Abstract

This study aims to describe employee discipline coaching in the HR, General & Tankug Division at PT XYZ Bandung. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with 11 informants consisting of 1 manager and 10 staff of related divisions. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of discipline coaching is still not optimal, especially in terms of discipline in work hours which are still given high tolerance. The imposition of sanctions has been carried out systematically and consistently, although there is leniency in cases of lateness. The company has also implemented discipline coaching through mental spiritual training (bintal) before the pandemic, which has a positive impact on the emotional stability and mindset of employees. However, this activity is no longer carried out intensively after the pandemic. Conclusion, that it is necessary to re-evaluate the implementation of disciplinary rules to be more effective in forming disciplined and responsible work behavior.  Keywords: Discipline Coaching, Physical Work Environment, Organizational Commitment

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of fintech payment, financial literacy, and parental income on financial management behavior among Generation Z students at Jenderal Achmad Yani University (UNJANI). In the era of globalization marked by rapid technological advances, students' financial behavior is becoming increasingly important, especially for the technology-savvy generation. This study identifies the challenges faced by students in managing their finances, such as impulsive spending and lack of financial planning skills, despite support from parents. Quantitative methods were used by collecting data through questionnaires from 100 students. The results of the analysis showed that fintech payment and financial literacy had a significant positive effect on financial management behavior, while parental income did not show a significant effect. The resulting regression model explained 55.4% of the variance in financial management behavior. This study emphasizes the importance of increasing financial literacy and the use of responsible fintech services to improve financial management behavior among students. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and work motivation on employee work productivity in the stamping section production department of PT. XYZ. The research method used is a quantitative approach based on the philosophy of positivism, involving 35 employee respondents and 1 manager as a direct superior. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a semantic differential scale, and the data was analyzed with the help of the SPSS version 27 program through validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, and classical assumption tests. The results of the community service show that training is quite effective, with the trainer qualification sub-variable getting the highest score, while the training method is the lowest. Work motivation is relatively low, with responsibility as the highest sub-variable and recognition as the lowest. Work productivity is in the sufficient category, based on the assessment of the direct superior. Partially, training has a significant positive effect on work productivity, while work motivation does not have a significant effect. However, simultaneously, training and work motivation together affect work productivity. The conclusion of this activity shows that increasing the effectiveness of training and work motivation strategically can be the key to increasing employee productivity in the industrial work environment.  Keywords: Training, Work Motivation, Productivity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of discipline coaching and occupational safety and health (K3) on employee job satisfaction in the Stamping Division of Production Section-1 of PT. XYZ. The approach used is quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 76 employees who have worked for at least one year. Data measurement uses a semantic differential scale, and analysis is carried out through validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and partial tests. The results of the study indicate that all instruments are valid (r_count > r_table 0.1901) and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.60). Descriptively, discipline coaching is in the "quite good" category (mean 3.395), K3 is in the "good" category (mean 3.47), and job satisfaction is in the "quite satisfied" category (mean 3.37). Regression tests show that discipline coaching (β = 0.402) and K3 (β = 0.922) have a positive effect on job satisfaction, with a contribution of 75.1% (R² = 0.751). Partial test shows that both independent variables significantly affect job satisfaction (sig < 0.05). Conclusion, that discipline and K3 coaching play an important role in increasing employee job satisfaction.  Keywords: Discipline Coaching, Occupational Safety and Health, Job Satisfaction, Employees

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the work productivity of sorting department employees at PT Lestari Mahaputra Buana. The research method used is a quantitative method with a literature study approach and field study through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population and sample in this study were all sorting department employees totaling 34 people. The data obtained were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear regression, t-test, and f-test. The results showed that the research instrument was valid and reliable. The regression test showed that partially work motivation did not have a significant effect on work productivity (t count = 0.029; sig = 0.977> 0.05), while work discipline had a significant effect (t count = 5.069; sig = 0.000 <0.05). Simultaneously, work motivation and work discipline together have a significant effect on work productivity (Fcount = 13.804; sig = 0.000 <0.05) with a coefficient of determination of 47.1%. The conclusion of this study is that work productivity is significantly influenced by work discipline, while work motivation does not provide a significant effect partially.  Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Work Productivity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work stress on employee performance at PT XYZ West Java. The research method used is a quantitative approach with descriptive and associative design. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 34 respondents who are the total population of company employees. Data analysis was carried out using validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression tests with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the study showed that work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, while work stress has a negative effect. Simultaneously, these two variables have a significant effect on employee performance, with an R-Square value of 33.6%. The conclusion of this study is that increasing work motivation and good work stress management can improve employee performance at PT XYZ West Java.  Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Stress, Employee Performance, PT XYZ

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of transformational leadership in enhancing employee motivation and performance at the Work Unit Office of PPK O&P SDA IV Bojonegoro from an Islamic perspective. In the context of government organizations, the role of leaders is crucial in shaping employee performance and achieving organizational goals. Transformational leadership is known for its ability to inspire, motivate, and stimulate employees to exceed predetermined targets. The Islamic perspective emphasizes that good leadership is based on values of justice, honesty, and responsibility. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with employees and leaders at the Work Unit Office of PPK O&P SDA IV Bojonegoro, as well as direct observation of organizational dynamics. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to examine the relationship between transformational leadership style and the level of employee motivation and performance. The findings indicate that the implementation of transformational leadership at the Work Unit Office of PPK O&P SDA IV Bojonegoro enhances employee motivation through individual empowerment, the establishment of a clear vision, and the provision of inspiration that drives the achievement of shared goals. High motivation leads to improved employee performance, making them more productive and creative in completing their tasks. In conclusion, the application of transformational leadership from an Islamic perspective significantly enhances employee motivation and performance..  Keywords: Leadership, Transformational, Motivation, Islam

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Batam City Manpower Supervision UPT. Using a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 70 respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and Likert scale questionnaires. The validity and reliability of the instrument were tested using the construct validity and composite reliability methods with the help of Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results showed that all variables had very good validity and reliability, with outer loading values> 0.6, composite reliability> 0.600, and no collinearity problems (VIF <5.00). Hypothesis testing showed that work motivation (p = 0.037) and work discipline (p = 0.000) had a significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline had the most dominant influence on performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening motivation and discipline in order to improve the performance of civil servants in the employment sector.  Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Employee Performance, PLS-SEM

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the implementation of the additional employee income policy in the Yalimo Regency Government. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, data collection through interviews at the Jayawijaya Police. A total of 9 informants were selected as key informants. In conclusion, the implementation of the TPP in the Yalimo Regency Government has been carried out in accordance with the procedures and in accordance with the TPP policy, namely Perbup Yalimo No. 4 / 2022 and the Regulation of the Minister of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia No. 65 / 2020. The classification of Additional Employee Income (TPP) in Yalimo Regency is in accordance with the standards for determining job classes that have been set by the government. Control and supervision in the form of sanctions for cutting TPP are ineffective because Perbub Yalimo No. 7/2023 itself does not regulate in detail the sanctions for employees who violate discipline with absence values ​​​​that do not meet the criteria, as a result, this policy weakens other policies, namely Article 11 number 1 of Perbup Yalimo No. 7/2023 concerning the Provision of TPP for ASN in the Yalimo Regency Government Environment. Factors that influence the implementation of additional employee income policies in the Yalimo Regency Government. 1) Human resources, financial resources and supporting resources including facilities and infrastructure have a very large influence on the implementation of additional employee income policies. 2) Disposition in the form of attention from actors or policy implementers in the form of providing incentives or rewards for policy implementers who excel greatly influences the implementation of additional employee income policies in the Yalimo Regency Government. 3) A large bureaucratic structure with a large number of employees and no clarity of duties, this causes waste and decreases performance, but employees have a good level of cooperation.  Keywords: Policy Implementation, Additional Employee Income

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of training and development, job satisfaction, and compensation on employee retention. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires as a data collection technique. The sampling method used is a census sampling technique, with a total of 87 respondents who are employees of PT Kuangyu Motors. The data analysis technique involves multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, whereas training and development, as well as compensation, do not have a significant impact on employee retention at PT Kuangyu Motors.  Keywords: Training And Development, Job Satisfaction, Compensation, Employee Retention
