Abstract

Nowadays, national problems continue to emerge in the world of education, including intolerance which violates the values of Pancasila. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture continues to strive to overcome these various problems. One of the efforts made was to initiate the Pancasila Student Profile, a profile of the ideal Indonesian student, of course according to Pancasila. The aim of this research is to find out more about what the Pancasila Student Profile is, and what its implications are for students' personal resilience. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The research results show that the Pancasila Student Profile includes noble character, independence, critical reasoning, creativity, mutual cooperation and global diversity. The Pancasila Student Profile has implications for students' personal resilience because it directs students to become individuals with character in accordance with Pancasila which is summarized in a Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of achievement motivation and interest in learning on the English learning outcomes of class XI IPS students at Dian Andalas High School, Padang. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The population in this study were all students in class XI IPS at SMA Dian Andalas Padang, totaling 130 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. The number of samples in this research was 98 students. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.The results of multiple regression show that (1) Achievement motivation has a significant positive effect on students' English learning outcomes. (2) Interest in learning has a significant negative effect on students' English learning outcomes. (3) Achievement motivation and interest in learning have a significant effect on students' English learning outcomes together.Based on the research results, it is recommended that schools, subject teachers and guidance and counseling teachers provide equal opportunities for all students to take part in various academic competitions that suit the students' potential. This will help grow students' motivation to excel and help increase students' interest in learning to be even better.Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Interest in Learning and English Learning Results.

Abstract

The significance on the implementation of inquiry-based learning using digital experiment guidance on learning outcomes and students' critical thinking is the aim of the research that being carried out. 2 cycles of classroom action research is the research design used. 30 participants (19 boys and 11 girls) in class V of SD N 2 Kalipucangwetan, Welahan, Jepara academic year 2023/2024 were participants in the research. Summative test, formative test, and observation were the instruments of the research. Class actions influenced increasing the average score of learning outcomes respectively by 66.9, 68.9 and 76.2 (precycle to cycle II). The increasing of classical completeness (KK) was 57%, 67% and 83% respectively (precycle to cycle II). The. critical thinking skills average achievement score increased from 76.25 to 79.86 with 100% classical completion by the end of cycle II. The research found the significance on the implementation of the learning model.

Abstract

The lack of students' ability to manage their study time results in low learning discipline. Self-management is part of behavioral techniques to change the behavior of counselees through an approach that helps in managing time effectively. Therefore, the researcher chose this technique for a study aimed at transforming students' behavior from having poor time management to good time management. Based on the research conducted in grade X, it was found that the use of group guidance with a self-management approach was effective in helping students improve their learning discipline. By providing group guidance services, several causes of students' low learning discipline, such as being late to class, reluctance to take notes, not paying attention to the teacher's explanation, causing disturbances in class, and wasting available study time, could be minimized..

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of the Education Report (Rapor Pendidikan) as a tool for school principals to improve the quality of learning through reflection and improvement by teachers in elementary schools. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to principals and teachers at each elementary school in Jepara District. The results show that the Education Report has been utilized for data-based planning, formulating school policies/programs, teacher learning activities aimed at enhancing teaching knowledge and skills, and for reflection and improvement of learning. Overall, the platform has proven beneficial in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools in Jepara District. Recommendations include: more extensive socialization about the benefits and usage of the platform, intensive training for principals and teachers on data analysis and decision-making, and the development of the platform with more complete and user-friendly features.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with a variety of intracurricular learning models where the content will be more optimal so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. Teachers have the freedom to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be tailored to the learning needs and interests of students. The problems faced by teachers related to the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum are that there are many components that require readiness for teachers to apply the independent curriculum, including lack of experience with independent learning, lack of references, uneven access to learning and time management. . The aim of this research is to qualitatively analyze teacher readiness in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum. The method used in writing this article uses a descriptive-qualitative method. In this research, the author focuses on problems based on facts which are carried out by observation, interviews, and studying available documents with the assistance of the Class Teacher. The results of the research show that in terms of teacher administration, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum is based on the availability of documents which include books, teaching modules, step learning objectives, annual programs, semester programs, educational calendars and details of effective weeks at SDN 02 Kuwaron Gubug Grobogan, which are already available. Completely so that in general they are ready to apply the Independent Learning Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to enhance self-identity among Generation Z students in class VIII A at SMPN 3 Denpasar. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically using the one-group pre-test post-test design. The subjects of the study consisted of 8 students from a single class. Data was collected through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires assessing self-identity. The results indicated a significant improvement in self-identity scores following the CBT intervention, with students showing increased self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a clearer sense of personal values. The findings suggest that CBT can be an effective method for enhancing self-identity in adolescents, particularly in the context of Generation Z students.

Abstract

This study explores the development of Magic Card media to boost student engagement in solar system learning and facilitate conceptual understanding. The research is driven by the recognition that student participation is crucial for a successful learning environment. Therefore, designing relevant and engaging learning activities becomes essential. To address student participation and learning outcomes, the author created a media tool called Magic Card. This media involves group competitions where students match answer cards with planet nameplates and receive immediate feedback through magically lit lamps (correct = on, wrong = off). A classroom action research approach was employed in class VI of SDN Tanggultlare, involving a total of 11 students. The results revealed a significant improvement from the pre-cycle to cycle two. Student participation increased from 40.00% to 90.92%, and learning achievement rose from an average score of 67.55 to 85.45.

Abstract

Many high school students still struggle with speaking, especially pronunciation and word choice that reflects their intended meaning. The study aims to know the effectiveness of using the Cake application to teach speaking skills. This research used a quantitative method and used a pre-experimental design. The sample consists of 35 students from XI F 6 of SMA 2 Bae Kudus. The research used a speaking test as the research data. The result of this study revealed the average value of the pre-test was 34.6, while the average value of the post-test was 49.5. The result of the analysis from SPSS revealed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 0.05. If the value has a significance value (p-value) of 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05, then this indicates that the difference between the pre-test and post-test is highly significant. Therefore, the Cake application is effective in teaching speaking skills. Future research might consider the length of the research treatment and according to the material of the subject year.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the improvement in students' learning independence through group counseling for Class VII A students. The research subjects consisted of 7 students with low learning independence, selected from a total of 36 students in Class VII A. The research was conducted using a guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) approach in two cycles. The results after the first cycle showed an increase in learning independence ranging from 38.46% to 52.63%. When converted into an ideal minimum score, this translated to scores between 54% and 59%, which fell into the moderate category. The researchers noted that further improvement was necessary for optimal development. In the second cycle, the students' learning independence improved significantly, ranging from 33.93% to 43.64%, with ideal scores between 75% and 80%, which placed them in the high to very high category. Overall, there was an average increase of 38.15% in learning independence.
