Abstract

The process of determining the smoking ban fatwa published by Muhammadiyah uses a method based on a linguistic approach. This legal fatwa reaps pros and cons in society. There are those who think it is not wise because smoking is related to the lives of many people and is the biggest source of income for the country. There are those who think smoking causes danger and threatens the existence of life. This study aims to explain how the implementation of the Bayani method used by Muhammadiyah in determining smoking law fatwas?. Explain how the factors that led Muhammadiyah to use the bâyanÎ method?. Explain how the implications of using the baby method in avoiding the dangers and threats of smoking?. This research is qualitative descriptive by using documents as data containing epistemological values, functions, conditions and social relationships with the fatwa of the smoking law. The results of this study indicate, first, that the bayânÎ method used by Muhammadiyah is not limited to the approach of linguistic principles, but also considers scientific facts and social facts found and reported by experts. Second, the use of the bayânÎ method is due to the factors of demand and compliance with the articles of association and manhaj tarjih in responding to the phenomena of dangers and threats posed by cigarettes. Abstract

This article aims to describe the role of Ulama as Dayah managers in building an attitude of moderation and providing an ideal concept of religious moderation among students at Dayah Education institutions in Aceh. The service is carried out by mentoring which is carried out jointly with the Dayah manager. In mentoring the servant observes the application and understanding of the concept of moderation that occurs among the santri, and ends by providing material and the concept of religious moderation to the santri through presentation of the material and through group communication in the activities of the santri at the Dayah Education Institute. Prior to the introduction of the concept of religious moderation at Daya, it was found that the students had errors in understanding or interpreting the teachings of the sciences given and this had a serious impact on their practice in social and state life, such as giving birth to students who were anti-tolerant, radical so that they fell into religious organizations. terrorism organization. The results of the dedication obtained a belief that Dayah in Aceh as an Islamic education has a great responsibility in equipping his students to be moderate. Thus teachers, administrators to the head of the Islamic boarding school are expected to first have the character of religious moderation. Not a few students who are at the Aceh Dayah educational institution have been contaminated with radical mindsets because there are still many teachers or religious teachers who guide these students to instill anti-tolerant concepts due to certain interests. So that the role of Islamic education institutions is appropriate in collaborating on curriculum or SOPs for students to form the character of religious moderation. This service uses the Participation Action Research (PAR) method, namely acting as a facilitator or companion. So that the Management of the Dayah educational institution can echo and invite its students and alumni to have a moderate Muslim mindset. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran ulama sebagai pengelola Dayah dalam membangun sikap moderasi dan memberikan konsep moderasi beragama secara ideal di kalangan santri pada lembaga Pendidikan Dayah di Aceh. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan cara pendampingan yang dilakukan secara bersama dengan pengeloala Dayah. Dalam pendampingan pengabdi mengobservasi penerapan dan pemahaman konsep moderasi yang terjadi di kalangan santri, dan akhiri dengan pemberian materi dan konsep moderasi beragama kepada para santri melalaui pemaparan materi dan melalui komunikasi kelompok dalam aktivitas santri di Lembaga Pendidikan dayah. Sebelum pemberian konsep moderasi beragama dilaksanakan di Daya, para santri ditemukan adanya kesalahan dalam memahami atau memaknai ajaran ilmu yang diberikan dan hal ini berdampak serius pada pengamalanya dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan bernegara, seperti melahirkan santri-santri yang anti toleran, Radikal hingga terjerumus kedalam organisasi-organisasi terorisme. Hasil pengabdian diperoleh satu keyakinan bahwa Dayah di Aceh sebagai pendidikan islam memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam membekali satri-santrinya agar bersikap moderat. Dengan demikian pengajar, pengelola hingga kepala dayah diharapkan terlebih dahulu memiliki karakter moderasi beragama. Tidak sedikit santri-santri yang berada di Lembaga pendidikan Dayah Aceh sudah terkontaminasi dengan pola pikir radikal dikarenakan masih banyak pengajar atau ustad-ustad yang membimbing santri-santri tersebut menanamkan konsep-konsep anti toleran dikarenakan kepentingan tertentu. Sehingga dengan demikian sudah sepantasnya peran Lembaga pendidikan dayah mengkolaborasikan kurikulum atau SOP pembelajarnya pembentukan karakter moderasi beragama. Pengabdian ini Menggunakan metode dalam Partisipation Action Reasearch (PAR) yaitu berperan sebagai fasilitator atau pendamping. Sehingga Pengelolaan Lembaga pendidikan Dayah ini dapat menggaungkan dan mengajak santri-santri dan alumninya memiliki pola pikir muslim yang moderat.

Abstract

The problem of developing professional competency among teachers through scientific works is still a major issue in Indonesia. The difficulty in writing academic papers has not yet found a proper solution in every educational institution. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance in the form of Scientific Writing training to the teachers of State Madrasah Tsanawiyah and State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Singkawang City. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and writing practices. The training was conducted offline at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hall in Singkawang, with 25 participants from State Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Ibtidaiyah in Singkawang City. The results showed that after the training, 100% of the madrasah teachers had conceptual knowledge of writing scientific papers well. Their writing ability improved by 70% after understanding the concept of academic writing, with a writing completion rate of 85%, and further follow-up is needed in online mentoring sessions. There are seven articles from teachers ready for review and publication, and two articles are ready for publication. Masalah pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru melalui karya ilmiah masih menjadi isu utama di Indonesia. Kesulitan penulisan karya ilmiah belum menemukan solusi yang tepat di setiap lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan bantuan berupa pelatihan Karya Tulis Ilmiah kepada para guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri di Kota Singkawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan praktik menulis. Pelatihan dilakukan secara luring di Aula Kementerian Agama Singkawang, dengan peserta 25 orang dari Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri dan Ibtidaiyah Kota Singkawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan, 100% guru madrasah memiliki pengetahuan konseptual menulis karya ilmiah dengan baik. Kemampuan menulis mereka meningkat 70% setelah memahami konsep penulisan akademik, dengan tingkat penyelesaian menulis 85%, dan tindak lanjut lebih lanjut diperlukan dalam sesi pendampingan online. Ada tujuh artikel dari guru yang siap direview dan dipublikasikan, dan dua artikel siap dipublikasikan.

Abstract

Sembungjambu Village has local potential and needs to develop including community traditions that are still being carried out and there are two tombs of the guardian Mbah Kyai Gede Ceper and Mbah Datuk. Nevertheless, Sembungjambu Village has social problems, one of which is a moral decline marked by promiscuity, alcoholism, and a community that is considered deviant or deviates from the norms of the local community. One effort to overcome moral degradation is through religious education. This community empowerment activity uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, a participatory empowerment model implemented in the village. This activity was carried out in three stages, namely first planning, second, implementation, and third evaluation. These empowerment activities include organizing community leaders from Sembungjambu Village from all elements who have concerns over the issue of moral decline, mapping community potential that can be used for the Moral Strengthening process through Focus Group Discussions, Mapping formal, non-formal and informal educational institutions in Sembungjambu Village which will later produce a Model of Strengthening Morale Through Integrated Religious Education. Holding Inspiration Class activities in the form of sharing sessions by presenting successful practitioners and local youth so that the Village community remains enthusiastic about carrying out knowledge and religion. Storytelling Training for Parents as a form of re-socializing Fairy Tales as a means of character and religious education. Digital marketing training to increase the entrepreneurial capacity of the Sembungjambu Village community, and create working groups as follow-up activities. Evaluation and control of the process of implementing empowerment activities. It is hoped that this program can also be implemented in other villages in the context of strengthening morale. Desa Sembungjambu menyimpan potensi lokal yang perlu dikembangkan diantaranya tradisi masyarakat yang masih dijalankan dan terdapat dua makam wali Mbah Kyai Gede Ceper dan makam wali Mbah Datuk. Kendati demikian Desa Sembungjambu mempunyai problem sosial salah satunya kemerosotan moral yang ditandai dengan pergaulan bebas, alkoholisme dan komunitas yang dianggap deviant atau menyimpang dari norma masyarakat setempat. Salah satu upaya untuk menanggulangi degradasi moral ialah melalui pendidikan agama. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) model pemberdayaan partisipatif yang dilaksanakan di desa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu Pertama perencanaan, Kedua, pelaksanaan dan Ketiga evaluasi. Kegiatan pemberdayaan ini diantaranya mengorganisir tokoh masyarakat Desa Sembungjambu dari semua elemen yang mempunyai keresahan atas isu kemerosotan moral, melakukan pemetaan potensi masyarakat yang bisa digunakan untuk proses Penguatan Moral melalui Focus Group Discussion, Melakukan pemetaan lembaga pendidikan formal, non formal dan informal di Desa Sembungjambu yang nantinya akan menghasilkan Model Penguatan Moral Melalui Pendidikan Agama Terinteragrasi. Mengadakan kegiatan Kelas Inspirasi berupa sharing session dengan menghadirkan praktisi dan local youth yang sukes agar masyarakat Desa tetap bersemangat mengemban ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Pelatihan mendongeng untuk orang tua sebagai bentuk memasyarakatkan kembali Dongeng sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter dan agama. Pelatihan digital marketing dalam rangka peningkatan kapasitas wirausaha masyarakat, dan membuat kelompok kerja sebagai follow up kegiatan. Evalusi dan kontrol proses pelaksanaan kegiatan pemberdayaan. Harapannya program ini bisa juga dilaksanakan di desa lainnya dalam rangka penguatan moral.

Abstract

Idealnya, masukan mahasiswa yang diharapkan pada Prodi Hukum Ekonomi Syari’Ah menuntut personal yang menguasai dan mempunyai pemahaman mendasar tentang kajian-kajian keislaman seperti fikih dan Bahasa Arab. Namun, realitas yang terjadi adalah bahwa mahasiswa Hukum Ekonomi Syari’ah yang berasal dari SMA dan SMK bisa menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu dan tidak kalah bersaing dengan mahasiswa yang berasal dari MA dan Pesantren. Menarik disimak lebih lanjut faktor-faktor yang mendorong realita ini terjadi. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian terhadap mahasiswa lulusan Prodi Hukum Ekonomi Syari’ah Fakultas Syari’ah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.

Abstract

Depression is a mental disorder caused by an imbalance of neurotransmitters due to the catalytic activity of the MAO enzyme. This disease can be treated with antidepressants. Many in vivo studies have been carried out to examine the antidepressant activity of the active compounds in Javanese chili (Piper longum BI.). Still, the approach is in silico and has never been done. The purpose of this study was to see the potential of the three active compounds of Javanese chili (piperine, methyl piperate, and piperlonguminine) as antidepressants by analyzing their pharmacokinetic properties and drug-likeness via the SwissADME online site. All three compounds met ADME parameters (high GI-absorption, no P-gp inhibitor, no CYP2D6 inhibitor, yes BBB permeant and logKp < -2.5 cm/s) and obey Lipinski, Veber, Ghose rules, and have bioavailability score  0.55. The three compounds have the potential to be used as oral drugs based on the results of the bioavailability radar

Abstract

Radicalism (Understanding) and terrorism (Action) are one unit which is a latent danger that is difficult to detect. This danger can be seen from the large number of victims falling from both government and civilian agencies. Someone who has been indoctrinated will find it difficult to get out of their wrong and anti-human understanding. However, people who have not yet been exposed to radical terror doctrines can still be straightened out through socialization, counseling and so on. This article aims to see how the West Sumatra Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum - Forum Koordinasi Pencegahan Terorisme (FKPT) plays its role in preventing radicalism in West Sumatra. This paper uses a qualitative research approach, which the author then analyzes from the perspective of functional structural theory. The focus of FKPT activities is in the form of socialization. This outreach is aimed at people who are vulnerable to being exposed to the influence of radicalism. FKPT is different from the police or Densus 88 which specifically handles enforcement (legal) aspects, this FKPT specifically handles all matters related to prevention. So, researchers found that FKPT West Sumatra carried out its function in preventing radicalism in West Sumatra. This function and role can be seen from the activities carried out by FKPT West Sumatra in preventing radicalism. Radikalisme (Pemahaman) dan terorisme (Tindakan) adalah satu kesatuan yang merupakan bahaya laten yang sulit untuk dideteksi. Bahaya tersebut dapat dilihat dari banyaknya korban jatuh baik itu dari instansi pemerintah maupun sipil. Seseorang yang sudah ter-indoktrinisasi akan sulit keluar dari pemahamannya yang keliru dan anti kemanusiaan. Namun, masyarakat yang masih belum terpapar doktrin radikal teror masih bisa diluruskan dengan sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan lainnya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat cara Forum Koordinasi Pencegahan Terorisme (FKPT) Sumatera Barat memainkan peranannya dalam melakukan pencegahan radikalisme di Sumatera Barat. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang selanjutnya penulis analisis dari perspektif teori struktural fungsional. Fokus dari kegiatan FKPT ini berbentuk sosialisasi. Sosialisasi ini ditujukan kepada masyarakat yang rentan terpapar pengaruh Radikalisme. FKPT berbeda dengan polisi atau Densus 88 yang khusus menangani aspek penindakan(hukum), FKPT ini khusus menangani segala hal terkait dengan pencegahan. Maka, peneliti mendapati FKPT Sumatera Barat menjalankan fungsinya dalam melakukan pencegahan radikalisme di Sumatera Barat. Fungsi dan peranan ini terlihat dari kegiatan yang dilakukan FKPT Sumatera Barat dalam melakukan pencegahan radikalisme.

Abstract

This study explains the contextualization or application of learning Mantiq science in reading the text of statutory regulations or in this case Law Number 1 of 1974. Considering that in the current development, learning Mantiq science has only touched the formalistic realm. This study is library research to conduct an analysis of the text of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage using Mantiq science. The analysis is based on the book Iydhah al-Mubham by Sheikh Ahmad Damanhuri to examine every word and sentence in the Marriage Law. The question to be answered is how to contextualize the learning of Mantiq science into the text of the Law. The results of this study show that the determination of the composition of the propositions in the articles and paragraphs in Law no. 1 of 1974 and understanding and interpreting the editorial composition of the text of the Law reflects the form of material relations in Mantiq science, namely critical language relations which are reflected in the diction and propositions which are used as articles and verses. It was found that some of the editorial texts of Law no. 1 of 1974 contains propositions that do not follow the Indonesian language based on Enhanced Spelling (EYD) which in principle has the potential for ambiguity.Studi ini menjelaskan tentang kontekstualisasi atau penerapan pembelajaran ilmu Mantiq dalam membaca teks peraturan perundang-undangan atau dalam hal ini adalah Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974. Mengingat dalam perkembangan yang ada pembelajaran ilmu Mantiq baru menyentuh ranah formalistik. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) untuk melakukan analisis terhadap teks UU No 1 Tahun 1974 tentang perkawinan dengan ilmu Mantiq. Analisis berpijak pada kitab Iydhah al-Mubham karya Syekh Ahmad Damanhuri untuk memeriksa setiap kata dan kalimat dalam UU Perkawinan.Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab adalah bagaimana cara mengkontekstualisasikan pembelajaran ilmu Mantiq kedalam teks Undang-undang. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penetapan susunan proposisi pada pasal dan ayat di dalam UU No. 1 Tahun 1974 serta memahami dan memaknai susunan redaksi teks UU merefleksikan bentuk relasi materi ilmu Mantiq, yaitu relasi bahasa kritis yang terefleksi dari diksi dan proposisi yang dijadikan sebagai pasal dan ayat. Ditemukan bahwa sebagian redaksi teks UU No. 1 Tahun 1974 menyimpan proposisi yang tidak mengikuti bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD) yang cecara prinsip berpeluang terjadi ambigusitas.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the strategies of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kanwil Kemenag) in transforming the idea of religious moderation among the people of West Sumatra. The study is a qualitative research using interview and literature review techniques. The interview was conducted with one civil servant and an employee at the Kanwil Kemenag office in West Sumatra, while the literature review referred to the official news website of Kanwil Kemenag in West Sumatra. The findings of this article indicate that Kanwil Kemenag's efforts include first, conducting training and socialization on religious moderation for several elements of society. Second, forming a task force for religious moderation. The targets of the activities carried out by Kanwil Kemenag in promoting the growth of religious moderation include the community, civil servant educators, non-civil servant educators, heads of Islamic religious affairs offices, school principals, religious leaders, students of Islamic high schools and middle schools, as well as the entire components of Islamic higher education institutions. As a subsystem in society, Kanwil Kemenag in West Sumatra has successfully carried out four structural-functional functions in creating a harmonious diversity in West Sumatra society.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi Kanwil Kemenag dalam mentransformasikan gagasan moderasi beragama pada masyarakat Sumatera Barat. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan studi pustaka. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap salah satu ASN dan pegawai di kantor Kanwil Kemenag Sumbar, dan studi pustaka merujuk terhadap website berita resmi Kanwil Kemenag Sumbar. Temuan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya-upaya yang dilakukan Kanwil Kemenag Sumbar diantaranya pertama, melaksanakan pelatihan dan sosialiasi moderasi beragama bagi beberapa elemen masyarakat. Kedua, membentuk satgas moderasi beragama. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran dalam kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan Kanwil Kemenag Sumbar dengan upaya menumbuh kembangkan moderasi beragama adalah masyarakat, penyuluh PNS, penyuluh non PNS, Kepala KUA, Kepala Sekolah, Penghulu, Siswa MAN dan MTSN, serta PTKIN, beserta seluruh komponennya. Sebagai sub sistem dalam masyarakat Kanwil Kemenag Sumbar telah berhasil menjalankan empat fungsi (struktural fungsional) dalam menciptakan keberagaman yang harmonis di masyarakat Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

The community service promotes tourism potentials in Kabupaten Bener Meriah, particularly the waterfall in Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. This service activity inspired ecotourism in two ways: 1). help the community manage and develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 2) help people and communities identify assets, monitor, and evaluate waterfall ecotourism development. The Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach—discovery (find), dream (dream), design (design), define (determine), destiny—is used in this service activity. The University Community Engagement (UCE) theory underpins this service by emphasizing community participation in higher education concepts and practice design. The capacity-building theory is in favor of this service. This service includes 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) and asset mapping. 2) ABCD method sharing and core team FGD. 3). Sharing ABCD methods with assisted communities. 4). Workshop on improving tourism village marketing, management, and entrepreneurial motivation to strengthen human resources. 5). A productive and sustainable economic empowerment workshop. 6). Focus group discussion (FGD), evaluation, and community service output recommendations. Tourism will grow and progress if it is managed properly and sustainably. To develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 1) the regional government of Bener Meriah Regency should develop human resources for the village community. 2). Creating a tourist attraction requires collaboration with many parties, especially the local government.Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengangkat potensi pariwisata di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, khususnya air terjun di Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menginspirasi ekowisata dalam dua hal: 1). membantu masyarakat mengelola dan mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 2) membantu masyarakat dan komunitas mengidentifikasi aset, memantau, dan mengevaluasi pengembangan ekowisata air terjun. Pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)—menemukan, mengimpikan, merancang, mendefinisikan, takdir—digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Teori University Community Engagement (UCE) mendasari kegiatan ini dengan menekankan partisipasi masyarakat dalam konsep dan desain praktik pendidikan tinggi. Didukung dengan teori peningkatan kapasitas, kegiatan ini mencakup 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) dan pemetaan aset. 2) Sharing metode ABCD dan FGD tim inti. 3). Berbagi metode ABCD dengan masyarakat binaan. 4). Lokakarya peningkatan pemasaran, pengelolaan, dan motivasi kewirausahaan desa wisata untuk penguatan sumber daya manusia. 5). Lokakarya pemberdayaan ekonomi yang produktif dan berkelanjutan. 6). Focus Group Discussion (FGD), evaluasi, dan rekomendasi keluaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pariwisata akan tumbuh dan maju jika dikelola dengan baik dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 1). pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Bener Meriah harus mengembangkan sumber daya manusia bagi masyarakat desa. 2). Membuat suatu objek wisata memerlukan kerjasama dengan banyak pihak terutama pemerintah daerah.
