Abstract

This research aim to knowing whether there is a significant influence on student learning results by applying the Make A Match type cooperative learning model in the fifth grade Pancasila Education subject. This study used a type of Pre-Experimental Design research with a quantitative approach One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population used was grade V students of Pelangi Elementary School, totaling 12 people. The sampling technique used was total sample or saturated sampling. This research instrument is a test in the form of a pretest and posttest to measure learning results. Before using the instrument, the validity and reliability tests were first carried out. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed and used for hypothesis testing.  Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing, using paired sample T-test which shows that the significant value (2-tailed) is 0.001. This shows that the significant level value (2-tailed) <0.05. In accordance with the basis for decision making if the sig value. (2 tailed) <0.05, then there is a significant difference between learning outcomes in pretest-posttest data.Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that there is an influence between the Make A Match type model on the learning results of Pancasila Education on the material of cultural diversity of V grade students of Pelangi Manulai II Elementary School.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of implementing the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in enhancing the comprehension of hikayat texts among 10th-grade vocational high school students. The research problem addresses the challenge of improving students' understanding of cultural texts within a diverse classroom setting. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with two cycles, involving pretest and posttest assessments to measure student learning outcomes. Data were collected from 28 students, with an emphasis on evaluating the impact of CRT on their ability to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) set at 75. Results from Cycle 1 indicated an improvement in average scores from 65 in the pretest to 72 in the posttest, with the percentage of students meeting MCC increasing from 35.7% to 53.6%. In Cycle 2, after refining the CRT implementation, average scores rose significantly to 80, and the percentage of students achieving MCC reached 78.6%. These findings demonstrate that the CRT approach, which connects instructional content with students' cultural backgrounds, effectively enhances their understanding and engagement with hikayat texts. The study highlights the importance of continuous adjustments to teaching strategies to optimize learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by variations in learning that were less interesting so that students experienced difficulty in determining linguistic rules in the form of procedural texts. Thus, the aims of this research are: 1) to find out whether the application of the multiliteracy model based on Canva media in learning to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMPN 1 Sliyeg for the 2024/2025 academic year is effective; 2) to describe how the learning activity is to write procedural texts by applying the multiliteracy model based on Canva media for class VII students at SMPN 1 Sliyeg for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used in this research is an experimental study. The method for collecting data in this research is by collecting data from observations and tests (pretest and posttest). Based on the results of statistical calculations using the independent samples t-test, it was obtained that tcount was 3.919 and ttable was 1.672, which shows that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This explains that the influence of using the Canva media-based multiliteracy model in the experimental class can produce a more effective impact compared to the PowerPoint-based cooperative learning model applied in the control class. Based on the results of observations made, it is proven that the application of the multiliteracy model based on Canva media can increase student activity in learning to write procedural texts in class VII SMPN 1 Sliyeg.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning and budgeting process for student programs at SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used is interviews with related parties such as school principals, deputy principals, teachers and students as well as collecting documentation such as School Work Plans and Budgets (RKAS). The results show that ongoing student programs are planned with adjustments to the mission. The activities are in the form of TOEIC, PKL, MBS and extracurricular tests and simulations which are able to improve students' skills in accordance with the stated mission. In the budget aspect, obstacles were found such as limited funds and bureaucratic complexity. Schools address this by prioritizing budgets and improving coordination and dedicated management teams so that obstacles can be overcome.

Abstract

This study has 4 problem formulations, namely (1) What are the characteristics of Canva media in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things?, (2) Does the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things meet valid criteria?, (3) Does the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things meet practical criteria for use?, (4) Is the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things effective for use? Then the objectives of the problem formulation are (1) Developing the characteristics of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (2) Testing the validity of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (3) Testing the practicality of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (4) Testing the effectiveness of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things.  The method used in this study is ADDIE. The results of the study show that Canva-based animated video learning media in the subject of science has the following advantages: Canva provides professional and easy-to-understand visual content, and motivates student engagement. This media has been validated by experts and has been proven to improve student understanding compared to traditional methods. In addition, this media is practical to create and share, supporting classroom and distance learning. Finally, animated videos are effective in increasing engagement and providing faster feedback, making learning more enjoyable. The conclusion of the development of Canva-based animated video learning media in the subject of science with the material on the characteristics of living things is: first, Canva provides an attractive and customizable visual content design, increasing student engagement. Second, this media is valid and in accordance with the curriculum, and meets academic standards. Third, this media is practical for teachers to use to create and share content, facilitating student access. Finally, this media is effective in improving student understanding, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores. Abstract

Calistung learning in low-grade primary schools plays an important role in improving students' language and communication skills. This article discusses the sequence of language learning starting from the lower primary grades, which includes reading, writing and counting. Reading is the initial stage of language learning, which includes the recognition of letter shapes, recognition of linguistic elements, and slow reading speed. Writing as a medium of student communication so that students can convey their ideas, ideas, and feelings to each other through a series of words. Counting as a very important ability for students after reading and writing, which needs to be developed in equipping students. Thus, the sequence of language learning starting from low grade elementary school has important significance in improving students' language abilities and communication skills.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the challenges and opportunities in developing cultural and civic literacy in the digital era and provide recommendations for the future. The research method used was descriptive qualitative by conducting a literature search to collect actual and in-depth information. The results show that the main challenges in developing cultural literacy are exposure to false information and provocative content, limited access to cultural literacy education, and lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of cultural and civic literacy.  However, technology also provides opportunities in developing cultural literacy by allowing greater access to information and cultures from different parts of the world. Recommendations for the future include increasing the knowledge and mentoring of young people on the ethical and wise use of information technology, as well as the optimal utilisation of technology to enhance civic participation and quality. The study concludes that cultural and civic literacy play an important role in facing the challenges of globalisation and the development of information technology. The research recommendations emphasise the need to increase awareness of cultural and civic literacy, as well as the wise use of technology to strengthen civic participation and identity in the digital era.

Abstract

Supervision activities are related to controlling and measuring the effectiveness of learning using reliable scientific instruments. One of the supervision models developed on the basis of all-digital needs is the digital supervision model, although all supervision models need to be applied in independent learning. This study aims to analyze the transformation of educational supervision in the era of digital technology in the independent curriculum. The research method uses literature study with synthesis analysis and conclusions. Based on the analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the transformation of educational supervision in the Independent Learning curriculum can provide a change in professionalism and sophistication of supervision techniques. The adoption of technology makes the accessibility of education supervision activities easier.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the Student Team Achievement Division Type Cooperative Learning model on the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students in Science and Technology Subjects at State Elementary School 047166 Sukadame for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 047166 Sukadame, consisting of 35 students. Sampling used purposive sampling and a Likert scale. The sample involved in this research was class IV students at SD Negeri 047166 Sukadame, consisting of 18 boys and 17 girls. To determine students' initial abilities, researchers conducted a pretest with an average score of 55.6 in the not good category. After researchers used the Student Team Achievement Division Cooperative learning model, it showed that student learning outcomes had increased with an average score of 81.2 in the good category. This research can be proven from the results of calculating the correlation coefficient of 0.631, meaning tcount (0.631) ≥ ttable (0.334). So Ha accepted. So there is a strong influence between the Student Team Achievement Division Type Cooperative Learning model on the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students at State Elementary School 047166 Sukadame. It can be seen from the results of the t-test, namely 4,671 ≥ 2,060 with a significant level (α = 0.05). thus Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of the Student Team Achievement Division Type Cooperative Learning model on the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students at State Elementary School 047166 Sukadame for the 2023/2024 Learning Year.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) telah menjadi fokus penelitian di bidang pendidikan, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru dalam pemanfaatan AR dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, sehingga dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik bagi siswa SD. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengajar dan pengembang kurikulum dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan AR dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurut tenaga pendidik, media pembelajaran berbasis AR untuk siswa SD memiliki potensi untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Akan tetapi, jika dilihat pada pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan AR nilai rata-rata skor yang diperoleh ada di antara 2,6 dan 2,8. Hal ini berarti masih ada beberapa kendala dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis AR di sekolah dasar. Para tenaga pendidik percaya bahwa AR memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan berbeda dari pembelajaran konvensional. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan dan penerapan aplikasi AR yang lebih luas dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, serta perhatian terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan yang efektif dari media pembelajaran AR.
