Abstract

High-quality information and services are expected to increase customer confidence in the online market. Customer trust is expected to increase customer buying interest, regardless of gender. This study aims to investigate the increase in consumer buying interest through trust as an intervening variable and gender as a moderation variable. The population in this study is online market customers. Meanwhile, the research sample amounted to 306 customers located in the Jakarta area. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Validity tests and reliability tests are carried out to find out that the indicators used meet the research requirements. Next, a research model test was carried out. The data analysis techniques used include path analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Test the model using SmartPLS 4 software. The study found that high-quality information and services significantly increased customer buying interest. The results of the direct hypothesis test and the hypothesis test were not directly accepted, except for the indirect hypothesis test regarding the indirect influence of confidence on buying interest moderated by gender variables. Further research is expected to develop similar research variables and indicators so that it can strengthen the results of this research.

Abstract

Human resources are vital to organizational success, especially in healthcare, where psychological and organizational factors influence service quality. This study examines how self-efficacy and perceived organizational support affect organizational citizenship behavior through employee engagement among nurses at health centers. The study aims to determine whether engagement mediates the relationship between self-efficacy, perceived organizational support, and organizational citizenship behavior. Using a quantitative causal associative design, data were collected from 89 nurses and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and path analysis, with t-tests and Sobel tests to assess direct and indirect effects. Results show that self-efficacy and perceived organizational support significantly enhance employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior, while engagement mediates both relationships. The findings confirm the role of engagement as a psychological bridge connecting self-efficacy and organizational support to positive extra-role behavior. Health institutions should improve nurses’ self-efficacy through training, mentoring, and recognition programs while maintaining strong organizational support to foster engagement and encourage cooperative, high-quality service behavior.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has compelled Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital solutions in order to enhance competitiveness and ensure business sustainability. One of the most critical digital infrastructures supporting managerial effectiveness is the adoption of digital-based Management Information Systems (MIS), which enable integrated data processing and data-driven decision-making. This study aims to empirically examine the impact of digital-based MIS adoption on MSME performance in Indonesia. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, primary data were collected from MSME owners and managers operating across various business sectors. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess both the measurement and structural models. The results indicate that digital-based MIS adoption has a positive and statistically significant effect on all dimensions of MSME performance, including financial, operational, market, and innovation performance. Among these dimensions, operational performance exhibits the strongest relationship, highlighting the role of digital MIS in improving process efficiency and operational control. The findings confirm that digital-based MIS functions as a strategic organizational resource that enhances MSME competitiveness in the digital economy. This study contributes to the literature on digital transformation and MSME performance by providing empirical evidence from an emerging economy context and offers practical implications for MSME owners and policymakers in accelerating digital adoption. Abstract

Employee performance is crucial for hospital service quality, yet limited work facilities remain a barrier to satisfaction and productivity. This study aims to analyze the influence of workplace facilities on job satisfaction and employee performance in the administrative unit. The research used a combination of field research and library research methods. The population consisted of all 33 administrative staff members. Data analysis techniques included normality tests, qualitative descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that workplace facilities were rated as good. Employees reported a satisfactory level of job satisfaction, although aspects such as work challenges and reward systems need improvement. Employee performance was also rated as good, especially in terms of discipline and punctuality, while initiative was hindered by monotonous work routines. Quantitative analysis revealed a moderately strong correlation between workplace facilities and both job satisfaction and employee performance. Workplace facilities accounted for 56.3% of the variance in job satisfaction and 48.5% in employee performance. Regression analysis confirmed that workplace facilities have a statistically significant effect on both job satisfaction and performance. These findings highlight the critical role of workplace facilities in enhancing human resource quality within hospital administrative environments.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting economic growth and employment; however, maintaining business sustainability remains a major challenge, particularly in relation to financing and financial management. This study aims to examine the effects of bank credit, financial management, and access to capital on MSME sustainability. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed, and data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 120 MSME owners in Bogor City, West Java, selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The results indicate that bank credit, financial management, and access to capital all have positive and significant effects on MSME sustainability. Among these factors, financial management demonstrates the strongest influence, highlighting the critical role of internal financial capability in enhancing business sustainability. The coefficient of determination shows that the proposed model explains a substantial proportion of the variance in MSME sustainability. These findings suggest that access to external financing alone is insufficient to ensure long-term sustainability unless supported by effective financial management practices. This study contributes to the MSME sustainability literature by integrating external financing and internal financial capability within a single empirical model and provides practical insights for MSME owners, financial institutions, and policymakers in designing integrated strategies to strengthen sustainable MSME development.   Keywords: Bank Credit; Financial Management; Access to Capital; MSME Sustainability

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence has transformed the way organizations manage their workforce, particularly in the areas of recruitment, performance evaluation, and employee development. While many applications have focused on increasing operational efficiency, less attention has been given to how artificial intelligence can contribute to competence development and foster intrinsic motivation among employees. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the role of artificial intelligence in human resource management, with a specific focus on how it can be used to support personalized learning pathways and motivational strategies. The study applies a qualitative literature review method, synthesizing recent research and practical cases where artificial intelligence has been implemented in workforce management. Findings reveal that artificial intelligence is capable of creating adaptive learning environments, delivering real-time and personalized feedback, and aligning tasks with individual strengths and career aspirations. These functions not only improve the efficiency of employee training but also enhance engagement, satisfaction, and long-term growth. The conclusion highlights that artificial intelligence offers great potential to strengthen both competence development and intrinsic motivation when applied thoughtfully. However, successful implementation requires balancing technological innovation with human-centered approaches to ensure fairness, trust, and sustainable employee development.

Abstract

Paca, the bridewealth practice in the Manggarai community, has shifted from barter-based payments such as livestock, land, and jewelry to predominantly cash transactions. This transformation, known as Kaba Agu Jarang Satu Cikang, reflects wider socio-economic changes and raises questions about its cultural and symbolic implications within the marriage market. This study analyzes paca as a transactional mechanism, explores its transition to cash payments and the resulting shifts in symbolic meaning, and interprets paca as a form of social accounting amid modernization. Using transcendental phenomenology, data were collected through focus group discussions, interviews, and documentation to capture lived experiences from multiple perspectives. The findings show that paca increasingly resembles business transactions and corresponds with accounting concepts reflected in PSAK 55, PSAK 23, and PSAK 58, indicating a movement from sacred ritual toward a more commercialized process. Despite this shift, paca continues to function as social accounting by mediating relationships and maintaining cultural cohesion. This study contributes to understanding how customary practices adapt to economic change and offers practical insight for community stakeholders to balance modernization with the preservation of cultural and symbolic values.

Abstract

This research examines how servant leadership influences employee performance and organizational commitment within the Indonesian public sector, with work motivation as a mediating factor. Using a quantitative approach and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) on 157 employees, the study develops a framework for enhancing employee outcomes. The results indicate that servant leadership has a positive impact on both performance and commitment, through direct and indirect channels. Work motivation proved to be a critical mediator, explaining 38.95% of the total effect of servant leadership on performance and 24.68% of the effect on commitment. The main contribution of this study is its integrated model, which explores the synergy between servant leadership and motivation within the bureaucratic and collectivist setting of Indonesian public enterprises. These findings strengthen existing motivation theories, while practically, they underscore the necessity for public organizations to adopt an approach that cultivates servant leaders and strengthens motivation through supportive systems. In summary, servant leadership and work motivation function together to improve performance and commitment. Future studies are encouraged to extend this model to other industries and use mixed-methods research for deeper contextual understanding.

Abstract

Indonesia holds strong potential in the global modest fashion market; however, local brands still face challenges due to the dominance of imported products, stronger international brand reputations, and the rapid shift toward e-commerce. This study examines consumer perceptions and determinants of purchase decisions for local modest fashion products in Indonesia. Using SEM-PLS with data from 190 female respondents aged above 18 in the Jabodetabek area who purchased modest fashion in the past six months, results show that quality perception and attribution significantly affect purchase decisions, while price perception and social value do not. Brand image, although correlated with other variables, was not statistically significant in the final model. Findings reveal that consumers are predominantly young, digitally active, and prioritize authenticity, aesthetics, and self-expression. Practically, local brands should leverage emotional and symbolic values through digital storytelling, culturally grounded branding, and value-based differentiation to strengthen competitiveness. Strategically, focusing on digital marketing, social media engagement, and authentic brand narratives can enhance consumer loyalty and sustainability in Indonesia’s modest fashion industry.

Abstract

Education in the era of globalization and digitalization has become increasingly complex, requiring institutions to provide flexible learning and open access. Employee performance in such settings depends on internal factors, including colleagues’ knowledge, trust, and trust capability. This study aims to analyze the effects of colleagues’ knowledge base, the role of trust, and trust capability on employee performance. Using a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis and a sample of 235 employees, the results indicate that all variables, both directly and indirectly through mediation, positively and significantly influence performance. The findings show that the Role of Trust positively affects employee performance, colleagues’ knowledge base influences performance through trust, and trust capability enhances performance by strengthening trust. Practically, fostering work dedication, proper management of organizational information, conflict reduction, and adherence to instructions are essential to optimize employee performance. The study contributes empirical evidence that integrating colleagues’ knowledge and trust mechanisms can significantly enhance performance in university settings, providing actionable guidance for higher education management and organizational development.
