Abstract

The message of Christian education represents a theological and educational mandate rooted in the Great Commission and the concept of missio Dei, which positions the entire world and all humanity as the field of God-centered education. However, previous studies have tended to separate the geographical and relational dimensions of educational engagement, resulting in the absence of an integrative educational and theological framework, particularly within the context of Indonesia’s pluralistic society. This study aims to construct an integrative theological framework regarding the field of ministry of the message of Christ based on spatial (where) and relational (to whom) dimensions. The method used is a literature review with a content analysis approach and theological-conceptual synthesis of biblical sources and contemporary theological and missiological literature. The results of the study show that the field of gospel ministry covers the whole world, local communities, and daily life, while the goal of the ministry includes all human beings, especially marginalized communities and pluralistic societies. Evangelism is realized holistically through living witness, acts of love, and verbal preaching. In conclusion, the field of evangelical ministry is universal, relational, and existential, and affirms that every believer actively participates in the missio Dei through a transformative contextual life in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect of the national education system that aims to shape students not only to excel academically, but also to have good attitudes, behavior, and morals. This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education management at MTs Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka and its impact on the formation of positive attitudes and behavior of seventh-grade students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, while data validity was tested using triangulation of sources, methods, and time. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of character education management at MTs Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka runs systematically through four management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Planning is carried out in a participatory manner and is integrated into the Madrasah Work Plan and dormitory program. Organization is demonstrated through a clear division of roles between the madrasah principal, teachers, and dormitory supervisors. The implementation of character education is carried out through the integration of values in learning, educator role models, and daily habits. Evaluation is carried out continuously using an educational, academic, and dormitory approach. The implementation of character education management has a positive impact on improving students' discipline, religiosity, responsibility, and social behavior. This study concludes that integrated and sustainable character education management is effective in shaping students' character holistically.

Abstract

At present, legal protection of property has not been normatively integrated with public legal literacy, resulting in legal certainty over ownership rights that has not been effective in preventing disputes and violations of property rights at the social level. This study aims to propose the concept of an Integrative Theory of Property Law and Social Literacy for the Protection of Community Property Rights. The research employs a conceptual approach through literature review and normative legal analysis to synthesize agrarian law concepts, social literacy, and legal protection theory in order to formulate an integrative model of community property rights protection that is effective both juridically and socially. The findings indicate that the protection of property rights within the Indonesian property law system has not yet been fully effective, as it remains heavily reliant on a normative–formal approach that emphasizes administrative legality, while the dimensions of social literacy and the legal culture of society have not been systematically integrated. Through a conceptual reconstruction based on the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA), this study affirms that property rights are not merely a juridical status guaranteed by the state, but also a social relationship that requires public understanding, awareness, and active participation for legal protection to function in practice. Social literacy is shown to serve as a preventive protective instrument that strengthens certainty and justice of property rights prior to the emergence of disputes, while simultaneously acting as a bridge between legal norms and social practices. Therefore, an integrative theoretical model that combines agrarian law, socio-legal literacy, and legal culture offers a more substantive, collaborative, and sustainable framework for the protection of property rights, and provides a theoretical and normative foundation for policy development, legal education, and reform of the property rights protection system in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Quran memorization skills in early childhood through the talaqqi method at TK IT Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka. Quran memorization at an early age plays a crucial role in instilling Islamic values and laying a child's religious foundation, but its implementation often faces challenges in the form of differences in children's concentration, memory, and learning readiness. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with teachers, principals, and parents, as well as documentation of the memorization program. The results show that the application of the talaqqi method combined with systematic repetition (muroja'ah) can gradually improve children's memorization skills through teacher role models, daily habits, and ongoing mentoring. Supporting factors include a religious school environment, teacher competence, and parental involvement, while inhibiting factors include limited children's concentration, individual differences in abilities, and a lack of consistent mentoring at home. This study concludes that the talaqqi method makes a significant contribution to the development of Quran memorization skills in early childhood when applied consistently and collaboratively.

Abstract

This study analyzes how Indonesian students construct persuasive arguments in the context of the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) as a writing partner. The study employed an explanatory sequential mixed methods design involving linguistic analysis of 200 persuasive texts and in-depth interviews with 20 students. Quantitative findings indicate a dominance of inductive reasoning, a weak connection between claims and evidence, and a low use of warrants and backing. Style patterns exhibit high repetition, minimal metaphors, and homogenous sentence structures consistent with AI output. Qualitative findings reveal a reliance on AI that produces surface coherence but does not strengthen argumentative logic. Synthesis of the findings resulted in the AI-Assisted Persuasive Reasoning Framework, which explains how AI enhances the mechanical aspects of writing but tends to weaken rhetorical originality and depth of reasoning. The results emphasize the need to develop persuasive writing pedagogy based on critical digital literacy so that students can utilize AI without losing their academic identity.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, particularly the emergence of the metaverse, has fundamentally reshaped adolescents’ patterns of social interaction, cultural practices, and moral frameworks. While the metaverse provides new opportunities for learning and communication, it also raises serious concerns regarding moral degradation, especially among high school students as digital natives who are highly vulnerable to global influences. The weakening of local cultural values, which have long served as moral compasses, further exacerbates this condition. Therefore, an integrative approach is required to safeguard moral resilience in digital environments. This study aims to measure the level of students’ moral degradation, analyze the relationship between moral perception and moral construction, and explore strategies for revitalizing local wisdom as a mitigation effort. An embedded mixed methods design was employed. Quantitative data were collected from 202 students through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed with Jamovi 2.6.44 using descriptive statistics, reliability testing, Pearson correlation, and linear regression. Qualitative data were obtained from semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with teachers and cultural figures, then analyzed through thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke’s procedures. The results show that both moral perception and moral construction are categorized as high. However, the significant correlation (r = 0.675; p < 0.001) reveals a gap between moral awareness and behavior. Qualitative findings emphasize that local values such as Maja Labo Dahu and Nggahi Rawi Pahu have potential as cultural filters, though their application in virtual interactions remains inconsistent.

Abstract

The Relationship Between Principals' Managerial Behavior and Teachers' Work Stress: Systematic Review Literature.

Abstract

Etymologically the ngarosul ritual is a local tradition that centers on appointing an individual deemed religiously competent to lead prayers for a person who is approaching death. The core of this tradition lies in the community’s spiritual supplication: if the person being prayed for is still granted the opportunity to live, it is hoped that they will be swiftly restored to health; however, if their time has come, it is expected that their passing will occur peacefully and without obstacles. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the Islamic educational values embedded within the practice of the ngarosul tradition in Cibeureum, Tasikmalaya. The researcher employed a qualitative approach through field research to examine this phenomenon empirically. Data were collected comprehensively through observation and in-depth interviews with informants, as well as direct engagement with the research setting and the ritual activities taking place. Based on the analysis, the study found that the ngarosul practice embodies strong religious and educational values that significantly influence the spiritual life of the local community. This tradition not only functions as a ritual expression but also serves as a medium for internalizing Islamic teachings, particularly those relating to tawakkul (trust in God), sincere effort, respect for the processes of life and death, and the reinforcement of social solidarity within the community

Abstract

Sexual violence against female students in Islamic boarding schools constitutes a serious violation of human rights and reveals structural deficiencies in legal protection within religious-based educational institutions. This study examines the scope and effectiveness of criminal and civil legal protection for female students as victims of sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The research employs a normative juridical method, using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Primary legal materials include the Indonesian Criminal Code, Law No. 12 of 2022 on the Crime of Sexual Violence, Law No. 35 of 2014 on Child Protection, and regulations concerning witness and victim protection. The case approach focuses on the Decision of the Central Java High Court Number 238/PID.SUS/2025/PT SMG, which affirmed the conviction of a pondok pesantren caretaker for committing sexual violence against female students and imposed both imprisonment and restitution obligations. The case illustrates that criminal legal protection in Indonesia predominantly emphasizes punitive sanctions against perpetrators, reflecting a retributive justice orientation. However, the implementation of civil legal protection, particularly victims’ rights to restitution, compensation, and long-term psychological recovery, remains limited and inconsistently enforced. The study finds that unequal power relations, institutional protection of perpetrators, and social stigma continue to hinder victims’ access to comprehensive justice. This research concludes that effective legal protection requires an integrated framework combining criminal accountability, civil liability of perpetrators and educational institutions, and a victim-centered recovery approach, supported by strengthened state supervision over Islamic boarding schools to ensure substantive justice for female students.
