Abstract

Character and moral degradation among students in the digital era has become a growing concern in Islamic education, as unrestricted access to information and social media exposes learners to values that often contradict Islamic teachings. This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the character and moral values of students amid the challenges and opportunities offered by digital technology. This research employs a qualitative approach using the literature study method, in which data were collected from relevant scientific journal articles and books published within the last five years, then selected, categorized, and synthesized to answer the research problem. The findings show that PAI teachers play multiple interrelated roles, namely as moral exemplars (uswah hasanah), spiritual guides (murabbi), and facilitators of religious digital literacy who direct students toward the wise use of technology. Strategies commonly applied include habituating daily worship, integrating Islamic values into contextual and technology-based learning, and building close personal communication with students to reinforce religious character amid digital distraction. This study concludes that the strategic role of PAI teachers remains essential and needs to be strengthened through continuous digital competency training so that character education can adapt without losing its spiritual orientation.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is an important factor in improving organizational effectiveness, particularly in manufacturing companies that rely on teamwork to achieve production targets. However, employees may still show limited initiative to assist their coworkers beyond formal job responsibilities, which can hinder production efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of transactional leadership, organizational culture, and social support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of PT Long Rich. This study employed a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique involving 130 employees of PT Long Rich. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with IBM SPSS. The findings indicate that transactional leadership, organizational culture, and social support have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Among the independent variables, social support was found to be the most dominant factor influencing OCB. Simultaneously, the three variables explained 55.2% of the variance in Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The findings provide practical implications for manufacturing companies in strengthening social support, fostering a positive organizational culture, and implementing effective leadership practices to enhance employees' Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

The high dependency of Generation Z adolescents on social media triggers character vulnerability, such as the normalization of digital moral decadence. Conversely, conventional Islamic Education delivery is often perceived as rigid. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of positive character value campaign content by Husain Basyaiban on TikTok, evaluate the moral value internalization process, and assess social media's effectiveness in shaping religious character. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were gathered through netnography on the TikTok account @kadamsidik00 and in-depth interviews with five adolescent informants in Pasuruan Regency selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis involved data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, validated through triangulation. The results revealed three main findings: (1) Husain Basyaiban engineered content through eight thematic pillars, breaking abstract doctrines into small, practical, and aesthetic moral units (snackable micro-learning); (2) informants experienced real behavioral transformation, including improved commenting self-regulation, digital silence adoption, and a transition toward intrinsic worship motivation; and (3) horizontal storytelling effectively revitalized the principles of Tabayyun and Qoulan Sadida in cyberspace. Social media has successfully evolved from an entertainment platform into a "second school" that builds digital moral resilience.
