SCAFFOLDING: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam dan Multikulturalisme, merupakan jurnal yang membahas tentang isu-isu Pendidikan, Pendidikan Islam, dan Multikulturalisme mutakhir sebagai bentuk pengejawantahan ilmu pengetahuan seputar pendidikan dan pendidikan Islam guna membangun peradaban. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam setahun. Jurnal Scaffolding memberi wadah kepada seluruh civitas akademika, peneliti, dan praktisi pendidikan dan pendidikan Islam untuk untuk mengeksplorasi hasil penelitian yang memiliki rasionalitas baik sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab akademik terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Abstract

This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that describes thoroughly Total Quality Management in the implementation of online learning development in educational institutions. It reveals that the function of TQM in increasing the satisfaction of all users is very necessary and plays a role in providing better service. The role of the institution as a public educational institution does not only to provide educational facilities and infrastructure but standard operating procedures and quality control for learning must also exist and must be carried out by all users. In this case, users in learning are not only students but also lecturers, administrators, and assessors who also play important roles and contribute during the learning and teaching process.

Abstract

The online learning process is not effective because the media used in the science learning process is limited to books and Whatapps Group applications. This study aims to develop learning media (module) based on android on sound material for students IV SD. This research is a research and Development with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely, Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation. The population in this study are fourth-grade students of SDN 8 Mambo. The research instrument used a media validation questionnaire sheet, material validation, and user questionnaire (teachers and students). Data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, the validity value of the material from the aspect of self-instruction of 87.6% category is very valid, the self-contained aspect of 91.7% category is very valid, stand-alone aspect of 91.7% category is very valid, adaptive aspect of 83.3% category is valid, and user-friendly aspect of 100% category is very valid. The validity of the media on indicators of system quality and information quality with a value of 100% is a very valid category. The user practicality sheet obtained a value of 77.9% with the practical type. So it can be concluded that the Android-based e-module (E-module DISROID) developed in the criteria is very valid and very practical so that this module can be used in science learning, especially for practicum activities in elementary school Class IV.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of learning media that can help students during Distance Learning. Learning Media developed in this study can be used and accessed anywhere and anytime to help students understand the material being taught. The Media that will be developed in the research will be in the form of applications that help teachers in delivering material and help students to understand more about the material being taught. This study focused on science subjects, especially magnetic materials for Grade VI students. E-module is a learning module that is packaged into electronic form to facilitate the learning process that is made systemically, and is an example of the benefits of technology in the field of Education. The development of this e-module uses discovery learning approach. In developing e-module Seroid Learning media based on Android on magnetic material for Grade VI elementary school students . Achievement in this development to test apalikasi developed is included in the category of valid and practical, with research development methods RnD (Research and Development) using Thiagarajan 4D model that Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development of the serli e-module application will be carried out in the sixth grade of Inpres 12 Baiya, elementary school by conducting a small trial of 6 students.

Abstract

Changes from age to age in human life indirectly encourage humans to follow the times where it cannot be denied that all things are based on technology, including the world of education. The problem in this research is the change in the learning process carried out online with the help of development technology. The online learning process makes students difficult, especially in science learning, where learning is mostly carried out with practicum. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and practical Android-based Discon E-Module. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) with a 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The population in this study were fourth-grade students of Elementary School Inpres 1 Tondo. The research instrument used tests and media validation questionnaire sheets, material validation, and user validation. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the media validity was in the very good category, the material validity was in the good and very good categories, and user satisfaction was in the very good category. So it can be concluded that the Android-based E-Modul Discon (E-Modul Disroid) that was developed is included in the very valid and very practical criteria. So that this module can be used in science learning, especially for practical activities in grade IV elementary.

Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran yang terdapat di sekolah berakibat pada proses pembelajaran. Guru tidak melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum pada kompetensi materi praktek. Sehingga kemampuan psikomotor dan kognitif siswa menjadi rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan modul berbasis android yaitu e-modul serli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul serli berbasis Android (E-Modul Seroid) pada materi listrik kelas VI sekolah dasar memenuhi kriteria valid dan kriteria praktis. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan ini meliputi: potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari tim ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran angket. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa nilai validitas media sebesar 82% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Nilai validitas materi yang terdiri dari self instruction sebesar 92% dengan kriteria sangat valid, self contained sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat valid, stand alone sebesar 75% dengan kriteria valid, adaptif sebesar 91,7% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan user friendly sebesar 75% dengan kriteria valid. Hasil ujicoba pengguna (guru) memperoleh nilai sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan pengguna (siswa) sebesar 92,3% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan E-Modul Serli berbasis android (e-modul seroid) untuk materi listrik di Kelas VI SD yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the character values ​​contained in the 2013 curriculum integrative thematic book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data and data sources in this study are the second-grade students' books with the theme "Life in harmony." The data collection technique in this research uses unstructured interviews and the observation method with note-taking techniques. The data collected is then analyzed. The data analysis technique used is the Milles and Huberman model, with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the second-grade student's book on the theme of living in harmony already contains the expected character values. A total of 109 character values ​​were found from the five values ​​carried out in this study. The order of character values ​​found from the lowest to the highest is nationalism values ​​totaling 14 values. Independent values ​​have as many as 18 values, mutual cooperation values ​​as many as 23 values, religious values ​​as many as 24 values, and the last one that most often appears is the integrity value, as many as 30 values.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a character value-based module in the sub-theme of the beauty of the unity and integrity of my country and to determine the validity of the module based on character values ​​in the sub-theme of the beauty of the unity and integrity of my country in the fourth grade of elementary school. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. Data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative and quantitative description analysis techniques. The methods used in data collection are interviews, validation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the percentage of validation by material experts is 89%, design experts are 91.33% and linguists are 96%. The conclusion from this study is that character value-based modules are appropriate for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the history of the development of Islamic philosophy which in its time influenced world civilization, to find out the famous Islamic philosophy figures and make a very large contribution to this day, some of the theories put forward by Muslims are still used in the modern era such as the ideas of Ibn Sina on tuberculosis (TBC) and ethanol, Al-Khwarizmi's thoughts on mathematics Al-Gebra, discovering the number zero (0), astronomy and many other meritorious scientists. The research method used in this article is a literature study by digging up information about the Golden Age of Islamic Philosophy from various works of literature such as books, journals, articles, and other scientific papers. The results of this study are in the 9th century to the 12th century Islam developed rapidly and influenced world civilization. The development of Islam succeeded in giving birth to Muslim scholars and competing with the West at that time in the Dark Age phase because it was influenced by Church dogma and the inquisition which slowed down intellectual and technological development. Philosophy greatly influences the world of education. Islamic educational institutions developed rapidly through madrasas and higher education institutions at a time when Europe was experiencing its dark period. Islamic education and science in the Middle Ages were supported by Islamic scholasticism, which tried to reconcile Greco-Hellenistic thought with Islamic religious teachings, which reached its peak during the time of Al-Ghazali, and the impressive progress of Islamic civilization in the Middle Ages through Muslim philosophers such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Avicenna, Omar Khayyam, and others.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of multicultural education values applied in the first junior high school of State 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo. The qualitative research method used in this research is descriptive. Primary data were collected directly from informants by asking questions, while secondary data were obtained from various references relevant to other scientific values from related institutions. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used as data collection strategies. Judging from the description of the results of observations and interviews with respondents, there is a sense of awareness of both teachers as educators and equal treatment of students who have social status and religious differentiation, and diverse thinking abilities. Furthermore, because the concept of multiculturalism education is recognition and mutual acceptance, tolerance, inclusion, harmony, honesty, and mutual respect for differences, the ability and understanding of teachers about multicultural education in Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 1 Gedangan is the key to the success of planting multicultural values in Islamic religious education learning. The results of the study state that the application of multicultural values has gone well. After receiving an understanding of multicultural education, students have a sense of mutual respect for differences. This can be seen from the daily attitudes and behaviors of students who respect each other and never question their differences.

Abstract

The study of the role of the principal's instructional leadership in the learning process is a critical factor in increasing the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to investigate the role of school principals' instructional leadership in increasing the effectiveness of learning in Samarinda Public Middle Schools, with a focus on how school principals formulate and communicate the vision, mission, and goals of the school, plan and coordinate curriculum, and carry out instructional supervision in increasing learning effectiveness. This study used a qualitative interview design involving eight participants: two teachers, three vice principals, two school committee members, and one school principal. Interview data were analyzed interactively and thematically. The results of this study indicate that the principal's strategy is to formulate the school's vision, mission, and goals together with teachers, school committees, and stakeholders. The active involvement of all stakeholders is one of the keys to realizing the school's vision and mission. The principal encourages teachers' creative efforts in learning so that learning constraints are in the classroom. Efforts to develop and improve teacher quality and transparent and objective evaluation are necessary, and evaluation is the final activity of management processes and actions. The obstacles faced were that teachers could not use interactive with students freely, the delivery of student character was partially not fulfilled, counselling guidance was not optimal, and extracurricular activities were not optimal. Efforts that have been made to overcome these obstacles are to maintain students' enthusiasm always to be active in learning, solicit learning feedback from students, and evaluate together.
