Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama dan kondisi sasaran yang alami. Wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Kepala sekolah, guru, siswa-siswi, dan orang tua adalah sumber data penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMP Katolik St. Yoseph Werdhi Agung telah menerapkan kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam berbagai cara. Ini termasuk lebih banyak kerja sama antara kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, dan pemangku kepentingan sekolah dalam pengambilan keputusan, pengembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, dan rencana dan diskusi bersama dengan siswa. Semua ini didukung oleh sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, serta kesadaran dan komitmen siswa terhadap sekolah. Namun, ada juga kendala. Diantaranya kurangnya pelatihan, sumber daya yang tidak memadai, dan sarana prasarana yang tidak memadai. Sekolah telah melihat hasil positif dari penerapan kepemimpinan kolaboratif ini. Siswa lebih termotivasi, dan kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua lebih menyadari betapa pentingnya bekerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan bersama.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL POLICY IN INDONESIAAbstract.  The aim of this study is to analyze the quality of national education, which still poses various challenges, including inequality of access and poor quality of education. various factors affecting success or disability in implementing the guidelines and their impact on society and the education system. The results show that there are many initiatives, including compulsory education programs and training to improve teachers' skills. The gap between preparing guidelines and putting them into practice has proven to be a major obstacle. Therefore, more participatory strategies are needed as communities are also involved in the education policy planning process. Therefore, the implemented guidelines can actually respond to local circumstances and promote the overall improvement of education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between concept mastery and scientific attitudes on students' spiritual intelligence in the context of Islamic Religious Education. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Mujawwidin in Tebo Regency, Jambi Province. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used. The sample consisted of 70 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument employed questionnaires, and data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results showed a significant correlation between concept mastery and spiritual intelligence at 1%. However, no significant correlation was found between scientific attitude and spiritual intelligence (significance value 0.136 0.05). Simultaneously, concept mastery and scientific attitude showed a significant correlation with students' spiritual intelligence at 18%, with the value of Fcount Ftable (4.18 4.10). These findings highlight the importance of integrating conceptual mastery and scientific attitudes in efforts to strengthen students' spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

EFFORTS TO INCREASE UNDERSTANDING OF ASMAUL HUSNA MATERIAL FOR MORAL FAITH LESSONS THROUGH THE USE OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL IN CLASS X STUDENTS OF MA YASNIThis study aims to determine the increase in understanding of the Asmaul Husna material in the subject of aqidah and akhlak through the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model in class X students of MA Yasni. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study were class X students of MA Yasni. Data were collected through tests and observations then analyzed using descriptive statistics. Indicators of success are determined based on the increase in learning completeness. This study found that the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in learning Asmaul Husna increased the effectiveness of learning. The implementation of learning increased from 80% (Cycle I) to 96% (Cycle II), student activity increased from 84.55 to 93.03, and learning outcomes increased from an average value of 74.78 (60.87% completeness) to 84.13 (91.30% completeness). This increase was influenced by improvements in strategies, such as group discussions, ice breaking, and learning media. A comparison of the two cycles shows that the PBL method is effective in increasing student involvement and understanding. The researchers concluded that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method was proven to increase the effectiveness of Asmaul Husna learning, with increased student involvement, learning processes, and learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II.

Abstract

Kinerja guru merupakan aspek penting yang memengaruhi karakter siswa, dinilai tidak hanya dari kompetensi pedagogis tetapi juga dari kemampuan guru dalam membimbing siswa dengan sikap dan perilaku positif di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengevaluasi kinerja guru di SMP Katolik Kota Tomohon, 2) menilai karakter siswa di SMP Katolik Kota Tomohon, dan 3) menentukan seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap karakter siswa. Responden adalah siswa aktif dari SMP Katolik Kota Tomohon. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan rumus Slovin dan margin error 5% untuk pengambilan sampel. Sebanyak 317 responden disurvei dari populasi 1.529 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui Google Forms, dengan pilihan jawaban Sangat Setuju, Setuju, Tidak Setuju, dan Sangat Tidak Setuju. Analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru sangat baik (H1 diterima, nilai = 1.154) dan karakter siswa juga sangat baik (H1 diterima, nilai = 1.189). Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kinerja guru terhadap karakter siswa, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 0.005, nilai R hitung sebesar 0.551, dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 30.4%. Dengan demikian, kinerja guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter siswa, di mana semakin baik kinerja guru, semakin positif karakter siswa.

Abstract

MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN SUPPORTING OPTIMAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONManagement of facilities and infrastructure is one of the key elements to support the success of learning in Early Childhood Education (PAUD). Adequate facilities can create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning atmosphere and provide the right stimulation for child development. This study applies a qualitative method with a literature study approach, aiming to describe how important it is to manage facilities and infrastructure effectively and efficiently. The findings of this study indicate that good management starting from planning, procurement, use, to maintenance contributes significantly to the quality of education and the success of early childhood learning.

Abstract

The global demand for English language proficiency continues to grow significantly, particularly in the contexts of international communication, education, and the workforce. However, in Indonesia, many students still face difficulties in mastering English pronunciation due to limited interaction with native speakers and insufficient access to interactive learning tools. Speech Recognition Technology (SRT) has emerged as an innovative solution, offering real-time feedback and facilitating more adaptive, autonomous learning. One SRT tool gaining attention is the Cambridge Learning Dictionary (CLD). This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of using CLD in English language learning at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved ten female students aged 21–22 from the English Education Study Program. Data were collected through classroom observation, semi-structured interviews, and open-ended questionnaires. The findings indicate that most participants perceived the use of CLD positively, particularly in enhancing pronunciation accuracy, boosting speaking confidence, and fostering learner autonomy. Furthermore, three main themes emerged: (1) improved language competence through native-speaker pronunciation models in both British and American accents; (2) increased independent learning through self-directed use of CLD; and (3) technical challenges, including connectivity issues, the absence of real-time feedback, and the limited inclusion of Islamic vocabulary. Overall, CLD is considered to hold strong potential in supporting English learning in Islamic higher education settings, especially in terms of pronunciation and communicative skill development. To maximize its effectiveness, infrastructural support, formal training, and contextual content integration tailored to the cultural identity of Islamic educational institutions are recommended.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF SINGING METHOD ON CHILDREN'S MEMORY OF PLANT OR ANIMAL MATERIAL This study aims to analyze the influence of singing as a method to improve memory retention among early childhood learners in learning about plants and animals at PAUD Mutia Bunda. The main issue addressed is the low memory performance in children due to traditional, less engaging teaching methods. The research was conducted using classroom action research across two cycles with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through observation, oral tests, and questionnaires given to teachers and parents. The results show that singing, combined with gestures and visual aids, significantly enhanced memory retention, with average scores rising from 72.3 in the first cycle to 81.6 in the second. The percentage of children achieving the minimum score of 75 also increased from 60% to 86.7%. It can be concluded that singing is an effective strategy to strengthen memory in early learners for thematic content. The implications of this finding include the reinforcement of multimodal learning theory, practical adoption of music-based teaching in resource-limited preschools, and further development of arts- and culture-integrated curricula.

Abstract

Bagaimana Kasus pertanyaan sikap siswa terhadap aktivitas belajar mengajar dan bagaimana kompetensi kepribadian guru yang berdampak pada perilaku siswa merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Lokasi di SMA Katolik Santo Ignatius Manado pada bulan April dan Mei tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dari sejumlah 97 siswa, 78 siswa menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil perolehan Fhitung sebesar 21,059 menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 0,005. Terdapat nilai korelasi 0,466 dan koefisien determinasi 0,217. Sebagai penutup dapat diperoleh kesimpulan, ketika seorang guru mengajarkan pelajaran di kelas, kepribadiannya sangat otoriter, pada umumnya, guru yang kepribadiannya demikian, akan sangat mempengaruhi keputusan siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif selama proses pembelajaran di SMA Katolik Santo Ignatius Manado.

Abstract

Perencanaan strategis dalam pengelolaan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan suatu rangkaian proses yang dirancang secara sistematis untuk menentukan arah lembaga kebijakan melalui penyusunan visi, misi, tujuan, serta langkah-langkah konkret guna mendorong peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara optimal dan efisien. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengertian, ciri-ciri utama, tahapan pelaksanaan, dan dampak dari penerapan strategi perencanaan dalam konteks pengembangan kualitas PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dari berbagai referensi ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa strategi perencanaan yang dijalankan secara tepat memiliki sifat kolaboratif, fleksibel, menyeluruh, dan fokus pada penguatan sumber daya manusia. Strategi proses ini meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, analisis kondisi internal dan eksternal, penetapan visi dan misi, penyusunan program kerja, serta penyusunan dokumen perencanaan. Dampak dari implementasi strategi ini tercermin dalam peningkatan kualitas lembaga, seperti efisiensi manajerial, peningkatan kapasitas tenaga pendidik, sinergi dengan pemangku kepentingan, serta peningkatan daya saing. Berdasarkan studi kasus di beberapa PAUD, pendekatan strategi yang konsisten dan berbasis analisis seperti SWOT dan PESTEL terbukti dapat memperkuat keinginan dan menyesuaikan arah pendidikan dengan dinamika zaman. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan strategis bukan hanya sebatas dokumen administratif, melainkan merupakan pilar utama dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan PAUD yang bermutu dan berdaya saing.
