Abstract

Ecological crises in Indonesia, such as rapid deforestation, the spread of mining, loss of biodiversity, climate, and frequent disasters, overlap with each other and require more frequent theological and technical solutions (Margono et al., 2014; Sodhi et al., 2004; Steffen et al., 2015). As the largest archipelagic state in the world, with Christian communities of different denominations widely distributed throughout the country, Indonesian Christian scholarship has begun to develop particular models of ecological theology. However, this new area is still divided, and there is not much systematic systematization of its thematic, methodological, and contextual developments (Golo and Yusuf 2018). In this article, a systematic literature review on the topic is conducted using PRISMA to examine Indonesian Christian ecotheology to from 20002025. Nine databases of academic sources ( Scopus, Web of Science, Atla Religion Database, ProQuest Religion and Philosophy, EBSCOhost, DOAJ, GARUDA, Neliti, and major repositories of theological collections) revealed 1,847 records, and 68 studies were selected after screening and eligibility tools. Quality appraisal was an integration of the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) (used to assess empirical works) (Hong et al., 2018) and a modified theological assessment framework (Vanhoozer, 2005; Schreiter, 1985). Data synthesis was performed based on descriptive statistics, mapping of key word co-occurrence, and thematic analysis (Sandelowski et al., 2006; Thomas and Harden, 2008). The results indicate rapid growth since 2016, denominational diversity, and five master themes: doctrinal foundations, indigenous cosmologies and land/sea relations, ecclesial practices and eco-spirituality, public and justice-oriented ecotheology, and methodological developments. Indonesian ecotheology also contributes to the global discourse through its adat, archipelagic and disaster experiences, and postcolonial critique, although there are still gaps in Papua-Maluku ecotheology, Pentecostal ecotheology, marine theology and urban theology, and outcome-oriented research.

Abstract

This study examines the quality of English assessment rubrics used in senior high schools through an in-depth qualitative content analysis focusing on three key dimensions: reliability, transparency, and alignment with learning outcomes. A total of 12 rubrics were collected from public and private schools and analyzed alongside semi-structured interviews with English teachers. The findings reveal substantial inconsistencies in rubric construction, with only a minority of rubrics demonstrating clearly differentiated performance descriptors. Most rubrics employ vague evaluative terms and lack operational indicators, reducing their usefulness in guiding both assessment and student learning. Alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum was also limited, as several rubrics did not fully represent mandated competencies such as logical reasoning, content organization, and coherence. Interview data further highlight systemic challenges, including limited teacher training, time constraints, and reliance on generic online rubrics. These issues collectively undermine rubric reliability and transparency, resulting in subjective scoring and misaligned evaluations. The study underscores the need for standardized rubric development guidelines, targeted professional development, and stronger institutional support to ensure high-quality assessment practices. The findings contribute to enhancing the integrity of English assessment and provide practical insights for teachers, schools, and policymakers committed to implementing curriculum-aligned, competency-based evaluation systems.

Abstract

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of street vendors selling along Jalan Benteng Pancasila, Mojokerto City, has increased significantly. This condition has prompted the need for enforcement by local government officials. This study aims to assess the performance of Pamong Praja Police Unit (Satpol PP) officers in regulating the presence of street vendors at this location. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with seven informants. It uses T.R Mitchell's (1978) theory of employee performance assessment, which includes quality of work, promptness, initiative, capability, and communication. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that the performance quality, competence, and communication of Satpol PP employees in carrying out street vendor control tasks on Jalan Benteng Pancasila in Mojokerto City are at a good level. However, the indicators of timeliness and initiative are still at a fairly optimal level.

Abstract

This study aims to map and identify the socio-economic vulnerability of vulnerable groups in urban areas, especially in the city of Medan. With a descriptive qualitative approach, the study focuses on the collection of primary data through surveys, in-depth interviews, and FGDs. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of social inequality that is increasingly real in the midst of rapid urbanization and the limitations of accurate micro data as the basis for the formulation of social intervention policies. The research also highlights the need for a participatory and community-based approach to development in response to the failure of elitist and top-down development models. This research is based on the need to build a data foundation that can be used by policymakers, development practitioners, and local communities in designing more effective and equitable social interventions. The city of Medan was chosen as the location because of the complexity of its social problems that represent major cities in Indonesia, including high urbanization, inequality between regions, and weak access for marginalized groups to development programs. This study will be the starting point of a ten-year long-term research series aimed at designing evidence-based and contextual models of social intervention, this research is based on the theoretical frameworks of social vulnerability, community participation and empowerment, and social intervention theory.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher involvement and parent participation on student learning anxiety with academic motivation as an intervening variable in economics subjects at senior high schools in Pinrang Regency. This study is quantitative in nature, with data collected through questionnaires administered to students from three schools with A, B, and C accreditation levels. The data were analyzed using the SmartPLS software. The results show that teacher involvement and parental participation have a positive and significant effect on students' academic motivation and a negative effect on learning anxiety. In addition, academic motivation is proven to be a variable that mediates the relationship between teacher involvement and parental participation on learning anxiety. This means that the higher the teacher involvement and parental support, the higher the students' academic motivation and the lower their level of learning anxiety. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and schools in creating a positive learning environment to support students' emotional well-being and academic achievement.

Abstract

Infrastructure development has become a national priority aimed at strengthening the foundation of Indonesia’s economic growth. At the local level, particularly in Kelurahan Sempakata, Medan Selayang District, the 2023 road and drainage improvement projects were expected to enhance regional connectivity and stimulate economic activities among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, such physical transformations also generate various social and economic challenges that require in-depth analysis. This study aims to analyze the social and economic impacts of road and drainage infrastructure development on MSME actors in Kelurahan Sempakata, as well as to identify the adaptation strategies they adopted in response to the new infrastructure. The analysis employs Jean-Paul Rodrigue’s Accessibility Theory and Hanson and Pratt’s Social Access Theory, emphasizing that accessibility encompasses not only physical connectivity but also social capability—the ability of economic actors to utilize emerging opportunities. The research applies a qualitative descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and literature review as data collection techniques. Informants include MSME owners from various sectors—trade, services, culinary, and workshops—as well as community leaders who represent the local socio-economic context. The findings reveal that infrastructure development has generated positive impacts, such as improved accessibility, enhanced distribution efficiency, and the emergence of new business opportunities. Nonetheless, during the construction phase, some MSMEs experienced income decline and operational disruptions due to limited customer access. After project completion, most MSME actors managed to adapt through service innovation, business restructuring, and product quality enhancement. The role of the local government in providing assistance and information dissemination proved essential in facilitating MSME adaptation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Online Customer Rating (OCRt), Online Customer Reviews (OCR), and product photos on consumer purchasing interest in Camille Beauty products on TikTok Shop by referring to the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) theoretical framework. The research approach uses a survey-based quantitative method, with a sample of 128 respondents from Generation Z who are TikTok Shop Live Streaming users and have experience viewing or purchasing Camille Beauty products. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach through SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that OCRt, OCR, and product photos contribute significantly in shaping customer purchasing interest. In addition, product photos are proven to be able to mediate the relationship between OCRt and purchasing interest, as well as between OCR and customer purchasing interest on TikTok Shop, thereby strengthening the relationship between customer experience-based information and purchasing decisions. This study adds to the literature on digital consumer behavior, particularly in the context of live streaming-based social commerce, by confirming that visual elements, such as product photos, play a significant mediating role in linking OCRt and OCR to purchase intention. The results provide recommendations for businesses and the skincare brand Camille Beauty to optimize their digital marketing strategies on TikTok Shop Live Streaming.

Abstract

Marine ecotourism has the potential to enhance local community well-being, but crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic have tested the sustainability of these benefits, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study analyses the relationship between the development of marine ecotourism in the Likupang Special Economic Zone and the socio-economic well-being of local communities, with MSME resilience as a mediating variable. Cross-sectional survey data (n = 240) were analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that marine ecotourism in Likupang contributes positively to local community well-being. The tourism–marine economic and socio-cultural marine economic dimensions have a significant direct effect on well-being, whereas the environmental marine economic dimension does not directly improve well-being without operating through enhanced MSME resilience. All dimensions of marine ecotourism significantly strengthen the resilience of local MSMEs, which in turn drives improvements in community well-being. In other words, MSME resilience partially mediates the relationship between marine ecotourism and community well-being for economic and socio-cultural effects, and fully mediates this relationship for environmental effects. These findings confirm that the resilience of local MSMEs is a key factor that bridges the economic and environmental potential of ecotourism and its translation into tangible well-being for communities. In practical terms, sustainable tourism development strategies need to be accompanied by empowerment programmes and resilience-strengthening initiatives for MSMEs so that the benefits of marine ecotourism can be optimally experienced by local communities.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Susukan 04, East Ungaran District, using a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and validated through methodological and source triangulation. The findings show that planning was conducted through goal formulation, needs identification, and the development of adaptive programs integrated into the RKS/RKAS. Implementation involved curriculum modification, service accommodation, and the deployment of special education teachers to support 29 students with special needs across 13 classes. Evaluation was carried out systematically to measure goal attainment and identify barriers. The school demonstrated progress in fostering social acceptance, self-confidence, and empathy among students, consistent with the principles of inclusion and Social Role Valorization (SRV). However, challenges persist in teacher competency, parental involvement, and the adequacy of adaptive learning media. Strengthening professional development and building a comprehensive support system are essential for advancing transformative inclusion.
