Abstract

Long prose essay novels tell about human life, the surrounding community and highlight the character and characteristics of each actor. Values give meaning to life, provide reference, starting point and purpose of life. Character is the value of kindness in the form of action or behavior. The purpose of this research is to know the character value of filial piety to parents. The method used in this research is using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by reading and understanding the data obtained. The data analysis techniques used are: Reading novels, Describing novels, Analyzing, identifying novels, Taking and compiling conclusions. The data source for this research is the novel Ibuk. This novel will be the author's main study. The results of this study concluded that there were  footage containing aspects of obeying parents,  footage containing aspects of respect, footage containing aspects of lightening the burden on parents, and footage containing aspects of serving parents. Iwan Setyawan conveys many useful character values for readers by bringing the novel's story to life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk wacana persuasif dalam takarir unggahan akun Instagram resmi Nadiem Makarim @nadiemmakarim. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah takarir unggahan akun Instagram resmi Nadiem Makarim @nadiemmakarim dalam durasi waktu satu bulan mulai 16 September s.d. 16 Oktober tahun 2022. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Teknik dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis deskriptif interaktif. Teknik ini memiliki 4 komponen, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 wacana persuasif yang dilihat dari sudut panjang tujuannya. Memberikan informasi (to inform) sebanyak 6 data, menimbulkan inspirasi (to inspire) sebanyak 6 data, meyakinkan (to convise) sebanyak 5 data, menghibur atau menyenangkan (to entertain) sebanyak 3 data, dan menggerakkan atau mengarahkan (to ectuate) sebanyak 8 data.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the didactic values contained in the youth novel Whatever Apart from Rain by Orizuka. The source of the data in this study was the youth novel Whatever Apart from Rain by Orizuka which totaled 287 pages and was published by Gagas Media. The first print was published in 2016. This research method is a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. Instrument. This research was conducted with documentation guidelines. Data analysis techniques include reading youth novels, collecting data, underlining, describing, and concluding. The research data is in the form of didactic values: tolerance, sharing, helping others, empathy, honesty, the quality of good deeds, authenticity. The results of the research show that there are didactic values: tolerance, sharing, helping others, empathy, honesty, quality of good deeds, authenticity in youth novels Anything But Rain by Orizuka.

Abstract

.Penenlitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib dalam pembelajaran materi menulis cerita pendek  yang ada di semester ganjil kelas IX SMP. Secara rinci tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan menulis cerita pendek sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya pembelajaran menggunakan TAI; (2) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan proses pemebelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib pada materi menulis cerita pendek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa: (1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pemebelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain 0,67 dengan kategori sedang, (2) Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib  dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan perolehan presentase keterlaksanaan sebesar 79,54% dan (3) Respon belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib  untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek termasuk kedalam kriteria baik dengan presentase mencapai 88,7%. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) berbantu media kantong ajaib dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek, pelaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik dan respon siswa tergolong baik.

Abstract

Indonesian always grows and develops according to changing times and technological advances. As a language that experiences growth and development, of course there are many obstacles in the process, one of which is related to the spelling used. Even though the use of language spelling has been applied in written communication for a very long time, in practice there are still many errors in writing. The purpose of this study was to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in the discourse descriptions of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar, Simalungun Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach which is included in linguistic research which aims to produce descriptive data. The instrument used to capture data in this study was observation to analyze EBI errors in student-made descriptive discourse. Data analysis in this study began with data collection through observation and documentation, then identification, description, and classification of data based on errors were carried out. Based on the results of an analysis of the students' discourse descriptions, several mistakes were made by students, including errors in the use of letters, errors in the use of capital and lowercase letters, errors in writing prepositions and affixes, errors in writing loanwords and errors in the use of punctuation marks. The most dominant error is an error in writing absorption words, namely with a completeness of 59.72% which is far from sufficient.

Abstract

As the aim of learning Indonesian at school is to develop students' language skills, both orally and in writing. Students are expected to have language skills, because language plays an important role in human life, especially in Indonesian subjects. The purpose of this research is to develop students' writing skills with bestie journal media. The method used in this research is development research. This research was conducted in class IV of Tahfidz Aulia Private Elementary School starting in January 2023. The samples used were 22 class IV Abu Bakar Ash Siddiq students and 16 class IV Umar Bin Khattab students. The instruments used in this study were media validation sheets, observation sheets on the implementation of the learning process, and assessment sheets for students' writing skills. This research is said to be successful if there is an increase in the value of students' writing skills. Based on the results of the analysis carried out in this study, it can be stated that the development of bestie journal media to improve the writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students were declared successful by making improvements to the learning process plan, implementing the learning process and providing support to students in the form of learning motivation. The success of this study was demonstrated by the mastery of student learning in cycle II where there were 70% of students scored more than 75 which was indicated by an average value of 78.22 and a standard deviation of 3.45 which previously only had an average value of 65. 27 and a standard deviation of 3.575 with completeness in the first cycle of 63.63%.

Abstract

A language is a communication tool used in everyday life, including in social media, without using language, communication will not work properly. The use of language in social media is interesting because it can be observed as related to sentence structure which refers to syntax, morphology, semantics, phonology, and pragmatics. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out students' use of language on social media in terms of grammar and language variations. The research conducted is a descriptive analysis that will provide an overview of the phenomena studied with a qualitative approach based on observations of students' use of language on social media. The sample used in this study were 4 students of class X SMA Edu Global School who have accounts on Instagram and WhatsApp social media. The selection of this sample was done randomly. The instruments used were observation sheets for grammatical errors and observation sheets for language variations. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively to show an overview of students' use of grammar and language variations in social media. The results of observations on students' use of language on social media, it can be concluded that there are errors in the use of student grammar on social media, for example, errors in writing words and phrases, errors in the use of punctuation marks such as periods, errors in the concept of repeating words, rarely or never using capitalize the initial letters and use abbreviations for a word or errors in writing/typing. Abstract

This paper discusses how the identity of a group of students from the Indonesian Literature Study Program at Andalas University, Padang, is constructed through drinking coffee in a coffee shop. Drinking coffee is one activity that is being loved by young people, especially amidst the massive emergence of coffee shops in various parts of the city of Padang. The number of coffee shops in the city of Padang influences the people's culture of drinking coffee. According to Baudrillard's theory of hyperreality, drinking coffee does not only contain use and exchange values, but also contains sign and symbolic values. The activity of drinking coffee is not just quenching thirst and delaying sleepiness, but is also done for the purpose of having fun and strengthening identity. In addition, there is an act of looking at each other and being seen between male students and female students in their behavior drinking coffee in coffee shops. Through filling out a questionnaire conducted by a group of students, it was shown that visiting coffee shops did not necessarily give rise to coffee connoisseurs, but rather as a form of lifestyle for early subjects and popular cultural practices, visiting coffee shops was shown as a fun activity, as well as strengthening one's identity in the world. virtual and real world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar teks fabel berbentuk leaflet berbantuan canva kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RnD) yang menggunakan prosedur penelitian Borg and Gall. Subjek penelitian pengembangan ini diantaranya validator ahli materi, validator ahli media, guru mata pelajaran, dan siswa kelas VII Terpadu 1 SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan diantaranya wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran dan angket yang akan digunakan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan siswa dan validasi kelayakan terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket kebutuhan siswa, validasi ahli materi, ahli media dan guru mata pelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan jika produk yang dikembangkan dari penelitian ini yaitu materi ajar teks fabel berbentuk leaflet berbantuan canva kelas VII SMP sudah dalam kualifikasi sangat baik/sangat layak dengan nilai dari validator ahli materi sebesar 91,1%, validator ahli media sebesar 74,2% dan guru mata pelajaran sebesar 93,3% dan didapatkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 86,2% sehingga dapat disimpulkan produk pada penelitian ini sangat layak untuk digunakan oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Film "Keluarga Cemara 2" karya Ismail Basbeth merupakan kelanjutan dari film "Keluarga Cemara" yang diadaptasi dari novel karya Arswendo Atmowiloto dan dirilis pada tahun 2018. Dalam film ini, kehidupan manusia dipresentasikan secara jelas, termasuk interaksi, komunikasi, dan konflik yang dihadapi oleh tokoh-tokohnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam film tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif terhadap dialog-dialog dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 19 bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam film ini, yaitu: 5 bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif meminta maaf, 5 bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif berterima kasih, 3 bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif memuji, 3 bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif mengkritik, dan 3 bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif sindiran. Tidak ditemukan contoh tindak tutur ekspresif dalam bentuk menyampaikan ucapan selamat dan menyatakan belasungkawa. Bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif yang paling umum adalah meminta maaf dan berterima kasih. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memperkaya pemahaman tentang penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif dalam konteks film, serta memberikan wawasan baru mengenai representasi komunikasi interpersonal dalam karya audiovisual.
