Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model IOC dan kelas kontrol yang mengikuti metode pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 3,904 melebihi nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,667 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,005. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa model IOC berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan pembelajaran ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan interaksi, partisipasi aktif, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini mendukung keefektifan model pembelajaran berbasis interaksi sosial dalam pendidikan agama untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Oleh karena itu, model IOC direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah .

Abstract

The enhancement of educational institution standards has emerged as a primary concern in the field of education, with the effectiveness of teachers being a crucial element in achieving successful learning outcomes. This study intends to assess teacher effectiveness through the lens of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to elevate educational quality. A qualitative approach using a case study methodology has been utilized for this investigation. Participants involved in this research consist of educators and administrative staff from schools. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, while the data processing was guided by the interactive model created by Miles and Huberman. The findings of this research show that context evaluation uncovers various obstacles within the educational setting, particularly issues around discipline and the preparedness of teachers to instruct effectively. Input evaluation stresses the necessity of ongoing professional development to improve both the pedagogical skills and professional abilities of teachers. Process evaluation indicates that creative teaching approaches and effective classroom management are integral to enhancing learning quality. Product evaluation suggests that well-organized assessments of teacher performance have a favorable influence on the overall educational quality. The recommendations arising from this research underscore the importance of establishing more robust institutional policies to foster teacher development, the regular updating of the CIPP evaluation framework, and the need for intensified training tailored to contemporary educational demands.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to develop collaborative learning innovations of the Small Group Discussion type to improve communication skills among students at MA Ma'arif Sukorejo. This study uses a qualitative case study research type using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study are that at MA Ma'arif Sukorejo schools often experience challenges related to the lack of communication skills among students. This is usually a way for a teacher to convey material by talking more and students only listening. So that the collaborative learning model of the Small Group Discussion type can help students in the learning process to be more efficient and not monotonous, cooperation carried out by students can bind the bonds of unity, responsibility, students can exchange information and experiences in solving problems, students can gain more knowledge and experience from the activities they do.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is not easy, there are so many obstacles faced by students. The study intends to identify the problems of students in memorizing the Qur'an and provide solutions to make the memorization process easier. This study was conducted at the Raudlatul Fatah Puspan Maron Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School, by implementing qualitative research and a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were conducted with several students and ustads at the Raudlatul Fatah Puspan Maron Islamic Boarding School. The study findings suggest that the problems of students memorizing the Qur'an were internal (internal) and external (external) problems, for example internal problems are 1) Laziness in students 2) difficulty in managing time 3) and lack of concentration, while external problems are 1) environmental influences 2) busy activities 3) lack of support from the family also greatly influences students 4) peer factors. From various problems that exist, researchers provide solutions to handle the problems of students memorizing the Qur'an by fighting laziness with motivation, providing easy methods. And finally, evaluation to find out the development of students' memorization. The conclusion is that students face problems from internal and external factors, and are given solutions to overcome problems and also provide strong methods to strengthen memorization such as the talaqqi, takrir, murojaah methods. and evaluation is carried out through routine tahsin, murojaah and munaqosya exams every year.

Abstract

Problems in the world of education often occur today. One of them is violence committed by teachers as a reasonable punishment. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the characteristics of professional teacher competence according to Imam Al-Ghazali in the book Ihya ‘Ulumuddin. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research based on the translation of the book Ihya’ Ulumiddin and various types of references such as books, journals, and articles that are relevant to the research being conducted. The results of this study show the characteristics of professional teacher competence according to Imam Al-Ghazali in the book Ihya ‘Ulumiddin including: First, giving affection to his students. Second, emulating the Prophet. Third, not leaving advice to his students. Fourth, teaching in a gentle way. Fifth, not demeaning other knowledge. Sixth, conveying understanding according to the level of understanding of his students. Seventh, conveying material clearly. Eighth, practicing his knowledge. In addition, there are several factors that influence the professional competence of teachers, including academic qualifications, teaching experience, training and motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to document the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu City using the Bil Qolam technique and identify the factors that influence its success. The approach applied is qualitative with a case study method. Research techniques include document analysis in the form of student tahfidz reading data, observation, and in-depth interviews with students, mentors, and tahfidz coordinators. The findings reveal that the program's implementation involves stages like Deepening Understanding of the Qur'an (PPQ), Bin Nadzor, and tahfidz. Supporting factors include the method's simplicity, competent teachers with clear sanad, student motivation, and dynamic class models. Challenges include maintaining student consistency, managing academic burdens, ensuring reading and memorization accuracy, and preserving memorization quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the brainstorming method in learning and improving the understanding of tenth grade students of MAN 2 Jepara Language on the material of hadith elements. The main challenge of this study is that students have difficulty understanding complex hadith material that is relevant to everyday life, not only that, students' public speaking skills are also still lacking. The brainstorming method is believed to be able to improve students' understanding and motivation to learn and improve public speaking, because it encourages their active participation in discussions to express opinions, generate ideas, and relate the material to personal experiences. In this study, the researcher conducted a study using the classroom action research (CAR) methodology using the initial test instrument, namely the pre-test and ending with a comprehensive post-test (quasi-experiment). The researcher selected a sample using the purposive sampling technique, which was studied was class X Language MAN 2 Jepara. Using the statistical t test (difference test) using SPSS 23.0 software in analyzing the data. The results showed that there was an increase in the average value of the pre-test and post-test from 61.8519 to 76.8519. The implementation of the brainstorming learning method has proven effective in improving student understanding based on pre-test and post-test scores.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) on the topic of Aqil Baligh by using the Sing a Song learning method. The research was conducted at SDN Sumberejo II with the subjects being 18 fourth-grade students. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, where in the pre-action stage using conventional lecture methods, the percentage of completeness only reached 33.3% (6 students). In Cycle I, with the implementation of the Sing a Song method, the percentage of completeness increased to 61.1% (11 students), and in Cycle II, with the development of group song creation activities, the percentage of completeness reached 94.4% (17 students). This study concludes that the Sing a Song method, combined with group activities in creating songs, is effective in enhancing students' understanding of the Aqil Baligh material while also developing their creativity and collaboration skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social, moral and religious character values ​​in the implementation of congregational prayers at SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted in January - February 2025. The subjects of the study were 6 teachers, 20 students, and 5 guardians. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the study refer to Miles Huberman's theory, namely data reduction, data display and data conclusion. The results of the study show that congregational prayers at SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota have been implemented well and run optimally. The implementation of congregational prayers at SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota can strengthen social, moral and character values ​​in students, namely the values ​​of social concern and social solidarity between students; foster values ​​of tolerance and cooperation between students; values ​​of discipline, fostering deep obedience and compliance when performing congregational prayers; Cultivating religious values, namely as a center for social preaching and increasing faith and devotion to God Almighty and instilling the values ​​of akhlakul kharimah in students. Abstract

The development of professional teacher characteristics is a key factor in improving the quality of education. This article analyzes the strategies, challenges, and implications of teacher professional development based on Jean Piaget's perspective. Piaget's cognitive development theory provides a foundation for understanding how teachers can adapt teaching methods to the developmental stages of students. In this study, various strategies are applied to improve teacher competence, including pedagogical training oriented towards students' cognitive development, experiential learning, and critical reflection on teaching practices. However, there are challenges such as limited access to quality training, resistance to changes in learning methods, and lack of institutional support. This article also discusses the implications of the development of professional teacher characteristics for improving the quality of education, especially in creating a learning environment that is in accordance with students' developmental needs. By understanding and applying Piaget's principles, teachers can be more effective in guiding students towards deeper and more meaningful understanding. In compiling this article, we used a qualitative method by taking a literature approach, namely by collecting as many reference sources as possible and taking data from references related to the title that the author raised. This article aims to examine effective strategies in building professional teacher characteristics, identify challenges that arise in the implementation process, and analyze the implications of improving the quality of education based on Jean Piaget's perspective
