Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan September. Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel akan di review oleh reviewer dan hasilnya akan dikomunikasikan kepada penulis. Abstract

The basic premise of this research is that standard management processes have not been implemented optimally, and standard management of teaching and learning collaboration has not been maximized, including many teachers who still have not mastered the use of information technology (IT) as a means of supporting learning. The aim of this research is to determine the planning, implementation and supervision of quality management in the provision of education at SMPN 13 Jambi City. This research uses a qualitative approach using the case study method, namely empirical research that examines a phenomenon in real life. The research results show that quality management in the provision of education at SMPN 13 Jambi City is carried out based on management functions. Quality management planning in the provision of education at SMPN 13 Jambi City refers to education management standards set by the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) which reflect higher and competitive management standards. Implementation of a management program for the utilization of education and education personnel, namely the implementation of workshops, in-house training, coaching, a clear reward and punishment system for teachers, education personnel, students, and other financing that has not met the standards required to achieve educational quality.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of QR Code media on the ability to write drama scripts. This research is a quantitative type of research with a Nonequivalent Control Group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Jambi City. Sampling in this study used the Purposive Sampling technique, the sample used was 62 students who were divided into two classes, namely 31 students in class VIII C as the control class and 31 students in VIII E as the experimental class. Research data was obtained through interviews, documentation, and test instruments (Pretest and Posttest). The results showed that the average posttest score for the experimental class was 70.8 and the control class was 64.3. The results of the hypothesis test using the t test, show that the output results obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.018 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is a significant influence of QR Code media on students' ability to write drama scripts.

Abstract

Educational facilities and infrastructure are vital elements in the education system, regulated by the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003. The removal of educational facilities and infrastructure becomes a crucial activity to free educational institutions from non-functional assets. This article discusses the concepts, objectives, requirements, mechanisms, and methods of removing educational facilities and infrastructure. The concept of removing educational facilities and infrastructure encompasses the process of freeing assets considered non-functional for justifiable reasons. The primary objective of this removal is to prevent wasteful maintenance costs, free up space, and enhance the efficiency of inventory management. The method of removing educational facilities and infrastructure can be carried out through auctioning or disposal. Auctioning is directed towards items that still have economic value, while disposal is applied to items that are no longer saleable or lack economic value. This article employs a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the concepts and mechanisms of removal. Thus, this article provides an in-depth understanding of the removal of educational facilities and infrastructure, exploring the objectives, requirements, mechanisms, and methods necessary in the management of educational resources.

Abstract

Social studies lessons are boring learning for students because the content is rote memorization. Based on the results of initial observations, it appears that the low interest in studying social studies for class V at Baiga State Elementary School is caused by students' disinterest in delivering monotonous material, teachers have difficulty providing concrete descriptions of learning material because they do not use the right media so that students have difficulty expressing facts, and arguments to develop within the topic. In general, interest in studying social studies among these students is low. This research aims to increase students' interest in learning social studies and describe the obstacles and solutions for implementing the role playing model with audio-visual media. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles with planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research results show that the role playing model with audio-visual media can increase students' interest in learning social studies. The obstacle in implementing the role playing model with audio visual media is that it is difficult for students to be suitable in playing the role of a teacher, where students are less imbued with their role, students are less active in asking questions during activities. The solution offered is that teachers pay more attention to the abilities of students in determining the role of each student so that they are more aware of their role.

Abstract

: Quality education is education that can produce graduates with competencies and abilities in both vocational and academic fields, based on social, personal competencies and good behavioral values. The principal is the main driver for the development and progress of the school and is responsible for increasing the success of students and their programs. The aim of this research is to determine the role of school coconuts in improving the quality of education at Senior High School 2 Muaro Jambi. The subjects of this research are school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques include; observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique, namely analysis that explains the facts of the data as they are, excluding subjective points of view. This method is used to analyze qualitative data.

Abstract

Japan's defeat in World War II made Indonesia an independent country, but the Dutch did not recognize Indonesia's independence and tried to return to power by conducting negotiations and military operations. This research aims to describe and analyze the efforts made by Westerling to establish the State of Eastern Indonesia and the impact resulting from the establishment of NIT. The results of this research are that the State of East Indonesia was formed as an attempt by the Dutch to return to power in Indonesia because the Dutch still considered Indonesia as a colony after the Second World War ended. Westerling's efforts to help or accelerate the establishment of the State of East Indonesia were by capturing and executed republicans who opposed the establishment of the State of East Indonesia and carried out cleansing in South Sulawesi to prevent the area from joining Indonesia. The impact of the founding of the State of Eastern Indonesia was that the form of the Indonesian state became federal, the economy in the areas where the cleanup was carried out became dead and chaotic, the social conditions of the people in the cleanup areas became disturbed and the people became traumatized by the sound of cars and politics in Indonesia became unstable due to changes in the shape of the state

Abstract

At the learning implementation stage of the Creative Clothing Designer program at BPVP Padang, students found it difficult to find sources of ideas, to design clothing according to the specified concept and design theme, because students came from different scientific backgrounds. Therefore, students are directed to create a moodboard, to make learning easier. This research is aimed at finding out: learning planning, learning implementation and evaluating learning outcomes of training students using moodboards. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method, using primary and secondary data sources. The number of informants in this qualitative research was not determined, so the informants for this research were 1 instructor and 12 training students (Bungin 2010:53). Data collection techniques, in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions (Sugiyono, 2017). The research results show: (1) at the planning stage the instructor carries out learning planning before the learning process begins by creating lesson plans and learning media. (2) At the learning implementation stage, students will learn how to design clothing in various shapes using the help of moodboard media. (3) Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, the learning outcomes after using the moodboard become more conceptual and students are able to present 4 collections with 4 uses of the moodboard. Where 1 collection is produced, containing 3-4 student works, so the total student work obtained from 4 moodboards is 12 works that have one unified design. The results of this work will be presented at the end of the lesson to prove the relationship between the design and the source of the idea.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of learning motivation given by teachers to fifth grade students which was carried out at SD 13 Tanjung Batu. This research aims to determine the motivation of fifth grade students at SD 13 Tanjung Batu in participating in Mathematics learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques using triangulation. The subjects of this research were all class V students at SD 13 Tanjung Batu, totaling 30 students. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the research show that the motivation of class V students in participating in Mathematics learning at SD Negeri 13 Tanjung Batu in learning Mathematics, there are 77.5% of students who are happy. The majority of students agree and strongly agree to doing questions (78%) and doing homework (73%). Apart from that, the majority of students also agreed and strongly agreed that they could get good grades (77.5%). Students' awareness of learning was 74.6%. As many as 70% of students (13 students) strongly disagree with cheating.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the material completeness in the English textbook entitled “English in Context” by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The material completeness that was expected to be found was a short interpersonal text, a short transactional text and a short functional text. The researcher used a qualitative research design and a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the English textbook. Specifically, the researcher used a checklist in gathering the data. The data were gathered by reading the English textbook thoroughly to identify and classify the material completeness that can be found. The researcher analyzed the data by the results of the study. The result showed that “English in Context” textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture provides material completeness, there are: 1) A short interpersonal text, providing introducing self and others namely introducing self, greeting, leave-taking, thanking and apologizing. 2) A short transactional text, namely daily activity, physical appearances, asking and giving information about characteristics of humans, asking and giving information about hobbies and professions, and asking and giving information about song. 3 A short functional text, namely descriptive text. The result of this research showed that this “Bahasa Inggris” textbook fulfills the material completeness aspect.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) cognitive category in the questions contained in the Indonesian language textbook for Class VIII Middle Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Independent Curriculum 2021 Edition. This research uses qualitative research methods. The type of research used is content analysis. This research is also called analytical research, where the study is based on document analysis. The data for this research were taken from the HOTS type reading element questions found in the Indonesian Middle School Class VIII textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2021. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are 51 questions in the Class VIII Indonesian Middle School textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Merdeka Curriculum In 2021, spread over 6 CHAPTERS, the lesson topics are HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). These practice questions have the same question characteristics and are included in the cognitive categories C4 (analyzing), C5 (evaluating), and C6 (creating). These questions are included in the realm of KKO (Operational Verbs) level 3 (reasoning). The suggestions that can be put forward from this research are that textbook writers are advised to make efforts to improve the characteristics of HOTS C4, C5 and C6 questions based on Learning Objectives (TP) and other researchers are advised to research other aspects of HOTS.
