Abstract

Bookkeeping is one of the activities in financial management in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as an effort to improve the quality of financial reporting. The low quality of MSME financial reporting impacts other problems, such as reduced productivity and constraints on other MSME business processes. MSMEs experience this in Parung Serab Village, Tangerang. Parung Serab MSMEs experienced a decline in productivity due to a need for more consistency in reporting and financial management. Moreover, due to inconsistent financial management, MSMEs cannot open up and improve their finances, resulting in losses. Due to this problem, the team serves the community by assisting in simple bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel tools. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of MSME financial reporting through simple bookkeeping using a mentoring approach. This qualitative study uses data about the problems faced by MSMEs collected through an interview process. The subjects of this assistance are 15 MSMEs in Parung Serab, Ciledug. The result of this assistance is that with simple bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel format, MSMEs in Parung Serab have succeeded in maintaining consistency in financial management and reporting. This assistance means that by maintaining consistency in financial management, the quality of financial management and reporting and the productivity of MSMEs will increase.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis buku antologi di kalangan guru Sekolah Dasar mencapai rata-rata hanya sekitar 20%, menggambarkan ketimpangan yang signifikan dengan program literasi-numerasi saat ini. Untuk mengatasi ketimpangan ini, pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dirancang dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis para guru melalui penerapan model In-On-In, yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan tanya jawab, sharing experience, dan workshop. Penilaian penguasaan materi peserta dilakukan melalui pre dan post test. Pre dan post test digunakan untuk menilai penguasaan materi peserta dengan hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta. Meskipun variasi terlihat dari deviasi standar yang meningkat, korelasi yang rendah antara pre-test dan post-test, serta ketiadaan signifikansi, menandakan dampak yang bervariasi pada peserta. Namun, secara statistik, pelatihan berhasil secara konsisten meningkatkan kemampuan peserta. Implikasinya adalah perlunya dukungan berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan keterampilan menulis bagi guru Sekolah Dasar, dengan fokus pada model pelatihan yang terbukti efektif dan penggunaan metode yang menggugah interaksi dan keterlibatan peserta. Konsekuensinya, mendesak untuk memperoleh dukungan kontinyu dalam pembinaan keterampilan menulis guru Sekolah Dasar, mengutamakan penerapan model pelatihan yang terbukti efektif serta mendorong penggunaan metode yang merangsang interaksi dan keterlibatan peserta secara maksimal. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis guru, menekankan pentingnya upaya berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan literasi guru guna mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penguatan Usaha Mikro (UM) merupakan upaya strategis dalam peningkatan ekonomi daerah. Program Pengabdian berbasis Kemitraan Universitas Masyarakat (KUM) pada Mata Kuliah Kewirausahaan ini menjadi salah satu bagian dari upaya penguatan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis peran pentahelix collaboration dan desa model dalam penguatan usaha mikro berkelanjutan berbasis service learning (SL). Metodologi yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu Service Learning (SL). Sebagai sebuah metode instruksional belajar yang mengkombinasikan antara teori di kelas dengan pengalaman di komunitas/lapangan, SL mempunyai karakteristik resiprokal dan epistemic (berbasis keilmuan). SL dimulai dari tahapan pra implementasi, implementasi dan pasca implementasi untuk menjawab luaran dan target dari enam program penguatan usaha mikro di Desa Tirta Mulya. Pencapaian luaran dan target tersebut juga sejalan dengan upaya percepatan pencapaian pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/ SDGs) bidang ekonomi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu beberapa bentuk upaya penguatan usaha mikro yang dapat dilakukan melalui Kolaborasi program kerja dengan Desa. Pelibatan Desa Model secara holistik sangat menentukan keberhasilan pencapaian target program kegiatan dalam upaya penguatan usaha mikro. Keterlibatan secara aktif mahasiswa peserta Service Learning pada Mata Kuliah Kewirausahaan juga semakin menjadikan peran perguruan tinggi sebagai problem solver masyarakat, lebih mudah dicapai.

Abstract

Making unique handicrafts using shells in Sarang Burung Danau Village aims to process marine waste which can be used as a creative medium for PKK mothers, increasing creativity, soft skills and an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This activity is focused on making unique craft items using shells as the main material, stimulating creativity and economic empowerment in the village. This initiative involves collaboration between students from various universities involved in KKN Kebangsaan 2023 activities and the local community, emphasizing the exchange of knowledge, skills and cultural experiences. The method for this service activity is to conduct a workshop which directs the training participants to practice directly making handicrafts by following the work steps. Through workshops and hands-on activities, participants explore innovative craft-making techniques while using natural resources responsibly. With this type of qualitative research, the results of this activity are a source of pride for the community, creating economic opportunities and preserving traditional skills. The products produced include pencil cases, wall hangings, mirror frames and miniature birds. The aim of this research is to encourage environmental awareness by emphasizing the sustainable use of shellfish resources. The implication of this research is that it can encourage the use of local resources, in this case shellfish, more effectively. This can help reduce pressure on the environment and promote sustainable practices in the use of natural resources.

Abstract

Heifer and sow pig farms in Golo Wua village are experiencing problems in managing reproductive health. To overcome this problem, the community service team from the Indonesian Catholic University Santu Paulus Ruteng conducted outreach using the lecture method directly for breeders using qualitative research. Data collection methods were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The target of this extension activity is pig farmers, especially those raising heifers and sows. This counseling was carried out at the Golo Wua village hall and was attended by 33 breeders. The results of the outreach activities showed that participants' knowledge regarding reproductive health management for heifers and sows increased after attending the outreach. Therefore, counseling is the right method to increase pig breeders' understanding in overcoming problems related to the reproductive health of heifers and sows. The implications of this research are improving animal reproductive health and optimizing productivity. The main objective of this research is to increase farmer awareness about the importance of reproductive health in gilts and sows. This involves education about the reproductive cycle, signs of good reproductive health, and the impact of management practices on animal reproductive health.

Abstract

Community service activities in the national combination program were conducted in Waqf Village, Sukaratu Village, and Majasari Pandeglang District, targeting partner groups of opak food craftsmen and waqf farmer groups. The problem with fostered partners is that no one needs to be able to implement business management, online marketing, or apply innovative technology in standard production processes. Community service in the national service program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of fostered partners in implementing business management, online-based marketing, and technological innovation in the production process. Activity methods include the socialization of national programs, the application of technology in the production process, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of this activity show that the two fostered partners can apply business management, online marketing (e-commerce), and the application of packaging technology with nitrogen injection as well as the application of production with solar dome dryers to dry opaque patches, which is very helpful during the rainy season, can still production. There was an increase in the business of the two fostered partners to reach 80%.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah sumber belajar yang menarik. Masih banyak kendala yang ditemukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah sumber belajar yang optimal yaitu keberadaan buku ajar sebagai penunjang lancarnya proses pembelajaran dikelas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan buku ajar digital sesuai dengan isi kurikulum Merdeka. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Model pendekatan yang diterapkan pada kegiatan ini adalah PLA (Participatory Learning Action). Metode PLA diterapkan untuk memperdalam penguasaan materi pengembangan bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data penelitian yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif Hasil dari kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran berdasarkan kurikulum Merdeka dan guru memahami cara membuat buku teks digital dengan baik. Sebanyak 80% peserta menyatakan sangat puas dengan hasil pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan tersebut, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam untuk melihat sejauh mana buku teks digital dapat membantu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

To help the teaching and learning process, community service is carried out in two programs: designing digital student workbooks and assisting English language learning by integrating English for Young Learners activities. This study aims to report on implementing the English teaching assistant program for elementary school teachers. Descriptive research is used to describe activities that are expected to improve the teaching and learning process in the two partner schools. The subjects of this research were three elementary school teachers and six volunteer teachers from Indonesian students. This type of research is qualitative research. In collecting data, this research used interview and observation methods. The instruments used in this research include a list of interview questions for elementary school teachers and observation sheets to record the activities of English teaching assistants in the classroom. The approach used is descriptive because this research aims to describe an existing phenomenon: the English teaching assistant program for elementary school teachers at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. Thus, the results of implementing the program show that community service has been carried out effectively to meet the needs of partner schools. Furthermore, teachers and school coordinators highlighted their positive feedback regarding the program results, indicating that the project team was successful in implementing the teaching assistant program in partner schools. In this way, the intended program presented to the community can be implemented effectively and is expected to continue in future partnerships.

Abstract

PT. XYZ has implemented System Application and Product in data processing (SAP) software to support business processes in the company. The success or failure of system implementation can be assessed from non-technical aspects, namely that users can accept and use the SAP system well. The aim of this research is to evaluate the use of SAP software through Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) modeling. Attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, behavioral intentions, and behavior are the variables used in this modeling. This TPB modeling explains the factors that influence an individual's interest and behavior in using SAP software. An individual's intention to use SAP software is influenced by attitudinal variables, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norms, while a person's influence to use SAP software is influenced by intention. This type of research is quantitative research through data collection using a questionnaire with 30 respondents coming from SAP users at PT. XYZ. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS application. The results obtained are that attitudes have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intentions, behavioral intentions have a positive and significant effect on behavior, subjective norms have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intentions, and perceived behavioral control has a negative effect on behavioral intentions in using SAP software.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi lingkungan alam yang belum dimaksimalkan pemanfaatannya sebagai media dan sumber belajar. Tujuan utama dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai media dan sumber belajar pada komunitas Guru Pencinta Alam (Gurila). Metode yang digunakan pada program pengabdian ini meliputi dua tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Pada tahap persiapan dimulai dari observasi awal dan studi pendahuluan lokasi pengabdian pelatihan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan meliputi orientasi dan observasi; workshop, praktik pemanfaatan lingkungan alam, implementasi pemanfaatan lingkungan alam, danĀ  evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam program pengabdian ini adalah komunitas Gurila, serta tim pengabdian. Hasil utama dari program ini adalah peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan terkait pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai media dan sumber belajar pada komunitas Gurila. Program ini juga menciptakan pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru bagi para anggota komunitas agar dapat saling berbagi kepada guru-guru lain yang tidak tergabung pada komunitas Gurila. Program ini berkontribusi pada upaya peningkatan kualitas belajar yang bermakna dan menyenangkan bagi siswa, serta memberikan contoh sinergitas kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat lokal dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam kemajuan pendidikan di berbagai daerah.
