Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh resiliensi terhadap kesehatan mental masyarakat “Kolok” Bengkala. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data resiliensi dengan kuesioner dan kesehatan mental dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Uji prasyarat analisis dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji hipotesis dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil korelasi pearson adalah 0,716 yang artinya hubungan antara resiliensi dan kesehatan mental berada pada kategori kuat dan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan resiliensi terhadap kesehatan mental. Persamaan garis regresi berdasarkan tabel koefisien korelasi adalah yang artinya setiap 1% penambahan variabel kesehatan mental maka resiliensi meningkat sebesar 3,429, nilai koefisien bernilai (+) maka resiliensi berpengaruh positif terhadap kesehatan mental. Simpulan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan resiliensi terhadap kesehatan mental. Saran untuk pemerintah, praktisi pendidikan, dan sukarelawan sosial dapat memberikan berbagai pelatihan diantaranya; mindfulness, yoga, cognitive reappraisal, humor, afirmasi positif, teknik-teknik relaksasi, meditasi, mengembangkan life skills, dan mengembangkan rasa bersyukur. Abstract

One limitation of this research is that the student teaching module lacks a problem-based approach, has an unappealing appearance, and is infrequently undertaken by students due to its substantial workload. Furthermore, the instructional module has not succeeded in enhancing students' proficiency in higher-order cognitive abilities. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating e-modules developed using the Heyzine flipbook creator into a problem-based learning approach within the Economics of Education course. The study was conducted as part of the Economic Education Study Programme at the Faculty of Education, State University of Medan. The research population comprised 77 students from the Education Research Programme, divided into an experimental class of 37 students and a control class of 40 students. The present study employs a quasi-experimental approach to investigate the efficacy of an experimental intervention. The objective of the data analysis is to assess the viability and applicability of the e-module after it is integrated into the learning process. This will enable an evaluation of the efficacy of e-modules in supporting student learning. The findings revealed that the students in the experimental class demonstrated an average level of learning completeness of 79%, while those in the control class exhibited an average of 73%. Consequently, it can be concluded that the acquisition of knowledge by the experimental class students through the utilisation of e-modules based on Heyzine Flipbook Maker, within a problem-based learning framework, was effective.

Abstract

This study aims to develop intercultural-based speaking materials for 7th-grade junior high school students within the framework of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum. The materials are designed to enhance students’ speaking abilities while integrating intercultural competence and peace education. Utilizing the Successive Approximation Model (SAM), the study employs a mixed-method approach, including surveys, document analysis, and expert evaluations. Findings reveal a strong student preference for engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant speaking activities. The materials underwent multiple revisions based on expert feedback to ensure alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum’s emphasis on inclusivity, critical thinking, and communication skills. The final version of the materials includes activities that not only improve linguistic competence but also foster cultural awareness and peacebuilding among students. This research highlights the significance of integrating intercultural elements into language education, particularly in diverse and conflict-prone regions. The results suggest that such materials can significantly contribute to creating a more inclusive and empathetic learning environment that prepares students to engage effectively in a multicultural society. Further studies should explore the long-term impact of these materials on students’ intercultural competence and peace education

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the cognitive load circumstance of grade XI students in the odd semester of SMK Pariwisata Budaya Bedulu. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection used observation, interview, and test techniques. Data were analyzed using Triangulation analysis techniques. This study used a sample of three students, each with high, medium, and low mathematical abilities. The research results indicate that students' cognitive load needs special attention. The condition of students' intrinsic and extraneous cognitive load was high, in contrast to the low Germane cognitive load of students. Teachers can minimize students' cognitive load by updating devices, media, and learning techniques so they do not feel burdened when implementing mathematics learning.

Abstract

Bullying atau perundungan saat ini menjadi suatu hal yang memerlukan perhatian khusus, terutama di dunia Pendidikan. Upaya pencegahan bullying tentunya harus dilakukan sejak dini, apalagi dengan adanya kebijakan merdeka belajar yang menyediakan ruang kreatifitas yang luas bagi siswa sehingga karakter merupakan pondasi utama dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran. Kepala SD Negeri 2 Meliling masih menemukan beberapa kasus perundungan yang sangat mempengaruhi kenyamanan siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk pencegahan perundungan di sekolah adalah melalui “Gerakan Literasi Sekolah berbasis Tat Twam Asi”. Berdasarkan observasi guru dan wawancara bersama siswa serta orangtua siswa dapat ditemukan kasus bullying atau perundungan yg cukup tinggi . Teknik pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah berbasis Tat Twam Asi dilaksanakan dengan meluncurkan 4 langkah diantaranya Collaboration, Positive Culture, Saturday Creativity dan Useful Break. Semenjak dilaksanakan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah berbasis Tat Twam Asi kasus perundungan mengalami penurunan yang signifikan.Tingkat perundungan yang terjadi di sekolah berangsur – angsur menurun. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Gerakan Literasi Sekolah berbasis Tat Twam Asi dapat mencegah terjadinya perundungan di SD Negeri 2 Meliling.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) implemented at SD Inpres Bumi Sagu only uses textbooks. This study aims to determine the implementation of the P5 module on students' creativity at SD Inpres Bumi Sagu. This type of research is an experimental study with a Pre-Experimental Design research design in the form of a pre-test and post-test one-group design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of phase B, grade IV of SD Inpres Bumi Sagu. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used a paired sample t-test assisted by the SPSS Statistics version 29 program. Based on the results of the study, a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 was obtained. The hypothesis Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, which means that the P5 Module is effective in improving students' creativity. So it can be concluded that the P5 Module effectively improves the creativity of grade IV students at SD Inpres Bumi Sagu.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of student activity in science lessons. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Cooperative Learning Type Team Game Tournament (TGT) on Student Activity in Science Learning Class IV. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection technique uses a non-test with an observation sheet research instrument to measure student activity. Instrument validation is carried out with expert validation. To test the research hypothesis, the researcher used the Independent T-Test. The results of the study showed that the sig value (0.000) <a (0.05) which means that there is an effect of cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) on student activity. It can be concluded that implementing a cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) affects student learning activity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that arise due to the competitive campus climate so that students often make social comparisons that trigger jealous behavior, unhealthy competition, and feelings of joy over the failure of others that indicate schadenfreude actions. One of the factors that influences schadenfreude is self-esteem. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of self-esteem on schadenfreude in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis test. Sampling in this study used the Slovin formula with a 0.5% error rate of 385 students. The sampling technique used was a random technique by dividing the distribution of subjects in each faculty using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing the self-esteem scale and the schadenfreude scale using the Likert model. The level of self-esteem categorization is in the moderate category with a percentage of 49.6% and the schadenfreude categorization is in the moderate category with a percentage of 55.6%. The results of this study indicate that self-esteem has a significant effect on schadenfreude with a contribution percentage of 17.5% which refers to a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) with a negative influence direction based on the unstandardized coefficient value of -0.462. This confirms that self-esteem has an important role in reducing feelings of joy over other people's failures.

Abstract

The measurement tool in this study was developed based on the theory of Haber & Ruyon (1984). It aimed to validate the psychometric properties of self-adjustment using Mixture Rasch Analysis. A total of 217 participants were university students. The results showed that the unidimensionality assumption was met after removing one item from each sub-scale: ACS_6, PSI_12R, and GIR_19R. The 5-point Likert scale functioned effectively, allowing participants to differentiate among various response options. Item reliability for most sub-scales was achieved, ranging from 0.70 – 0.90, except for the PSI sub-scale (0.36). However, person separation for all sub-scales did not meet the criteria, ranging between 0.70 – 1.86 (≤ 3). All items in this study showed no DIF and no latent subclass based on the Rasch Mixture Model analysis results. Overall, the self-adjustment measurement tool demonstrated fairly good performance, except for person reliability and separation, which did not meet the criteria. As a result, the items were less able to capture participants with low and high abilities.

Abstract

Literasi sains memungkinkan siswa mengembangkan berbagai kemampuan, termasuk kemampuan berpikir kritis. Literasi sains memungkinkan siswa mengembangkan berbagali kemampuan, termasuk kemampuan berpikir kritis. Di sekolah guru hanya menggunakan buku paket yang tidak menekankan literasi sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan buku ajar berbasis literasi sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 101736 Medan Krio. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasy eksperimental pretest posttes control group desain. Sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas V yang berjumlah 39 peserta didik dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan independent t-tes. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (0,278 dan 0,078 >0,05), data homogen ( 0,088>0.05). Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Pengaruh ini dilihat dari hasil analisis Independent t-tes (0.002<0.05). dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar berbasis literasi sains berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 101736 Medan Krio.
