Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ learning mastery in mathematics, where 55% or 18 out of 33 students had not yet achieved the minimum competency standard. This condition occurred because the learning process was still teacher-centered, using conventional methods such as lectures and practice exercises. To address this issue, the Polamatika method was implemented, emphasizing student-centered learning through the use of shadow boxes and collaborative problem-solving related to everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Polamatika method and its effectiveness in improving mathematical problem-solving skills in multiplication and learning activity among third-grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 2 Mundu. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kurt Lewin’s model, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 33 students. The results showed an improvement in both learning mastery and student engagement across cycles. Learning mastery increased from 18 students (55%) in the first cycle to 25 students (80%) in the second cycle, meeting the classical success indicator of 80%. Likewise, students’ learning activity improved from 65.15% (active category) in the first cycle to 75.15% (very active category) in the second cycle. In conclusion, the application of the Student-Centered Learning model through the Polamatika method effectively enhanced students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities in multiplication and increased their learning activity in elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan Mata Hati (Majlis Ta’lim Hari Jum’at Pagi) terhadap kesadaran ibadah salat Zuhur murid di SMAN 3 Talang Ubi. Program Mata Hati merupakan kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan rutin yang dilaksanakan setiap hari Jum’at pagi dengan bentuk tausiyah, dzikir, dan pembiasaan ibadah bersama yang berfokus pada penguatan nilai spiritual peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa SMAN 3 Talang Ubi, dan sampel diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk menguji pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Mata Hati memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran ibadah salat Zuhur. Hal ini terlihat dari meningkatnya disiplin siswa dalam melaksanakan salat berjamaah, pemahaman terhadap nilai religius, serta motivasi beribadah secara konsisten. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Mata Hati terbukti berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter religius siswa dan menjadi sarana efektif dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa pengaruh besar terhadap perilaku, pola pikir, dan karakter peserta didik di era modern. Akses informasi yang cepat dan tanpa batas memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan wawasan serta keterampilan literasi digital. Namun, di sisi lain, fenomena ini juga memunculkan berbagai tantangan serius, seperti degradasi moral, rendahnya etika dalam berinteraksi, kecanduan media sosial, dan penyalahgunaan teknologi untuk hal-hal yang tidak produktif. Kondisi tersebut menegaskan perlunya penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman agar peserta didik memiliki filter moral dalam menghadapi arus globalisasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam konsep fitrah dan etika peserta didik sebagaimana termaktub dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadits serta relevansinya dalam membentuk karakter Islami yang kuat di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research) melalui analisis tafsir tematik dan kajian hadis yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitrah menggambarkan potensi dasar manusia untuk cenderung pada kebaikan, keimanan, dan kebenaran, sedangkan etika menjadi panduan perilaku untuk menghormati guru, beradab, jujur, dan bertanggung jawab, termasuk dalam aktivitas digital. Relevansi konsep tersebut di era digital menuntut adanya integrasi nilai amanah, adab, dan tanggung jawab digital dalam proses pendidikan. Dengan demikian, penguatan pendidikan karakter yang berlandaskan fitrah dan etika Islami diharapkan mampu melahirkan generasi beriman, berilmu, berakhlak mulia, dan bijak dalam penggunaan teknologi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of swim parachute and paddle training on the speed of 50 Meter Freestyle Swimming Ku III 12-13 Years Binatirta Swimming Club in 2025. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 8 athletes, the research instrument used was quantitative with an experimental method, while the data analysis technique used the Paired-Samples T-test method (Related T Test). The results of the t-test obtained a t-count value of 6.443 and t-table, namely the t-distribution table with α = 5% and df = 7 of 2.365. While the significance result is 0.000. Because t-count = 6.443 > t-table = 2.365 and the significance sig. (0.000) <α (0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an effect of swim parachute and paddle training on the speed of 50 meter freestyle swimming ku III 12-13 years binatirta swimming club in 2025.

Abstract

Banyak siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengemukakan pendapat atau argumennya di depan umum, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan berbicara secara efektif. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya penerapan model pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif guna menciptakan suasana belajar yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran talking stick dan storytelling, serta perbedaan keefektifan antara model pembelajaran talking stick dan storytelling terhadap keterampilan berbicara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif Quasi experiment bentuk desain Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling, kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian berupa tes hasil berbicara siswa, yang dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas yang menggunakan model talking stick sebesar 76,89, sedangkan kelas yang menggunakan model storytelling sebesar 74,25, Meskipun secara deskriptif model pembelajaran talking stick menghasilkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi, hasil analisis uji N-Gain Score menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 0,081, yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan secara statistik antara kedua model pembelajaran tersebut. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran talking stick dan storytelling memiliki pengaruh yang relatif sama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VIII SMPN 18 Kota Serang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of coding unplugged as an innovative learning approach to develop digital literacy among early childhood learners at TK Aisyiyah Cakru, Jember. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The coding unplugged activities were conducted in two sessions—“Walking to a Friend’s House” and “Coloring According to Code”—designed to stimulate children’s ability to follow instructions, organize sequences, and recognize symbolic patterns as the foundation of computational thinking. Data were analyzed interactively following the model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that coding unplugged served as an effective learning innovation to enhance children’s digital literacy. Children became more enthusiastic, independent, and capable of understanding sequencing, pattern recognition, and logical problem-solving. These findings reinforce the constructivist pedagogy and guided play approach as creative strategies to foster digital literacy from an early age.

Abstract

Code-mixing is a linguistic phenomenon that emerges in bilingual or multilingual communities, and is often found in written literary works such as novels. This study aims to identify the types, forms, and functions of code-mixing present in the novel Alster Lake by Auryn Vientania. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with the novel Alster Lake as the main data source. The research data consists of dialogues between characters and story narrations containing code-mixing. The results identified three forms of code-mixing (word, phrase, and clause), three types of code-mixing (inner, outer, and hybrid/mixed), and four functions of code-mixing (showing respect, emphasizing a specific intention, indicating self-identity, and the influence of the conversation material). The most dominant form of code-mixing is the word level (89 data). The most dominant type of code-mixing is outer code-mixing (122 data), involving English and German. Meanwhile, the most dominant function of code-mixing is the influence of the conversation material (76 data). The use of this code-mixing serves to build character depth, create atmosphere, and reflect the social reality of contemporary multilingual communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media and online gameuse and student learning behavior in the Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed) subject atMAN 3 Jambi City. The study used a quantitative approach with correlationalmethods. The sample consisted of 251 students selected using proportionaterandom sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire based onindicators for each variable and analyzed using product-moment correlation andmultiple correlation. The results showed a positive and significant relationshipbetween social media use and learning behavior (R = 0.4445; KD = 19.75%) andbetween online games and learning behavior (R = 0.4627; KD = 21.41%).Simultaneously, both significantly influenced learning behavior (F-count = 64.717 &gt;F-table = 3.03). This study concludes that social media and online games, as partof students&#39; digital reality, have a strong relationship with learning behavior inAqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed) learning. Therefore, the use of digital technologyneeds to be directed wisely to support character-based and spiritual education.

Abstract

The use of instructional videos has become an innovation in education to increase student learning motivation, particularly at the elementary school level. This study aims to examine the effect of using instructional videos on the learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary school students. Based on a literature review and empirical studies, it was found that instructional videos have a significant positive impact on learning motivation. This medium can increase student enthusiasm, engagement, and curiosity through interactive and visual presentation of material. Empirical research shows an increase in motivation scores from pretest to posttest after video implementation, supported by theories such as Edgar Dale's Cone of Experience and multimedia learning theory. However, video effectiveness depends on production quality, duration, and integration with the curriculum. Challenges such as limited access to technology in certain areas also need to be addressed. The results of this study recommend the use of instructional videos as an effective strategy to increase the learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary school students, with suggestions for further research to explore optimal video types and their long-term impact on academic achievement. Abstract

The background of this research is based on the fact that students' interest in learning in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject, especially in the material "My Indonesia is Rich in Culture," is still relatively low, which is indicated by the lack of active participation, enthusiasm in learning, and learning outcomes have not reached the minimum completion criteria (KKM) or learning outcomes are still relatively low. The interactive learning model was created to create a more interesting, active, and collaborative learning atmosphere so that it is expected to increase student involvement in the learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 40 fourth-grade students divided into two groups, namely class IVA as an experimental class using an interactive learning model and class IVB as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires on students' learning interests before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was conducted using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test with the help of SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average value of students' learning interest in the experimental class increased significantly after the interactive learning model was implemented. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive learning model has a positive and significant effect on increasing students' learning interest in the Natural Sciences subject with the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture.
