Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of student interest in participating in extracurricular sports at SDN 1 Purwawinangun, Kuningan Regency. The design used in this research is descriptive quantitative using a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study were students at SDN 1 Purwawinangun. The sample for this research was 57 students in grades 4, 5 and 6 who were required to take part in extracurricular activities. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire given to students at SDN 1 Purwawinangun. Data analysis techniques in research use descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results of the research showed that the level of student interest in participating in extracurricular sports at SDN 1 Purwawiangun was 3 people or 5% who were not interested, 13 people or 23% less interested, 25 people or 44% who were quite interested. interested, or 12 people or 21% quite interested. % and those who were very interested were 4 people or 4%. Then the comparison of the interest of male and female students is quite interested, considering that the highest frequency is in the quite interested category, with a comparison of 57% of women and 34% of men, quite interested and 32% interested, so that the interest of male students is quite interested, tends to be interested.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine whether the application of  Napier stem can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Lidah Wetan IV/566 Surabaya. This research used collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTK) techniques, with 10 class IV students as research subjects. This research focuses on student learning outcomes in multiplication, with data collected through assessments and studied descriptively and quantitatively. The results of cycle I showed an average score of 69, with the lowest score being 55 and the highest score being 80, and 50% of students met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). In cycle II, the average score increased to 77.5, with the lowest score being 55 and the highest score being 85, and 80% of students met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research shows that the application of mathematics learning media in the form of Napier rods can improve student learning outcomes in the mathematics subject of multiplication material.

Abstract

The platform-based learning media blooket was developed to assist the teaching and learning process in order to improve the understanding of descriptive text material for class VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The objectives of this study were (1) to develop a prototype of platform-based learning media blooket on descriptive text for class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba, (2) to analyze the validity of the development of platform-based learning media blooket, (3) to analyze the practicality of platform-based learning media blooket, (4) to analyze the effectiveness of using platform- based learning media blooket on descriptive text for class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The method used in this research and development was the Research and Development (R&D) method by adopting the ADDIE development model and approach developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The instruments used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. Product validation was carried out by material experts and media experts and product trials were carried out on class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The results of this development research proved that the blooket platform-based learning media was feasible to use based on the validation results from material experts with a score of 0.85 and media experts with a score of 0.82, which means a high validity value using the validity test using Aiken's. The results of student responses were 97%, greater than 84%, also indicate that the blooket platform-based learning media is practical to use in the learning process in the classroom. The blooket platform-based learning media was also effectively applied in the learning process as seen from the very significant influence on student learning outcomes where the results of the pretest and posttest of students show that student scores increased by 7.89 points or 10.62%.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the level of numerational ability of the students in the learning of Mathematics in Class IV at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02 through the application of the Teaching at the Right Level approach. (TaRL). The method used is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The study involved 30 pupils, classmates, and pupil teachers as sources. Data is collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done using Miles and Huberman's theory, which covers the stages of data collection, data reduction, presentation of information, and conclusion. The results of the study show that the application of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach is effective in improving the numeration skills of class IV pupils in the SDN Pedurungan Lor 02. Students were successfully grouped into low, medium, and high categories based on their numeration skills. TaRL application helps to identify the level of understanding of the student more accurately, so that learning can be tailored to the needs of each group. It shows that teaching strategies tailored to the level of apprenticeship can improve learning effectiveness, especially in developing numeration skills.

Abstract

Project based learning is a learning method that places students at the center of learning. This method also focuses on the process by which the final result of the application of project method learning are obtained in incresing the independence of students aged 5-6 years at the Kindegarten PGRI III Candiwates Prigen. This method greatly influences student activities in class. This type of metode research uses PTK (Classroom Action Research), the background to the selection of this research was to solve problems in a group of subjects who were observed and research and then given further improvement actions according to the situation in the class so that better learningthe study”s findings indicate that children’s independence rises with every cycle. Without action, the precentage of children’s independence during the pre-cycle was only 37,33%, cycle 1 reached 57,66%, and cycle II reached 84,33%. It can be said that the project methodology will increase the independence of kids between the ages of 5-6 years through the poject method at PGRI III CANDIWATES Kindegarten was declared successful.

Abstract

Numeracy ability is a very important basic ability for students to have which becomes a reference in understanding science and other basic knowledge in everyday life. To create good numeracy skills in students, teachers must be able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere. This can be realized with the Canva ppt learning media. Learning media is a learning tool that is used by teachers as intermediaries to convey instructional materials in the learning process so as to facilitate the achievement of teaching objectives. This research aims to analyze students' numeracy abilities regarding mathematics subject matter, learning motivation and also the use of learning media by teachers. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Bugangan 03 Semarang City, involving a teacher and 28 fifth grade students. Researchers collected data through structured interviews with fifth grade teachers, observing the learning process twice, and documentation in the form of photos, audio, and video. The data analysis technique used by researchers is the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The researcher's data validity technique used the credibility test and confirmability test. In testing the credibility of the data, researchers used ways to increase persistence in research, triangulation, and member checks. The results of the analysis show that using the Canva ppt learning media has a positive impact on increasing students' numeracy skills and learning motivation.

Abstract

File document compression is a crucial technique for data transmission to reduce file size without losing relevant information. Large file sizes require substantial storage space. Document files are generally larger compared to other text file formats. Due to the large size of docx files, data transmission can be time-consuming. Compression is a technique used to address this issue by reducing the size of data. This study utilizes the Punctured Elias Code and Taboo Code algorithms, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. After compressing with both algorithms, a comparison was performed. The final results indicate that the Taboo Code algorithm is the fastest and most effective for compressing document files, as a smaller total value indicates less effort required by the algorithm in the compression process.

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of scientific knowledge, the way people access information has also changed significantly. The need for information is now met not only through print media but also through electronic media such as e-books. To address issues related to the large size of digital files, such as PDFs, data compression techniques become crucial. Compression is the process of reducing the size of data to be smaller than its original size, making large files with many repeated characters more efficient for storage. This research aims to evaluate the performance of various compression algorithms by measuring the results of compressing PDF files according to specific parameters. The study shows that the Levenstein algorithm generally performs better in producing smaller file sizes compared to the Taboo Codes algorithm.

Abstract

File compression is a crucial technique in data processing for reducing file size without sacrificing data quality. Effective compression algorithms not only reduce file size but also maintain data integrity. This study compares the performance of two compression algorithms, Golomb Code and Taboo Code, in the context of MP4 file compression. Golomb Code is an efficient compression algorithm for data with geometric distribution, commonly used in lossless compression. Taboo Code is a newer compression algorithm designed to address some limitations of traditional compression methods by using more adaptive and flexible encoding techniques. The study evaluates the performance of both algorithms based on several metrics, including compression ratio, compression speed, and quality of the compressed file. Experiments were conducted on a range of MP4 files with varying sizes and content to achieve comprehensive results and better generalization. The findings indicate that each algorithm has its own strengths and weaknesses. Golomb Code performs better with files that have more regular data patterns and data distributions that align with the algorithm's assumptions. In contrast, Taboo Code excels in flexibility and adaptability with files that have more complex and irregular data patterns.

Abstract

Flowers are transformations of buds, including stems and leaves, with shapes and colors adapted to the plant's functions. They also serve as sites for fertilization and pollination. Flowers come in various shapes and colors, with over 250,000 flowering plant species known and classified into 350 families. Therefore, employing technology for flower pattern recognition is crucial for enhancing accuracy and efficiency. One effective method involves using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) in conjunction with the perceptron algorithm. This algorithm has proven effective in image-based pattern recognition due to its ability to learn complex and linear patterns from image data. This study explores the use of neural networks, specifically the perceptron method, in recognizing flower patterns. The test utilizes sunflower image samples, with the perceptron algorithm applied to produce accurate and effective data in flower pattern recognition.
