Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the rehabilitation services for individuals with cerebral palsy at Yayasan Peduli Kemanusiaan (YPK) Bali by designing and producing adaptive furniture that is ergonomic, affordable, and tailored to user needs. Identified problems included non-ergonomic tools, limited availability of adaptive devices, high cost, lack of inclusive design expertise, and limited collaboration with academic institutions. Using User-Centered Design (UCD) and Participatory Action Research (PAR) methods, the team developed a rehabilitation chair and an ergonomic walker. Evaluation showed enhanced comfort and postural support for users. Training modules for staff increased the organization’s capacity. The program exemplified how inclusive design and technological innovation can enhance therapy effectiveness, affordability, and sustainability.

Abstract

The Keju Temple in Sibetan Traditional Village, Karangasem, Bali, was damaged by the 2021 earthquake, requiring technical documentation for the revitalization process. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to prepare a Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for the arrangement of the Keju Temple using a participatory architectural approach that combines modern technical standards (SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, PUIL 2011) with Balinese local wisdom (Asta Kosala Kosali, Tri Mandala, Tri Angga). The implementation method is carried out through five stages: socialization, training, DED preparation, FGD, and evaluation. The results of the activity are hard products (Architectural, Structural, and MEP DEDs) and soft products (increased community knowledge about technical documents and grant flows). The knowledge test showed an average increase of 40 points from the pre-test to the post-test, confirming the success of technology transfer. This activity has a double impact: tangible benefits for the community in the form of DED documents ready to be submitted for development grants, as well as academic productivity for universities through publications, IPR, and dissemination.

Abstract

The underlying problem of mentoring SMEs in Bojonegoro Regency is the low ability of SMEs to utilize digital technology for marketing, which results in limitations in reaching a wider market and increasing competitiveness. The goal of this mentoring is to improve the digital marketing competency of SMEs, so they can compete effectively in the digital era. The scientific contribution from this community service is expected to enrich knowledge about the application of information technology in marketing and provide new insights in developing digital-based business strategies. The methods used in this mentoring include training, technical guidance, and the implementation of effective digital marketing strategies. The results of the mentoring show a significant increase in SMEs' understanding of online marketing, as well as increased product sales through digital platforms. Targets achieved include an increase in the number of customers and a 30% increase in sales turnover within the three-month period following the training. Thus, this mentoring not only provides direct benefits to partners but also contributes to the overall development of SMEs in Bojonegoro Regency.

Abstract

The mentoring program for the Mambo Premium Ice Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Bojonegoro Regency was motivated by challenges faced in product innovation and business legality. The main problems identified were the lack of product variety and attractiveness, as well as the lack of a Business Identification Number (NIB), which limits access to market opportunities and government support. This program aims to improve the competitiveness of SMEs through the development of product innovation and business legality. The approach used needs analysis, product innovation training, and assistance with NIB processing through the OSS system. The mentoring results showed significant improvements, with partners successfully creating new product variants, such as matcha, tiramisu, and taro flavors, which increased consumer appeal. In addition, partners have obtained NIBs, opening access to government facilities and increasing consumer trust. With a structured approach, this program has succeeded in building a more professional, sustainable, and competitive business foundation in the market.

Abstract

Mentoring for Tofu SMEs in Gedongarum Village, Bojonegoro, was conducted to address obstacles faced by business owners, particularly those related to a lack of marketing knowledge, limited technological promotion, and low product competitiveness in the market. The objective of this activity was to help business owners develop marketing strategies, improve their digital technology skills, and expand market access for better business growth. The mentoring was implemented in three stages: field surveys, technical assistance, and evaluation. The survey was conducted through interviews with business owners, technical assistance provided guidance and practical training, while evaluation was conducted to assess the program's effectiveness. The results of the activity showed an increase in business owners' skills in digital marketing, which resulted in increased tofu sales.

Abstract

The Konco Dewe Banana Chips Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Bojonegoro Regency faces various challenges, particularly in product marketing and the use of digital technology. This mentoring program aims to help the SME understand and implement digital marketing strategies through e-commerce platforms to increase product visibility and sales. The mentoring program includes registering the SME on Facebook and Instagram marketplaces, optimizing business pages, and adding business locations to Google Maps. The methods used are hands-on training, technical guidance, and digital marketing simulations. The training includes uploading products to marketplaces with attractive descriptions and quality photos. The mentoring results show an increase in partners' understanding of digital technology, increased product visibility on e-commerce platforms, and successful registration of business locations on Google Maps, making it easier for customers to find production locations. This mentoring contributes to the development of science and technology, particularly in the adaptation of digital marketing by small-scale SMEs. Through this digital strategy, the Konco Dewe SME is expected to expand its market, increase its competitiveness, and strengthen its business position in both local and digital markets

Abstract

This mentoring was motivated by the challenges faced by the Tahu H. Riyadi Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting digital transformation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The main problems include a lack of understanding about the importance of using digital payment methods and sustainable waste management. The purpose of this mentoring is to increase awareness and ability of MSMEs in implementing the digital payment system, namely QRIS, with support in the form of creating Instagram social media as a supporting medium, as well as educating about environmentally friendly waste management. The scientific contribution from the results of this community service is expected to provide new insights in the development of science and technology, especially in the application of digital technology in the MSME sector. The methods used in this mentoring include observation, interviews, socialization, and active participation. The results of the mentoring show that the partners successfully implemented the QRIS system, which increased transaction efficiency and provided convenience for consumers. In addition, socialization regarding waste management succeeded in raising awareness of the importance of the environment, with several management steps that have been implemented. Targets achieved include ease of transactions with a 40% increase in digital transactions and a reduction in inorganic waste that is disposed of carelessly. The results of this mentoring not only provide direct benefits to the MSMEs concerned, but also contribute to efforts to improve sustainable knowledge and practices in the community to support the development of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki peran strategis dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja. Untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan, diperlukan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam menyediakan pembekalan yang relevan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesiapan, dan orientasi karier siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu dalam menghadapi tuntutan pasar kerja, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan pra-sosialisasi, sosialisasi, serta diskusi interaktif menggunakan metode ceramah, visualisasi, dan tanya jawab. Materi yang diberikan mencakup edukasi pencegahan bahaya narkoba, penerapan pola hidup sehat, serta pemahaman mengenai prosedur kerja yang aman dan sesuai standar. Kegiatan berjalan efektif dengan tingkat partisipasi siswa mencapai 95%. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terkait risiko narkoba, strategi pencegahan, serta kesiapan mental dan keterampilan awal untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kompetensi dan karakter siswa dalam menghadapi transisi ke dunia profesional.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membuat kehidupan sehari-hari lebih mudah, seperti berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Media sosial telah menjadi salah satu platform yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat, terutama oleh remaja. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai bentuk-bentuk cyberbullying, dampak psikologis yang ditimbulkan, serta konsekuensi hukum yang dapat dikenakan kepada pelaku sesuai Undang-Undang ITE dan KUHP. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan interaktif yang dihadiri 32 orang yang melibatkan pengurus OSIS. Tim pengabdi menyampaikan materi mengenai jenis-jenis cyberbullying seperti ejekan, hinaan, penyebaran konten tanpa izin, serta ancaman daring. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dengan aktif berdiskusi, berbagi pengalaman, serta menanyakan solusi praktis jika menghadapi kasus cyberbullying. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman baru mengenai batasan antara candaan dan perundungan, pentingnya etika digital, serta kesadaran hukum dalam menggunakan media sosial. Pengurus OSIS berkomitmen untuk menyebarkan informasi yang diperoleh kepada siswa lainnya melalui program kerja sekolah, sehingga upaya pencegahan dapat berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa SMA Negeri 4 Palu terhadap bahaya cyberbullying serta menumbuhkan pemahaman bahwa perundungan di dunia maya bukanlah hal sepele, melainkan dapat berdampak serius baik secara psikologis maupun hukum.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha mikro Es Cao Pak Tata melalui pengelolaan keuangan dan legalitas usaha. Mitra menghadapi tantangan pencatatan keuangan yang tidak terstruktur dan kurangnya Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), yang menghambat pengambilan keputusan bisnis dan akses terhadap program pemerintah. Program ini memberikan pendampingan dengan memperkenalkan aplikasi Buku Warung untuk pencatatan keuangan digital. Para pelaku usaha dipandu untuk mengunduh dan menggunakan aplikasi tersebut, yang memungkinkan mereka memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan bisnis serta mengelola laporan keuangan dengan lebih baik. Untuk legalitas, pendampingan meliputi pendaftaran di platform Online Single Submission (OSS) untuk mendapatkan NIB. Program yang berlangsung selama lima bulan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran manajerial para mitra. Hal ini berdampak positif terhadap keberlanjutan usaha mikro dan dapat menjadi contoh bagi UKM lain di Bojonegoro.
