Abstract

An approach is needed to achieve the expected objective of learning a language. One of the relevant approaches for Maharah Kalam teaching (Arabic speaking) is the humanistic approach. The objective of this study is to know the application of humanistic theory from Carl Rogers to the Maharah kalam learning process at the University level, especially in the Mandailing Natal Islamic State University. The writer employed descriptive qualitative data collection techniques consisting of direct observation on implementing educative games and learning media during the Arabic speaking class, interview with students, and documentation. Moreover, the data analysis technique was based on Miles and Huberman’s model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of the study concluded that the humanistic approach to teaching-learning Arabic speaking by applying educative games and learning media had successfully made the teaching-learning process more fun. The educative games and learning media applied were as follows: throwing the ball question, guessing pictures, snake and ladder game, drawing paper, making something by using Origami paper, guessing a word by initial letter, introductory pen, and video applications.

Abstract

The covid 19 pandemic has had an impact on the education sector, especially in learning Arabic. To increase the effectiveness and efficiency of distance learning, Arabic teaching materials are needed that are easily accessible anywhere and anytime. Arabic teaching materials can be designed in an attractive and innovative way through the Flip PDF Professional application which will later produce Arabic teaching materials in the form of interactive E-books, which contain Arabic materials and are equipped with animations, pictures and audio so that they can attract interest in learning Arabic. Specifically, this article aims to describe the design of developing Arabic language teaching materials based on professional flip pdf applications and determine its validity and feasibility for Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember State Islamic University (UIN) students. This research uses the type of R&D with the ADDIE development model. The instruments used in this study were validation questionnaire for three experts (media, material and design), and initial interview guidelines. As for testing the data validation results using a Likert scale level of achievement. The results of the research are based on the results of expert trials, product development of Arabic teaching materials gets a score of 91.3% (very good/interesting category) from media experts, validation of material experts gets a score of 97.3% (very good/interesting category), validation design experts get a score of 94.6% with (very good/attractive category). The suggestions and input from the validator are used as guidelines in improving Arabic language teaching materials based on Android applications Abstrak Pandemi covid 19 berdampak pada bidang pendidikan khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran jarak jauh dibutuhkan bahan ajar bahasa Arab yang mudah diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun. Bahan ajar bahasa Arab dapat didesain secara menarik dan inovatif melalui aplikasi Flip PDF Professional yang nantinya akan menghasilkan bahan ajar bahasa Arab berupa E-book interaktif, yang berisi materi-materi bahasa Arab serta dilengkapi animasi, gambar, dan audio sehingga dapat menarik minat dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Secara spesifik, Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan bahan ajar bahasa Arab berbasis aplikasi flip pdf profesional dan mengetahui validitas dan kelayakannya bagi Mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis R&D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi untuk tiga ahli (media, materi dan desan) dan pedoman wawancara awal. Adapun pengujian data hasil validasi menggunakan skala likert tingkat pencapaian. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji coba ahli, pengembangan produk bahan ajar bahasa Arab mendapat skor sebesar 91,3% (kategori sangat baik/menarik) dari ahli media, validasi ahli materi mendapatkan skor 97,3% (kategori sangat baik/menarik), validasi ahli desain mendapatkan skor 94,6% dengan (kategori sangat baik/menarik). Adapun saran dan masukan dari validator dijadikan pedoman dalam perbaikan produk bahan ajar bahasa Arab berbasis aplikasi Android

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of politeness in the comic Nawadir Juha Li al ethical. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a type of literature study. The data collection method used in this study is the listening method with note-taking techniques by recording utterances containing positive and negative politeness based on Brown and Levinson's theory. This research was carried out in three stages, first providing data; Data Analysis Stages; and data presentation stage. The results showed that of the ten negative politeness strategies according to Brown and Levinson, there were 4 strategies found in the NJLA comics, namely (1) apologizing, (2) Not giving to do act, (3) Dissociating the requester from the impingement, (4) State clearly that the interlocutor is very valuable. Of the fifteen positive politeness strategies according to Brown and Levinson, there are 7 strategies found in NJLA comics, namely (1) attending to the address, (2) exaggerating, (3) avoiding disagreement, (4) being optimistic, (5) claiming that whatever H wants, (6) asking for reasons, (7) Satisfying some of H's wants Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kesantunan berbahasa dalam komik Nawadir Juha Li al athfal. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode simak dengan teknik catat dengan cara mencatat tuturan yang mengandung kesantunan positif dan negatif berdasarkan teori Brown dan Levinson. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, pertama penyediaan data; tahap analisis data; dan tahap penyajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sepuluh strategi kesantunan negatif menurut Brown dan Levinson terdapat 4 strategi yang terdapat pada komik NJLA, yaitu (1) apologizing, (2) Not giving to do act, (3) Dissociating the requester from the impingement, (4) State clearly that the interlocutor are very valuable. Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning, students occupy a very important role in relation to the position of students as subjects. While the teacher is positioned as an object that has a role that is no less important. Learning is very important in the world of education, especially Arabic lessons, because the learning process determines the success of the learning objectives themselves. The success or failure of the teaching and learning process can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained by students. If the learning outcomes achieved by students experience an increase, then the teaching and learning activities that have been carried out can be declared successful. Meanwhile, to produce a quality learning process requires the ability of a teacher to apply learning methods that are appropriate to the conditions and circumstances of students in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to find a comparison of students' Arabic learning outcomes using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) methods at MTs Ma'arif Jember. This study uses a qualitative method, with the type of research is a comparative study. While the research approach is in the form of field studies or field research. The results of this research indicate that (1) before using the NHT method, students were less enthusiastic about learning Arabic. This is different after the implementation of this method, that students tend to be more active and enthusiastic in participating in learning in the classroom, so that student learning outcomes in Arabic also increase. (2) Before using the TGT method, students were lazy and less interested in learning Arabic. However, after using the TGT method, students were more interested and their interest increased. Students also enjoy and really enjoy the process of learning Arabic in the classroom. Student learning outcomes also increased. Thus, it can be concluded that of the two methods, it turns out that the TGT method is more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to the NHT method with a comparison of the average scores, namely TGT = 70.3 and NHT = 61.3.

Abstract

The book of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim, in addition to containing character education messages, especially in the guidance of seeking knowledge, also presents the beauty of the Arabic language, which lies in its verses. The beauty of this language can be described by analysing jinas, one of the materials in the Balaghah science family. This study aims to reveal the presentation pattern of jinas contained in the verses of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim. The qualitative method of descriptive analysis is the research method used with the literature method as data collection. The interactive model of Miles and Huberman is used as a data analysis technique. The results of this study show that the book of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim has thirteen different chapters, and six contain poems presented in the jinas style. There are six types of jinas used in presenting poetry, namely lahiq jinas, naqis jinas, isytiqaq jinas, qolab kul jinas, mukharraf jinas and mudhari' jinas. Moreover, the most Jinas contained in the poem is Jinas isytiqaq, a similar lafazh from the exact word origin or the same root. This research has implications for a more comprehensive analysis of jinas on other book objects. Asbtrak Kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim selain memuat pesan pendidikan karakter terutama dalam panduan mencari ilmu, kitab ini juga menyajikan keindahan bahasa Arab yang terletak pada syair-syairnya. Keindahan bahasa ini bisa dideskripsikan dengan analisis jinas, salah satu materi dalam rumpun ilmu Balaghah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengungkap pola penyajian jinas yang terdapat dalam syair kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim. Metode kualitatif analisis deskriptif adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan metode kepustakaan sebagai pengumpulan data dan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman dipakai sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim mempunyai tiga belas bab yang berbeda, dan enam bab di antaranya memuat syair yang disajikan dengan gaya jinas. Terdapat enam jenis jinas yang dipakai dalam menyajikan syair, yaitu jinas lahiq, jinas naqis, jinas isytiqaq, jinas qolab kul, jinas mukharraf dan jinas mudhari’. Dan Jinas yang paling banyak yang terdapat dalam syair tersebut yaitu Jinas isytiqaq yang merupakan lafazh yang serupa dari asal kata yang sama atau dari akar yang sama. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada analisis jinas yang lebih komprehensif pada objek kitab yang lain.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi telah marak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di banyak lembaga pendidikan termasuk Madrasah diniyah. Lembaga ini memiliki kurikulum pembelajaran salah satunya Bahasa Arab yang memerlukan inovasi pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran mufrodat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Augmented Reality. Sumber konten diambil dari selebaran materi Bahasa Arab yang dipakai hanya pada lingkungan madrasah. Model yang dipakai untuk membangun aplikasi ini menggunakan model waterfall SDLC dengan aplikasi marker card untuk menampilkan objek 3d yang sudah didaftarkan sebelumnya. Pembuatan aplikasi ini baru dikembangkan dengan berbasis android yang dibuat menggunakan tools seperti Vuforia dan Unity 3D. Aplikasi ini dapat berjalan pada smartphone dengan spesifikasi minimal android versi OS 8.0 oreo API level 26, ukuran layar 6 inci, RAM 4096 MB, ruang kosong memori internal 500 MB dan kamera belakang 13 MP. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperluas media pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dan bisa bermanfaat untuk pengembangan dilingkungan madrasah, pesantren hingga masyarakat umum. Abstract Technology has become widespread as a learning medium in many educational institutions, including Madrasah Diniyah. This institution has a learning curriculum, one of which is Arabic, which requires innovation in developing fun learning media. This research aims to develop microdata learning media by utilizing Augmented Reality technology. The content source is from Arabic language material leaflets used only in the madrasa environment. The model used to build this application uses the waterfall SDLC model with a marker card application to display 3D objects that have been previously registered. This application was newly developed using Android and created using Vuforia and Unity 3D tools. This application can run on smartphones with minimum specifications of Android OS version 8.0 Oreo API level 26, 6-inch screen size, 4096 MB RAM, 500 MB free internal memory space and 13 MP rear camera. The results of this research can expand Arabic language learning media and can be helpful in the development of madrasas, Islamic boarding schools and the general public

Abstract

This research aims to find out the concrete form of the learning process of tool nadhom from the cognitive theory perspective at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu and explain the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative type. The sources of information used are the results of observations during the learning process of nadhom alat, the results of interviews with the head of the Arabic language education study programme, lecturers who teach nadhom alat courses, and PBA students at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis theory, which includes data collection, presentation, reduction, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate two critical findings, namely the concrete form of the tool nadhom learning process with a cognitive theory perspective includes the following steps: planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. In its implementation, several methods are used in learning nadhom alat, such as the nahwu wa tarjamah method, deductive method, and question and answer method. Furthermore, the supporting factors of learning include the presentation of learning being very simple and giving examples of sentences in the context of everyday life, the rules and targets of memorization being straightforward. Students can follow them, the number of students who are not too many making focused and conducive in the learning process, and inhibitors include the lack of structured practice patterns from students, a small portion of students not meeting the target of memorization deposit, low student understanding of the rules so that it implies repetition. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk konkret dari proses pembelajaran nadhom alat dari perspektif teori kognitif di UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu serta menjelaskan faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif deskriptif studi kasus. Sumber informasi yang digunakan adalah hasil observasi selama proses pembelajaran nadhom alat, hasil wawancara dengan kepala program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab, dosen yang mengajar mata kuliah nadhom alat, dan mahasiswa PBA di UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teori analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi pengumpulan data, presentasi, reduksi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua temuan penting, yaitu bentuk konkret dari proses pembelajaran nadhom alat dengan perspektif teori kognitif mencakup langkah-langkah berikut: perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Dalam implementasinya terdapat beberapa metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran nadhom alat seperti metode nahwu wa tarjamah, metode deduktif, dan metode tanya jawab. Selanjutnya, faktor pendukung pembelajaran meliputi penyajian pembelajaran sangat sederhana dan pemberian contoh kalimat sesuai dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-sehari, aturan dan dan target hafalan jelas dan bisa diikuti mahasiswa, jumlah mahasiswa yang tidak terlampau banyak membuat fokus dan kondusif dalam proses pembelajara, dan penghambat meliputi kurangnya pola latihan terstruktur dari mahasiswa, sebagian kecil mahasiswa tidak memenuhi target setoran hafalan, rendahnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap kaidah sehingga berimplikasi pada pengulangan

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving educational landscape, recent technological advances have ushered in a new era of possibilities for innovative learning methodologies. This research integrates Brain-Based Learning principles with Augmented Reality (AR) technology as Arabic language teaching media. This research includes qualitative research with the type of literature. Data sources come from literature related to Augmented Reality and Brain-Based Learning. The data analysis method uses the content analysis method. The results of the study show: 1) optimisation of brain performance through the integration of Augmented Reality encourages the creation of innovative and fun learning experiences. 2) student engagement is significantly increased through active involvement of multiple senses and results in measurable improvement in learning outcomes. There are several challenges that need to be considered, namely: accessibility-related issues related to application design, the complexity of using AR systems, AR application development needs to go through iterative development cycles to accommodate diverse platform users, and the lack of pedagogical approaches when integrating AR applications into learning activities. The findings contribute to the discourse on technology integration in language education and offer practical insights for educators and policymakers who want to improve the overall effectiveness of Arabic language learning through innovative and brain-centred approaches. Abstrak Dalam lanskap pendidikan yang berkembang pesat, kemajuan teknologi baru-baru ini telah mengantarkan era baru kemungkinan metodologi pembelajaran inovatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada integrasi prinsip Pembelajaran Berbasis Otak dengan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pengajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis kepustakaan. Sumber data bersumber dari literature terkait Augmented Reality dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Otak. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) optimalisasi kinerja otak melalui integrasi Augmented Reality mendorong terciptanya pengalaman belajar yang inovatif dan menyenangkan. 2) keterlibatan siswa meningkat secara signifikan melalui keterlibatan aktif berbagai indera dan menghasilkan peningkatan yang terukur dalam hasil belajar. Ada beberapa tantangan yang perlu diperhatikan, yaitu: permasalahan terkait aksesibilitas berkaitan dengan perancangan aplikasi, kompleksitas penggunaan sistem AR, pengembangan aplikasi AR perlu melalui siklus pengembangan yang berulang untuk mengakomodasi pengguna platform yang beragam, dan kurangnya pendekatan pedagogi saat mengintegrasikan aplikasi AR ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Temuan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada wacana tentang integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan bahasa tetapi juga menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi para pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan yang ingin meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab secara keseluruhan melalui pendekatan inovatif dan berpusat pada otak.

Abstract

The concept of tasybîh in bayan science needs to be studied more deeply regarding theory and application in understanding Quranic verses. This study aims to describe the concept of tasybîh in the Quran according to the views of exegetes as material for the development of bayan science teaching materials. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method. The primary data sources in this study are books that discuss Quranic balaghah, namely al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Quran, Shafwat al-Tafasir, Tafsir al-Munir, and al-I'jaz al-Balaghi. The secondary sources consist of articles, books, and books related to the research topic. The data analysis technique is carried out with a content analysis model through the stages of (1) analysing and compiling data on tasybîh verses in the Quran according to the views of exegetes and (2) describing their implications for the development of bayan teaching materials. The results of this study indicate that there are several tasybîh verses in the Quran according to the views of exegetes in the four books above with various kinds of tasybîh in the perspective of bayan science, such as tasybîh mursal mujmal, tasybîh mursal mufashshal, tasybîh baligh, tasybîh tamtsili, tasybîh maqlub, and tasybîh dhimni. The results of this research data have significant contributions and implications for efforts to develop teaching materials based on Quranic studies. Abstrak Konsep tasybîh dalam ilmu bayan perlu dikaji lebih mendalam dari segi teori dan aplikasinya dalam memahami ayat-ayat Al-Quran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep tasybîh dalam Al-Quran menurut pandangan ahli tafsir sebagai bahan pengembangan materi ajar ilmu bayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah kitab-kitab yang membahas balaghah Al-Quran, yaitu: al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Quran, Shafwat al-Tafasir, Tafsir al-Munir, dan al-I’jaz al-Balaghi. Sumber sekundernya terdiri dari artikel, buku, dan kitab yang terkait dengan topik penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model analisis isi melalui tahapan (1) menganalisis dan menghimpun data ayat-ayat tasybîh dalam Al-Quran menurut pandangan ahli tafsir dan (2) mendeskripsikan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan materi ajar ilmu bayan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa ayat-ayat tasybîh dalam Al-Quran menurut pandangan ahli tafsir dalam empat kitab di atas dengan berbagai macam tasybîh dalam perspektif ilmu bayan, seperti tasybîh mursal mujmal, tasybîh mursal mufashshal, tasybîh baligh, tasybîh tamtsili, tasybîh maqlub, dan tasybîh dhimni. Hasil data penelitian ini memiliki kontribusi yang siginifikan dan berimplikasi terhadap upaya pengembangan materi ajar ilmu bayan berbasis kajian Al-Quran

Abstract

Language skills will be more optimal if supported by a supportive language environment and habituation. However, the high intensity of language use will be prone to causing language errors, which needs to be identified and a solution found so that it does not happen again. This research aims to determine and analyze the forms of students' language errors at MTs Unggulan Al-Qodiri 1 Jember and the factors behind them. The approach used is a qualitative method with a field study type. The data collection method uses observation, interviews and documentation, as well as the data analysis method using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research results show that students' language errors in maharah kalam often occur in the pronounciation of fiil madli, mudhori’ dan amrand the pronunciation of muannats and mudzakkar sentences. Meanwhile, the factors that cause language errors are mother tongue, environment, interlingual interference and intralingual interference. Abstrak Kemampuan berbahasa akan lebih optimal bila didukung adanya lingkungan berbahasa dan pembiasaan yang mendukung. Namun, tingginya intensitas penggunaan bahasa akan rentan menimbulkan kesalahan berbahasa, sesuatu yang perlu diidentifikasi dan dicarikan solusi agar tidak terjadi lagi ke depannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bentuk kesalahan berbahasa siswa di MTs Unggulan Al-Qodiri 1 Jember serta faktor-faktor yang melatar belakanginya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta metode analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa siswa dalam maharah kalam banyak terjadi dalam pengucapan fiil madli, mudhori’ dan amr dan pengucapan kalimat muannats dan mudzakkar. Sedangkan faktor penyebab kesalahan berbahasa yaitu bahasa ibu, lingkungan, interferensi interlingual dan interferensi intralingual.
