Abstract

Sekawan Pharmacy, located at Jl. Tlogosari Raya II/47 H, Tlogosari Kulon, Pedurungan District, Semarang City, Central Java, has not yet implemented a structured drug procurement plan based on a forward-looking drug needs analysis. Drug data recording is still conducted manually, with some records managed using Microsoft Excel. However, the use of Microsoft Excel for drug data recording is limited, as it only includes basic information such as drug name, purchase price, drug type, unit, and expiration date. Manual data recording presents several challenges, including errors in checking drug availability and inventory, as well as inaccuracies in monitoring stock fluctuations. These issues often result in discrepancies in final stock calculations and stock shortages when needed. A Community Service Program was carried out through the development of a web-based drug inventory information system and training on its usage to address the needs of Sekawan Pharmacy in improving its stock management efficiency. This initiative aims to enhance the pharmacy's ability to meet consumer demands promptly. The implementation process of the information system and training proceeded smoothly. Users were able to operate the system effectively, as it is designed to be easy to understand and use.

Abstract

Dusun Kutu is an area surrounded by tidal swamp land. Approximately 80% of the tidal swamp land is used by the community for rice farming. The area around the farm is overgrown with water hyacinth weed (Eichhornia crassipes), which hurts the environment and society. One effort to overcome this problem is to process water hyacinth into liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The Service Team, consisting of lecturers and UMAHA KKN-T students, made this fertilizer as a program to overcome and reduce environmental problems related to water hyacinth. This program is implemented by making water hyacinth POC through a fermentation process with the addition of EM4 and a brown sugar solution. Then, POC products were socialized regarding the use of water hyacinth as a liquid organic fertilizer in the Dusun Kutu Community. The service team succeeded in making a POC with the main ingredient being water hyacinth and providing education on how to make and use it to the community around Dusun Kutu.

Abstract

Depression, anxiety, and behavioral disorders are among the leading causes of illness and disability among adolescents. Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death among those aged 15-29 years. Thus, handling mental health conditions in adolescents is very important because it can impact their well-being not only during adolescence but also in their adult lives. Adolescents who experience mental health problems tend to have difficulties in various aspects of life, including learning, interacting socially, and coping with emotional stress. Good mental health in adolescents is also closely related to their ability to build healthy relationships in adulthood. One method that has been proven effective in improving the psychological well-being of adolescents is through group counseling. Abstract

Clean water management in rural areas has not provided optimal results. The applied water tariffs are not enough to cover the required production and operational costs. The existing prices are still based on agreements with the community, who tend to want the lowest rates. Reasonable pricing needs to be re-evaluated so that all production and operational costs can be covered, and there is a reserve budget for development. This community service activity involves assistance in calculating clean water tariffs with the managers of the Independent Water Management Organization for the Rural Clean Water Supply System (OKAM SPAMDes) Ngudi Tirto in Kebonromo Hamlet, Giripurwo Village, Girimulyo District, Kulon Progo Regency. Assistance begins with the collection of financial data, which includes income and expenditure budgets. The determination of water tariffs based on these data refers to Permendagri Number 21 of 2020. The data used for analysis are financial reports and water usage by SPAMDES Ngudi Tirto customers in 2023. The calculation results will be presented at the next meeting through routine group meetings. The minimum reasonable basic clean water tariff price is IDR. 6,500/m³, which was previously only Rp. 5,000/m³. OKAM Ngudi Tirto now understands the calculation of the water tariff to cover operational costs and obtain profit from the SPAMDes.

Abstract

Mental health is an important aspect of individual well-being, especially in the school environment. Good mental health can enhance psychological well-being, quality of life, and individual health, and also support students' academic performance. However, one issue that often arises is bullying. Both victims and perpetrators can suffer from bullying. Peer support plays a key role in preventing bullying in schools. Peers can be a source of emotional support for bullying victims, build positive relationships with all students at school, practice positive attitudes, thus becoming role models for other students, and raise awareness about the impact of bullying. The bullying prevention program involved 76 elementary school students from grades 4 to 6 in Malang Regency. The activities consist of three stages. The preparation stage involves conducting an assessment to identify the analysis. The psychoeducation is adapted to the student's development stage. The results show an increase in understanding of the role of peer support in bullying prevention.
