Abstract

Researchers will conduct this research aiming to improve the numeracy skills of children aged 4-5 years through the media of saving corn at Pembina II Sooko Public Kindergarten, Mojokerto. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out using two cycles of action. The subjects of this study were 26 children from Group A1 of TK Negeri Pembina II Sooko. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the numeracy skills of children aged 4-5 years through the "Modified Congklak" media. The results obtained in Cycle I were 30.8% due to several causal factors, namely the child was still confused if the number taken was 5 but the corn that was put into the glass cup was less than 5. So in Cycle II it is hoped that it can be followed up by motivating children through stories and giving rewards, training children repeatedly, and doing more interesting counting activities. In Cycle II, obtaining 76.9% stated that it had reached an indicator of success. The learning process using Modified Congklak media can improve the numeracy skills of children aged 4-5 years. Thus it can be concluded that through Modified Congklak media it can improve numeracy skills in group A1 children at Pembina II Sooko Public Kindergarten.

Abstract

Humanism is a concept that has an essence that assumes that humans have potential that can be developed. This paper aims to analyze the essence of Islamic Education as a means to develop the concept of humanism which is correlated with Islamic teachings. This research uses a qualitative method and takes the form of library research that traces various sources of literature, books, and scientific journals related to the concept of humanism and Islamic education. The results of this study reveal that the concept of humanism is in harmony with Islamic education. This relevance includes that humans are born in a state of nature, interpret humans as beings who have potential that can be developed, and are egalitarian to every human being. Islamic educational institutions have a big role and responsibility in carrying out the concept of humanism which is assisted by family, environment, and social community.

Abstract

The goal of national education mandates three important messages from other messages namely faith, piety and noble character. The mandate of Law No. 20 of 2003 needs to be implemented in an activity called education. Education that is oriented towards the three components of this goal tends to be oriented towards the realm of Sufism as its embodiment. Therefore, this study examines how the construction of Sufistic education is focused on early childhood. Remembering that educating children is like carving on stone, it will be very easily imprinted in their soul. This qualitative research uses the literature study method to describe data that is interpreted from the ideas of Sufism related to children's education to be contextualized in building a style of Sufistic education. As part of the research, content analysis techniques were carried out in interpreting the finding data. The results of this study indicate that the concept of tazkiyatun nafs functions as a spiritual madrasah (ribath) by training one's soul through mujahadah and riyadhah so that the soul is clean. The implication of Sufistic education for early childhood is that a child is expected to know (ma'rifah) and love (mahabbah) only to God.

Abstract

Character for a child must be accustomed from an early age, children who are accustomed to good character values will care about the surrounding environment, and their social life will develop well too, they will be accustomed to maintaining personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness. This study aims to measure the relationship between project-based learning and the value of environmentally caring character in early childhood. This study used a descriptive method.  Qualitative is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people observed. This research aims, Attitudes and Actions to always try to prevent damage to nature. Safeguarding nature from damage. Overcoming pollution from environmental destruction and caring for the surrounding environment.  The research stage consists of three stages, including the preparation stage, the field research stage and the data analysis stage, based on the results of research from 20 children showing:   , children who show an attitude to prevent damage to nature and use their rough muscles when cleaning the environment 100%, Protecting nature from damage, Overcoming pollution from environmental destruction, Actively express ingredients 95%, Choose materials and make decisions 90%, Care about the surrounding environment, Find cause and effect and tell experience 85%. This achievement concludes that the Character Value of Environmental Care in early childhood can be done through project-based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan krativitas anak usia dini di RA Islamiyah dengan menggunakan bahan alam. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 16 orang siswa kelompok B terdiri dari 9 siswa perempuan dan 7 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada prasiklus hanya 2 anak yang berkembang sangat baik atau 12,5%, pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 6 anak yang berkembang sangat baik atau 37,5%, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan anak yang berkembang sangat baik sebanyak 13 orang atau 81,2%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan media bahan alam dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini di RA Islamiyah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a finding made by researchers regarding jaranan arts and culture as a means of playing the role of children aged 4-5 years in the Sambong hamlet area, Karangjati sub-district, Ngawi district. This research is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. The results of this study indicate that role-playing can be carried out through jaranan cultural arts activities in the form of playing the role of being a handler, caplokan or dragon snake, lumping horse, wild boar or wild boar, becoming a person possessed, and playing the role of being a pin. The purpose of this study was to determine the form, process, and supporting and inhibiting factors of jaranan cultural art as a means of playing the role of children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Akreditasi hanya sebagai sebuah formalitas belaka tanpa memahami secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Ketabang, Kecamatan Genteng, Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur khususnya di Lembaga Pos PAUD TK Tunas Harapan Bangsa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua Pos PAUD TK Tunas Harapan Bangsa Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan penelitian ini, yaitu teknik trigulasi. Teknik trigulasi diartikan sebagai teknik pengumpulan dari sumber data yang telah ada. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Miles dan Hubermen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian terhadap kekuatan dan kelemahan lembaga PAUD dalam memenuhi standar akreditasi, dengan penekanan pada aspek seperti kurikulum, fasilitas, kualifikasi staf, dan manajemen. Rekomendasi konkret untuk perbaikan atau pengembangan dalam berbagai area, baik dalam hal infrastruktur, proses pembelajaran, pengelolaan lembaga, atau keterlibatan stakeholder. Strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih efektif, peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua, dan peningkatan kualifikasi dan keterampilan staf.

Abstract

This research aims tspaceermine the effectiveness of using learning media in the form of puppet stage media to improve speaking and communication skills in playgroup children. In general, the use of puppet stage media is used to improve children's language skills, but in this research, it is used as an effort to improve speaking and communication skills in students, especially playgroup children. This research is a quantitative research using observation methods. The subjects of this research were play group students with a total of 12 children. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' speaking and communication skills after using puppet stage media. To determine the results of this research, researchers used a non-parametric test (Wilcoxon Test) with a pretest average of 7.08 and a posttest average of 18.17. The results of the analysis in this research are that there is an increase in speaking and communication skills after using puppet stage media in playgroup students.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of the case method learning model to increase student participation in ECCE laboratory management courses. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were 29 semester 5 students. The research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The data collection technique used is an observation technique. The analytical techniques used in this study use quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques with descriptive statistics. The results showed that the case method learning model can increase student participation in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of Big Book Activity-based role-playing on the social skills of children aged 5-6 years in Time Intercon Kindergarten Tutors. This study is quantitative research by paying attention to and revealing the extent of the influence of Big Book Activities-based role-playing on the social skills of children aged 5-6 years in Time Intercon Tutor Kindergarten by comparing the learning outcomes of experimental classes with control classes. The experimental class was given action (X) while the control class was given action (Y) Students involved in this study were Group B Class B1 and B2, with a total of 30 students. Class B1 is an experimental class using the learning process by role-playing using Big Book Activities, while class B2 uses conventional learning. Techniques in collecting data using research instruments in the form of indicators that will be achieved as many as 15 items, which are carried out through action tests. The statistical program used for all statistical analysis in analyzing the data obtained during the study used SPSS 20.0, using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. Based on data analysis, the post-test results of the experimental class were greater than the control class, namely 75.55 for the experimental class and 50.22 for the control class. The resulting data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The Independent Sample T Test (mean) in the experimental class was 75.55 greater than the mean in the control class of 50.22. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of big book activity-based role-playing on the social skills of children aged 5-6 years in Tk Tutor Time Intercon.
