Abstract

This research aims to describe the increase in literacy skills of young children through the storytelling method. PAUD schools were chosen as a means of cultivating literacy skills because it is hoped that by familiarizing themselves with literacy from an early age, children can improve their literacy skills as a preparation for facing the future. Literacy has a broad scope, not only talking about reading and writing letters, but also the ability to capture information with logical and critical thinking, ultimately being able to use it effectively to achieve certain goals. One method of increasing literacy in students is by using the storytelling method. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by data reduction, data presentation and data conclusions. The results of this research showed that the storytelling method could improve children's literacy skills and children not only enjoy the listening but children have the ability to tell stories.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan bermain sains mempengaruhi kemampuan klasifikasi dan berpikir kritis anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel berjumlah 30 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu 15 anak kelompok eksperimen dan 15 anak kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan penelitian yakni kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Analysis Covariance dengan bantuan SPSS. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes menggunakan instrumen dengan berpedoman pada PERMENDIKBUD No 137 Tahun 2014. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis kemampuan klasifikasi anak diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (88,6719) daripada nilai rata- rata posttest kelompok kontrol (56,4236). Sedangkan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis anak diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (84,0236) daripada nilai rata- rata posttestkelompok kontrol (56,6440). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bermain sains dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan klasifikasi dan berpikir kritis anak.Pengaruh Penerapan Bermain Sains terhadap Kemampuan Klasifikasi dan Berpikir Kritis pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education level and parenting patterns on the psychosocial development of preschool children. Research and data collection were conducted at KB-TK Daru'l Hikam Cirebon City, with the research subject being one of the parents of kindergarten students of KB-TK Daru'l Hikam Cirebon City as many as 136 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire for data on education level, parenting patterns and psychosocial development of preschool children who asked for answers from parents. This study used an observational design with a cross sectional approach, with proportional purposive random sampling. Testing the presence or absence of influence between the level of education and type of parenting on the psychosocial development of preschool children was tested with binary logistic regression analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between the respondent's education level and the child's psychosocial development where the ρ value (0.000) < α (0.05) was obtained, the type of parenting pattern had an influence on the psychosocial development of preschool children where the ρ (0.000) < α (0.05) was obtained. When tested together between the level of education and the type of parenting pattern on the psychosocial development of preschool children, the level of education does not affect the psychosocial development of preschool children where ρ (0.159) > α (0.05) is obtained, but the type of parenting pattern affects the psychosocial development of preschool children where the test results obtained ρ (0.000) < α (0.05).

Abstract

Acquiring education is crucial for attaining success in life, and top-notch education is the cornerstone for producing competent workforce. Malaysia, being one of the nations with the finest education system, places significant emphasis on early childhood education by implementing the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK). Tadika Tahfidz Nur Furqan implements individual learning methods to enhance the reading skills of children aged between 4-6 years. The ability to read is a crucial aspect of preschool education, and this study aims to examine the effectiveness of these individual learning methods in reading lessons at Tadika Tahfidz Nur Furqan. The study found that this teaching method has multiple advantages such as adapting to individual student abilities, quick progress, parental involvement, material adaptation, and the use of individual record books. However, it also has some drawbacks such as limited parental involvement, difficulty in handling student diversity, and time constraints. It is crucial for the school to focus on students with special needs and encourage parental involvement to provide a more well-rounded education. This study examines individual learning methods in early childhood education in Malaysia.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di TK IT AL Fikri merupakan ikhtiar untuk menanamkan perilaku terpuji pada diri anak, baik dalam perbuatan maupun ibadah. Perilaku terpuji bermanfaat bagi kehidupan seseorang. Lingkungan sekolah merupakan tempat anak usia dini dapat menggali lebih jauh nilai-nilai kepribadian yang diterapkan di sekolah. Pendidik bertanggung jawab dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kepribadian pada anak dan pendidik adalah teladan yang patut ditiru anak di lingkungan sekolah, baik dalam perkataan maupun perbuatan. Pembinaan karakter yang dilakukan oleh para pendidik seperti melaksanakan sholat dhuha dapat membangkitkan jiwa keagamaan pada anak dalam beribadah dan pentingnya mengajarkan sholat dhuha dapat menjadikan anak rajin sholat menjadi kebiasaan. diambil di TK IT Al Fikri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of teachers' discipline, performance, and creativity on the quality of learning. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive with 50 respondents and data analysis used, namely Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4.0). The research findings show that(1) The results of this study found that discipline positively and significantly affected performance(2) The results of this study found that discipline positively had no effect and was not significant on creativity. (3) The results of this study found that discipline positively had no effect and was not significant on the quality of learning. (4) The results of this study found that performance positively had no effect and was not significant on creativity. (5) The results of this study found that performance positively had no effect and was not significant on the quality of learning. . (6) The results of this study found that creativity positively and significantly affects the quality of learning.

Abstract

Sentra practical life merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran sentra yang mengedepankan keterampilan anak dalam melakukan aktivitasnya. Anak usia dini tentu pada hakikatnya akan menjadi generasi penerus bangsa yang diharapkan dapat membangun negara lebih baik dengan kemampuannya. Untuk itu, dalam mendukung hal tersebut pendidikan anak usia dini memberikan fasilitas untuk mendorong kemandirian anak dengan pembelajaran sentra practical life yang akan membantu anak sejak dini memiliki keterampilan dan terbiasa melakukan aktivitasnya secara mandiri tanpa bergantung kepada orang lain. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran sentra practical life yang dapat menanamkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relefan dengan penelitian atau kasus yang ditemukan. Referensi teori yang diperoleh oleh peneliti dengan studi literatur dijadikan sebagai fondasi utama. Sentra practical life secara umum sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan mandiri anak yang distimulus dengan berbagai kegiatan menarik yang menarik minat anak untuk mencoba dan membiasakan keterampilan dasarnya dengan mandiri.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of self-regulation on the social-emotional abilities of group B children at PT’s Kindergarten. The type of research used is quantitative research with a correlational approach, or non-experimental research, which is almost the same as ex facto research. This study used a sample of 20 children in group B. The instrument used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis in this study used SPSS 22. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was an influence of self-regulation on the social-emotional abilities of Group B children at PT’s Kindergarten. With a significance value (Sig.) of  0.000 less than a probability of  0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that "there is an effect of self-regulation (X) on the child's social-emotional ability (Y)". The results of the coefficient of determination in the regression model with an adjusted R2 value of 0.808 can be interpreted as indicating that 80.8 percent of children's interpersonal intelligence can be explained by self-regulation. While the remaining 19.2 percent was influenced by other variables that were not included in this research model.

Abstract

Learning or lectures carried out by universities are currently still conducting learning with two methods, namely offline learning and online learning. Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University students have studied using these two methods, but for sixth semester students learning is done online. This perception of learning through whatsapp needs to be known in order to improve the learning system carried out through whatsapp media later. This research method uses qualitative methods.  The source of the data comes from observations and interviews conducted with ten students of early childhood education at Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University. The benefits of learning through whatsapp according to students, learning feels more relaxed and flexible, important notes are still stored in whatsapp, and eases the burden on students. However, the disadvantages of learning through WhatsApp according to students are lack of focus when learning, less interactive, and mobile phone storage space that fills up quickly.

Abstract

Increasing the number of ECCE institutions must pay attention to the quality of management standards so that they become quality institutions. The purpose of this study is to know and describe education management standards based on Permendikbud number 137 of 2014 concerning ECCE standards and to determine obstacles in the implementation of education standards. This research uses a qualitative approach. While the method used is a descriptive method of evaluation analysis of the Implementation of Early Childhood Education Standards. Location of research site TK Mekar Arum Bandung. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentaries The results showed that Mekar Arum Kindergarten has conducted education in accordance with the criteria of ECCE education standards even though there is one standard that allegedly has not met the standards, namely assessment standards, while 7 other standards have met the standards in accordance with Constitution Number 137 of 2014. Obstacles in the implementation of education standards have been sought solutions together by increasing budget allocation, carrying out training and development of educators and increasing public awareness
