Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the differences in kaṣb thought or other views of Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī with Ash'ari. This study departs from the problem of whether there is a relationship between God's will and human actions according to Fakhruddin Al-Rāzī and whether Al-Rāzī's view of kaṣb is the same as that of Ash'ari. This research is a library-based research that starts from understanding interpretations related to human actions, in this case human actions are analyzed in the book of tafsir Mafatih Al-Ghaib. The findings of the study concluded that Al-Rāzī's idea or view of human actions (kaṣb) was that Al-Rāzī neither accepted nor completely rejected the theory of Ash'ari kaṣb which he called "a word for meaningless concepts". Al-Rāzī had his own view of kaṣb which according to Al-Razi kaṣb was the object of qadar created by Allah Almighty directly and newly, without any cause or other factor influencing it. Examples are the creation of man, heaven, earth and everything miraculous. Ar-Rāzī also defines kasb as an object of qadar that replaces qudrah meaning as an object created by utilizing forces or factors that already exist. In this case, Allah Almighty uses His qudrah or ability to create the object. An example is the creation of trees, animals, and humans born from the process of pregnancy. The basis of ar-Razi's refutation is that man has no ability to create or prevent the causal factors (al-Da'i) that lead to action.

Abstract

This article examines the extent of the role of Sufism da'wah in improving the quality of faith of the Indonesian people, especially the Betawi community. Where the Betawi community experiences moral decadence, and with its geographical location, namely the Metropolitan City, the Betawi community is infected with a hedonistic and realistic lifestyle. This research is a field research. A sociological approach is used to analyze what Sufism looks like in the Betawi community in Indonesia. The theory used is the sociology of knowledge. This research focuses on da'wah as a center of study, and Sufism as an indicator in the formation of Betawi community morals. The results showed that forging life through Sufism da'wah produced good results in the Betawi community. Sufism da'wah in Indonesia as a medium of da'wah in Islamic Education aims to sharpen the heart and be forged with the application of Sufism teachings. So that problems are realized because of the preservation of reason.

Abstract

This article proves that the interpretation of the Koran is greatly influenced by the socio-political background of the interpreter which influences their interpretation and the choice of approach they use. The regional head election (Pilkada) contest in DKI Jakarta is an arena for seeking the legitimacy of each interpreter for the intent of Qs. al-Ma'idah: 51. On the other hand, a textual approach based on a linguistic approach (al-'ibrah bi' general al-lafdzi) gave birth to an exclusive interpretation in rejecting non-Muslim Regional Head candidates. Meanwhile, the basis of the socio-historical approach ('al-ibrah bi especially al-sabab) is a more inclusive religious foundation that allows non-Muslim Regional Head candidates. The choice of this approach seems to have a reciprocal correlation with the socio-political setting of the interpreter, because in fact the interpretation of awliya' in Qs. Al-Maidah: 51, is neutral. Etymologically it can be interpreted; close, friend, protector, helper, leader, alliance, ally, intimate, lover, soul mate and maybe many more. However, when scholars have a certain tendency, in the end the interpretation of awliya' is brought to the subjective meaning of the interpreter, even though the interpreter claims to have constructed an interpretation that is objective and universal in nature. This research is a field research with a hermeneutic approach. Sources of data are Muslim scholars who are experts in the field of interpretation of the Koran from various backgrounds by purposive sampling according to the expertise of the informants.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the pesantren community in Attaqwa Bekasi Islamic Boarding School perceives the values of religious moderation. Pesantren is considered as a small miniature of religious attitudes and perspectives in Indonesia so it is important and interesting to see how the response and response of the pesantren community to religious moderation; which is a concept related to the religious attitude of the Indonesian nation which was popularized massively by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of field research, data collection using interview and observation techniques and then analyzed using a descriptive analysis approach, the indicators used are four indicators of Religious Moderation carried by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, namely national commitment, tolerance, non-violence and respect for local culture. The results showed that the value of religious moderation has been understood by all elements of Islamic boarding schools, moderation is understood through wasathiyatul Islam which is considered in line with Islam. The Attaqwa Islamic Boarding School also recognizes Pancasila as the final foundation of the state and considers it not to conflict with the teachings of Islam. Attaqwa Islamic Boarding School has also implemented tolerant behavior and respects differences. Even so, students are still given the strengthening of creed and guidance on the correct application of tolerance in the Islamic view. The Attaqwa Islamic Boarding School upholds the rejection of violence, stressing that this attitude has been exemplified by its founder, KH. Noer Alie who fosters society regardless of religion, race, social status and background. Attaqwa Islamic Boarding School is known as one of the pesantren that accepts and even practices a lot of local culture in ubudiyah and muamalah. This acceptance of local culture makes Attaqwa Islamic Boarding School an accepted and even inherent in the community.

Abstract

Luqman Al-Hakim is a special figure whose story is immortalized in the Al-Qur'an and his name is even used as one of the names of letters in the Al-Qur'an. One form of Luqman Al-Hakim's special qualities as described by Allah SWT in the Al-Qur'an is when he acted as a father and educator for his son. Luqman uses effective educational approaches and methods that we can use as role models for Qur'anic education methods today. This article aims to analyze what and how Qur'anic education methods are found in Luqman's teaching process towards his son as stated in Surah Luqman verses 12 to 19. This qualitative research uses a content analysis method which makes the interpretation of Al-Taḥrīr wa Al-Tanwīr Ibn Asyur's work as an object of research study. This tafsir was chosen because Ibn Assyur, apart from being known as a contemporary educational figure in Tunisia, he used a maqāṣidī tafsir approach in his tafsir work to explore the main values or objectives of the Al-Qur'an (Maqṣad) which are applicable to every condition of place and time. The main finding of this study is that in teaching his son, Luqman Al-Hakim used six teaching methods, namely: educating with a wise and loving attitude, understanding the priority scale of teaching material, using analogies in delivering the material, providing a general overview before entering. into the details of the material, attracting students' attention, and always providing rationalization for each material taught so that it is easily accepted and understood by students.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the forms of internalization of the value of national commitment as a strategy to strengthen religious moderation by the manager of Ma'had Aly Attaqwa KH. Noer Alie, Bekasi. Ma'had Aly is a pesantren higher education established to produce pesantren cadres. In addition to studying, Ma'had Aly students also have the task of serving, namely representing kyai guiding the daily activities of students at the Islamic Boarding School. Their high intensity with students has implications for the views and religious values of the students in the Islamic boarding school. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of  field research  or field research. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that religious moderation in Ma'had Aly Attaqwa KH. Noer Alie stands out for strengthening aspects of national commitment. The results of the study also prove that strengthening religious moderation is applied through the integration of learning activities, social and extracurricular activities as well as library literacy. Mahasantri Ma'had Aly Attaqwa KH. Noer Alie is equipped with the values of struggle and nationalism adopted from the struggle values of its founder KH. Noer Alie, a cleric and freedom fighter who was awarded the title of national hero. The results of the study contribute as a policy reference for the strategy of developing religious moderation in the Ma'had Aly environment for the Directorate General of Diniyah Education and Islamic Boarding Schools of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

In an effort to develop quality alumni, Islamic boarding schools have implemented learning innovation programs by forming several Excellent classes that offer exclusive programs compared to Regular class types. For example, the Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic boarding school located in Indralaya, South Sumatra province, has implemented six Excellent classes based on memorizing the Koran. The formation of this Excellent class aims to produce a generation of Qur'anists who have a deep understanding of the contents of the Qur'an and become intellectuals who are proficient in various fields of general, exact and social sciences. The students in the Excellent class face various challenges during their education and learning period. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of evaluating and formulating strategies that can optimally improve the quality of learning. In this research, qualitative data measurements and analysis were carried out using a descriptive approach that explained in detail and was carried out through field research. Data collection and analysis was carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation and document review. This research produces stages and steps for prevention and action against cases faced by students. Persuasive and cooperative approaches are prioritized in efforts to improve the quality of learning and teaching situations, as well as achieving Excellent class learning targets. From the evaluation results, it can be concluded that it is important to build a comfortable and focused learning system, so that it can create alumni who are competent in the fields of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, religious sciences and general science.

Abstract

Through descriptive qualitative methods and types of library research, found a match between the scientific theories and opinions of commentators about the verses of the Qur'an which explain changes in soil structure that cause submersion earth, it is explained that the statement or interpretation that is most approaching the theory of science, contained in the book Tahrir wa tanwir namely al-Khasfu which means the upside of the earth's surface, which is above and below and the bottom of the earth is above it this is because shaking or earthquake.

Abstract

This research explores the use of gamification in learning, especially the use of the Baamboozle platform. This is related to the role of PAI teachers in increasing students' learning motivation, especially in grade 5 at Sinar Scholar Islamic Elementary School. The aim of this research is to analyze teacher strategies in increasing student learning motivation in PAI classes. This research agrees with research entitled "Teacher Strategies in Increasing Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education Subjects" written by Alif Achadah which states that teachers must have ideal strategies in teaching according to different conditions at each level so that students are motivated to learn. can increase. This research uses a type of qualitative research in the form of field research. The research method uses a descriptive analysis model with a sociological and psychological approach. Research data sources consist of primary data sources including interviews with related parties, documentation collection, observation, triangulation, and secondary data sources secondary data obtained from all written data relevant to the research topic. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman theory, starting from collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions, and validating data. This research presents the conclusion that the implementation of active learning through the Baamboozle platform used in PAI subjects in class V of Sinar Scholar Islamic Elementary School is in accordance with the RPP and is considered effective in increasing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the values of Islamic education contained in Surah Al-A'raf verse 26 based on Ibn Katsir's interpretation. This research is qualitative research, with a library research approach, the research is studied through library research with qualitative data whose sources of information are studied literary sources and the Tafsir Book. Data collection techniques use primary and secondary data. Meanwhile, data analysis uses deductive-inductive methods, comparative methods and content analysis. The research results show that the meaning of Surah Al-A'raf Verse 26 according to Ibnu Katsir in his Tafsir has 3 values of Islamic education, namely, the value of aqidah education (increasing faith and fear of Allah SWT), the value of worship education (praying to Allah SWT and doing good deeds pious), and the value of moral/moral education (wearing Islamic clothing and smiling at others).
