Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning to write procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala and to determine student activities in learning to write procedural texts using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Designs the research design used is Nonequivalent control group design. Data analysis in this test data taken based on the results of the pretest and posttest tests from 2 groups namely the experiment and control. The average pretest score of the experimental class was 70.20 and increased to 87.08 in the posttest, while in the control class, the average pretest score was 72.16 and increased to 80.41. The results of the two independent sample t-test, namely (independent sample test), obtained t count of 3.555 and t table of 1.679 so t count (3.555) > t table (1.679), which shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is an influence of learning to write procedural texts using the problem-based learning model. So there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in Learning to Write Procedural Texts for Grade XI Students of SMAN 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of parenting patterns to help shape a child's character and interest in learning. Some children have bad behavior in learning, lack of interest in learning, lack of learning support to achieve achievements. Sometimes the child needs to be given a good example so that he can be a good example, the child also needs support or appreciation to achieve achievements and how a parent's efforts to prevent and solve the problem of low interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors of low interest in learning in students at SDN 158 grade 3 Gresik Regency and to describe the role of parenting patterns to increase interest in learning students at SDN 158 grade 3 Gresik Regency and to describe the obstacles for parents to carry out parenting patterns to increase interest in learning at SDN 158 grade 3 Gresik Regency. The type of research used is a descriptive qualitative approach. This study uses data collection techniques with Observation, Interviews, and Documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity test used in this study is time triangulation. The results of the study of the role of parenting patterns in increasing interest in learning in grade III students at SDN 158 Gresik. The factors for low interest in learning are many and varied, including: 1) internal factors including children are not interested in learning because they tend to prefer watching television, children are not interested in learning because they tend to prefer playing with cellphones, children are not interested in subjects, lack of discipline from parents for children and lack of motivation to learn from parents to increase children's interest in learning. 2) external factors that include a bad environment that makes children influenced by bad things, giving freedom to children without any limits so that children are more interested in playing than studying, not providing discipline to children so that children always break the rules, lack of parental attention to provide learning motivation so that children have no interest in learning. The efforts of parents in increasing interest in learning are by: 1) providing opportunities to play but with limits, 2) providing rules for children to be disciplined, 3) providing learning motivation to children so that they have an interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita Matematika materi bilangan cacah kelas IV SD Negeri Malangrejo. 2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita Matematika materi bilangan cacah kelas IV SD Negeri Malangrejo. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, kartu pencatat data, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kartu pencatat data. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal cerita bilangan cacah berdasarkan teori Newman terbagi dalam kategori kesalahan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Siswa kategori kesalahan tinggi kurang mampu dalam membaca, memahami soal, transformasi, keterampilan proses, dan pengkodean. Siswa kategori sedang mampu keterampilan proses dan kurang mampu dalam membaca, memahami soal, transformasi, dan pengkodean. Kategori kesalahan rendah siswa mampu mencapai hampir semua indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah Newman yaitu membaca, memahami soal, transformasi, keterampilan proses, dan pengkodean. 2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa yaitu, faktor internal meliputi kesehatan fisik, minat, dan motivasi serta faktor eksternal meliputi lingkungan fisik sekolah, lingkungan sosial kelas, dan lingkungan sosial keluarga. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of using Scratch as a learning medium on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Simaja. The background of this research is the low student achievement, which is attributed to the use of unengaging and non-interactive instructional media. The study employed a quantitative method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 22 students. The instruments used were pretest and posttest assessments to measure cognitive learning outcomes, and observation sheets to assess affective and psychomotor aspects. The results revealed a significant improvement in mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of Scratch media. The students' average score increased from 59.09 (pretest) to 82.37 (posttest), while the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria rose from 22.73% to 81.82%. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 and a t-value of 15.603 > t-table value of 2.079, indicating a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes before and after using Scratch. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.6616, categorized as moderate, suggesting that the use of Scratch is reasonably effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Scratch as a learning medium is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Simaja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pelatihan karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di SD Negeri Cerih 03, Kecamatan Jatinegara, Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dilaksanakan secara rutin, terstruktur, dan melibatkan berbagai aktivitas seperti apel, baris-berbaris, pemberian materi kepramukaan, serta permainan edukatif. Kegiatan ini berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter disiplin peserta didik, yang tercermin dari peningkatan kedisiplinan waktu, berpakaian, menaati aturan, dan tanggung jawab siswa. Implementasi kegiatan juga didukung oleh peran aktif pembina dan kepala sekolah dalam memberikan keteladanan dan pengawasan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Pramuka terbukti efektif sebagai sarana pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa sejak usia dini.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes and minimal student involvement in mathematics learning, especially on the topic of area and perimeter of flat shapes. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is implemented in four cycles of meetings, through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects of the research were 24 fourth-grade students of SDN Pemurus Dalam 2 Banjarmasin, consisting of 14 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The findings show that student learning completeness in the initial stage (pretest) was only 17%, then increased to 29% in the first meeting, 50% in the second meeting, 83% in the third meeting, and reached 92% in the fourth meeting. Student learning activities also increased, starting from 42% in the first meeting, rising to 63%, 83%, and reaching 96% in the final meeting. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the PATUH learning model which is an integration of Problem Based Learning, Student Teams Achievement Division, and Course Review Horay has proven effective in improving the activities and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Pemurus Dalam 2 Banjarmasin

Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa sangat penting diperhatikan dalam berkomunikasi demi kelancaran komunikasi. Komunikasi tersebut dapat dilakukan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran maupun diluar kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesantunan berbahasa indonesia murid dalam berinteraksi dengan guru, dan untuk mengetahui penyimpangan kesatunan berbahasa murid dalam berinteraksi dengan guru kelas IV SDN Tawangsari Purworejo. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penilitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan murid kelas IV SDN Tawangsari Purworejo. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tuturan murid. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kesantunan berbahasa murid dalam berinteraksi dengan guru termasuk dalam kategori sangat santun yaitu dengan persentase kesantunan 87% pematuhan kesantunan dan 14% tuturan yang melanggar prinsip kesantunan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) To determine the effect of the Transformational Principal's leadership style on student learning outcomes at Plaju District Elementary Schools; (2) To determine the effect of the Human Resource Management (HRM) approach on student learning outcomes at Plaju District Elementary Schools; (3) To determine the effect of the Transformational Principal's leadership style and the Human Resource Management (HRM) approach on student learning outcomes at Plaju District Elementary Schools. This study is a quantitative study with a correlation method. This study was conducted at Plaju District Elementary Schools with 42 respondents. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The validity test used the product moment formula while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha. The analysis prerequisite test used the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, and the data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was an effect between the transformational principal's leadership style on student learning outcomes of 82.9%; (2) there is an influence between the Human Resource Management (HRM) approach and student learning outcomes of 86.4%; (3) there is an influence between the transformational principal's leadership style and the Human Resource Management (HRM) approach and student learning outcomes of 92.3%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of students' reading comprehension skills. This condition is reflected in the achievement of students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills that have not met the expected standards, so that development efforts are needed. One solution offered is the innovation of interactive learning media that can support the improvement of students' reading comprehension skills. This study aims to develop a Bibliofil application based on the SQ4R method as a means to improve the reading comprehension skills of 5th grade students. The type of research used is design and development (DnD) with the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carey (1996), which includes five stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. Data collection techniques include pre-research: observation, work logs and questionnaires, and during the research: tests and non-tests, with data analysis using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study indicate that the Bibliofil application was successfully developed by integrating learning objectives and reading comprehension indicators, and activities in the application are aligned with the steps of the SQ4R method. Based on expert validation, the application received an average score in the excellent category. Product implementation demonstrated improved learning outcomes with a high N-Gain rating for knowledge, moderate for attitudes, and excellent for skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Bibliofil application is effective in improving students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand and analyze the simultaneous and individual effects of product reviews and transaction convenience on the purchase intention of economics education students on the TikTok shop platform. This study used quantitative data from questionnaires distributed to 110 respondents. The result of the t – test found that both product reviews and transaction convenience positively influence purchase intention. Furthermore, the f – test result indicated that product reviews and transaction convenience simultaneously affect purchase intention.
