Abstract

Integrated educational management plays a vital role in enhancing national education quality, particularly in regions like Kepahiang Regency, which faces challenges of educational disparities between urban and rural schools. This study aims to explore the application of this approach to address such challenges and improve the quality of high school education. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that human resource management, curriculum, and infrastructure in Kepahiang schools are not yet fully optimized. Rural schools face limitations in facilities and training opportunities, while urban schools benefit from better resource access. The implemented Merdeka Curriculum shows potential but is hindered by inadequate infrastructure support. This study underscores the importance of collaboration among local governments, schools, and communities to achieve a more holistic and sustainable education system.

Abstract

The low level of students' understanding of zakat material poses a major challenge in fiqh learning at MAS PP Darussalam Kunir. The dominant lecture method, which is one-way and lacks interactivity, causes students to struggle in comprehending the concepts of nishab and zakat calculation. This learning process requires a more applicative approach to ensure that students not only understand the theory but are also able to apply it. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in fiqih lessons on zakat by implementing the demonstration method as a solution. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and quantitatively to measure the improvement in students' learning outcomes, and qualitatively to analyze the dynamics of the learning process. The results show that the demonstration method significantly improved learning outcomes. The average pre-test score in the first cycle was 44.5, increasing to 68.7 in the post-test. In the second cycle, the average pre-test score reached 69.7, with the post-test score rising to 81.6. Moreover, students were more motivated, better understood the material, and were active during the learning process. This method of demonstration has proven effective in addressing the challenges of teaching fiqh of zakat.

Abstract

In the world of education, the instillation of character values ​​is realized through educational policies to strengthen character in students known as Strengthening Character Education (PPK). One effort in implementing Strengthening Character Education (PPK) can be done through learning content implemented in schools. This study aims to gain an understanding of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) through IPS content contained in the material of various jobs in grade IV of Elementary School. The method used in this study is a literature review, with data analysis techniques through the stages of collecting, reducing, and drawing conclusions from various literature obtained from various sources. The results of the analysis found that Strengthening Character Education (PPK) through IPS content in the material of various jobs in grade IV of elementary school, emphasizes more on the values ​​of mutual cooperation and integrity. Social studies material for various jobs not only provides an understanding of the importance of dedication and responsibility to students, but also builds students' personal character who is independent, able to work together, and has high integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze integrated quality management and the importance of implementing integrated quality management in schools. The research focuses on two aspects: (1) The implementation of integrated quality management, and (2) The factors that support and hinder integrated quality management. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Rambutan in Banyuasin Regency, using a descriptive qualitative research method. The informants in this study included the school principal, administrative staff, teachers, parents, and students. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data in this study was ensured using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Based on the findings, the implementation of integrated quality management has been carried out well; however, there are still areas that need to be improved continuously across various fields each year. With the implementation of this integrated quality management, it is hoped that SMA Negeri 1 Rambutan will become a quality school capable of competing with other schools. Schools must apply the concept of integrated quality management in the future, focusing on the implementation of sustainable quality management principles, involving all components of the school, and being responsive to technological developments and the future needs of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the implementation of the Management Information System (SIM) in schools in order to improve administrative efficiency and learning quality. The research method used is qualitative descriptive by collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis from schools that have implemented driver's licenses. The results of the study show that the implementation of SIM is able to reduce the workload of teachers by up to 30% and reduce errors in data processing by up to 50%. The SIM also speeds up the administrative process, allowing teachers to focus more on teaching and interacting with students. However, the study also found several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure in remote areas and lack of training for teachers in using driver's licenses. The study concludes that the comprehensive implementation of driver's licenses, with adequate infrastructure support and training for teachers, can have a significant positive impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia. A wider and more equitable implementation of SIM is urgently needed to ensure that all schools can experience the benefits of this technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and constraints of the Tahfidz Quran House (RTQ) Financing and Development Program in Musi Rawas Regency, which will be carried out from 2023 to 2024. A qualitative approach was used by collecting data through in-depth interviews with the Secretary of the RTQ Coordination Team, direct observation of several fostered RTQs, and interviews with Tahfidz teachers. The results of the study show that this program aims to improve the quality of human resources through memorization and practice of the Quran, with the target of establishing 200 RTQs evenly in all sub-districts. The implementation of the program includes a strict selection of Tahfidz teachers, adequate learning facilities, and regular incentives for teaching staff. The obstacles faced include the heterogeneity of participants' abilities, communication gaps due to language differences, and uneven distribution of RTQs. However, strategic measures such as a differentiated approach to learning, the use of Indonesian, and results-based management have successfully overcome most of these challenges. This program has a positive impact by creating free Al-Quran education opportunities, increasing community motivation to send children to RTQ, and strengthening religious identity in Musi Rawas Regency. However, capacity building for Tahfidz teachers through training is considered important to face future challenges. Continuous evaluation and support from various parties are needed to maintain the quality and sustainability of the program.

Abstract

The Background of this research explains the context of Indonesia as a multicultural and multireligious country, where religious moderation is a key element in maintaining social harmony and peace. The application of religious moderation and diversity values at MAN 1 Nganjuk through the Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin Student Profile Strengthening Project (P2RA) is one way to shape a moderate and tolerant generation. This research uses a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is on the implementation of the Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin Student Profile Strengthening Project (P2RA) and the impact it has on 11th-grade students at MAN 1 Nganjuk. The research results show the implementation stage, project activities begin to be implemented according to plan, with implementation carried out in an integrated and collaborative manner by educators. The final stage of PPRA is evaluation. This evaluation includes an attitude assessment by measuring the achievement of Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Student's character and diversity which is categorized into several levels: MB (starting to develop), B (developing), BSH (developing according to expectations), and SB (very developing). Reflection is carried out to review successes, shortcomings and obstacles faced for future improvements

Abstract

This thesis is the result of research that presents the potential for teaching staff management in improving the quality of education for mentally retarded students at SLB C Dharma Wanita Pare. The purpose of this research is to determine the management of teaching staff at SLB C Dharma Wanita Pare which includes planning, implementation, evaluation as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely research that is oriented towards natural phenomena based on what occurs in the field and the approach used in this research is a case study. The results of this research show that: 1) Planning the management of teaching staff, namely by conducting a job analysis regarding the form of work, duties and positions to ensure that students' educational needs are met, 2) Implementation of teaching staff management is carried out through several processes, namely recruitment, selection, job placement, compensation, training and development, and dismissal of teaching staff, all of which went well because a thorough planning process had previously been carried out by the school principal, 3) Evaluation of the management of teaching staff was carried out in the form of supervision to measure the extent of effectiveness the work of teaching staff in meeting the needs of students. 4) Supporting and inhibiting factors greatly influence the success of the teaching staff management process, both from the school principal, the competence of teaching staff, facilities and infrastructure, financing, as well as the participation of parents and the school committee. The practical implications of the results of this research are that it is intended for educational institutions with a similar culture, namely schools with students with special needs only, whereas for educational institutions in general it is certainly very different, considering the learning environment is with ordinary regular students, so there are no specialties that must be had. by educators.

Abstract

Radicalism among students poses a significant challenge to higher education institutions, as it undermines the development of a tolerant and moderate society. This study examines a curriculum development model based on Aswaja (Ahlussunnah wal jama’ah) and pesantren values at Institut Agama Islam Faqih Asy’ari (IAIFA) Kediri to counter radicalism and promote Islamic moderation. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the curriculum’s theoretical framework, management components, and implementation across six academic programs. The findings reveal that IAIFA Kediri integrates moderate Islamic teachings through subjects like Moderate Islamic Studies and Islamic classical texts (Kitab Kuning). Students are also immersed in pesantren environments that uphold tolerance and inclusivity. The curriculum model employs four perspectives: academic subjects, humanistic approaches, technological tools, and social reconstruction. This comprehensive design ensures the balance between academic excellence, personal growth, and social impact. The study concludes that pesantren-based curricula can effectively instill values of moderation and prevent the spread of radical ideologies. These findings contribute to the theoretical and practical development of Islamic education by offering a scalable model for other institutions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in fostering the advancement of a nation. The demand for highly qualified human resources with extensive insights encompasses not only general knowledge but also a solid moral foundation. This study aims to explore the relationship between the integration of Islamic values and the academic performance of students in the PGSD Penjas programme. In the current era of rapid globalisation and digitalisation, character education has emerged as a significant issue that continues to be advocated within the educational system in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational design, targeting the entire population of PGSD Penjas students. The research sample consists of 52 students, selected using purposive sampling techniques based on the following criteria: 1) Active PGSD Penjas students, 2) Those who have completed the PAI (Islamic Religious Education) course, and 3) Students who are at least in their third semester. The results indicate a significant relationship between the integration of Islamic values and the academic performance of PGSD Penjas students, with a calculated r value of 0.297. This value suggests that the relationship between the two variables is at a low level. These findings imply that, in addition to the integration of Islamic values, other factors also influence students' academic performance, such as teaching methods, learning motivation, and the academic environment. Therefore, further research is necessary to identify these factors in order to enhance the learning process sustainably.
