Abstract

For decades, the state of education in Muslim-majority countries has garnered worldwide attention. This literature study was conducted using a bibliometric analysis method adapted from the VOSviewer software to examine the literature on the quality of Islamic education. Data from 500 studies related to this topic were sourced from the Web of Science, spanning the years from 2000 to 2018. The results of the analysis were presented and discussed using various approaches, including authors, keywords, references (cited research articles), types of research work, countries of origin, and research institutions. The research findings indicate that bibliometric analysis proves to be an effective means of elucidating the theoretical foundations within the literature and constructing a comprehensive theoretical framework regarding the quality of Islamic education. Consequently, this study offers valuable recommendations based on the literature review

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the idea of an autonomous learning curriculum at Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City, including everything from planning and implementation to challenges and solutions. This study employs a qualitative methodology. Through observation, documentation, and interviews, data was gathered. Interactive data analysis techniques, as developed by Miles Huberman, were used to analyze the data. The concept of developing and implementing the independent learning curriculum at Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City was found to have been accomplished through two processes: educating all school stakeholders about the four curriculum pillars and setting up the necessary infrastructure, like the e-learning system and Independent Learning Platform, to support the curriculum's implementation. The planning of socialization events, workshops, and technical guidance for the implementation of the independent learning curriculum must continue if Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City are to successfully adopt the independent curriculum.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine the effect of implementing the new ISA 701 regulation, namely communicating the most significant risks in the audit process of an entity's financial statements or known as key audit matters, especially for entities listed on the Indonesian capital market, on changes in audit fee acceptance behavior. This study provides evidence that the greater the audit effort undertaken has an impact on audit fee receipts, as well as its effect on the size of the public accounting firm. This study uses a cross section of 720 data sourced from the publication of the audit results of the 2022 financial statements of companies going public. The test method uses multiple regression to analyze the results by disaggregating the number of KAM paragraphs of less than 2 and more than 2 paragraphs, using disaggregation of audit tenure of less than two years and more than 2 years and disaggregation of company age of less than 19 years and more than 19 years. The study results show that key audit matters and audit firm size have a positive effect on all tests

Abstract

Progress is growing in all aspects of life. This can no longer be avoided. One way to survive in a situation like this is to adapt to the times. Technology is one aspect of modern progress that continues to develop in Social Change, whose presence always fills even the smallest gaps, such as libraries. The use of technology in the field of literacy is increasing as technology continues to develop. This is a challenge for libraries to survive or not with these massive changes. Will libraries be able to take part in these technological advances or vice versa? Social media has become a forum for accessing information, and is very popular among Indonesian people. Apart from being able to access existing information, users can also share any information. Findings from Ipsos state that Indonesia is ranked 2nd in terms of sharing behavior on social media, unfortunately many of them do not understand the dangers of sharing too much privacy on social media, known as oversharing. The role of an institution is very necessary to be able to educate the public about privacy. Institutions that have this potential are libraries

Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction is an important factor in improving the quality of education. This research aims to examine the impact of distributed leadership on teacher job satisfaction. Distributed leadership is an approach where leadership responsibilities are shared among team members, rather than centered on one individual. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The research results show that distributed leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher job satisfaction. Factors that contribute to teacher job satisfaction include participation in decision making, collaboration between teachers, and professional support. In addition, this research found that distributed leadership can improve communication and coordination among team members, which ultimately has a positive impact on teacher job satisfaction. The conclusion of this research is that the application of distributed leadership in the education system can increase teacher job satisfaction. Therefore, educators and school administrators need to consider this approach in managing their teacher teams to create a better work environment and improve the quality of education

Abstract

Since its implementation in China, Test for English Majors-Band 4 (TEM-4) has been used as an authoritative test to test the English ability performance of professional students. The writing part, as a subjective level test, shoulders the effective way of language expression and application of English level test. In this paper, argumentative essays from the fourth major are selected as texts, and their language features and structure are evaluated with the ALP assessment tool, so as to better improve English majors’ ability to write in different genres in the language proficiency test.

Abstract

In order to strengthen the classroom teaching skills training of pre-service music teachers, improve their teaching ability, and fundamentally reverse the employment difficulties of pre-service music teachers. With the help of ADDIE model, this study designed and developed a classroom teaching skills module through five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. A mixed research method was used to analyze the quantitative data using SPSS software, and the effect of the classroom teaching skills module's intervention on pre-service music teachers was investigated through the comparative analysis of the data before and after the experiment. Semi-structured qualitative interviews were then conducted with a smaller sample to further explore and interpret the study. The results of the study revealed that the classroom teaching skills module had a significant effect in improving the teaching skills of pre-service music teachers. The study attempted to reveal ways in which pre-service music teachers' teaching could be reformed to make pre-service music teaching more responsive to the needs and expectations of the times and society

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research is, how to apply learning motivation to PAI learning in integrated Islamic junior high schools in the city of Binjai from an Islamic counseling perspective. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. This research approach uses a phenomonological research approach. This research is classified as a type of field research, where the research objects and studies are carried out in the field. The results of this research are that institutions participate in the implementation of PAI learning, determine special teachers, namely guidance and counseling teachers and teachers who have a mandate to handle the sustainability of planned activities, and all parties in the school are obliged to follow and carry out planned activities.

Abstract

One of Ma'had al-Jami'ah's missions is to produce students adept at reading and correctly writing the Koran. However, the implementation of the Ma'had al-Jami'ah program is still considered not optimal in improving students' skills because there is a gap between the concept of the Tahsin al-Qur'an learning program and the situation that occurs in the field. This research aims to present comprehensive and in-depth information about the evaluation results of the Ma'had al-Jami'ah program in developing students' Tahsin skills. This research uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model evaluation research developed by Stufflebeam. Interviews and document study carried out data collection. The subjects in this research were the Head of the Ma'had Al-Jami'ah Unit, Ma'had Program lecturers, and students. Data analysis uses the Milles and Huberman model. Based on the evaluation carried out on the Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Palopo program. The results were that the IAIN Palopo Ma'had al-Jami'ah Program, in improving students' Tahsin skills, was considered very good overall. With each aspect: 1) the context aspect is in the very good category by meeting four indicators; 2) the input aspect is in the good category by fulfilling three of the four categories; 3) the process aspect meets four indicators, so it is included in the very good category; and 4) product aspects are also in the very good category by meeting three indicators.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze best practice planning for Islamic Religious Education, analyze the implementation of best practice Islamic Religious Education, analyze barriers to implementing best practice Islamic Religious Education, and analyze efforts to overcome barriers to implementing best practice Islamic Religious Education at State Vocational Schools in Labuhanbatu Regency.This research method is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research approach. This research was carried out to build knowledge through understanding and discovery based on a methodology that investigates a phenomenon and problem. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation studies. Data management consists of data reduction, data display/data presentation, data analysis, drawing conclusions for research results.The results of research on best practice planning for Islamic Religious Education at Rantau Utara State Vocational School, Labuhanbatu Regency include curriculum development, development of innovative and interactive teaching methods, training and development of teacher competency, and facilities and infrastructure.Implementation of best practice Islamic Religious Education at Rantau Utara State Vocational School, Labuhanbatu Regency, namely implementing learning with curriculum innovation, IT-based learning innovation, practical media-based learning innovation, and extracurricular supporting activities. In particular, extracurricular activities are further developed through several activities such as tahsin, tahfiz, Islamic Holiday Commemoration activities, and Islamic art.
