Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Jumputan batik is one type of batik that uses binding and dyeing techniques according to the desired color. This training activity on jumputan making techniques on totebag media uses training and mentoring methods directly to the parties involved. The techniques used include socialization, discussion, and hands-on practice. The making of Jumputan batik totebags is expected to be a place for children to be able to express themselves, develop creativity, and broaden their horizons about art and hand skills. they can express their imagination freely from the thoughts of orphanage children. The training on jumputan technique on totebag media produces unique works that are the result of a personal touch. Before the training, their understanding was only 18%. However, after attending the training, their understanding increased to 94% through the results of the questionnaire survey that has been conducted. With the training practice of making jumputan techniques on totebag media, it provides a fun new experience for children of Bakti Mulia Orphanage Palembang, and can foster an entrepreneurial spirit that provides business opportunities for children of Bakti Mulia Orphanage Palembang.

The aim of the research is to examine the role of Pancasila education in instilling the character of traffic law awareness and compliance among students at SMA Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. The research type is qualitative. The subjects of the research are Pancasila education teachers and students of SMA Kristen Satya Wacana. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, and the data is analyzed qualitatively. The research findings indicate that the role of Pancasila education in instilling the character of traffic law awareness and compliance among students at SMA Kristen Satya Wacana meets the criteria for good teaching, including aspects of learning material, presentation, process, social environment, and learning outcomes. The level of traffic law awareness among students, measured by legal knowledge, understanding of the law, attitudes towards the law, and legal behavior, is categorized as good.

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in PPKn learning, marked by students not being able to meet several indicators of learning comprehension. On the other hand, teachers still apply conventional learning methods, namely lectures. The lecture method commonly used by teachers is less efficient in its application so that it does not arouse students' interest in boring learning. As a result, students do not fully understand the subjects they are studying. The purpose of this study is to improve students' learning comprehension abilities towards PPKn learning by implementing the pair checks learning model in class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. The design of this study is based on classroom action research carried out by a teacher in the classroom. The action plan in each cycle of this research is grouped into four stages, namely: 1. Planning stage, 2. Action implementation stage, 3. Observation/observation stage, 4. Reflection. Research data were obtained through test sheets and documentation. The success criteria determined in the study were 60%. The results of the study showed that in cycle I the level of students' understanding ability increased from the original 40% to 50% but the success criteria set had not been met. Improvements were made in cycle I to continue cycle II which increased by 11% to 61% which means that the intervention was declared successful because it achieved the success set. The success of this study was achieved through improvements made in each cycle.

This study aims to: 1) determine the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning model in learning to write anecdotal texts in grade X students of SMA NU Kaplongan Academic Year 2019/2020 and 2) How are learning activities to write anecdotal texts by applying the Problem Based Learning model to students of grade X of SMA NU Kaplongan Academic Year 2019/2020. This study uses an experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this researcher is all students of class X of SMA NU Kaplongan for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Using the purposive sampling technique, class X Science 2 was determined as an experimental class with a total of 22 students and class X IPS 2 as a control class with a total of 22 students. The research data was collected through written tests and observation sheets. Based on the results of statistical calculations using the Test of Normality and the difference test using the Wilcoxon test, the results of the pretest sig were 0.002 and the posttest sig was 0.004. The sig value of both is not eligible, which is ≥ 0.05. The Wilcoxon test obtained a result of 0.068 where this value ≥ 0.05. This shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be stated that the Problem Based Learning model is effectively applied in learning to write anecdotal texts in grade X students of SMA NU Kaplongan for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Based on the analysis of observation data, it is proven that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can increase students' activity in the learning process of writing anecdotal texts in grade X students of SMA NU Kaplongan for the 2019/2020 Academic Year.

The development of creative thinking in learning Pancasila education is still not optimal due to the limited availability of books in schools. The books used are student books which still do not provide enough stimulus for students to think creatively. This research aims to develop Wordless Picture Book teaching materials to improve the creative thinking abilities of 5th-grade students at the UNJ PGSD Laboratory Elementary School. The research uses the Rn D method based on the initial stages of the ADDIE model, namely Analysis by Borg and Gall. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet with descriptive quantitative data type. The research data results show that there is not enough open material in storybooks to improve creative thinking skills. Students and teachers need interesting and challenging storybooks to develop creative thinking skills. One alternative open material is a wordless picture book.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi pembelajaran ekopedagogik terhadap karakter peduli lingkungan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Jalaksana Kecamatan Jalaksana Kabupaten Kuningan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Jalaksana yang berjumlah 31 orang. Hasil penelitian ini terlihat dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji t, dimana nilai mean atau rata-rata sebelum diberikan treatment atau pretets yaitu 34,32 sedangkan nilai mean atau rata-rata setelah diberikannya treatment atau posttets yaitu 89,32 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00<0,05 yang artinya nilai setelah diberikannya perlakuan atau treatment lebih besar dibanding dengan nilai sebelum diberikannya perlakuan atau treatment dengan nilai signifikansi yang lebih kecil dari dari 0,05. Hal ini berarti adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan atau treatment dengan pengimplementasian pembelajaran ekopedagogik dengan projek ecobrick dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian pembelajaran ekopedagogik dengan projek ecobrick dalam pembelajaran IPAS berpengaruh terhadap karakter peduli lingkungan siswa.

The objective of this research was to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the Problem Based Learning model in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at SDN 101883 Limau Manis, Tanjung Morawa District. This research was classroom action research (CAR) consisting of three cycles, with two meetings in each cycle. Each cycle included four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were fourth-grade students at SDN 101883 Limau Manis, Tanjung Morawa District. This research utilized data collection techniques such as tests and non-tests, including observation, evaluation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed was quantitative analysis. The results indicated a significant improvement after using the Problem Based Learning model, as seen in the third cycle, where in two meetings, 18 students or 90% out of 20 students achieved mastery. This demonstrated that the students' learning outcomes reached the success indicator with a Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 70, achieving more than 70% in accordance with the provisions expected in the fourth grade at SDN 101883 Limau Manis, Tanjung Morawa District

This study examines the biography of Sumiyati Khilyatun Hasanah from 1997 to 2023. The research problem addressed in this thesis is: What were the factors that led to Sumiyati Khilyatun Hasanah being named an Inspirational Woman in 2023? The purpose of this research is to describe Sumiyati Khilyatun Hasanah's career journey and her contributions in the social field. The writing of this thesis utilizes the historical method, which is composed of four stages:First, heuristics, or data collection from various sources that are relevant, utilizing primary sources such as documents, interview reports, and individuals directly involved in the matter. Second, source criticism, which involves testing the authenticity of the data to determine whether it is relevant to the writing or not. Third, interpretation, which involves explaining the data obtained so that it can support this writing. And fourth, historiography, which is the process of writing the research results in the form of a scientific paper or thesis.The results of the study show that Sumiyati Khilyatun Hasanah's career journey from 1997-2023 includes several stages: founding a Quranic Education Park (TPQ) and the Rimbo Bujang Islamic Boarding School in 1997, being actively involved in PKK and BKMT activities from 2005-2011, entering politics in 2014, and establishing the Inayah Multi Business Center (IMBC). Sumiyati's contributions in the social field include activities such as supporting orphans and leadership, as well as her involvement in converting members of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) to Islam. Sumiyati was named an Inspirational Woman in 2023.

Learning Strategy is a series of activities carried out to achieve learning objectives. A teacher certainly has different learning strategies in implementing learning in the classroom, especially Arts and Culture learning strategies which must apply creative and interactive principles. Arts and Culture subjects generally consist of practical material, so they are considered to have their own challenges and difficulties to be done easily. So learning media is needed as a tool to help a teacher in delivering material. The purpose of using learning media is to facilitate the delivery of material by teachers to students. Apart from that, using creative and interactive learning media can help students' social and emotional emotions to create a pleasant classroom atmosphere. Of course, feeling happy, not boring, and students tending to be active in using learning media, will help carry out effective learning activities, including easily achieving learning goals. Thus, this research aims to explain how learning strategies use healthy dice media as an effort to improve the singing abilities of class IX students at SMPN 51 Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, namely research that produces data in the form of descriptive answers in the form of words based on the results of observations. The results of this research are how to implement learning strategies using healthy Dice Media and the results of implementing learning using healthy Dice Media in improving the singing ability of class IX students at SMPN 51 Surabaya.

This study analyzes the principles of counseling guidance in the Quran, focusing on Surah Luqman verses 12-19, and examines their implementation at the Darussalam Islamic boarding school. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, utilizing literature review, documentation, and interviews with BK teachers, caregivers, and students. Observations of students' daily behavior and their relationships with caregivers were also conducted. The research revealed that the counseling guidance at Darussalam Islamic boarding school is based on the Quran, particularly Surah Luqman verses 12-19. The "al mauidzah al hasanah" approach, characterized by gentle and kind language, is predominantly used, as it is more easily accepted by students. However, the "bil hikmah" approach is applied to students who are resistant to advice or when the "al mauidzah al hasanah" approach fails to resolve their issues. Interviews with the dormitory head, BK teachers, and students confirmed that the school not only uses the Quran as a teaching tool but also as a means of addressing students' problems. This reflects the integration of Quranic principles into the school's counseling guidance, demonstrating the Quran's role as both a source of knowledge and a practical tool for problem-solving within the school environment.
