Abstract

This study aims to analyze the elements of text, interpretation, and explanation using a critical discourse analysis approach. The textual strategy focuses on choosing the right vocabulary and the use of certain grammar. The method used is the watch-free-to-talk (SBLC) method with the note-taking technique. This type of qualitative descriptive research, while the data analysis technique is carried out by referring to the framework of Fairclough's discourse analysis dimensions, namely: text analysis, namely descriptions, interpretations, and explanations that will be used as techniques in data analysis. The results obtained are as follows: first, the types of sentences used include directive, interrogative and imperative which are also strategies for text producers to show their ideology, as well as indirect assessments of participants. Second, the vocabulary used has the purpose of emphasizing, and obscuring the real meaning. In addition to the vocabulary, the textual analysis also includes grammatical aspects by utilizing transitivity, positive-negative sentences, and modalities, as well as utilizing textual structures that are in accordance with the inverted pyramid using the news text construction pattern. So that in the socio-cultural dimension there are changes in situations, changes in institutions, and social changes.

Abstract

This research was carried out on the basis of the problem because of the little choice of learning media a teacher uses on economics subjects discussing complex APBN and APBD material. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of the media, find out learners’ response, and learning outcomes of students after the implementation of android-based interactive learning media. This research adopts the 4D development model which only reaches the development stage. This research was conducted on 20 students of class XI social sciences in the 5th Senior High School Tuban by collecting data using interviews and questionnaires that were analyzed through quantitative and qualitative data analyzed. The result is interactive learning media based on android with the APK format APBN and APBD material. The validation result obtained proper conclusions consisting of material expert 100%, media expert 97,5%, evaluation expert 78,67%, media practicality expert 100%, and media effectiveness 100%. Students resulted in positive responses by 97% and can encourage learning outcomes with an average Gain Score 0,72 and completeness of classical posttest attain 95%. So, android based interactive learning media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Early childhood education has had a bad impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government took a policy to conduct distance learning activities. In order for early childhood to retain their rights in the form of education, teachers and parents use a home learning approach. Parents play an important role in education as long as children learn at home, for example, to develop children's cognitive. One of the factors that influence cognitive development is the school environment. During this pandemic, almost all schools carry out teaching and learning activities using an online system, so that more or less it will affect the achievement of children's cognitive development. The purpose of this research was to determine the achievement of early childhood cognitive development during home study. This research is qualitative research with the subject of group B children at TK Kusuma Mulia Sidomulyo I Puncu Kediri, were in data collection using a cognitive development achievement assessment sheet involving teachers, the main reason researchers chose teachers was because researchers could not directly observe children about developmental achievements. cognitive. The filling out of the assessment sheet for the achievement of cognitive development carried out by the teacher based on the data obtained for 1 semester, the results of the study prove that during learning at home the achievement of children's cognitive development is still achieved.

Abstract

The development of learning based on the potential for early childhood intelligence is very limited. The purpose of this study is to describe the potential intelligence of early childhood. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. 5 students are the subjects in this study. The instruments used were intelligence tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is an interactive analysis model. The results showed that 5 students (2 boys and 3 girls) had IQ abilities from below average to superior categories. Based on this intelligence assessment, it can be a reference for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions to design a curriculum based on child development and in terms of the potential for intelligence to improve the teaching and learning process. The use of child development-based education can improve children's abilities to support future development.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive quantitative approach. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Covid 19 pandemic affects the inclusive economic development index. To conduct this research, the method used is quantitative method with statistical tests between dependent variables and independent variables in order to provide results that can be explained by numbers. It is based on data analysis and relevant data collection techniques obtained from previous studies and the official website that published the data. Sources of data in this study use secondary data. The data is in the form of documents and reports, which are in the form of an overview of the research location and data relevant to a study. Researchers used data collection techniques from various scientific journal literatures that were reviewed and processed. The results of the test show that there is a significant effect between Covid 19 on inclusive economic growth in East Java. Where the Covid-19 Virus pandemic has had a number of significant impacts in the domestic economic sector and on the existence of MSMEs in the country and nation. The impact of Covid-19, which has caused economic shock, also greatly affects the economy, both individually, micro, small, and medium enterprises, the country's economy which includes local, national and global levels.

Abstract

IT (Information Technology) in education sector during the Covid-19 pandemic becomes great challenges. Information technology among education, educators and school programs are still interesting subjects to discuss. The internet quota from the Ministry of Education and Culture is an effort to help the students in learning process starts from Kindergarten up to Higher level. Combined research method and purposive sampling technique are used in this study. Distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews are implemented to collect the data. In learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, the teachers or educators in Banyumas Regency began to develop and deepen their much needed capabilities of Information Technology. The results showed that the utilization of IT in Banyumas Regency has already been well provided, had a good internet connection, and gainned quota from the Ministry of Education and Culture. Media can be used are cell phones, laptop, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp group, email, zoom, and google meet. Every effort was done to make the education success in every sub-district at Banyumas Regency. From the data obtained, almost 65% used Whatsapp Group effectively through video from cell phone, 20% through Instagram, 5% through YouTube, 5% through zoom, and 5% through google meet. In line with 21st century of education expert has four skills in active communication, collaborative, higher order thinking and problem solving related to education. There are also some other efforts can be done such as increasing learning and developing educational creativity. The success of learning in each component is able to influence each other.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the usage description of (1) lexical cohesion in the form of repetitions in the Pembaca Menulis rubric of Jawa Pos newspapers, (2) lexical cohesion in the form of synonyms in the Pembaca Menulis rubric of Jawa Pos newspapers, and (3) lexical cohesion in the form of antonyms in the Pembaca Menulis rubric of Jawa Pos newspapers. Newspapers are source of written news that can be read at any time. In addition to presenting news that is happening around the community, newspapers are also place to express aspirations, one of which is the Pembaca Menulis rubric of Jawa Pos newspapers from May and June 2020 editions. A good and complete text requires cohesive sentences both grammatically and lexically. The data source of this research is the Jawa Pos newspapers from May and June 2020 editions which are taken randomly. This research is a qualitative research that uses a critical text analysis approach. The results of the study show that there are repetitions, synonyms, and antonyms in the May and June 2020 editions of Pembaca Menulis rubric of Jawa Pos Newspapers.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the effect of weaving on a child’s concentration level. The research method was the experimental with pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest). The results of the research with 30 children as sample showed that there was difference between the average pretest and posttest. It can be seen in pretest obtained 15.97 and the standard deviation was 1.4735 while in posttest obtained 29.07 and standard deviation was 2.09981. These results proved that there is a significant influence before and after treatment. So, there is an influence of weaving activities on children's concentration.

Abstract

Improving learning through rough motoric activities using WhatsApp application at RA Al Muttaqin. This research was implemented using offline (Visit School) and online (WhatsApp applications) methods as a problem solver for teaching and learning activities (KBM) at RA Al Muttaqin during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of motoric physical activity through WhatsApp learning was applied by making video of learning to know children’s rough motoric development. Generally, WhatsApp-based online learning challenges teacher’s creativity, in planning fun and interesting learning programs by developing collaboration between teachers, parents and participants, that is become the best solution in the Covid-19 pandemic that demands to take care of the physical.

Abstract

The curriculum is always changing according to developments in science and technology. Curriculum design in education needs to be done to answer the needs of society and the challenges of changing times. The curriculum is a guide in achieving the objectives of implementing the teaching process. The SD learning process in implementing the 2013 curriculum is carried out in an integrated manner with the theme of linking between subjects so that it is expected to provide meaningful learning experiences for students. Teachers determine student success in learning so that superior human resources are created through the educational process. The module is a printed teaching material that teachers can use to present learning material. This study developed a module with the theme of the solar system, sub-theme Change in the Appearance of Celestial Objects in SDN Gedongombo 6, Semanding District, Tuban Regency in fourth grade students. The research used is the development of the learning module. The research procedure uses the Four-D model according to Thiagarajan. The data collection instrument for this module development research consists of an assessment instrument for the subject matter expert learning module, an assessment instrument for the linguist learning module, an assessment instrument for the learning module for media experts, student questionnaires, and a teacher questionnaire. From the results of module development that have been validated by experts, it is obtained data that the module still needs reforms. Learning data and information results in the effectiveness of learning. Evidence of the final test data using the module shows the achievement of KKM 75 by 21 students out of 25 students.
