Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in improving mathematics learning achievement of fifth grade students at MI Negeri 7 Demak and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation methods. Interviews were conducted with teachers, principals, and two students with different achievements. Participatory observation was conducted in class, and data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model and thematic analysis. The results of the study indicate that teachers have an important role as motivators, facilitators, and evaluators. Teachers apply varied learning strategies, provide ongoing motivation, and carry out systematic evaluations to increase students' interest and understanding of mathematical concepts. Individual approaches and the use of innovative learning methods have also proven effective in improving student achievement. However, this study identified obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure and high administrative burdens on teachers. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that optimizing the role of teachers can be achieved through increasing competence, supporting facilities, and collaboration between teachers, students, and parents as the main steps in improving students' mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

A key component of building a flexible and fiercely competitive business is the role of human resource development (HRD). The purpose of this study is to describe several tactics that must be used when performing training and development of human resources, as well as to identify elements that influence HRD development in an organization. This study specifically seeks to ascertain (a.) The intent and purpose of having human resources (b.) A number of items pertaining to human resource development and training. The author's research methodology in this study is descriptive qualitative, and data is gathered through literature reviews that are collected from reliable websites, books, journals, interviews, and documents. The findings of this investigation The study's findings show that the interaction of internal and external factors has a significant impact on the success of HRD development. Among these, enhancing the caliber and potential of HRD requires strong leadership, dedication to training and growth, and flexibility in response to technology advancements. In addition to offering suggestions for stakeholders to foster an atmosphere that encourages expansion and creativity in HRD development, this study offers organizations valuable information for developing sustainable HRD development plans.

Abstract

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at examining the planning, implementation, and results of improving students' Arabic vocabulary mastery using ANIME (Animation Learning Media). The subjects of the study were 17 students from class XI.A at MA Muhammadiyah Limbung. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The data analysis techniques employed were qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted over two cycles. The findings revealed effective collaboration between the researcher and the teacher during the planning phase of the lessons, as well as increased teacher and student activities during the implementation of the lessons in each meeting. Moreover, based on the final test results, the students' average scores improved from 77.12 in the first cycle to 90.29 in the second. This indicates an improvement in students' Arabic vocabulary mastery by 13.17 points. Therefore, it can be concluded that ANIME (Animation Learning Media) can enhance students' Arabic vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a preliminary investigation on the development of a spice plant booklet used in traditional Pariaman cuisine as a supplementary learning resource for Biology in Phase E. Data were collected through initial observations regarding the potential use of the booklet in the learning process. The study was conducted to assess the relevance of the information in the booklet to Biology topics, particularly biodiversity and the benefits of spice plants. The results, based on a survey of students, indicated that 88.6% of the learners primarily use textbooks as learning sources, showing a lack of variation in learning media. This highlights the need for media that can facilitate students' understanding of biodiversity. Additionally, 90.9% of students strongly agreed with the development of a spice plant booklet containing local potential. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the development of a spice plant booklet for traditional Pariaman cuisine is necessary as a supplementary tool for Biology learning in Phase E.

Abstract

Efficient inventory management is a primary need in an educational environment. SMK PGRI Pekanbaru, as one of the vocational high schools in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, still records borrowing and returning and inventory reporting conventionally. This study uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology with an Iterative model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and development. This system provides various functions, such as recording inventory items, borrowing, returning and borrowing history reports. Testing was carried out through alpha and beta tests, where the results of the alpha test showed that the system was running well or valid. Meanwhile, the beta test involving expert validation obtained an average score of 89.54% with a very good category, while user validation showed an average result of 95.46%, also with a very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that this asset management information system is feasible to use. The results of the study indicate that this system can improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory management, simplify the borrowing process and loan reports, and increase transparency through features that allow reports to be accessed by managers and supervisors. It is expected that this system will be an effective solution in improving inventory management at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) in education play a crucial role in the success of educational implementation. The urgency of HR in education arises alongside increasing demands for higher quality education in the era of globalization. Improving human resource (HR) performance is the key to the success of any organization, including in the field of education. At SDIT Al-Manar in Bekasi City, it is important to understand how self-leadership can become a major factor in achieving optimal performance for educators. This study aims to analyze the role of self-leadership in the performance behavior of Human Resources (HR) at SDIT Al-Manar, Bekasi City. In the era of globalization and technological advancements, the demand for quality education is increasing, making HR development in education crucial. This research focuses on how self-leadership possessed by teachers and educational staff can enhance their performance. It is a long-term investment that is vital for improving education quality, analyzing several challenges such as limited budgets, lack of support from leadership, and lack of intrinsic motivation, while offering strategies to address these obstacles. Additionally, the study proposes some concrete solutions to improve HR management in education. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach at SDIT Al-Manar. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that self-leadership plays a significant role in shaping positive performance behavior, as reflected in the improvement of competence, professionalism, and adaptability to changes in the educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of Kahoot interactive media in increasing student learning motivation at SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. The subjects in this study were students of class XII IIS 3 SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara in the 2024/2025 academic year with a total of 35 students. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in the application of Kahoot interactive media on student learning motivation, starting from the pre-action stage by 40%, at the cycle I stage by 65%, and at the cycle II stage by 92%. Therefore, interactive learning media in the form of Kahoot is very influential in increasing student learning motivation because students will learn in a fun way so that it can involve student activity in the learning process, increase interaction between students and teachers, involve student emotions, and students can show their satisfaction in the learning process so that they have the awareness to continue to improve their learning process and increase their insight.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh digolongkan sebagai sekolah yang sedang berkembang. Namun, sekolah ini menghadapi beberapa tantangan, terutama dalam hal promosi. Saat ini, promosi sekolah hanya dilakukan melalui brosur yang disebar di sekitar daerah tersebut, yang dinilai kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media atau sarana yang lebih efektif dan efisien untuk menyebarkan informasi kepada publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah pihak sekolah, guru, siswa, dan masyarakat sekitar dalam mencari informasi terkait SMK Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh.Penelitian Perancangan Sistem Informasi Sekolah Berbasis web di SMK Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Iletative sebagai penelitiannya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian Alpha (Pengujian black box dan white box) dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh hasil pengujian baik dan pengujian Alpha berhasil. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil pengujian beta pada validasi tenaga ahli memperoleh hasil sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai 92,19% dan nilai rata-rata pertanyaan survei pengguna adalah 88,89% sangat baik.

Abstract

In the study of computer science, the use of learning aids is important. In Class X MPLB SMKN 3 Padang, information was obtained that there were several obstacles in the Computer Science learning process. These obstacles include the limited use of teaching materials, the materials used are only sourced from the internet and sometimes use presentation media. The research goal that is expected to be achieved by designing Android-based learning media for computer science subjects is to create valuable and practical learning media. This research method uses research and development (RD) methods. The results of the research The validity of the media content was 80.36% with the category "very valid", so it can be concluded that android-based learning media is suitable for use in the learning process by teachers and students. The results of the teacher's practice obtained a score of 95.14% with the category of "very practical", and from the practice of students obtained a score of 86.11% with the category of "very practical", so from the results of the responses of teachers and students it can be concluded that android-based educational media is suitable for use in the learning process at school.

Abstract

Masa anak-anak merupakan masa rasa ingin tahunya tinggi sehingga selalu mencari tahu hal-hal baru yang membuat anak-anak pensaran tanpa memikirkan konsekuensinya. Seringkali, jika kita berada di tempat umum akan menemukan peristiwa dimana anak akan menangis, berteriak, hingga menghentakkan dan menendang kakinya jika sesuatu hal tidak terwujud. Tantrum merupakan salah satu masalah yang terjadi pada spek perkembangan emosional anak, dimana anak tidak bisa mengontrol emosinya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Play Therapy merupakan salah satu proses terapi yang diberikan kepada klien dengan cara bermain sehingga klien atau anak akan lebih senang saat menjalankan terapi tersebut. Adapun tiga tahapan pelaksanaan play therapy yaitu (1) rancangan treatment; (2) pelaksanaan treatment; dan (3) evaluasi treatment. Dalam menunjang pelaksanaan play therapy terdapat beberapa metode yaitu: (1) Permainan boneka; (2) bercerita; (3) kotak pasir; dan (4) menggambar. Play therapy diharapkan menjadi penerapan yang tepat untuk mengatasi sikap tantrum.
