Ghaidan Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling Islam dan Kemasyarakatan is a double-blind peer-reviewed and open-access journal that contained articles related to guidance and counseling and published biannually (Juny and December) by the Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang and managed by the Study Program of Bimbingan dan Penyuluhan Islam Faculty of Dakwah dan Komunikasi. Abstract

Bullying behavior is a problem in this research. With cases of bullying behavior carried out by students against their own friends, such as physical, verbal, cyberbullying and relational bullying. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out whether there is an influence of bullying behavior on students' self-confidence at SMAN 3 Depok. This research uses associative quantitative which looks at the influence between variables X and Y. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, totaling 260 people. The research results showed "there is no positive and significant influence between bullying behavior and the self-confidence of students at SMAN 3 Depok" as seen from the Fcount < Ftable value, namely 1.847 < 3.86. So, it can be interpreted that Ho, who states that bullying behavior has no positive effect on students' self-confidence, and Ha's consequences are rejected. The variable bullying behavior on self-confidence is 19%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this research. Keywords: Bullying behavior, self-confidence.

Abstract

Students have various learning styles, based on this, teachers must work hard in providing lessons. Sometimes teachers complain because the lesson material provided does not seem easy for students to accept. Therefore, as a result, there needs to be countermeasures to overcome this problem, namely by recognizing the learning style of each student. Learning style profiling assessments analyze how students like and understand learning material. To ensure that students' learning styles can develop as expected, teaching strategies must be adapted to various student learning styles. Therefore, by using a learning style profiling assessment, teachers must know the learning styles desired by students because by knowing them, teachers will be able to understand and have strategies that are considered most appropriate for delivering learning in the classroom. This research was conducted at Al-Ihsan Middle School, Jakarta. The research method used is the Four D (4-D) development model which is reduced to 3-D, namely define, design and develop. The population of this research was 30 students in class VIII of Al-Ihsan Middle School, Jakarta. The results of this research illustrate that class VIII students at Al-Ihsan Middle School, Jakarta, have a variety of learning styles, namely 34.50% visual, 35.17% auditory and 30.33% kinesthetic. If teachers can recognize and understand students' learning style tendencies, then it will be very valuable in knowing the extent to which students have achieved cognitive competence.

Abstract

Third-grade vocational high school students had high academic demands and also faced lots of new experiences and challenges between school, extracurricular activities, and social life. It raised negative emotions that are sometimes uncontrollable so that affected student’s ability to complete their academic assignments well. In this situation, students were expected to build resilience, selfcontrol, and positive emotions which will make them more likely to succeed. The aim of the present research was to determine the relationship of self-control and pride with resilience in the third-grade vocational high school students. The research sample consisted of 177 who were selected through the cluster random sampling method. To collect data, resilience scale, self-control scale, and achievement emotions scale were used. The results showed that pride was the positive emotion that affected student resilience the most. Also, pride and self-control are positively related (r=04.76). By using multiple linear regression analysis, the prediction of the effect of these variables on the resilience can be obtained. The values of the multivariable determination coefficient was 0.610, indicating that at least 61% variation on the resilience was determined by combination of self-control and pride. The results that increase of self-control and encourage of pride become more resilience leads to more success causes they allow to learn and grow in all situations.   KEYWORDS: resilience; self-control; pride, students, vocational high school

Abstract

Covering a woman's private parts is proof that she loves Allah SWR. and obey the commands of Allah SWT. She is a woman who longs for heaven as an eternal residence in the future. The aim of this research is to find out how to increase understanding regarding the obligation to cover the private parts for women through group guidance based on the Koran for students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling study program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects were 10 students of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses qualitative descriptive data analysis. This research obtained results namely that group guidance based on the Koran was implemented through four stages, namely the formation stage, transition stage, activity stage and termination stage. Then, understanding of the obligation to cover the private parts of students has increased, namely understanding of the meaning of private parts, the limits of private parts for women, the law on covering private parts, as well as threats for women who do not want to cover private parts.

Abstract

In this complex era, psychological and emotional challenges are increasing. Psychotherapy has become a commonly used way to help individuals overcome these problems, but in a society that leans more toward a secular outlook, the spiritual aspect is often overlooked. So it is necessary to know the principles of Sufism from an Islamic perspective in the practice of psychotherapy, with the hope of improving the mental well-being of Muslim individuals. This research aims to explore the implementation of an integrative approach between Sufism and psychotherapy in the context of understanding Islamic values ​​in order to improve the mental well-being of Muslim individuals. Apart from that, the aim of this research is to examine the main objectives of Sufism which is based on the Koran and Sunnah. This research applies qualitative methods using a literature study approach and descriptive analysis techniques. Mental and mental disorders are often caused by being too attached to the material world, and the Koran recommends that Muslims always remember Allah to achieve peace of mind. The Koran is an effective way to heal sick souls and mental disorders. Sufism as a form of spiritual medicine in Islam, is seen as a way to overcome mental and mental disorders. Even though Sufism is not included in the official teachings of Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamaah, it is still considered part of Islam and uses the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah as references in treatment.

Abstract

One of them is the lack of adequate counselor skills in the use of technology for guidance and counseling services. In the current era, guidance and counseling services are faced with various challenges and opportunities. One of them, counselors must be able to adapt to technological developments. This is a need for the younger generation in the current era as recipients of guidance and counseling services. One use of technology in guidance and counseling is to develop service media via the Google sites. Counselors need to receive training in media development for guidance and counseling services via the Google sites. Google sites provides ease of use and high accessibility so that it will make it easier for counselees to understand and increase students' interest and motivation to participate in guidance and counseling services. The targets of the training were 30 high school guidance and counseling teachers who were members of the Yogyakarta Special Region High School Guidance and Counseling Teachers' Conference. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting observational data, comprehension tests, and content development results. The results of the training show an increase in the ability of guidance and counseling teachers in developing online guidance and counseling service media using the Google sites.

Abstract

Based on the results of preliminary data observations carried out by the research team on several students, it was found that some did not understand or know about sex. For students, sex is a form of behavior in the form of getting pregnant outside of marriage, kissing, or even just hugging. Sexual intercourse is considered a natural thing but is contrary to character education. Character education is needed to form an understanding of sex among students. Quantitative research with descriptive analysis using survey methods with the principle of item-total correlation. The total research sample consisted of 145 students, 83 Untad students, and 62 Bengkalis stain students through simple random sampling with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the validity trial, there were 17 valid items on the independent variable and 8 valid items on the dependent variable. This research questionnaire has gone through a process of validity and reliability stages. Research on perceptions of character education on understanding sex among students is in the low category.

Abstract

Teenagers often think about the possibilities that could happen. They think about ideal characteristics of themselves, others, and the world. We often encounter individuals with pleasant attitudes in life. However, sometimes, they don't realize they have symptoms of a people-pleasing attitude. Attachment does not always have a good impact on a person, especially when the individual enters the world of adolescence. This research analyzes the relationship between People-Pleasure and Attachment of SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin students. The research design used is correlational research of two variables: variable (X) People Pleasing and variable (Y) Attachment. The sample was taken using random sampling from 62 students. The scale used in this research is People Pleasing by Braiker (2001), which consists of 24 items, and the Attachment Scale (Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment/IPPA) by Armsden & Mark T. Greenberg in 1987, which consists of 25 items.  Validity in this research is in the form of Pearson Correlation people pleaser validity 0,63 and Attachment 0,58, and reliability in this research is Cronbach's Alpha with people pleaser reliability 0.722 and Attachment 0.703. The hypothesis test results show a very strong and significant correlation between the people-pleasing and Attachment variables of 0.944.

Abstract

Early adults experience a transition period from adolescence to adulthood with responsible roles involving themselves in social relationships and exploration. The changes that occur are not only biological but also psychological. Feelings of loneliness can arise because individuals feel dissatisfied with the relationships or social relationships they are currently in. Although not everyone with self-harm behavior will always end up committing suicide, people with this behavior are at risk. Suicide, suicide attempts, self-harm, and suicidal ideation are significant public health problems among the younger generation. This research aims to determine the correlation between loneliness, self-harm and suicidal ideation in high school students who live on the riverbank. This researcher used correlation statistics to test the relationship between Loneliness, Self-Harm and Suicidal Ideation in high school students living in Pinggiran Sungai. Samples were taken using random sampling. This research uses several data analysis techniques. Product moment correlation is used to test the relationship between two variables and multiple regression and ANOVA are used to test hypotheses about the relationship between two or more variables together. Validity in this research is in the form of Pearson Correlation Loneliness validity 0.75, Self-Harm 0.78, Suicidal Ideation 0.80, and reliability in this research is Cronbach's Alpha with reliability loneliness 0.82, self-harm 0.85, Suicidal ideation 0.88This research found a significant relationship between Loneliness (X1) and Self-Harm (X2) with Suicidal Ideation (Y). Loneliness has a greater influence (coefficient 0.414) than Self-Harm (coefficient 0.109). Overall, these two variables are significant in influencing Suicidal Ideation in high school students on the riverbank.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of guidance and counselling teachers in improving the self-control of broken home students. In this study researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques are observation, interviews conducted with 5 broken home students who have low self-control and counseling teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak Timur, and documentation. The data analysis method that researchers use is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making and data validity testing using the source triangulation method and method triangulation. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak Timur. The results of this study obtained that the role of the Guidance and Counselling Teacher is very important in helping broken home students improve their self-control. However, the implementation of counselling activities found inhibiting factors, including the lack of support and environment from the family and limited school facilities. therefore as a counseling teacher must continue to monitor the development and solve the problems experienced by students at SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak Timur.
