Abstract

This research is to find out; 1) direct influence of organizational culture on lecturer performance, 2) direct influence of lecturer cognitive abilities on lecturer performance, 3) direct influence of lecturer work teams on lecturer performance, 4) influence of organizational culture on work teams, 5) direct influence of cognitive abilities on work teams , 6) the indirect influence of organizational culture on performance through work teams, 7) the indirect influence of cognitive abilities on lecturer performance through work teams. This research uses quantitative methods, with a form of descriptive research that processes data using the results of distributing questionnaires to population samples, so as to obtain a significant relationship and a mutual tendency towards the probability of error regarding the hypothesis being built. This type of research approaches path analysis (path analysis). This research examines or analyzes the relationship between research variables, as well as measuring the influence of one variable on other variables. In this research, there are four variables that will be studied, namely (1) organizational culture, (2) cognitive abilities, (3) work team, and (4) lecturer performance. The population in this study were all permanent lecturers at private universities consisting of forty-three (43) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra. The sample used in this research was proportional random sampling guided by the Krejcle and Morgan tables. The research sample included 311 lecturers from eight (8) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra who were still active until 2021/2022. The results of the research, the R-Square value of Lecturer Performance (Y) is 0.760, which means that Organizational Culture (X1), Cognitive Ability (X2), and Work Team (X3) are able to explain Lecturer Performance (Y) by 76%, the remaining 24% explained by other factors, the R-Square value of the Work Team (X3) is 0.500, which means that Organizational Culture (X1) and Cognitive Ability (X2) are able to explain the Work Team (X3) by 50%, the remaining 50% is explained by other factors, Organizational Culture (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Lecturer Performance (Y), with a coefficient value (Original Sample column) = 0.383, and P-Values = 0.000 < 0.05 (Hypothesis Accepted),

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of Ma'had Aly-based Arabic Curriculum Management at As Sunnah Islamic College, Deli Serdang-North Sumatra. With a descriptive qualitative research method, it describes in depth the management of the Arabic language curriculum based on dormitories. As well as collecting data used by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. These findings reveal that Ma'had Aly-Based Arabic Curriculum Management in all study programs with three management functions namely; 1) The planning of the ma'had aly-based Arabic curriculum is based on the Vision, Mission and Objectives of the tertiary institution, the institutional/Ma'had Aly/Syariah content curriculum, lecture schedules and activity schedules in the dormitories, competent educators, syllabus and lecturer lesson plan, Providing free books and providing adequate infrastructure. 2) The implementation of the ma'had aly-based Arabic curriculum contains Arabic language courses, placement of competent teachers, supporting activities in the dormitory such as daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities, language habits and obligations in the campus and dormitory environment, Punishment using other than Arabic. 3) Evaluation of the ma'had aly-based Arabic curriculum is carried out by assessing the subjects during the MID and UAS exams, cumulative assessments, Toalf tests, and involving Internal Evaluators and External Evaluators.

Abstract

Lecturer leadership competencies include the abilities, knowledge, and skills needed by a lecturer to be an effective leader in the college environment. The leadership role of lecturers is very important in guiding, inspiring, and leading students and academic teams towards successful academic and moral achievement in college. This study aims to determine and identify the leadership competencies of lecturers based on Islamic values in the context of higher education. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Through literature study, this research explores various relevant sources to find out and identify and describe Islamic values and qualifications required by lecturers in tertiary institutions, especially Islamic tertiary institutions. Furthermore, FGD was conducted with experts to get a direct view of the leadership competence of lecturers based on Islamic values. The results showed that the leadership competence of lecturers based on Islamic values covers several key aspects, namely: fear of Allah, integrity (siddiq), trustful (amanah), visionary (fathonah), effective communication (tabligh), fair (adl), brave and firmness (Shuja’a wahazim), being an example (uswatun hasanah), leadership based on deliberation (syura), responsibility (mashwuwlia), and accountable (shafaf).

Abstract

Implementing the concept of learning organization in private universities is a big problem. This article highlights potential barriers to transforming private colleges into responsive, innovative, and learning-oriented organizations. These barriers include a strict corporate culture, insufficient resources, lack of leadership support, vague goals, and difficulty managing change. However, the article also provides ways to overcome these challenges, such as developing a learning culture, wise resource allocation, dedicated leadership, explicit goal setting, and effective change management. By implementing these solutions, private universities can become dynamic and relevant educational institutions, ready to meet the changing demands of the education sector. This article demonstrates the important function of a learning organization in improving the quality of higher education and preparing students for a competitive future. The purpose of this study is to examine the barriers to the implementation of learning organization and describe the solutions to these barriers. Descriptive qualitative and case study methodology through data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis to find out more about the implementation of a learning organization and its impact on the performance of private universities.The findings of this study are intended to show the importance of developing a learning organization in a higher education environment as well as dealing with barriers to implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  dan  menganalisis  nilai-nilai Pendidikan keluarga yang terkandung di dalam surat Yusuf.  Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode  library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif sebagai jenis penelitiannya. Sumber data yang dikaji , yaitu; surat Yusuf dalam al-Qur’an al-karim. Untuk mengkaji teks ayat surat Yusuf dan penafsirannya, peneliti menggunakan Content  Analysis.  Content Analysis  merupakan  analisis  ilmiah  tentang  isi  pesan  suatu informasi.  Secara  teknis,  substansi content  analysis  ruang  lingkupnya  mencakup;  klasifikasi  tanda-tanda   yang   digunakan   dalam   informasi dan komunikasi,   menggunakan   kriteria   sebagai   dasar   klasifikasi,   dan menggunakan metode penafsiran maudhui sebagai  sarana penjelas kandungan nilai-nilai Pendidikan keluarga dalam surat Yusuf. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa kisah Nabi Yusuf bersama keluarga dalam Al-Qur’an terkandung nilai-nilai pendidikan keluarga Islami. Beberapa pelajaran yang dapat dipetik dari Surat Yusuf mengenai pendidikan keluarga adalah: pertama, kasih sayang dan perhatian. Kedua, keadilan dalam perlakuan Anak. Ketiga, pendidikan moral. Keempat, keimanan kepada Allah. Kelima, kesabaran. Keenam, Pengampunan dan persaudaraan. Ketujuh, komunikasi terbuka. Kedelapan, Kewaspadaan terhadap Kemungkinan Konflik. Surat Yusuf terkandung kisah yang kaya dengan pelajaran moral dan nilai-nilai yang dapat diterapkan dalam pendidikan keluarga. Yaitu mengajarkan pentingnya kasih sayang, keadilan, komunikasi terbuka, pendidikan moral, dan keimanan dalam mendidik anak-anak.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic Empires in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data sources are quoted from credible pages such as Google Scholar and SINTA. Then the data were analyzed and checked for validity through data triangulation. The results of this study concluded that the role of the Islamic kingdom in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia was to influence the process of Islamization in Indonesia through the establishment of various educational institutions, such as (1) Aceh (Darussalam, Pasai and Malacca), establishing Balai Setia Hukama, Balai Setia Ulama, and the Ulama Association Congregation Hall; (2) Mataram Kingdom, establishing grand mosques in each district as well as mosques for each village, combining cultural elements with the principles of Islamic teachings, and classifying the levels of recitation in Islamic boarding schools starting from the level of the Koran, recitation of turat books, large Islamic boarding schools , and level of special expertise or specialty; and (3) the Islamic kingdom of Malacca, the palaces and houses of preachers to become Islamic educational institutions, as well as the use of mosques and surau as Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Drought is a natural disaster that can result in reduced water availability which is far below needs. West Lombok Regency is one of the districts in NTB Province that is prone to drought. Based on BPBD data from 2019 to 2021, there are six sub-districts that experience drought every year in West Lombok district. The aim of this research is to examine drought disaster mitigation management in West Lombok Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research approach in analyzing the problems that have been determined. The type of data used is descriptive qualitative data. This research uses George R. Terry's management function as a reference. Based on the research results, the West Lombok Regency BPBD is still encountering obstacles or problems, namely related to organizing, actuating and also monitoring (controlling) the drought disaster in West Lombok Regency. Therefore, when one of the indicators of these management functions is not fulfilled, then the drought disaster mitigation management carried out by the West Lombok BPBD will not be optimal. Supporting BPBD activities consists of internal factors, namely from BPBD and external factors from communities outside BPBD. The inhibiting factors that hinder BPBD activities are 3 aspects, namely road access to the affected areas is still inadequate, the budget for carrying out activities and equipment for implementing the program is still inadequate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to internalize the Pancasila-religious character through anti-corruption education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. Data sources are taken from credible websites, including Sinta and Google Scholar. The results of this research show that corrupt acts are behavior that deviates from the religion and ideology of Pancasila which is triggered by money-based political issues, weak legislation and sanctions for corruptors, feudalistic views and the luxurious life of state officials, bureaucratic systems and administration that provide loopholes for corrupt behavior, abuse of authority, and the legacy of Dutch colonialism. For this reason, anti-corruption education is needed with the main aim of creating good governance as a form of good, clean and dignified government. The characteristics of good governance are participation of all parties, law-based, transparency, responsiveness, consensus orientation, equality, effectiveness and efficiency, and accountability. Apart from that, special treatment is needed for corruptors, namely deterrent punishments such as taking over all their assets from the state and "impoverishing" the corruptors.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran biasanya dilakukan dengan sistem tatap muka, namun di era digital sekarang, juga bisa dilakukan dengan jarak jauh dengan sistem komunikasi dan model pembelajaran melalui teknologi informasi komunikasi (TIK) namun juga tetap dengan Ahklak yang baik. Akhlak sangat penting untuk kehidupan baik secara pribadi maupun masyarakat, dengan akhlak seseorang dapat menyempurnakan kepribadiannya. Setiap aspek ajaran berorientasi pada pembinaan dan pembentukan akhlak yang mulia. Lembaga Pelatihan dan Kursus adalah satu bentuk satuan pendidikan informal yang diselenggarakan bagi masyarakat yang memerlukan keterampilan mengembangkan diri. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran TIK terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di LPK Mandiri Snur Kabupaten Bogor. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method menggabungkan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Tipe penelitian berupa penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah sampel jenuh berjumlah 97 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Waktu penelitian dari bulan Desember 2022 sampai bulan Mei 2023. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensia dengan regresi linear sederhana. Pada pengaruh model pembelajaran TIK terhadap kualitas pembelajaran indikator daring, luring dan blended learning berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tingkat keterampilan dan kesadaran peserta didik sesuai dengan orientasi peserta didik

Abstract

Program merdeka belajar merupakan salah satu kemajuan dalam kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengkaji tentang gaya komunikasi serta kepemimpinan yang dapat diterapkan oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam optimalisasi dari pelaksanan program merdeka belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka atau study literature terhadap buku, artikel jurnal, dan dokumen penelitian lainnya. Adapun hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa pola komunikasi dan gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat diterapkan untuk membantu dalam memaksimalkan pelaksanaan dari program merdeka belajar. Dalam gaya kepemimpin, maka dapat menerapkan kepemimpinan tranformasional, lalu kepemimpinan demokratis dan manajerial, serta kepemimpinan partisipatif. Sedangkan untuk pola komunikasi, maka dapat menerapkan pola komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi antar pribadi, dan juga komunikasi administratif. Masing-masing dari gaya kepemimpinan dan pola komunikasi ini dapat diterapkan oleh Kepala Sekolah dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi dari sumber daya manusia yang ada di Lembaga pendidikan masing-masing.
