Abstract

In an increasingly competitive era of globalization, interest in entrepreneurship has become an important factor in creating jobs and driving economic growth. This study aims to determine the influence of 1) love of money, 2) family environment, and 3) self-efficacy on interest in entrepreneurship. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population for this study consists of 253 students from the Economics Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, graduating classes of 2021 and 2022. The sampling technique employed proportional stratified random sampling. The sample size for this study was 155 students. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that (1) love of money had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial interest with a significance value of 0.005, (2) family environment with a significance value of 0.000, (3) self-efficacy had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial interest with a significance value of 0.010.

Abstract

This study ventures into uncovering the transformative currents of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model in igniting student enthusiasm and enhancing their academic performance in Economics. At its core, TSTS weaves cooperative learning magic by pairing students where two adventurers “stray” into other groups to gather fresh insights, while their “stay” partners hold the fort, ready to swap and absorb new ideas. The inspiration for this study blooms from witnessing yawning participation gaps and underwhelming academic scores, symptoms often rooted in the stale terrain of traditional, teacher-led, and passive classrooms. Using a quasi-experimental blueprint, this exploration unfolds through a pretest-posttest control group setup, aiming to capture the true power of TSTS in action, with purposive sampling designating class X E1 as the intervention cohort and X E3 as the comparison unit at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Tarab. Instruments for data gathering included engagement perception scales and standardized assessments of learning, with statistical evaluation performed via independent sample t-tests. The empirical findings underscore a notable efficacy of the TSTS model in amplifying student attentiveness and scholastic performance when contrasted with traditional didactic techniques. These outcomes advocate for the integration of interactive and student-centered teaching paradigms to enhance the dynamism of the educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning activities of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 07 Bengkulu City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques by conducting observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses learning activity assessment criteria such as excellent, good, sufficient, less and calculates whether or not there is an increase in student learning activities with the t test.  Based on the results of the study, it is evident from the results of Cycle I that the average student learning activity is only 26.29 with sufficient criteria and the results of Cycle II that the average student learning activity increased to 33.87 with good criteria and the results of the analysis that has been carried out using the t test at a significant level and degrees of freedom 30 show that t count = 6.01 ? t table 1.697 means that there is a significant increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase student learning activities. The implications may include how this model can improve student learning activities. Recommendations may suggest training for teachers on the use of this model, or further research to test its activities on different groups of students.

Abstract

In today's Times full of opportunities and obstacles, entrepreneurial motivation is an important component of successful entrepreneurial development. This study aims to analyze how the role of entrepreneurial creativity serves as a moderator variable against entrepreneurial motivation among millennials in Makassar (Tamalanrea district) by analyzing the role of growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support. The research methodology used is descriptive research combined with quantitative research methods. A total of 317 millennials in the city of Makassar became a sample of the study. Analysis of the data using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results obtained are growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support have a direct and significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation. Entrepreneurial creativity has a significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation. Growth mindset, self-efficacy, and social support significantly influence entrepreneurial creativity. Entrepreneurial creativity was able to mediate the relationship of growth mindset to entrepreneurial motivation, and mediate the relationship of self-efficacy and social support to entrepreneurial motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the lived experiences of alumni from SMK Mambaul Ulum Sukowono in navigating the dynamics of the digital economy through their engagement in the gig economy. The central research problem lies in how their participation is shaped by digital skill gaps, limited institutional support, and the absence of legal protection within platform-based work environments. Using a qualitative case study approach under the interpretivist paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving 25 alumni engaged in various forms of gig work, such as ride-hailing, graphic design, and online selling. Findings reveal that while alumni are primarily motivated by time flexibility and immediate income, they also face significant challenges including income instability, algorithmic dependency, and emotional strain. The study concludes that vocational curriculum reform and targeted policy interventions are crucial to support economic resilience and youth labor welfare in the digital era.

Abstract

Raw material inventory is a vital component in the production process, especially in manufacturing industries such as PT Bakrie Pipe Industries, which specializes in steel pipe production. The main issue faced by the company is the suboptimal control of raw material inventory for the Non API.KT 24 specification steel pipe product, resulting in cost inefficiencies and unstructured ordering. This study aims to determine the optimal order quantity and total inventory cost using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. A quantitative approach was used, based on data of annual demand, ordering cost, and holding cost obtained from the company. The results indicate that the optimal order quantity (EOQ) is 43,577,128 kilograms per year. Based on this quantity, the total inventory cost incurred by the company is Rp14,402,700,962 per year. These findings demonstrate that the EOQ method effectively assists the company in minimizing inventory costs and improving raw material management efficiency. This study recommends that the EOQ model be consistently implemented as part of the company’s inventory management strategy.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in strengthening the regional economy, particularly through the development of small and medium industries (SMIs). One sector that contributes significantly is the getah nyatu handicraft industry and have high potential in fostering a sustainable economy. This study aims to analyze the interest of students from the Economics Education program at FKIP UPR in entrepreneurship, specifically in the getah nyatu handicraft sector within SMI Pandji Palangka Raya. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The findings indicate that students' interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by several key factors, including education, social environment, institutional support, skills, and personal motivation. It was found that although students possess a good theoretical understanding of entrepreneurship, they still face challenges such as lack of practical experience, limited access to training, and a gap between the theory learned and market needs. Effective strategies for fostering students' entrepreneurial interest include entrepreneurship education and training, integration between educational institutions and local industries, as well as more optimal policy support from the government and academics. By implementing these strategies, students are expected to be better prepared to develop creative businesses based on local resources, thereby contributing to sustainable regional economic growth

Abstract

Teachers play a significant role in education because a teacher can assist learning so that students gain experiences and skills that can develop their potential. However, based on data from the 2023 Accounting Education tracer study, only 18.8% of students work in the education field. This study aims to determine the relationship between the interest in becoming an accounting teacher and students' perceptions of the teaching profession, self-efficacy, academic achievement, and perceptions of the PPG program. The population of this study consists of Accounting Education students from FEB UNESA, class of 2021, totaling 73 students. The sample in this study uses saturated sampling, which includes all members of the population. This research is limited to only four factors that are suspected to influence the interest in becoming an accounting teacher. The data analysis technique using SPSS include data quality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings of this study indicate that students' interest in becoming accounting teachers is influenced by their perception of the teaching profession, self-efficacy, and academic achievement. Furthermore, students' perceptions of the teaching profession, self-efficacy, academic achievement, and perceptions of the PPG program simultaneously affect their interest in becoming accounting teachers.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of Financial Technology (Fintech) on the consumptive behavior of teenagers in rural areas, specifically in Desa Cumedak, Kecamatan Sumberjambe, Kabupaten Jember. The study is motivated by the increasing use of digital financial services among adolescents, facilitated by easy access through e-wallets and paylater features. This study used a quantitative approach. The research method used was a survey. The sample included 110 respondents aged 15 to 24.. Data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially using path analysis to examine the direct and indirect effects of Fintech usage, with digital lifestyle as an intervening variable and financial literacy as a moderating variable. The findings indicate that frequent use of Fintech correlates with a higher tendency toward impulsive and unplanned consumption among rural teenagers. The study implies the need to integrate digital financial literacy into school curricula and youth empowerment programs at the community level.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, contributing significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and job creation. However, in the digital era, many MSMEs face challenges in adopting effective digital marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the relationship between digital marketing strategies and MSME revenue growth in East Java. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey method involving 139 MSME entrepreneurs. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the impact of digital marketing elements, such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising, on MSME revenue growth in East Java. The findings reveal that digital marketing strategies have a positive and significant impact on MSME revenue growth (p < 0.05). Social media emerged as the most dominant factor in driving revenue growth, followed by SEO and paid advertising. The discussion highlights that MSME entrepreneurs in East Java who actively utilize social media tend to achieve a broader market reach and enhanced customer loyalty. The study concludes that the effective adoption of digital marketing strategies can enhance MSME competitiveness in the digital era. This study recommends improving digital literacy among MSME entrepreneurs in East Java through intensive training and mentoring programs to optimize the use of digital platforms. By doing so, MSMEs can leverage digital technology to support sustainable growth.
