Abstract

The implementation of punishment in schools does not always yield the desired results and can lead to negative impacts if not managed wisely. Some violations of school regulations, such as tardiness, absenteeism, or deviant behavior, require appropriate approaches to ensure that the learning process is not disrupted and students can grow into responsible individuals. Sometimes, the punishment system tends to focus on sanctions without providing constructive guidance alternatives, which can hinder students' positive development. This study aims to investigate the implementation of school regulations such as tardiness, non-uniform attire, mandatory uniform attire, and absence/leaving during class hours/early departure. And the punishments given to students who violate these regulations at SMK Negeri 2 Pagar Alam. The type of research used is qualitative research, employing a descriptive analytical approach. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, interviews, and the results obtained from the implementation of school regulations and punishments certainly have a significant impact on the formation of student discipline with binding rules. Familiarizing oneself with the school rules at SMK Negeri 2 Pagar Alam is done through habituation and socialization to students. The culture of SMK Negeri 2 Pagar Alam students in implementing school regulations is carried out through morning greetings, "ant operations," and school environmental patrols.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teaching methodology and performance in teacher training. The researcher used the document analysis method. This study involved 100 teachers. The results of the study concluded that the balance between academic standards and the diversity of students' intellectuality needs to be considered, this can create holistic and contextual learning. Teachers need to have comprehensive knowledge and skills in subject matter, teaching methodology, and readiness to adapt to student needs and learning contexts. Thus, education is not only about teaching materials but also about time management, creating student enthusiasm and motivation, and adjusting teaching methods. To ensure that all students can understand and master the material, teachers must prepare thoroughly and continuously.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of reduplication in the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading and note taking. The data is analyzed using Chaer's (2011) theory on the types of reduplication. The result of this study shows that there are 646 reduplication data in the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. These 646 data are classified according to their types, namely 455 types of whole reduplication, 134 types of partial reduplication, 49 types of reduplication combined with affixes, and 8 types of reduplication with phoneme changes.

Abstract

This study examines teachers' challenges in implementing effective learning modules at SMK Negeri 2 Pagar Alam, focusing on the lack of active student participation in class. This issue arises due to monotonous and unvaried teaching methods, making some students feel bored and confused. This qualitative descriptive research utilized observation, interviews, and documentation techniques to gather data. The study population includes 70 teachers at the school, with a specific sample of Islamic Education teachers from the X MPLB 2 class selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the main difficulties lie in the use of lecture methods and the lack of effective media and teaching strategies, impacting the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process for the 2023/2024 Independent Curriculum academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of the Qiro'ati technique on the proficiency of reading Iqra in the TTQ (Tahsin, Tahfidz Qur'an) topic at SD IT Ar-Raihan Kota Pagar Alam. Additionally, the study intends to identify the elements that contribute to or hinder the effectiveness of this approach. This study employs a quantitative experimental approach using a nonequivalent control-group pretest and posttest design. The findings indicate that the Qiro'ati approach substantially positively impacts the proficiency of Iqra reading. The calculations yield a t-value of 2.160 with degrees of freedom (df) equal to 54, while the t-table value is 1.674. This implies that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The p-value (two-tailed) of 0.035, which is less than 0.05, provides evidence supporting this conclusion. Consequently, the students in the experimental class who utilized the Qiro'ati approach demonstrated a superior Iqra reading proficiency compared to those in the control class. Obstacles to using the Qiro'ati approach encompass pupil passivity, absence of self-control, and restricted time allocation. Supporting aspects encompass the presence of sufficient facilities and infrastructure, as well as effective communication between the Qiro'ati teachers and the school principal.

Abstract

Archery is a sport that uses a bow to shoot arrows at a target. To prevent boredom in learning, YouTube-based audiovisual media was implemented to improve shooting accuracy. This study aims to measure the impact of this media on the shooting accuracy of archery extracurricular participants at SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya. The method used was quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental design, specifically the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population consisted of 38 students divided into experimental and control groups. The research was conducted over one month with six sessions. Data analysis using paired t-tests showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest in the experimental group (0.010 < 0.05), but no difference in the control group (0.878 > 0.05). Independent samples tests indicated no significant difference between pretest and posttest in both groups (0.119 > 0.05). The experimental group showed an accuracy improvement of 6.59%, while the control group showed only a 0.7% improvement. In conclusion, the use of YouTube-based audiovisual media is effective in improving the shooting accuracy of archery extracurricular participants at SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya.

Abstract

Advances in technology and easy access to social media have influenced adolescent association. They are exposed to a variety of content that is often contrary to religious values. This causes a greater challenge in providing a strong understanding of religion to teenagers. This method is a qualitative method will provide a deep understanding of the experiences and perspectives of adolescents, as well as provide insight into how religious education can play an important role in guiding them to conduct interviews and observations. Based on the results of religious education research has a crucial role in guiding adolescents to deal with promiscuity. Through understanding of moral values, ethics, social responsibility, and spiritual values, adolescents can make wise, responsible, and positive decisions in their lives

Abstract

This study's title is "The Effect of Group Counselling Services with Relaxation Techniques on the Academic Stress of Students at SMAN 99 Jakarta" . This project aims to provide class XI students at SMAN 99 Jakarta with group counselling services that include relaxation methods in order to lower their academic stress levels. The study took place from October to May and used a purposive sample of ten students from a population of thirty-six to administer a one-group pretest-posttest. For the academic stress variable, the data collecting tool relied on a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.867 and 40 valid statements out of 52. The data is normally distributed, according to the normalcy test, and the hypothesis testing using Paired-Samples With a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 as shown by the T-Test, the null hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. As a consequence of participating in group counselling sessions that included relaxation methods, students at SMAN 99 Jakarta reported less academic stress.

Abstract

This article discusses school management at SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh as an effort to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of education. Observation methods include direct observation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and analysis of documents related to school management, with a focus on management of facilities and infrastructure, curriculum, students, human resources, and school budget. Observation results show that school management at SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh includes resource management, school policies, interactions between staff and students, as well as implementation of educational programs. The main aim of this observation is to understand in depth the management practices implemented in daily activities at the school in order to achieve the stated educational goals. The observation process includes observing various situations and interactions at school, both inside and outside the classroom, including school leadership, policy implementation, and interactions between school stakeholders. The results of observations are recorded in the form of field notes, audio/video, or images and then analyzed to identify patterns, themes, and important findings related to research objectives. School management observations are often used in conjunction with other data collection methods, such as interviews or document analysis, to provide a comprehensive understanding of management practices in schools. From the results of observations at SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh, important findings were found regarding school management including management of facilities and infrastructure, teacher and student recruitment processes, and budget management. Recommendations for improvement are provided to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of education at the school. Evaluations and improvements continue to be carried out in order to achieve better educational standards, with the hope that the positive contribution from these observations can bring about significant changes in the quality of education at SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh and become a reference for other educational institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis linguistik kritis terhadap wawancara yang dilakukan oleh Najwa Shihab dengan Ganjar Pranowo di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literature. Metode ini merupakan metode pendekatan secara kualitatif yang digunakan dalam melakukan analisis data – data yang di dapatkan dari dokumen. Dokumen yang digunakan berupa jurnal, rekaman wawancara, buku, karya ilmiah, dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian dalam wawancara tersebut adalah statement yang diberikan oleh Bapak Ganjar Pranowo. Statement ini cenderung teoritis saja namun dalam prakteknya belum tentu hal tersebut dapat terealisasikan. Karena pada nyatanya dalam kepemimpinan beliau di Jawa Tengah masih saja banyak permasalahan - permasalahan krusial yang terjadi mulai dari kemiskinan, pengangguran, dan sengketa lahan serta permasalahan tersebut masih belum dapat beliau tangani dengan baik. Hasil analisis ini menyajikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana bahasa digunakan untuk membentuk realitas dan memengaruhi opini dalam masyarakat, khususnya terkait isu-isu politik sebelum masa kampanye, dan pentingnya kritisisme terhadap penggunaan Bahasa.
