Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in fostering religious values in early childhood within a formal educational setting. This study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to gain a deep understanding of religious learning practices implemented by teachers. Data collection techniques included observation of learning activities, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation studies relevant to the early childhood religious education process. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through diligent observation and triangulation of data collection techniques. The results indicate that teachers play a strategic role in strengthening religious values in early childhood, manifested through their understanding of basic religious concepts, the implementation of habitual worship practices, the use of varied and contextual learning strategies, and modeling religious attitudes and behaviors in daily life within the school environment. These findings confirm that optimizing the role of teachers significantly contributes to the internalization of religious values in early childhood and is a crucial factor in the formation of religious character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher creativity in utilizing learning media in Fiqh subjects at MI Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This study is motivated by the importance of teacher creativity in using learning media to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, especially in Fiqh learning, which is often considered monotonous and less interesting for students. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Fiqh teachers, and students as research subjects. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that teacher creativity in utilizing learning media has begun to be applied through the use of laptops, the internet, and presentation media in delivering Fiqh materials. However, the implementation is not optimal because there are still obstacles such as limited technological skills, a lack of variety in media use, and facilities and infrastructure that are not fully supportive. Supporting factors include the availability of technological facilities and school support, while inhibiting factors include limited teacher competence in using technology and a lack of learning innovation. Therefore, it is necessary to improve teacher competency and optimize the use of educational technology to improve the quality and meaningfulness of Fiqh learning.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents both challenges and strategic opportunities for the field of education, including the strengthening of the Islamic Education Curriculum. This study aims to analyze the actualization of Islamic Education curriculum values from the perspective of the philosophy of science in the era of artificial intelligence, based on an empirical study conducted at SMPN 4 Banjar City. The focus of the analysis is directed toward how the ontological, epistemological, and axiological values of Islamic Education are internalized and adapted within learning practices that increasingly engage with AI-based technologies. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of curriculum documents and instructional practices. The findings indicate that the actualization of Islamic Education curriculum values positions students not only as learners who are faithful and morally grounded, but also as rational and critical agents capable of utilizing AI technology in an ethical and responsible manner. From the perspective of the philosophy of science, the ontological dimension is reflected in the reinforcement of the understanding of human nature as rational and moral beings; the epistemological dimension is evident in the integration of sources of knowledge derived from revelation, reason, and technology; while the axiological dimension is manifested in value orientations toward public benefit (maslahah), justice, and social responsibility. This study affirms that Islamic Education in the era of artificial intelligence should not adopt a resistant stance toward technology, but rather undertake a reflective and critical reconstruction of values in order to remain relevant, humanistic, and transformative in shaping students’ character amid digital disruption.

Abstract

The fashion industry is rapidly evolving with the support of digital technologies such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD). This study evaluates the effectiveness of using the Richpeace Digital application in garment pattern grading among students of the Fashion Education Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Medan. The method employed is a quantitative pre-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group using the CAD application and a control group using manual methods. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use of Richpeace Digital increased the speed of grading pattern completion by up to 50% compared to manual methods dditionally, the accuracy of the patterns improved significantly with a reduction in measurement errors. Reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value above 0.90, indicating highly reliable instruments, while normality tests showed normally distributed data. Simple linear regression analysis revealed a positive, albeit weak (R = 0.155), relationship between basic computer skills and the effectiveness of CAD application use. The application also significantly enhanced students' technical skills and motivated their interest in digital pattern grading. This study recommends integrating the Richpeace. An abstranct is a brief summary of a research article, thesis, review, conference  proceeding or any-depth analysis of a particular subject or disipline, and is often used to help the reader quickly ascertain the paper purposes. Abstract

Amidst the rapid currents of the postmodern era, children's media narratives no longer present a singular, black-and-white reality; rather, they are replete with fragmentation of meaning, moral ambiguity, and cultural hybridity. The animated series Boboiboy emerges as a popular culture artifact exercising strong dominance in constructing the imagination of children across the Nusantara region regarding the figure of the "hero." This study aims to deconstruct the concept of heroism depicted in Boboiboy and analyze its pedagogical implications for primary education. This research is a qualitative study grounded in the philosophy of science within the postpositivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth observation (thick description) of the audio-visual texts of the Boboiboy Galaxy series, and subsequently analyzed using hermeneutic approaches and critical discourse analysis. The research results reveal three fundamental findings Ontologically, Boboiboy deconstructs the singular subject into a fragmented subject (split subject) through the elemental split mechanism, reflecting a fluid and situational postmodern identity; Epistemologically, there is a shift in the validity of power from internal virtue (virtue ethics) toward technological determinism mediated by "power spheres."; Axiologically, the implications for primary education demand a transformation from a pedagogy of value transmission toward critical media literacy. Educators need to facilitate students in navigating the moral values behind technological simulacra, positioning popular culture as a space for critical dialectics within the classroom

Abstract

The enforcement of physical distancing measures to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 led the Indonesian government to implement remote learning. This situation created challenges for students’ academic well-being due to changes in their social environments. Grounded in Basic Psychological Needs Theory (BPNT; Deci & Ryan, 2000, 2017), the present study examined a model linking social support (from family, friends, and significant others) to school-related subjective well-being through the satisfaction of basic psychological needs (autonomy, relatedness, and competence) during the COVID-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 665 Indonesian students who participated in home-based learning. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. The single-level model analysis indicated that social support was strongly associated with school-related subjective well-being, and this relationship was mediated by basic psychological needs. Further multiple-mediator analyses revealed that satisfaction of autonomy, competence, and relatedness needs mediated the relationship between family and friend support and school-related subjective well-being. However, basic psychological needs did not mediate the effect of significant others’ support on subjective well-being. These findings contribute to the literature on psychological well-being by highlighting the mediating role of basic psychological needs in the relationship between different sources of social support and students’ school-related subjective well-being.

Abstract

Gender inequality and the vulnerability of women and children remain structural and cultural problems in many regions of Indonesia, including Bima. Various government policies have not yet been fully effective, as their implementation does not always align with the local values embedded in society. Nggusu Waru, a form of local wisdom from Bima that embodies eight moral principles related to knowledge, integrity, social responsibility, and the protection of vulnerable groups, actually holds significant potential as an ethical framework for promoting more gender-just social development. However, these values have experienced a decline in meaning due to modernization and the lack of cultural regeneration. This conceptual article proposes the integration of Nggusu Waru into social development through processes of value re-articulation, participatory approaches, and mainstreaming into village-level policies. Theoretical analysis indicates that gender inequality can only be addressed effectively when structural change is accompanied by transformation in social norms. By integrating gender theory, social norms theory, cultural capital, and Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology, this article formulates a conceptual model that positions Nggusu Waru as a value-based foundation for strengthening the protection of women and children, enhancing women’s participation in the public sphere, and fostering a new, more egalitarian social culture. This integration is not merely an effort at cultural preservation, but a pragmatic, contextual, and sustainable strategy of social transformation aimed at creating a women-friendly and child-caring environment within Bima society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive learning media based on the CapCut application on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Laloeha. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects were 30 students, all of whom were sampled through a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest), student response questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Paired Sample t-Test, and N-Gain test. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes increased from 68.40 in the pretest to 89.20 in the posttest. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which means there was a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the use of CapCut-based learning media. The N-Gain test showed that 66.7% of students were in the great improvement category, 30% in the medium category, and 3.3% in the low category. Furthermore, the questionnaire results showed that students responded very positively to the use of CapCut, particularly in increasing motivation, understanding the material, and creating a pleasant learning environment.
