Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping the character and personality of individuals and society, so that it becomes one of the determinants of national progress. The Minister of Education and Culture Regulation stipulates that currently one of the focuses of education in Indonesia is developing a student profile based on Pancasila values. The Pancasila Student Profile is an innovative step in improving the quality of education, especially student character. This study aims to determine the application of self-regulated learning to strengthen the Pancasila student profile at Special Schools (SLB) C in Central Java. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the study indicate that in this study, Self-Regulated Learning refers to the abilities of students at SLB C shown through three phases, namely the planning phase (forethought phase), the performance control phase (performance control phase), and the self-reflection phase (self reflection phase). The planning phase is constrained because students do not yet have the independence to prepare a study plan to achieve their goals. The work control phase is difficult to do because students have difficulty concentrating to achieve learning goals, are not yet able to manage their own study time, and measure their learning success independently. The self-reflection phase is still difficult to do because students have difficulty in evaluating their own learning performance and do not yet have the initiative to achieve learning goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik behavior contract untuk mengurangi perilaku merokok pada peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen yaitu yang menggunakan dua kelompok (kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol). Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 62 peserta didik, dengan sampel sebanyak 20 peserta didik. pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket perilaku merokok. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan skor rata-rata pada sampel eksperimen 94% menurun sebesar 68,6% yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keefektifan layanan konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik behavior contract. Sedangkan pada sampel kontrol skor rata-rata pretest pada sampel eksperimen 79,8% menjadi 74,5%, hal ini menunjukkan penurunan sebesar 5,3%, yang menyatakan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok pada sampel kontrol tidak seefektif pada sampel eksperimen jika tidak menggunakan teknik behavior contract.

Abstract

The Sexual Bullying Questionnaire (SeBuQu) is an instrument developed to assess students' understanding of sexual violence at SMPN 30 Malang. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable sexual bullying questionnaire instrument using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The objective is for the validated instrument (SeBuQu) to be usable by counselors to assess students' understanding of sexual bullying in schools. The method used to validate this instrument is Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results of this study indicate that all questionnaire items significantly contribute to the measured construct, understanding sexual bullying, as confirmed through CFA. The analysis shows that this instrument has a good goodness-of-fit, indicating that the proposed model is valid. Through the use of this instrument, it is hoped that counselors can take a more proactive role in educating students about sexual violence, fostering a safer school environment, and reducing incidents of sexual bullying among adolescents. Future research could focus on adapting and applying this instrument in different school contexts and exploring factors that influence students' understanding of sexual violence.

Abstract

Integrative Thematic Learning is an educational approach that integrates various competencies from different subjects into a specific theme. This theme is current, closely related to the students' world, and present in their daily lives. This study aims to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of integrative thematic teaching materials in elementary schools over a decade. Using a quantitative meta-analysis method, data were obtained from various databases identified based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the validity of integrative thematic teaching materials reached 81%, while their effectiveness was 86%, and practicality was 85%. These findings indicate that the teaching materials have a high capability to enhance student learning performance and support their use in everyday learning processes. These findings provide a strong foundation for the development and implementation of curriculum teaching materials at the elementary level, as well as improving the quality of teaching and learning outcomes. Therefore, this study makes an important contribution to policymakers, educators, and curriculum developers in efforts to improve the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in promoting multicultural sensitivity and inclusivity in education. Using the PRISMA framework, 71 primary articles were analyzed from ERIC, ProQuest, Scopus, and Web of Science. Findings indicate that AI-based instructional media outperform conventional methods in improving cultural representation and reducing implicit biases. However, challenges such as algorithmic bias and unequal access persist, underscoring the need for ethical frameworks and culturally responsive pedagogies. This research highlights AI's potential to foster adaptive learning environments, enhance engagement, and address educational inequalities. Recommendations emphasize the importance of ethical AI implementation to support equitable and inclusive practices in multicultural education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis inovasi, keunggulan bersaing dan kreatifitas terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada salon treatment nail gel Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada Salon treatmen nail gel di Singaraja dengan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel, ini menandakan semakin banyak inovasi yang dimiliki suatu usaha maka akan meningkatkan keberhasilan usaha tersebut. Keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada Salon Treatmen Nail Gel di Singaraja nilai t-hitung > t-tabel, ini menandakan semakin baik keunggulan bersaing yang dimiliki perusahaan maka akan meningkatkan keberhasilan usaha. Kreatifitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada Salon Treatmen Nail Gel di Singaraja dengan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel, ini menandakan semakin baik kreatifitas yang dimiliki oleh para karyawan maka akan meningkatkan keberhasilan usaha.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of the power of two type cooperative learning model on learning interest and learning outcomes of class XI OTKP students at SMK PAB 2 Helvethia, as well as to determine the relationship between learning interest and student learning outcomes. The research method used was purposive sampling, with a sample of one class consisting of 32 students. Data collection was done through questionnaires and tests, which included pre-test and post-test. This research took place during one semester. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in learning interest, with an average learning interest score of 79.84. The average pre-test and post-test scores were 71.15 and 86.62 respectively. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test showed that the t-count for learning interest was 10.668 (t-table = 1.69), while for pre-test and post-test, the t-count was 5.492 (t-table = 1.69). The correlation test resulted in an r-count of 0.620 (r-table = 0.349), which indicates a positive and significant relationship between learning interest and learning outcomes.The conclusion of this study is that the application of the power of two type cooperative learning model has a positive and significant influence on students' interest in learning and learning outcomes. The findings provide practical implications for teachers and educational institutions in applying learning methods that can effectively improve students' interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Instagram social media on the dress style of students of the University of Bengkulu. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative studies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation of Instagram uploads. The purposive sampling technique was used to select relevant participants, namely active students aged 18–25 years from three faculties at the University of Bengkulu (Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences) who actively use Instagram and often post fashion-related content. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman method, which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, as well as triangulation to increase the validity of the findings. In sociological analysis, rational choice theory is used to understand how students adapt fashion trends on Instagram by considering various factors such as suitability, financial ability, and social acceptance. The findings show that Instagram is the main source of inspiration for students in determining their dressing style, especially related to Korean style trends. Nonetheless, students demonstrate critical ability to select and modify these trends to suit personal preferences and socio-cultural contexts. Students develop a variety of adaptive strategies, from financial management to negotiation with environmental norms, to express a unique yet relevant fashion identity. It is hoped that this research will contribute to a broader understanding of the role of social media in shaping student identities and behaviors in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital literacy equips prospective teachers with essential information and communication technology (ICT) skills, while interpersonal communication enables them to interact effectively with students and the community. However, the impact of these skills on the readiness of prospective teachers, especially in the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program, has not been widely studied. This study attempts to examine how digital literacy influences students' readiness to become teachers in this study program. A quantitative approach was used in this study, the data collection process used the help of an online questionnaire with a population of 2019 and 2020 PTO students with a sample determined by the Slovin method of 62 students. The results showed an R2 value of 0.389, which means 38.9% of the variance in teacher readiness can be explained by digital literacy. In addition, a positive correlation (R = 0.623) is shown in the relationship between variables. Meanwhile, the coefficient B of digital literacy is 0.373. This indicates that as the digital literacy and interpersonal communication skills of PTO students of Semarang State University increase, their readiness to become teachers also increases. The conclusion from this study is that digital literacy and interpersonal communication have a significant effect on the readiness of prospective teachers of PTO students of Semarang State University.

Abstract

The digital marketing industry in the hospitality sector needs a creative workforce that is able to integrate technical skills with strategic innovation. The Teaching Industry program implemented by the Graphic Design Study Program of Widyatama University in collaboration with Hotel Malaka is designed to overcome the gap between the competencies of graphic design students and industrial needs. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Industry program in developing the technical competence of Diploma 4 Graphic Design students through various learning approaches. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis (logbook, portfolio, and performance evaluation). The study involved 17 students working on digital marketing projects, including content planning, graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management during the Odd Semester 2022-2023 to the Odd Semester 2024-2025. The results of the study show that 80% of students have experienced an increase in technical competence, especially in producing visual content, branding strategies, and social media management. Performance evaluation showed that branding design obtained the highest score (86.8), followed by event content creation (85.6). Work-Based Learning, Experiential Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Project-Based Learning approaches have proven to be effective in supporting student skill development. This program has successfully prepared students for the world of work in the creative industry sector, especially digital marketing. This Teaching Industry learning model can be adopted by other educational institutions to answer the industry's need for skilled and innovative creative workers.
