Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes in the treatment of the Discovery Learning learning model; To determine the interaction of learning models on learning outcomes. This research is classified as quasi-experimental research. This research will be conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Medan. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. From the results of the research findings it was found that for social science learning outcomes to learning models a significant value was obtained for learning outcomes to learning models 0.003 <0.05, and for social science learning outcomes based on learning interest with teaching classes had sig. 0.027 <0.05 which means there is an interaction between the two. This means that there is an interaction with the Discovery Learning learning model that affects learning outcomes.

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of outreach are carried out at the Patmos Learning House which aims to enable teaching staff at the learning home to make and use E-Modules in the learning process being carried out. Making E-Modules for learning mathematics can increase the competence of educators in developing and implementing them in the learning process. The dissemination of community service in this form of socialization is that educators in providing effective and efficient learning can attract and stimulate students' creativity to improve the learning process in schools in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The results of this socialization found that the creation and use of E-Modules could improve the quality of students' abilities. The results of this activity are 1) teachers become more confident and motivated to use technology, 2) teachers can design and create simple interesting learning E-Modules according to the themes and needs of students 3) teachers can design interactive videos and involve children in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: differences in the effect of the Problem Based Learning model and the Direct Learning model on student learning outcomes; This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design type. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. Testing was carried out using Two Way ANOVA. The results of the study show that (1) there are differences in the effect of the problem-based learning model and the direct learning model on student social studies learning outcomes; there is no interaction between social studies initial skills (high, medium, and low) and learning models on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 4 Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how Mathematical Crossword Puzzle Media affects fourth-grade students at SDN Semolowaru 1 Surabaya's learning outcomes. This review utilizes a quantitative methodology with the One Gathering Pretest-Posttest technique. The subjects of this review were 4th grade understudies at SDN Semolowaru 1 Surabaya. The study was carried out on February 28, 2023. Pre- and post-tests were used as data collection techniques. This study's validation employs SPSS 26.0 calculations and an expert validator. The descriptive quantitative analysis method with two-tailed paired t-test analysis was used to analyze the data. The consequences of this study demonstrate that there are contrasts in understudy learning results when the utilization of Crossword Puzzle Media with an expansion in the normal worth of 73.39. It is evident from the output test statistics of the paired t-test (2-tailed), which are shown to be sig (2-tailed) 0.000 0.05, that Ha is accepted. This means that there is a difference between the learning outcomes from the Pretest and Posttest scores, and it is possible to draw the conclusion that the Mathematical Crossword Puzzle Media has an effect on improving the learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN Semolowaru 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

This study intends to enhance the writing abilities of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara through the construction of media pictures and the implementation of project-based learning learning models. This research is being developed through research (R&D). Researchers employed a questionnaire approach to gather data. Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that project-based learning models and media pictures can help SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara class VIII students write explanatory texts more effectively.

Abstract

Rescue boat training is a form of knowledge about saving oneself and others in the event of an emergency at sea. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of delays when lowering the rescue boat, and to determine the knowledge of the crew about procedures during an emergency. The method used is the observation method, namely direct observation of the object under study. Through observation and research with data collection techniques and get closer to the existing problems, because with the observation method the compiler can directly hold activities in the field. Observations that the author made by making direct observations when the authors carried out marine practice. In addition, observation is a very important data collection tool in descriptive research. The results of research and discussion of problems regarding delays in lowering Rescue boat during an emergency, The rescue boat should have been able to descend within 3-5 minutes, but due to the lack of understanding and skills of the ship's crew, making the rescue boat descend took up to 7-8 minutes and based on observations in the field when carrying out rescue boat lowering drills on the SPOB. Julvinda ship, the author can conclude how to lower rescue boat using gravity goddesses there are 66% of respondents who can mastering the procedure well in lowering rescue boat can be categorized as skilled and 33% of respondents who do not understand the procedures for lowering rescue boat with machines or remotely in lowering rescue boat during emergency drills. Abstract

Community Reading Center (TBM) program innovation is a new creative idea or idea, method, or tool that is systematically planned by someone, and approved by everyone to be implemented continuously in the organization so that the benefits can be felt by many people. This study aims to describe the management of the global literacy youth community reading garden program (TBM PPLG) in improving the culture of community literacy in Lopang Gede, Lopang Subdistrict, Serang District, Serang City. The research method uses a descriptive with a qualitative approach. Research subjects included the founder, chairman, 3 volunteers, 4 learning residents, and 4 surrounding communities. Data collection techniques in this study namely; observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used that is; data reduction, data data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that the management of the global literacy youth association community reading center program (TBM PPLG) in improving the culture of community literacy in Lopang Gede, Lopang Subdistrict, Serang District, Serang City, has been going well with the use of four management functions namely; stage Planning, organizing, Actuating, and Controlling.

Abstract

This research article examines the roles and challenges women face in the leadership of Islamic educational institutions through literature review methods. The literature review method is used to collect data from articles, journals, and books related to women's leadership in the context of Islamic education. The results of the study show that women's leadership in Islamic educational institutions has a significant role in the development of Islamic educational institutions as a whole. Women leaders are able to bring about changes in how institutions are managed, improve the quality of education, and develop innovations in teaching methods. In addition, women's leadership is also able to set an example and motivation for students and staff. However, women's leadership in Islamic educational institutions is still faced with a number of challenges, including gender discrimination, social stereotypes, and traditional roles applied in society. In conclusion, this article shows that women’s leadership has an important role in the development of Islamic educational institutions, but what. However, what needs to be examined is the expertise possessed by the man or woman who wants to be a leader. Of course, a leader must be skilled, competent, and professional or have qualified abilities in the field of leadership and manageria management.

Abstract

Interactive media is an important component in educational activities, particularly in the fourth industrial revolution age. Teachers utilize learning material to support effective and efficient learning and to improve understanding among pupils. There is a need for a revolution in the learning material utilized by educators in the digital era. The media should not only be entertaining, but it should also be capable of developing higher-order thinking abilities in kids. Through its comprehensive design, including user instructions, content, and evaluation, interactive media, in particular, has the potential to make instructors' jobs easier and promote autonomous learning among students. Given these factors, a study of interactive media in the fourth industrial revolution is required. The purpose of this study is to see if interactive media in the fourth industrial revolution may impact students' learning results. This study's research technique is a literature review based on several publications.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of ability of Persitta Fc Talang Taling athletes to do dribbling. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ladder drill and zig-zag running exercises on the dribbling abilities of football athletes at the Persitta Fc club. This research method is a quasi-experimental, two group pretest-posttest design, namely the division of the experimental group is divided into two groups using ordinal pairing using the A-B-B-A pattern, as well as the data collection technique using tests. The instrument used is a dribbling ability test. The subjects in this study were 20 Persitta Fc club athletes, taking samples by census or total sampling. Data analysis techniques used hypothesis testing with t-test analysis. The results obtained from the experimental group 1 t-count value = 5.756 ≥ t-table = 1.833 and the results of the experimental group 2 study t-count value = 6.509 ≥ t-table = 1.833 There is a difference from the two exercises to improving the dribbling ability of Persitta Fc athletes. And to find out which of the two exercises has the most effect, the results of the pretest and posttest average scores in the experimental group 1 are 28.40 and 24.20. While the average pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group 2 were 28.48 and 24.32. Thus there was an increase of 4.20 in the experimental group 1 while the increase in the experimental group 2 was 4.16. The results of this study indicate that ladder drill exercises have a better effect on improving dribbling abilities than zig-zag running exercises in dribbling skills.
