Gentala Journal Basic Education is a periodical scientific journal published in Indonesian language published by the Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Primary School Teacher Education Study Program twice a year in June and December. Abstract

ABSTRACT _ This article aims to explore and analyze the obstacles that occur in implementing local wisdom values in elementary schools. The implementation of local wisdom values in elementary schools can serve as a reference, guideline, and direction for students in speaking, acting, and behaving in accordance with Indonesian society identity. The values contained in local wisdom can include religious values, tolerance, mutual cooperation, and care for the environment. Implementation of the values contained in local wisdom can be implemented through a number of positive activities that lead the character formation of students in a better direction. The obstacles in implementing local wisdom values can come from internal factors such as inner discouragement and demotivation, and external factors such as an inadequate environment. This article uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this research were field observations and interviews.

Abstract

Students' learning achievement is caused by two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include students' interests, talents, motivation and concentration, while external factors involve the role of family, friends and the school environment. The researcher has an interest in investigating how Kahoot Media Technology can be integrated in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools. This research aims to evaluate the impact of integrating Kahoot Media in Islamic Religious Education learning. This research uses a mixed approach (mix method). There are several variables that are the focus of the research, namely responses and results, involving 25 students in class VI. The data analysis process was carried out using descriptive statistics. The integration of Kahoot Media was carried out at State Elementary School 146/I Jambi City. In analyzing responses and evaluation results, this research shows that the majority of students gave a "good" assessment of the integration of Kahoot Media in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This research is a type of development research and the model used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). This research was conducted at the 203/VI Rantau Panjang XII State Elementary School. This research data was obtained from media validation, language validation, material validation and practitioner validation. Apart from that, research data was also obtained from student response questionnaires as well as interviews and observations of Traditional Leaders, teachers and students. The results of this research show that the validation test from several expert assessments obtained a percentage of (1) media validation of 82.14% with very good criteria; (2) Language validation is 78.88% with good criteria; (3) material validation of 79.84% with good criteria; (4) practitioner validation was 76.81% with good criteria. Then it will be tested on students through a small group trial to see the readability of teaching materials based on the local wisdom of Silekpudon using the Anyflip application and the large group test received a student response rating of 89% with good criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the development of materials for the development of teaching materials based on local wisdom in Silek Penyudon using the Anyflip application in elementary schools can be used in learning at school.

Abstract

Pancasila is a guideline in state life, namely as a basis, ideology, outlook on life, soul of the nation, national personality, ideals and goals of the nation, and the philosophy of life of the Indonesian nation. Diversity provides reinforcement in achieving the ideals of the nation, and supports the implementation of an independent curriculum to realize students who apply the values of Pancasila. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Pancasila values towards diversity as an effort to strengthen Indonesian human identity. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of obtaining detailed information about the appreciation and implementation of Pancasila values. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study is the Implementation of Appreciation of Pancasila Values for Diversity has been carried out at SDN 15/IV Jambi as an effort to strengthen Indonesian human identity

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in class IV UPTD SDN 2 Purwaharja Banjar City, which is included in the IKM implementing school in the Independent Change category. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, while the data is collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques as well as literacy studies. In the interview technique, the researcher determines the respondents to collect data, namely the principal, grade IV teacher, PJOK teacher, and PAI teacher. While in the observation technique, researchers obtained data from class teachers who filled out observation sheets. The data that has been collected is then analyzed and conclusions are drawn. The results of this study found that the Education Unit already knows how to plan the implementation of P5, the stages of implementing P5 and how to evaluate the implementation of P5 but not yet comprehensive and in-depth so that it affects the results that have not been maximized. In this study also found supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at UPTD SDN 2 Purwaharja Kota Banjar, The supporting factors are the collaboration of all stakeholders, the school environment, and the supportive culture of the surrounding community. While the inhibiting factors are the diverse characteristics of students, teachers who do not understand and master the concepts and technical implementation, as well as the limitations of the implementation.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Pancasila student profile in character education as a concretization of the identity of the Indonesian nation. This research was conducted in class V of SD Negeri 205 Jambi City. This research uses a qualitative research approach with the type of phenomenological research, using three methods in data collection, namely observation, interviews and document study. The results of this research show that the Pancasila student profile is a formulation of national education ideals based on character education, the abilities expected in this Pancasila student profile include having noble character, independence, critical reasoning, creativity, mutual cooperation and global diversity. . Abstract

Education has a role in shaping students' character to become better individuals. Building character in students, especially elementary school students, is the right effort because elementary school is the most basic root of education towards student learning success at the next level. This research aims to find out, analyze and describe the process of implementing scouting game activities and the implications of scouting game activities for developing the honest, disciplined and friendly character of students at SDN Batuceper 1. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects in this research were students in grades 3 and 4, scout trainers, scout leaders, and the principal of SDN Batuceper 1. Data collection used in this research was observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Validation of data in this research is by technical triangulation. The results of this research found that the overall scouting game process was conditioning before starting the game, explaining the rules of the game, the game process, and explaining the purpose of the game. The games played were drawing together, white water rafting, and forming a line. Based on the results of the questionnaire, 85% of students answered correctly and 15% of students answered incorrectly. So it can be concluded that this Scouting Game shows significant implications for developing students' honest, disciplined and friendly character.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the transformation of the Civic Education (PKn) paradigm in elementary schools, as well as identifying the strategies and innovations needed to implement it effectively. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design at UPT SPF SDN 101990 Bangun Purba. The results of the research show that there is a transformation of the Civics paradigm in elementary schools, from the old paradigm which focuses on mastering civic knowledge to a new paradigm which emphasizes the development of democratic and participatory citizen character. This transformation is characterized by an emphasis on developing critical thinking skills, problem solving and democratic decision making, as well as developing the character of participatory citizens. This research concludes that there needs to be a change in the implementation of Civics in elementary schools, from the old paradigm which is indoctrinative in nature to a new paradigm which emphasizes the development of civic competence. The implication is the need to increase the understanding and skills of class teachers in Civics learning content, adapt the curriculum and teaching materials, as well as support from schools, parents and the community to create a learning environment that is conducive to the development of civic competence.

Abstract

The ability to read comprehension becomes very important for students to understand the lessons in school. To complete a mathematical story, a full understanding of the subject matter is required so that the student can answer the question correctly. The aim of this study was to find out if there was a relationship between reading ability and understanding and the ability to solve mathematical stories. The type of research used is quantitative research with correlational approaches. The results showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.014, meaning that there is a relationship or correlation between the variables x and y. The product moment correlation test showed that the Pearson Correlation value is 0.554 which means a positive relationship. From the data test, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the ability to read comprehension and ability to complete mathematical stories of students V grade SDN Kemayoran 13.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive learning media based on Google Slides on material on classifying animals based on type of food and to determine the feasibility of interactive learning media based on Google Slides on material on classifying animals based on type of food. The research was conducted in class V-C at SDN Petir 4, Tangerang City with a total of 40 students. The method used is R&D (research and development) with the 4D research model (define, design, development, disseminate) developed by Thiagarajan. The average percentage obtained from material experts I and II was 91.67% with a very reasonable interpretation. The average percentage obtained from media experts I and II was 90.67% with a very reasonable interpretation. The student response questionnaire obtained an average of 93% with a very decent interpretation. Based on the percentage of research results that have been mentioned, it can be concluded that this research has produced an interactive learning media product based on Google Slides which contains material on classifying animals based on their type of food with categories that are very suitable for use in learning activities in class V elementary schools.
