Abstract

This study examines the influence of principal academic supervision, school culture, and teacher work motivation on learning quality in public elementary schools in Sedan District, Rembang Regency. Using a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 132 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Multiple correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression analyses were employed. The findings reveal that the three independent variables collectively have a very strong and significant effect on learning quality (R = 0.895; R² = 0.800; p < 0.001). Principal academic supervision contributes the most substantially (69.8%), followed by teacher work motivation (68.1%) and school culture (53.1%). These results indicate that learning quality can be significantly improved through an integrated synergy that strengthens instructional supervision, fosters a collaborative school culture, and enhances teachers’ intrinsic motivation. The study highlights the importance of comprehensive managerial interventions in optimizing learning quality and offers empirical evidence for the multidimensional model of supervision–culture–motivation in primary education.

Abstract

This study examines the principal’s strategic planning in cultivating a Positive Culture to enhance the overall effectiveness of SDN Kalirejo 02. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving principals, teachers, students, parents, and staff. The findings show that strategic planning is implemented through three interconnected phases: Strategy Formulation, Strategy Implementation, and Strategy Evaluation. Strategy Formulation emphasizes context diagnosis, identification of core cultural values, and the development of SMART goals focusing on discipline improvement, teacher attendance, and student learning motivation. Strategy Implementation includes teacher capacity development, restructuring the learning environment, and strengthening positive routines. The principal plays a central role as a role model and motivator in mobilizing stakeholders. Evaluation is conducted adaptively using quick-win monitoring, periodic climate surveys, and PDCA-based feedback loops. The study concludes that the strategic planning implemented at SDN Kalirejo 02 effectively integrates Positive Culture principles, leading to measurable behavioral improvements and enhanced academic and non-academic performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This research responds to the growing movement among certain Islamic mass organizations (Ormas) in Indonesia that continue to challenge the legitimacy of Pancasila as the state ideology by using the framework of civilization jurisprudence (fikih peradaban). These groups argue that Pancasila does not sufficiently accommodate Islamic law (syariah), which they claim should be prioritized as the legal foundation for a Muslim-majority nation. To critically examine these claims, this study employs content analysis to uncover the logical fallacies embedded within the ideological narratives produced by these Ormas. Primary data consist of written and digital narratives from organizations such as Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Jama'ah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), and Jama'ah Islamiyah—groups known to have transnational ideological affiliations, including links to ISIS. These narratives are sourced from official websites, organizational documents (such as constitutions and bylaws), and social media postings. Secondary data include reports from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as authoritative Islamic scholarly sources such as classical fiqh, usul fiqh, tafsir ahkam, academic journals, and credible news articles. The analysis reveals that the discourse promoted by these transnational Islamic groups frames Pancasila and the Quran as mutually exclusive, leading to an erroneous ideological dichotomy. Their reasoning is shown to be fallacious due to inappropriate comparisons, overgeneralizations, and the failure to understand the distinct epistemic categories between divine revelation and a contextual national ideology. The study concludes that fikih peradaban offers a constructive paradigm for harmonizing religious and national commitments, affirming that Indonesian law is inherently dynamic, contextual, and capable of integrating universal Islamic values without undermining Pancasila.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategies employed by women farmers in achieving family food security in Bandung Jaya Village, Kabawetan District, Kepahiang Regency. Using a qualitative case study design, eight purposively selected informants including members of the “Kaba Indah Lestari” Women Farmers Group (KWT) and village authorities were interviewed through in-depth interviews supported by non-participant observations and document analysis. The findings reveal four integrated strategies: (1) food production through optimal and sustainable use of family fields, group plots, and home gardens; (2) food access strategies involving produce exchange, selective selling to middlemen, and livelihood diversification; (3) food management and consumption strategies that ensure balanced household nutrition through storage, processing, and adaptive menu planning; and (4) empowerment through KWT as a platform for capacity building, knowledge exchange, and social solidarity. Using Moser’s Gender and Development (GAD) framework, the study shows that women farmers perform productive, reproductive, and community management roles that are essential for strengthening household resilience and sustaining local food systems. The study concludes that women’s empowerment plays a critical role in building a gender-equitable and sustainable food security system in rural communities.

Abstract

Understanding Pancasila values among the younger generation is crucial. The numerous cases of violence and bullying among the younger generation indicate that their character is not yet fully aligned with Pancasila values, necessitating an effective and creative development model. This study aims to develop a character development model for the younger generation through a Pancasila content creator project to enhance understanding of Pancasila values. This study uses a mixed-methods approach, namely qualitative and quantitative, with stages of analysis, exploration, and development of a character development model focused on Pancasila values. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies, with subjects including training participants, training committee members, instructors, and officials at the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency. The research results show that: 1) Good training planning is key to success in improving understanding of Pancasila values. The process involves needs analysis and model design that focuses on project-based learning methods. Good planning can produce a model that is relevant, applicable, and able to encourage the interest of training participants and make it more interactive. 2) The implementation of the character development model for the younger generation through the Pancasila content creator project can be effectively applied to improve understanding and practice of Pancasila values among the younger generation. Therefore, character development through the Pancasila content creator project model is highly effective as a character development tool for the younger generation.

Abstract

Violence against children is a complex social problem that has long-term consequences for their physical, psychological, and social development. In Bengkulu City, data from the UPTD PPA DP3AP2KB recorded 97 cases of violence against children during the 2021–2024 period, with molestation and sexual intercourse being the most prevalent forms. This study aims to identify the factors that cause sexual violence against children and to understand the social dynamics underlying these cases. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of child victims, their families, and staff of the UPTD PPA DP3AP2KB Bengkulu City, with a total of five child victims as the main informants. The findings show that sexual violence against children is driven by multiple interrelated factors, including low economic conditions, dysfunctional family roles, low parental education and awareness, the nature of parental employment, as well as exposure to media and peer influences. These factors interact to create conditions that increase children’s vulnerability to violence, particularly within the domestic environment that should function as a place of protection. From a family sociology and structural functionalism perspective, sexual violence against children reflects weakened family functions and insufficient social control in the wider community. The study highlights the need for comprehensive efforts through improved parenting literacy, strengthened child protection systems, and stronger synergy between government institutions, communities, and families to more effectively prevent and address sexual violence against children.  It also bridges theory and practice by linking family level vulnerabilities with institutional responses of DP3AP2KB, offering a reference for future research and child protection policy development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between interpersonal intelligence and student learning styles (VARK model). The study was conducted at YPK Hedam Junior High School, Jayapura City, with 39 respondents. The research method used was a quantitative-correlational method with data collection using questionnaires on interpersonal intelligence and learning styles. In general, student preferences were more dominant in visual learning styles (71.79%) compared to auditory (17.95%) and kinesthetic (10.26%). A statistical technique called the Chi-Square test (X2 test) was used to determine the link between the learning style and interpersonal intelligence variables. A non-parametric statistical test called the Chi-Square test is used to assess if two categorical variables in a contingency table have a significant link or association. At df = 6 (12,592), the computed Chi-Square value is less than the Chi-Square table value. Furthermore, the p-value is significantly higher than 0.05. Thus, learning styles and interpersonal intelligence do not significantly correlate. This indicates that the degree of interpersonal intelligence in this data has no discernible impact on differences in student learning styles. Furthermore, to determine whether the results of this study can be generalized, future research may consider increasing the sample size

Abstract

This study aimed to examine whether interactive multimedia based on Augmented Reality (AR) can improve students’ learning outcomes in the Natural Disaster Mitigation topic at MA Ahmad Yani Jabung. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 16 Grade XI students selected through purposive sampling. A 12-item multiple-choice test was used to measure learning outcomes and was validated through expert judgment, Pearson’s correlation, and reliability testing, yielding Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients of 0.874 (pretest) and 0.904 (posttest). Data were analyzed using a paired t-test and N-Gain score. The results revealed a notable improvement, with average scores increasing from 55.21 (pretest) to 82.81 (posttest), categorized as moderate to high improvement based on the N-Gain value. The paired t-test indicated a statistically significant difference in students’ scores before and after the intervention (p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that AR-based interactive multimedia is effective in enhancing geography learning outcomes by providing engaging, interactive, and contextually meaningful learning experiences.
