Ghaidan Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling Islam dan Kemasyarakatan is a double-blind peer-reviewed and open-access journal that contained articles related to guidance and counseling and published biannually (Juny and December) by the Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang and managed by the Study Program of Bimbingan dan Penyuluhan Islam Faculty of Dakwah dan Komunikasi. This research aims to examine the influence of father involvement in the family counseling process, as well as identify effective strategies to increase father participation in therapy sessions. This study used quantitative and qualitative approaches to collect data from families who attended family counseling at three therapy centers in a large city. Quantitative data were obtained through questionnaires assessing the father's level of involvement and perceived therapy outcomes, while in-depth interviews with fathers, mothers, and therapists provided qualitative insight into their experiences and perceptions. The results showed that fathers' active involvement in family counseling was positively related to improving children's emotional health and the quality of family relationships. Factors influencing father participation include work schedule, perception of the value of therapy, and method of counseling approach used. The study also found that strategies such as flexible scheduling, inclusive counseling approaches, and education about the benefits of father involvement can increase their participation.

To deal with students from different cultural backgrounds (multicultural) it is very appropriate to be handled by the Guidance and Guidance Teacher. SMA in Barabai City is a school that has students and teaching staff who have ethnic, cultural and religious diversity. However, the teaching staff in the city of Barabai in terms of knowledge and skills for understanding multicultural counseling is still lacking. The aim of carrying out this community service activity is so that teaching staff, especially high school level guidance and counseling teachers in Barabai City, have the knowledge and skills to handle students who have socio-cultural problems. The method used is lecture and question and answer techniques with a duration of 2x60 minutes with the topic of delivering material on basic concepts and the urgency of multicultural counseling in schools. The targets of the activities taken were 25 guidance and counseling teachers who were members of the Barabai City High School MGBK. The results obtained are improvements in community values (arts, culture, social, politics, security, peace, education and health) at Barabai City High School.

Religious counselor are extension workers who carry out counseling in religious language where the counseling carried out is the implementation of national development. Changes in performance and extension services during the pandemic shifted to using cyber media, where cyber media is media related to computer and information systems with information dissemination in the implementation of the extension carried out. The research conducted by the author is using exploratory qualitative, where the author wants to find cyber counseling efforts carried out by the Semarang City Religious Counselor. The results of the research conducted showed that the implementation of information dissemination carried out by religious instructors was carried out in three ways including: 1. Face-to-face media by visiting the Ministry of Religion or the local KUA, 2 Cyber media through the Ministry of Religion website and YouTube media in the dissemination of information carried out and 3. Blended in counseling services carried out with the community through social media. Cyber extension efforts carried out by religious counselor have not been optimal as for the causes including: 1. Consumptive behavior can be said to be the behavior of using every available item. Consumptive behavior is often carried out with the aim of fulfilling a need, whether primary or tertiary. Consumptive behavior is the behavior of buying goods excessively and irrationally without prioritizing needs. Consumptive behavior is often carried out with the aim of fulfilling a need, whether primary or tertiary. This research has short-term and long-term goals. The short-term objectives include: (1) to find out the description of consumer behavior at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin, (2) To find out the picture of consumptive behavior before and after participating in individual counseling with self-management techniques for students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin, (3) To knowing that the consumer behavior of SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmsin students can be overcome through group counseling with self-management techniques. Meanwhile, the long-term goals are: (1) literature for guidance and counseling teachers in guiding high school students who have consumer behavior, (2) as reference material for further research, (3) theoretical development in the field of guidance and counseling. The type of research used is experimental research (non-parametric). Researchers use this experimental pattern to see the effects of treatment (group counseling with self-management techniques) on other variables (consumptive behavior). This research is a type of quasi-experimental design, using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. With this design, it is determined that there is no control group. With the one group pre-test and post-test design method, this means that the sample is given a test before and after receiving a certain treatment, so that the subject is subjected to two measurements.

The research findings indicate a significant positive correlation between self-compassion and social anxiety among Banjar State High School students, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.396 and a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Additionally, there is a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and social anxiety, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.364 and a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). When examined together, self-compassion and self-efficacy show a significant combined relationship with social anxiety, yielding a correlation coefficient of r = 0.434 and a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This combined effect is stronger than the individual correlations of self-compassion (r = 0.396) and self-efficacy (r = 0.364) with social anxiety. Thus, the hypothesis stating that there is no relationship between self-compassion, self-efficacy, and social anxiety among Banjar State High School students is rejected.

The independent curriculum demands learning activities and guidance and counseling services in terms of technology-based student development, where the educational information delivered is packaged attractively and is easily accessible anywhere. This training aims to improve educators' skills in creating educational materials in the form of barcode-based digital posters. The number of respondents in this service activity was 42 people. Data collection used a training instrument for making barcode-based digital poster learning media. Data analysis using the Google Form application. The results of the training found that training in making barcode-based digital poster learning media was very useful for the participants. Research data found that there was an increase in skills in using the Canva application and the S.ID application. Implications in guidance and counseling services can provide interactive guidance and counseling services, especially in providing basic services as well as individual specialization and planning.

This research examines the relationship between the intensity of social media use and procrastination among high school students of the Banjar tribe. In today’s digital era, technology and information have become essential parts of everyday life, including in the education sector. Many schools now allow students to use cellphones for specific subjects to enhance learning. However, the easy access to social media through these devices can lead to procrastination, especially when students choose to spend time on social media rather than completing their academic tasks. This study utilizes descriptive and correlational methods to explore this relationship. The analysis reveals a correlation coefficient of 0.386, with a significance level of p = 0.000, indicating a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of social media use and procrastination. This means that as the intensity of social media usage increases, so does the likelihood of procrastination. These findings highlight the impact of social media on students’ academic performance and the importance of managing technology use in schools to avoid negative effects on time management and productivity.

Bullying is an action carried out with the aim of hurting or harming someone, either through cruel words, social exclusion or physical violence. This behavior can occur in a variety of environments, such as school, work, or even online, and often leaves a deep psychological impact on the victim. This research aims to explore the phenomenon of bullying in junior secondary education. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Sampling used random sampling techniques and a sample of 100 students at Junior High School (SMP) was obtained. Data collection used the Bullying Behavior Tendency Instrument in Secondary Students. Data analysis uses item analysis, indicators with classification techniques for the level of student bullying behavior using Excel and SPSS. The research results found that indicators of bullying behavior were generally in the very low category and indicators of having experienced bullying were mostly in the very low category, but some were in the very low, medium and high categories. It was then found that there were significant differences in bullying behavior in terms of gender, while there was no difference in the level of bullying received in terms of gender, meaning that the bullying behavior received was relatively the same between men and women.

This research aims to try to find out how students can balance the use of gadgets with self-control so that they can minimize the occurrence of procrastination behavior. One of the causes of the problem of procrastination is self-control, students who have activities other than academics predominantly have low self-control. Low self-control can impact academic procrastination, and students consciously use time for other more enjoyable activities, namely by playing with gadgets, and using gadgets without limits, making it difficult for students to control these actions. This research method is non-experimental research because no manipulation of the independent variables was carried out. The variables studied are Problem self-control, use of gadgets, and procrastination. The participants in this research were 202 students (95 men and 107 women) aged 20-26 years, residing in Surabaya; and is currently completing his Thesis (Final Student). The research results show that the level of self-control, level of gadget use, and level of procrastination are moderate, and the F-test analysis hypothesis testing in this research is in the form of a known Sig value. Amounting to 0.021 (<0.05), it can be concluded that self-control and gadget use have a significant effect simultaneously (together) on student procrastination.

Women are one component of society that is able to be involved in development. However, in reality, in the eyes of society, women are still considered weak creatures. Such a societal view will hinder and limit women's space for movement in the environment. Limited space for movement causes a lack of independence in women which ultimately becomes a crucial problem in society. Women who are not independent can hinder community development because they are unable to develop their potential. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to identify efforts to empower women in increasing independence through community counseling by providing batik training. The method used in this study is a literature review. The sources used in the study came from Google Scholar, Researchgate, and Publish or Perish with research limitations from 2019 to 2024. The results of the study show that community counseling with batik training can be used and is effective in increasing independence and as a means of empowering women in the PKK organization. With these activities, women in the PKK organization are able to actualize themselves by realizing their potential to then be developed optimally so that they are formed as independent and empowered individuals.
