This study is based on preliminary observations found in the field that the low value of mastery of the social studies concept. The research aims to know the concept mastery of material technology development in society by using the picture and picture learning model assisted by audiovisual media. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Nakupia. The sample was 19 students of grade IV. The data were collected using a test in the form of multiple choices, and it was analyzed descriptively using the Gain Normalization Test to see the improvement. The results showed that using the picture and picture learning model assisted by audiovisual media showed an increase in concept mastery which was seen in students with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 90, and the N-Gain test obtained 1.00 in the high category. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the picture and picture learning model assisted by audiovisual media shows an increase in the mastery of the concept of technological development in society in grade IV SD Inpres Nakupia.

The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the role of teachers in inculcating religious characters for students with autism, (2) to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for inculcating religious characters for students with autism, (3) to describe the character traits of autistic children. This research was qualitative descriptive research. It was conducted at SLB Negeri Anim Ha Merauke.Techniques and instruments of data collection were through interviews and documentation. The data analysis used source triangulation and member check. The results showed that the teacher’s role in inculcating religious character for students with autism at SLB Negeri Anim Ha Merauke was seen in the teacher’s activities in inculcating religious character in schools through learning activities by providing understanding, teaching good habits, and the teacher became the role model for students. The students are expected to have characters that are obedient to God’s commands, polite, tolerant, friendly, and can interact in their environment. Kemampuan literasi anak berhubungan dengan kemampuan bahasa yaitu menulis dan membaca pada anak. Selama masa pandemi orang tua dituntut untuk memenuhi fasilitas dan membimbing anak di rumah. Pendidikan dan ekonomi orang tua berperan dalam hal ini. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan dan ekonomi orang tua terhadap kemampuan literasi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data digunakan instrumen kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ialah: (1) terdapat hubungan signifikan pendidikan orang tua dengan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini, (2) terdapat hubungan signifikan ekonomi orang tua dengan kemampuan literasi anak (3) terdapat hubungan signifikan pendidikan dan ekonomi orang tua dengan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini.

Implementation of the curriculum 2013 in elementary schools still faces challenges for teachers. The results of discussions with elementary school teachers in the Kuningan area, West Java, revealed that teachers still have difficulty assessing learning outcomes, but it is not yet known exactly what the actual conditions are. It must be solved to ensure the improvement of the quality of education. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the problems faced by teachers for the assessment standards in the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 in elementary schools, (2) to explain the factors that cause the problems of the assessment standards in the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 in elementary schools. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research design used descriptive case study steps. The research subjects were teachers and elementary school students at SDN 1 Manis Lor, Jalaksana Sub-District, SDN 1 Purwawinangun, Kuningan Sub-District and SDN Dukuhdalem, Japara Sub-District, Kuningan District. Data collection techniques were used by using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used refers to the analysis of qualitative research data. The results of the study show that what causes teachers to have difficulty implementing the assessment standards in the curriculum 2013 are the many aspects that must be assessed and the assessment system that seems complicated. Every child has the right to receive basic education without exception. Elementary schools provide services for all children, both normal in general and children with special needs. This argument is reinforced by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which calls for inclusive education to be very important. In fact, many elementary schools have not been able to provide services for children with special needs. Teachers feel unable to provide educational services for children with special needs who attend regular schools. This study aims to explore information about teachers' understanding of children with special needs and their types. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through interviews through the Google Form media and WhatsApp application with source triangulation. The participants were 28 teachers of four schools in Merauke city. The results showed that 92.9% of teachers already knew information about children with special needs in general. However, most of the participants cannot distinguish the characteristics of each type of crew well. This study aims to analyze learning activities to recognize letters for children aged 4–5 years. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research method used is literature study or literature study. The sources of data used are journals related to early childhood learning activities. The instrument in this research is the researcher himself (human instrument). The subjects of this study were kindergarten children aged 4–5 years. Data analysis was carried out in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study explain that learning activities to recognize letters in children aged 4–5 years are carried out through learning media, including learning activities through letter cards, learning activities through image media, learning activities through flashcard media, learning activities through letter puzzles, learning activities through media, sandpaper letters, and alphabet jumping games. This shows that children are more interested in learning when using modified card media in learning, especially for children aged 4-5 years to recognize letters. This is evidenced from the 10 journals studied using the modified card media that can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years. This study aimed at exploring the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Mindiptana district, Papua, and how it affected their morale and motivation. To explore the effect, we used a quantitative approach using survey research design. This study was guided by the following two research questions, namely: (a) does teachers’ job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on teachers’ morale at elementary schools in Mindiptana district, Southern Papua?, and (b) does teachers’ job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on teachers’ motivation at elementary schools in Mindiptana district, Southern Papua? Three quantitative questionnaires were distributed to 63 teachers. Statistical analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 for Windows and a simple linear regression analysis technique. The result revealed that elementary school teachers’ morale and motivation were predicted significantly positively by their job satisfaction. This research finding might be a critical note for education officials of Boven Digoel Regency to take strategic steps to enhance teachers’ morale and teachers’ motivation by creating a program to enhance teachers’ job satisfaction.

Madura Island has the greatest potential for the development of salt ponds in Indonesia. The great potential of salt ponds can be integrated into learning. There are many benefits and advantages to learning that integrate the local potential. The integration of the potential of salt ponds can be an effort to strengthen regional identity and character. This study aims to analyze the potential of Madura salt ponds in thematic learning in the fourth grade of elementary school. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach with the document analysis method. The Syllabus, elementary school student books, and relevant articles were analyzed as documents. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the potential of salt ponds can be integrated into fourth grade elementary school learning, namely on theme 7 subtheme 1. The research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing teaching materials for geographical characteristics and the utilization of the potential of the Madura coast based on a scientific approach for elementary students. The subjects of this study were 24 4th grade students at SDN Tlanakan 1 Pamekasan. The method used is pre-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design. The research instrument used a cognitive learning outcome evaluation sheet. Furthermore, the data on student learning outcomes was tested for normality and homogeneity. Based on the results of normality analysis, it is known that the significance value in the pre-test and post-test is 0.081, and the degree of homogeneity is 0.073. After the data is known to be normal and homogeneous, it is tested using the t test with paired samples. Based on the results of the t-test, it is known that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test values with a t-count value of -24.920 (the negative sign is not taken into account), which is greater than the t-table 2.069. The percentage of classical completeness also shows an increase in learning outcomes from the pre-test with a value of 0% to the post-test with a value of 87.5%. The influence of child growth and development is one of the parenting patterns. Negative parenting patterns from parents will also have a negative impact on children's development. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of authoritative parenting patterns on the emotional development of children aged 5–6 years. Authoritative parenting will give the child the opportunity to show that he is part of the people around him, thus having a significant influence on the child's emotional development. The research method is quantitative research with the type of research Ex-Post Facto. The population and sample of this study are 43 parents of RA Perwanida 2 Bandar Lampung students. The main data collection tool is questionnaires. Before use, the questionnaire instrument was tested to determine its validity and reliability. Then data analysis using a simple linear regression test. The results showed a simple linear regression value of the authoritative parenting pattern on children's emotional development of 11,100 with a sig value of 0.003 compared with the significance level of 0.05 (5 %). This sig value is less than 0.05 (5 %) means that there is an influence of authoritative parenting pattern variable (X) on the emotional development of children (Y) aged 5–6 years in RA Perwanida 2 Bandar Lampung with a coefficient test of determination where the magnitude is 34.6 % and as much as 65.4 % is influenced by other factors. This research hoped that parents are able to apply parenting patterns that can support the development and growth of the baby, especially the child's emotional development.
