Abstract

This classroom action research is an effort to increase student learning participation in science learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Based on the pre-cycle scores, it is known that of the 24 students there were only 6 students who met the score > KKM (75) while 18 of them had the score < KKM (75). Based on the scores in cycle 1 of my material and my needs, it is known that of the 24 students there were only 12 students who met the score > KKM (75) while 12 of them had the score < KKM (75). If examined carefully, this score of 75 was only obtained by a small number of students in the class. So if it is a percentage, it is very far below the specified percentage of total student completion, namely 75% of the total number of students. For this reason, it is very necessary to improve the deficiencies in cycle I learning through the implementation of cycle II actions. Based on the scores in cycle 2 of the material on how do I meet my needs, it is known that of the 24 students there are only 17 students who meet the score > KKM (75) while 7 of them have the score < KKM (75).

Abstract

Shaping the moral character of students is crucial, given the numerous negative perceptions in society regarding the failures of the education system in Indonesia, particularly at the secondary and higher education levels. The importance of character education from an early age in Indonesia is highlighted due to the decline in student morality in the era of globalization. Morality is considered an indicator of the quality of life in society. Religious individuals believe that religious teachings encourage followers to behave well and avoid wrongdoing. Character education must be taught systematically and holistically using the methods of knowing the good, loving the good, and acting the good. Character education is seen as a solution to overcoming contemporary challenges in the school environment. Keywords: Urgency of Character Education, Students, Schools;

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of the application of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model on the understanding of concepts in science subjects in class IV SDN Gading 160. This type of research is an experiment (pre-experimental design) using a one-group pretest design – posttest design. The sample for this research was class IV students, totaling 29 students. This research obtained the results of hypothesis testing for pretest and posttest data using the Paired Sample T-Test which showed the sig value. 0,000, which means it is smaller than α 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) so that the hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the pretest and posttest N-Gain Test showed that the average result obtained was 0.58, which showed a large influence of 58% (medium category). So, there is a significant influence of the application of the children learning in science (CLIS) model on the understanding of science subject concepts for class IV students at SDN Gading 160.   Keywords: children learning in science, understanding the concepts of science subjects

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the School Literacy Movement program at SD Negeri Gendongan 01 Salatiga, Salatiga City. This research uses the CIPP model with qualitative descriptive methods. The data is sourced through interviews, observation and documentation, then the data is analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that this context evaluation aims to improve students' abilities in literacy activities, for the evaluation of input facilities and infrastructure are quite adequate but need further improvement. In the process evaluation, students have carried out reading activities for 15 minutes before learning begins, and for product evaluation, the school's goal has been achieved, namely students become enthusiastic or motivated to read books. The inhibiting factor in this program is that the existing books never change, therefore it is necessary to rotate books. The School Literacy Movement  program at SD Negeri Gendongan 01 Salatiga is categorized as quite good, because the program has achieved the expected goals, but even so there is a need for program improvement.   Keywords : evaluation, CIPP model, school literacy

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated teaching module with a sequenced model to improve critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at SDN Ngelom, Taman Subdistrict. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the preparation stage with the aim of developing teaching modules by following the design of the 4-D model from Thiagarajan (1974) which was modified into 3-D followed by the implementation stage of learning in the classroom using a one group pretest-posttest design. The research data obtained are as follows: the results of the validation of learning devices are categorized as good and can be used with revision. The difficulty level of BAS is very low and easy to understand. The readability level of BAS is very high and easy to understand. The learning implementation score is 3.44 which is categorized as good. The frequency of prominent student activities is listening or paying attention to the teacher's explanation by 27.46%. The percentage of students' response to the learning model is 93.8%. The student learning completeness score from the Learning Outcomes Test (THB) trial I pretest question was 67.4 (20%), on the posttest 89 (90%). Trial II pretest questions were 57.3 (17%), on the posttest 84.2 (92%). The obstacles in learning activities are the very few media owned by the school and at the beginning of the meeting there were some students who were still passive, but at the next meeting students already appeared active. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the integrated module of the sequenced model to increase the students' learning ability. However, it still requires adaptation to suit the situation and conditions at school.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop augmented reality (AR) comic-based learning media for fraction material targeted at 3rd-grade elementary school students. The research method used was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results showed that the developed AR comic media was considered feasible and effective in improving students' understanding of fraction concepts. This media could visualize fraction concepts more concretely and attractively, thus encouraging active student engagement. The use of AR technology was proven to help students comprehend the abstract fraction material. Therefore, AR comic media can be an effective alternative for delivering fraction content to 3rd-grade elementary students.   Keywords: augmented reality, comic media, fractions, elementary school
