Abstract

Palmyra crafts in Suradadi Village, Terara District, East Lombok, are not widely known as a source of educational value. This study aims to reveal educational values and their implementation in palmyra crafts in the village. The approach used is qualitative narrative with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subjects of the study included village officials, craftsmen, and the surrounding community. Data validity tests were carried out through the degree of trust, transferability, dependency, and certainty. Data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The forms of palmyra crafts in Suradadi Village, which began to develop since the 1950s, include tebolaq, sopaq, bale bottles, pencil cases, wall toys, bags, and hats, each with its own uniqueness nd characteristics; (2) Palmyra crafts act as a side job, increase creativity, and fill the free time of housewives, and function in preserving culture, daily use, and adding aesthetic value; (3) Educational values in palm leaf crafts include moral, social, aesthetic, economic, creativity, cultural preservation, cooperation, perseverance, and precision, which influence the character of the community, especially in changing traditional views on the role of women. The implementation of these values is seen in the daily interactions of the craftsmen, strengthening togetherness and creativity.

Abstract

This research aims to provide further explanation about the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile which is generally used in several state elementary schools which leads to an independent curriculum that involves elements of morals, creativity with nature and a sustainable lifestyle. The research method used in this research was qualitative research, the type of research used was descriptive qualitative. This research intended to describe and analyze the implementation of the P5 project. This research was carried out at SDN 4 Selong, the subjects of this research were class teachers and class IV students, totalling 22 students. The data sources for this research were obtained from the principal, class teacher and class IV students at SDN 4 Selong. The data collection technique used in this research was descriptive through observation, interviews and documentation and through data analysis which the researcher used in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile with the theme “Sustainable Lifestyle” for Class IV Students at SDN 4 Selong show that in implementing the P5 project there is a planning stage, an implementation stage and an evaluation stage. At the project planning stage, the level of readiness of the educational unit is at an early stage, where there are still many teachers who do not understand project-based learning well enough. The theme adopted for the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year is a sustainable lifestyle with allocated time for project implementation every week. Furthermore, at the project implementation stage, using syntax, namely preparing learning resources such as tools and materials for the project, forming groups, and working on projects that include introduction, imagination, action or reflection project work. Moreover, at the project evaluation stage, it uses process evaluation through observation during learning activities. Based on the results of this research, several suggestions for the school system are the level of school readiness for project-based learning, for teachers, namely digging for information, taking part in training related to P5 which is carried out collaboratively and participatively, and for students to focus more on project learning so that the implementation of this project can increase students' awareness of sustainable lifestyles and Pancasila values.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) identify and reflect local wisdom values ​​that are included in birth rites in the life of the Sasak ethnic group; (2) explain the integration of local wisdom values ​​in birth rites in the lives of the Sasak ethnic group through science learning in class; (3) explain the integration of local wisdom values ​​in birth rites in Sasak ethnic life which can shape students' social behavior.This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted in Kotaraja Village and at SD Negeri 2 Kotaraja with research subjects as community leaders, school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using credibility testing with source triangulation techniques in various ways and at various times. Data analysis utilized interactive model analysis from Miles & Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on local wisdom values ​​in birth rites in Sasak ethnic life in shaping students' social behavior through science learning at SD Negeri 2 Kotaraja, namely the values ​​of the circumcision rite: (1) the value of togetherness; (2) family values; (3) the value of mutual cooperation and (4) the value of love for one's country and local wisdom. Meanwhile, the integration of local wisdom values ​​in the birth rite of circumcision in shaping students' social behavior in the school environment through the implementation of school programs and the implementation of learning using group learning methods, especially in social and natural science learning in the classroom. The social behavior that is formed through the integration of local wisdom values ​​of Praja Sunatan includes students respecting other people's opinions, students can learn to be responsible for the mandate given, students have an attitude of mutual cooperation, students have an attitude of helping each other in solving problems, students can respect local wisdom in the surrounding area by preserving and protecting it.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to apply the Experiential Learning model to enhance students' learning outcomes in Science focusing on the theme of Heat and Its Transfer, and to identify challenges in implementing this model along with corresponding solutions in the context of education. The study employed a collaborative classroom action research method conducted over two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Participants included teachers and fifth-grade students at Elementary School 02 Josenan during the academic year 2024/2025. The data analyzed consisted of qualitative information regarding the implementation of the Experiential Learning model and quantitative data concerning students' Science learning outcomes. The results indicate that employing the Experiential Learning model with phases such as Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimentation effectively improves students' learning outcomes in Science related to Heat and Its Transfer. The achievement rate increased from 76.33% in cycle I to 92.63% in cycle II. Challenges encountered included low student participation, difficulties in understanding the material, reluctance in presentation, lack of focus, and challenges in articulating opinions clearly. Solutions implemented included rewarding active student participation, enhancing guidance and supervision, assigning all group members to present discussion outcomes, and providing specific guidance in expressing opinions. Thus, this research demonstrates that the Experiential Learning model can effectively enhance Science learning outcomes at the elementary school level, despite facing several challenges that can be overcome with appropriate strategies. Keywords: Experiential Learning, Concrete Objects Media, Learning Outcomes ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam menerapkan model Experiential Learning guna meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS pada tema Panas dan Perpindahannya, serta untuk identifikasi kendala dalam menerapkan model tersebut beserta solusi pada konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Tiap siklusnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah guru dan peserta didik kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Josenan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Data yang dianalisis terdiri dari data kualitatif terkait implementasi model Experiential Learning dan data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar IPAs peserta didik. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan yakni penggunaan model Experiential Learning dengan tahapan Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, dan Active Experimentation efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik pada tema Panas dan Perpindahannya. Tingkat ketuntasan belajar mengalami peningkatan yang semula 76,33% pada siklus I menjadi 92,63% pada siklus II. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi tingkat partisipasi peserta didik yang rendah, kesulitan pemahaman materi, keengganan dalam presentasi, kurangnya fokus, dan hambatan dalam menyampaikan pendapat secara jelas. Solusi yang diimplementasikan mencakup pemberian penghargaan kepada peserta didik yang aktif, peningkatan bimbingan dan pengawasan, penunjukan seluruh anggota kelompok dalam presentasi hasil diskusi, serta bimbingan khusus dalam penyampaian pendapat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memperlihatkan yakni model Experiential Learning dapat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS di tingkat SD, meskipun menghadapi beberapa tantangan yang dapat diatasi dengan strategi yang tepat. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research explores the use of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and support from the Quizizz learning program to improve fourth grade student learning outcomes in Education subjects (PKN). While the CRT approach is used to highlight and integrate students' backgrounds into the learning process, Quizizz becomes a technological tool that encourages adaptive learning and more effective assessment. This research uses an experimental method using an experimental group and a control group, and data collection is carried out through pre-test and post-test. Research shows that combining the CRT approach with the use of Quizizz significantly increases students' understanding of PKN material and creates a culturally based learning environment. The implications of this research highlight the importance of an inclusive education approach that focuses on cultural diversity to achieve holistic and sustainable educational goals. Keywords: Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), Quizizz, and Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, PKN) ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dan dukungan program pembelajaran Quizizz untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan (PKN). Meskipun pendekatan CRT digunakan untuk menekankan dan mengintegrasikan latar belakang budaya siswa ke dalam proses pembelajaran, Quizizz menjadi alat teknologi yang mendorong pembelajaran adaptif dan penilaian yang lebih efektif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggabungkan pendekatan CRT dengan penggunaan Quizizz secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi PKN sekaligus menciptakan lingkungan belajar berbasis budaya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan pendidikan inklusif yang berfokus pada keragaman budaya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang holistik dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

ABSTRACT The uses of digital devices such as handphone in Indonesian language learning has begun to be implemented, but the process of giving assignments and assessments is still manual so it is not effective. The lack of interaction and facilitation of learning needs makes students tend to be passive and bored, especially in Indonesian language subjects, which has an impact on students' low average scores. This research aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes using the TaRL approach with the help of quiziz learning media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was conducted at SDN 02 Josenan on Indonesian language subjects with Pantun material. The PTK procedure includes four main stages, namely: planning, implemention actions, observation and reflection. Data analysis was carried out in a comparative quantitative descriptive manner by comparing data from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The research results show that implementing the TaRL approach with the help of Quizizz can improve students learning outcomes, which can be seen from the comparison of the average scores and percentage of student learning completion in each cycle. Keywords: Teaching At The Right Level, Quiziz Learning Media, Learning Outcomes ABSTRAK Penggunaan perangkat digital seperti smartphone dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sudah mulai diterapkan, namun proses pemberian tugas dan penilaian masih manual sehingga kurang efektif. Kurangnya interaksi dan fasilitasi kebutuhan belajar membuat siswa cenderung pasif dan bosan, terutama dari mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yang berimbas terhadap rendahnya nilai rata-rata siswa. Penelitian ini ditujukan dalam melihat peningkatan hasil belajar melalui implementasi pendekatan TaRL dengan bantuan media pembelajaran quiziz. Jenis penelitian ini ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dijalankan di SDN 02 Josenan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan materi Pantun. Prosedur PTK mencakup empat tahap utama berupa: tahap rencana, penerapan perlakuan, pengamatan, sekaligus perefleksian. Penganalisisan data dijalankan secara deskriptif kuantitatif komparatif melalui data yang dibandingkan pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan yakni penerapan pendekatan TaRL dengan bantuan Quizizz mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, yang mampu dilihat melalui perbedaan nilai rerata dan persentase belajar siswa yang tuntas pada setiap siklus. Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar serta keterampilan sosial.Hal ini disebabkan karena pembelajaran yang kurang bermakna, model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan siswa kesulitan memahami materi pembelajaran.Upaya untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar serta keterampilan sosial siswa yaitu melalui penggunaan model BERANI (Problem Based Learning, Number Head Together, Role Playing). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, serta menganalisis aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, dan keterampilan sosial siswa.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Sebjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SDN Kuin Selatan 1 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang. Jenis data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Sedangkan data kuantitatif diperolehdari teknik pengukuran tes tertulis secara individu dan kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada pertemuan I memperoleh skor 27 dengan kriteria “ cukup baik”,dan pada pertemuan ke IV memperoleh skor 44 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Aktivitas siswa pertemuan I hanya mencapai 25%, dan pada pertemuan IV meningkat menjadi 100%. Keterampilan Sosial Siswa pertemuan I mencapai 37%, dan pada pertemuan IV meningkat menjadi 100%. Hasil belajar siswa pertemuan I 42%, dan pada pertemuan IV mengalami peningkatan menjadi 100% dengan kriteria” tuntas”.Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran BERANI dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, hasil belajar serta keterampilan sosial siswa. Penggunaan model ini dasarankan dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam pemilihan model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract : Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya suatu permasalahan pada kelas III A yaitu terkait dengan membaca pemahaman, peserta didik hanya membaca bacaan tanpamemahami isi materi, dan pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru bukan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivitas model problem based learning bernuasa budaya lokal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas III A SDN Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kunatitatif eksperimen, dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest dan posttest. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas III A yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test dan uji normalitas gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji Paired Sample t-Test yaitu nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0.05. artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Karena H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Yang artinya ada pengaruh model problem based learning bernuasa budaya lokal dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa III A SDN Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang. Sedangkan dari hasil uji normalitas gain pada rata-rata pre-test yaitu 67,6 dan rata-rata post-test yaitu 80,7. Dengan begitu menghasilkan nilai sebesar 0,40 yang berkriteria “sedang”. yang artinya model problem based learning bernuasa budaya lokal efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas III A SDN Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang.

Abstract

Critical thinking abilities, activities and student learning outcomes which are still relatively low are problems in this research. With this problem, research was carried out with the aim of improving students' critical thinking skills, activities and learning outcomes. This research carried out was classroom action research which took place in class 4 of SDN 1 Tamiang Layang with 25 students. The results of the research showed that from the three meetings conducted by researchers it was known that teacher activity obtained a percentage of 96% in the "Very Good" category. Student activity obtained a percentage of 96% and was in the "Very Active" category. Students' critical thinking skills obtained a percentage of 88% so they were included in the "Very Critical" category. Student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 92% with the statement "Completed". Based on the results of this research, it is concluded that by combining the Problem Based Learning, Talking Stick and TPACK models, it can improve the quality of teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Abstract

The research conducted aims to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes on the material of plants and sources of life on earth using the problem based learning (PBL) learning model for fifth grade students. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach of the Kemmic MC Taggart model consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Information is collected through observation, testing, documentation, and interviews. The research was conducted on fifth grade students of SDN Kelun with a total of 29 respondents. Based on the results of the study, student learning outcomes in cycle I have not reached completion with an average value of student learning outcomes of 50,35% and the percentage of students who have completed their learning is 47,35%. While student learning outcomes in cycle II have reached completion with an average value of student learning outcomes of 75,50% and the percentage of students who have completed their learning is 84%.
