Abstract

This study investigates what compels millennial customers in West Java to save with Rural Banks (Bank Perekonomian Rakyat). By analyzing data from nearly 200 respondents, the research isolates the comparative impact of institutional trust versus service quality on financial decision-making. The results offer a compelling strategic insight: while trust is a fundamental baseline, service quality is the dominant driver, wielding a significantly stronger influence on saving behavior. Specifically, millennials prioritize reliability and digital convenience over traditional reputation alone. Together, these two factors account for 58% of a customer's decision to save. For Rural Banks, the managerial implication is clear. To capture this demographic, institutions must evolve beyond legacy relationships and aggressively enhance digital capabilities and transparency. Long-term competitiveness relies on blending the integrity of community banking with the seamless efficiency of modern service.

Abstract

Human resource development for Generation Alpha is based on the concepts of education and technology, due to daily habits that are closely linked to technology. However, the work abilities of Generation Alpha, characterized by their adaptability to technology and strong desire to learn, are not yet fully balanced due to a lack of soft skills such as communication, leadership, and social empathy. Respondents in this study were taken from secondary school students born after 2010. Using a verifiable quantitative research method based on literature studies, it was revealed that the variable of psychological well-being functions as a mediator between digital literacy and work readiness as well as soft skills and work readiness.  It is understood that optimal digital and social skills for use in the workplace also depend on mental balance and the ability to manage stress.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of extrinsic motivation and knowledge sharing on employee performance, with innovative behavior as a mediating variable. The approach used is quantitative, with an explanatory research design. Data were collected from 65 employees of a construction company via questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study shows that extrinsic motivation and knowledge sharing positively contribute to innovative behavior and that innovative behavior significantly influences employee performance. Recognizing these findings can inspire researchers and practitioners to foster motivation and knowledge sharing for better performance. However, knowledge sharing does not directly affect performance, and innovative behavior does not mediate the relationship between extrinsic motivation and performance. Conversely, innovative behavior has been shown to act as a significant mediating variable in influencing knowledge sharing and employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of establishing a company is to operate over an extended period, so company should have ability in competing. The competitiveness of a company can be captured by prioritizing the competitive advantage of human resources (HR), because HR is a key resource in a company. However, in reality the competitive advantage of HR is still relatively weak. This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) competency using the Model of People Capability Maturity (PCM) to determine its impact on HR competitive advantage. The research sample was 426 respondents who were taken using a quota sampling technique from a population of employees at three networked companies in Bali. The analysis technique uses linear regression analysis with SPSS v.23 application. Human resource competencies based on the model of Model of PCM significantly influence the competitive advantage of human resources, with four components, namely: strategic partner, administrative expert, employee champion, and change agent.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of organizational ambidexterity and innovation on the marketing performance of Indonesian coffee shop MSMEs. Using survey data from 203 MSMEs and analyzed with SEM-PLS, the findings reveal that innovation has a strong and significant positive effect on marketing performance, reflected in sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion. In contrast, organizational ambidexterity does not have a significant direct impact on marketing performance. This result indicates that, in resource-constrained MSMEs, ambidexterity functions primarily as a supporting capability that sustains innovation rather than as a direct driver of market outcomes. The novelty of this study lies in demonstrating that ambidexterity’s contribution to MSME performance is predominantly indirect and context-dependent, particularly in service-based MSMEs within developing economies. The findings suggest that MSMEs should prioritize innovation as a core strategy to enhance marketing performance while maintaining ambidexterity to support long-term innovation sustainability.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing users' continuance intention (CI) in fintech mobile payment services, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era. With the rapid adoption of digital payment methods, the research examines key determinants such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, security and privacy, satisfaction, and habit. An explanatory quantitative research design was employed, analyzing data from 101 respondents. The results reveal that habit and satisfaction are the primary drivers of continuance intention, while traditional factors such as ease of use and trust become less significant in the post-adoption phase. These findings challenge established models and highlight the shift in user behavior towards habitual use and emotional satisfaction. This study contributes to the literature by offering an integrated model for understanding user retention in the fintech sector and provides practical insights for fintech providers to enhance customer engagement and foster long-term loyalty.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between dividend policy and profitability among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020-2024. Employing panel data analysis on manufacturing and service sector firms, this research examines how profitability metrics influence dividend payout decisions. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between ROA, ROE, and dividend payout ratios, supporting signaling theory. Firm size, leverage, and free cash flow are identified as important determinants of dividend policy. Results provide valuable insights for investors, managers, and policymakers, suggesting that profitable firms distribute higher dividends to signal financial strength and reduce agency conflicts.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of Brand Attachment, Brand Characteristics, Service Quality, Servicescape, and Food and Beverage Quality on Revisit Intention, mediated by Customer Brand Attitude and Customer Satisfaction. The sample consists of 500 Generation Z consumers from five coffee shop brands in Jakarta. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings show that Brand Attachment and Brand Characteristics significantly influence Customer Brand Attitude, while Service Quality and Food and Beverage Quality positively affect Customer Satisfaction. Both mediating variables significantly influence Revisit Intention and mediate the relationships between antecedent variables and Revisit Intention. In contrast, Servicescape does not significantly affect Customer Satisfaction among Generation Z consumers. This study contributes to service marketing literature by integrating branding and quality perspectives. However, the cross-sectional design and geographic focus limit generalizability.

Abstract

This study examines how working conditions influence gig workers’ participation in employment social security programs. Using a quantitative explanatory survey, it analyzes the effects of income level, working hours, and order stability on participation, with employment relationship status as a mediating variable and financial literacy and social security literacy as moderating variables. Data were collected from 300 gig workers engaged in ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics platforms through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to test direct, indirect, and moderating effects simultaneously. The findings show that income, working hours, and order stability significantly affect employment relationship status, which in turn positively influences social security participation. Financial literacy strengthens this relationship, whereas social security literacy does not show a moderating effect. Overall, the results highlight the importance of employment clarity and financial capability in expanding gig workers’ social protection inclusion.
