Abstract

Community service thru the Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to enhance the role of students in supporting community development and empowerment. This article aims to describe the implementation and contribution of the KKN activities in Sungai Kepayang Village, Senyerang District, in the fields of education, religion, health, environment, and community social affairs. The methods used in this service activity are observation and direct participation of students in various work programs designed based on the needs of the village community. The activities carried out include religious teaching such as teaching Quran recitation, Yasinan, and Habshi activities; educational activities such as study guidance, teaching and learning activities (KBM) in schools, and the creation of prayer and intention guides for kindergarten/early childhood education; health and sports activities such as Posyandu and gymnastics; and social and environmental activities in the form of mutual cooperation, anti-bullying seminars, online sports and game tournaments, the creation of public facility signs, herbal gardens, biodegradable waste education boards, and village boundary markers. The results of the activity show an increase in community participation, the strengthening of religious and social values, and an increase in community awareness of health, education, and environmental cleanliness. Thus, the implementation of KKN in Sungai Kepayang Village has a positive impact in supporting village development and strengthening the role of students as agents of change in society.

Abstract

Mathematics learning on the topic BRSL, particularly the determination of surface area, is often hampered by the abstract nature of the concept and the lack of adequate visual representation. This condition has the potential to hinder students' conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning abilities. We often find low student understanding and learning outcomes on this material. This luper borubung teaching aid is based on the urgency of developing learning aids that can bridge the gap between theory and visual reality. Students are introduced to the use of the luper borubung teaching aid, then given a test at the end of the activity containing BRSL material. The test results showed 71% of students in the good category. Students are enthusiastic, the learning atmosphere is more enjoyable and meaningful because they construct their own knowledge with the help of the luper borubung teaching aid.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains prevalent in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas like Pendua Village. This condition is caused by long-term nutritional deficiencies and is often linked to poverty, inadequate parenting, and limited access to health services. This study aims to analyze efforts to provide Supplementary Feeding (PMT) as a strategy for preventing and managing stunting in Pendua Village. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through observation, interviews with Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) cadres, health workers, and mothers of toddlers, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the PMT program provided to toddlers at risk of stunting has had a positive impact on improving children's nutritional status. The PMT provided is based on local foods such as mung beans, eggs, and vegetables, tailored to children's nutritional needs. Furthermore, regular nutrition education activities for parents have strengthened the program's effectiveness. However, challenges remain, such as limited funding, varying levels of maternal knowledge, and program sustainability. In conclusion, PMT is an effective intervention in preventing and managing stunting, but it requires multisectoral support and active community involvement to achieve optimal and sustainable results.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase legal awareness among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Majene Regency through product brand registration and labeling. Based on local data, the majority of MSMEs have not registered their trademarks, making them vulnerable to piracy and difficult to penetrate the modern market. The program is implemented through five stages: observation, needs analysis, training, implementation, and evaluation. The training covers understanding trademark law, the importance of labeling, and technical assistance for trademark registration with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (DJKI). The results of the activity indicate an increase in MSMEs' knowledge and skills in legal protection of product identity and label quality, which impacts business competitiveness and sustainability. This activity also strengthens collaboration between academics, government, and the community in supporting the legality and professionalism of local MSMEs.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the skills and economic independence of the residents of Talabiu Village Woha District Bima Regency, through training in the production of soft-boned bandeng presto (pressure-cooked milkfish). Talabiu Village has significant potential in milkfish cultivation; however, the added value of its products remains low due to limited post-harvest processing. The training was organized by PKBM Arrahman in collaboration with the Directorate of Courses and Training, Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, from July 1 to 20, 2025. The implementation methods included socialization, participatory training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The training materials covered the potential of milkfish resources, the bandeng presto production process, sanitation and hygiene practices, packaging techniques, and basic marketing strategies. The results show that participants successfully completed all stages of the production process and produced bandeng presto with good organoleptic qualities (taste, aroma, and texture). This activity had a positive impact on improving participants’ technical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and the economic value of local fishery products. It is expected that this program will continue through independent production and the development of small-scale milkfish processing enterprises within the community.

Abstract

Flooding and river pollution in Wawonduru Village, Woja District, Dompu Regency are primarily caused by low public awareness of waste management and the absence of an integrated waste sorting and management system. This condition motivated the implementation of a community service program entitled EcoRevolusi Sungai, which aims to enhance community capacity and participation in waste management based on circular economy principles and technological innovation. The program employed a participatory approach encompassing socialization activities, training, workshops, the provision of waste-sorting facilities, mentoring, and evaluation. The target groups included Karang Taruna ASWAD, the Wawonduru Student and Youth Association (KEMAP-W), and the surrounding community. The results indicate the availability of waste-sorting facilities in the form of Five-Category Waste Bins (T-5K), the implementation of the SIMAS SAKIKU Digital Waste Bank System, the utilization of organic waste composters, and an improvement in the knowledge and skills of partners in community-based waste management. Socialization and mentoring activities encouraged behavioral changes from indiscriminate waste disposal toward more responsible waste sorting and management practices. Furthermore, the role of youth organizations as managers of the waste bank and digital system was strengthened, leading to the establishment of a sustainable community-based waste management system that contributes to reducing environmental pollution and flood risks in Wawonduru Village. The EcoRevolusi Sungai program demonstrates potential as a community engagement model for village-level environmental management and flood risk reduction.

Abstract

The quality of learning in higher education is largely determined by the availability of systematically designed learning tools based on learning outcomes. One of the main tools required for lecturers is the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and Student Worksheet (LKM), which align with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach and the Independent Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) policy. However, various obstacles remain in developing RPS and LKM in accordance with these standards, particularly among permanent lecturers at the Lombok Business Academy. This Community Service activity aims to implement the latest RPS development model and LKM development through a learning tool development workshop. The activity implementation method uses a participatory approach through the stages of needs analysis, planning, workshop implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and follow-up. Participants are permanent lecturers at the Lombok Business Academy. Data collection techniques include pre- and post-tests, assessments of RPS and LKM products, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results of the activity show a significant increase in lecturers' understanding of OBE-based RPS development and LKM development. Furthermore, all participants successfully produced revised lesson plans (RPS) and student worksheets (LKM) in accordance with current standards. Participants' responses to the implementation of the activity were also very positive, both in terms of materials, methods, and mentoring. This activity had a positive impact on improving lecturer competency and strengthening the quality of learning at the Lombok Business Academy. Thus, this activity proved effective in enhancing lecturers' abilities to develop high-quality learning tools oriented towards student learning outcomes.
