Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. The bulletin encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in Islamic guidance and counseling including: managing of guidance and counseling. Assessment in counseling, Islamic counseling, Islamic theraphy, career development, personal and social development and academic development. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Abstract

The Premarital Course Program (Suscatin) is a strategic government initiative aimed at preparing young couples for a mature and responsible marriage life. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Suscatin program after the Covid-19 pandemic at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. A descriptive qualitative method was applied, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that contextually the program aligns with community needs and government regulations. However, in its implementation, the program faces several challenges, including insufficient duration (only 4 hours, below the national standard), limited use of interactive teaching methods, and the absence of formal evaluation and follow-up mechanisms. The program also lacks deep integration of Islamic spiritual values. Nevertheless, Suscatin has improved participants’ basic knowledge of marital rights and responsibilities, reproductive health, and family psychology. This study recommends extending the program duration, enhancing interactive methods, conducting regular evaluations, and integrating Islamic values to optimize the program’s role in fostering sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil layanan konseling individual yang diberikan guru BK dalam mengatasi kasus bullying di SMPN 18 Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi, dengan mengeksplorasi esensi suatu fenomena yang disampaikan oleh individu yang mengalaminya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sejumlah siswa mengalami bullying verbal di sekolah. Jenis bullying ini berdampak negatif pada kondisi psikologis, perilaku sosial, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Program ini layak menjadi model bagi pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah lain, guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan bebas kekerasan. Berdasarkan temuan, konseling individual ini direkomendasikan sebagai model yang dapat dikembangkan dalam layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah-sekolah lain untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan bebas dari kekerasan.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, especially through social media and various digital devices, has brought significant changes to the lives of adolescents today. This study aims to understand how digital technology influences the formation and transformation of adolescent personalities. By using a literature review as the research method, the results show that digital technology affects the psychological and social aspects of adolescents in complex ways. Although it provides ease of interaction and access to information, technology also presents new challenges related to identity, social skills, and emotional management. Social media, in particular, plays a role in shaping adolescents’ self-perception and has an impact on their psychological well-being. In addition, the presence of digital communication tools facilitates social interaction among adolescents, but also brings new risks related to psychological health. Therefore, guidance and counseling services are needed to help adolescents understand and manage the impact of digital technology on their personalities. Counselors can provide approaches that support adolescents in developing their identities and social skills in the digital era. Social skills, emotional regulation, and a supportive environment are also important factors for adolescent well-being. With good collaboration between schools, families, and communities, adolescents can adapt and develop optimally amid the rapid flow of digitalization, while being able to utilize technology wisely to maintain mental and social health.

Abstract

Burnout among university students is becoming an increasingly concerned issue, especially with consistently increasing academic pressures, social, and personal expectations, hindered them from being reaching stability in mental health. Humanistic Counselling, derived from Person-Centred Therapy with key aspects including acceptance and empathy, offers an effective and meaningful perspective in helping undergraduates overcoming episode of burnout. Acceptance allows students to feel valued and accepted for who they are, without judgment, while empathy gives them space to feel deep emotional understanding and support. This article aims to explore and examine humanistic counsellor’s attitude of acceptance and empathy and its part in the counselling session to hinder and help undergraduate students experiencing burnout. The method used is descriptive qualitative from two clients in several counselling session recorded in field note and interview. Through the counselling session using humanistic counselling, it is found that students had huge amount of opportunity in exploring their feelings, accepting their circumstances without shame, and getting support for long-term recovery while distancing from the burnout triggers. Moreover, acceptance and empathy shown in counsellor’s attitude accelerated the healing process and help students regain the emotional and mental stability post burnout in need to face increasing academic expectations both internally and externally alongside with routine challenges.

Abstract

Narrative Counseling is one of the Post Modern counseling approaches that refers to the ideas and practices of Michael White and David Epston. is a Post Modern counseling approach that focuses on the human capacity to think creatively and imaginatively. The counselee is the main interpreter of their own life experiences and is able to rewrite their narratives according to future expectations. In the scope of education / school, narrative counseling can be applied to help overcome various counselee problems. Both in the personal, social, learning and career fields. With the use of social media or other media that are adjusted to the needs of the counselee. In its implementation, Narrative counseling can also be combined with other counseling approaches

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan profesionalisme sumber daya manusia pada anggota polisi lalu lintas, khususnya Sub Direktorat Pendidikan Masyarakat dan Rekayasa (SubDikyasa) di Kota Bandung. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya untuk menjaga keamanan, keselamatan, ketertiban, dan kelancaran lalu lintas (kamseltibcarlantas), polisi lalu lintas tidak hanya dituntut untuk menegakkan hukum, tetapi juga melaksanakan pembinaan dan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Namun demikian, berbagai tantangan seperti tingginya volume kendaraan, rendahnya kesadaran berlalu lintas, serta ekspektasi masyarakat yang tinggi menuntut personel polisi memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang baik untuk tetap profesional dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap profesionalisme kerja anggota SubDikyasa. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam pengembangan ilmu psikologi SDM serta implikasi praktis dalam peningkatan kualitas kerja polisi lalu lintas.

Abstract

This study is  a descriptive qualitative research aimed at exploring the social interaction skills of students with special needs in schools, as well as the role of the Guidance and Counseling (GC) program in fostering those skills. The subjects of the research included school counselors, the principal, the vice principal, students with special needs, their peers, and the parents of those students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that the school implements an inclusive education approach by providing a special admission pathway for students with special needs during enrollment and offering them the opportunity to participate in school activities such as art performances and Islamic holiday celebrations. The school counselor plays an active role by providing individualized counseling services tailored to each student's needs, and by maintaining communication with homeroom teachers and parents. The social interaction skills of students with special needs develop gradually through the inclusive and supportive school environment. The guidance and counseling program is not significantly different from that offered to regular students, but it does take into account the individual needs of students with special needs. Collaboration among the counselor, school staff, and parents plays an essential role in supporting the development of the students’ social skills

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between workload and coworker social support with presenteeism among nurses. A correlational quantitative approach was used with 115 nurse participants working in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and home care services in Kudus, Pati, and Demak. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling with a minimum one-year work experience requirement. The instruments consisted of three psychological scales: presenteeism, workload, and coworker social support all of which passed validity and reliability testing. Data were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed a significant positive correlation between workload and presenteeism(r = 0.471, p less than 0.01) and a significant negative correlation between coworker social support and presenteeism (r = –0.385, p less than 0.01). Furthermore, regression analysis indicated that workload and coworker social support jointly contributed significantly to presenteeism (R squared = 0.294, F = 23.335, p less than 0.01). These findings emphasize the importance of managing workload and strengthening coworker support to reduce presenteeism among nurses.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the practices of transformational, participatory, and digital leadership within the context of primary schools in the digital era, using a case study at SD Islam Al Ilmu Bekasi. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the school principal and the vice principal of curriculum affairs. The findings reveal that the integration of these three leadership approaches fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and technologically adaptive school culture. Transformational leadership is manifested through individual empowerment and the inspiration of a shared vision, while participatory leadership facilitates collective decision-making and teacher innovation. Meanwhile, digital leadership enhances management efficiency through the optimization of technologies such as DAPODIK and online platforms. This study contributes conceptually to 21st-century educational leadership models and underscores the importance of collaboration, humanistic values, and technological adaptation in the sustainable management of educational institutions.

Abstract

This research describes the condition of artists' religious awareness as the initial basis for implementing Islamic guidance services in art studios, analyzes the values of Islamic guidance in Kiliningan arts which have the potential to be used as material for Islamic guidance, and analyzes how Islamic guidance is implemented in Kiliningan art studios. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving observation, interviews and documentation processes. Research shows that the implementation of Islamic guidance services in art studios is carried out using a small group strategy or fi'ah qolilah through a fitrah approach. The methods used are the ngaguar method, the ngalenyepan method, and the ngalarapkeun method.
