Abstract

This study aims to improve the creativity of children aged 5–6 years through the use of kokoru paper media at TK IT Al-Ikhsan Padangmatinggi, Padangsidimpuan City. The research was motivated by the low level of children’s creativity, particularly in expressing ideas, imagination, producing varied works, and showing confidence in presenting their creations. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 15 children in group B. Data were collected through observation sheets, documentation, and assessment of children’s work, and analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations based on the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC ≥ 80). The results showed an increase in creativity achievement from 33.33% in the pre-cycle to 60% in cycle I, and significantly increased to 86.67% in cycle II. These findings indicate that kokoru paper media is effective in enhancing early childhood creativity and can be used as an engaging and meaningful learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti kesenjangan antara ideal pendidikan Islam dan realitas implementasinya di Indonesia, yang terlihat dari dominannya kurikulum berorientasi hafalan, keterbatasan penguatan STEM dan literasi AI, tingginya pengangguran lulusan, serta capaian pembangunan manusia yang belum optimal. Untuk merespons persoalan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei pada 100 pesantren modern pada tahun 2025. Analisis dilakukan dengan model regresi prediktif guna mengukur relevansi integrasi AI–STEM dengan nilai tauhid dan maqasid syariah dalam kerangka digital terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembangunan manusia, inovasi ekonomi syariah, dan ketahanan sosial, sekaligus merumuskan rekomendasi revitalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI–STEM berbasis tauhid dan maqasid syariah dinilai relevan untuk mendorong penguatan pembangunan manusia berbasis digital, meningkatkan pertumbuhan inisiatif kewirausahaan syariah, dan memperkuat kohesi sosial. Penguatan kurikulum STEM yang lebih proporsional diproyeksikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan capaian pembangunan manusia digital, pertumbuhan startup syariah, penurunan konflik identitas, serta penurunan tingkat pengangguran lulusan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa revitalisasi kebijakan pendidikan Islam kontemporer menjadi langkah strategis untuk membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif terhadap transformasi teknologi, tanpa melepaskan fondasi nilai tauhid, sehingga berperan sebagai pilar holistik bagi kemajuan bangsa menuju Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Industri makanan dan minuman merupakan pilar utama ekonomi Indonesia yang memiliki daya tahan tinggi terhadap gejolak ekonomi, namun tetap menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menjaga efisiensi dan profitabilitas di tengah persaingan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi literatur komprehensif mengenai penilaian kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan sub-sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (Library Research) terhadap sepuluh artikel ilmiah terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perusahaan di sektor ini memiliki kondisi likuiditas yang baik, namun sering kali menghadapi tantangan pada rasio profitabilitas dan solvabilitas yang berada di bawah standar industri. Temuan ini juga mengungkapkan adanya variasi kinerja antar perusahaan, di mana faktor eksternal seperti pandemi COVID-19 memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap daya beli masyarakat dan labaperusahaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efisiensi penggunaan aset danpengelolaan struktur modal yang tepat merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkankinerja keuangan dan menciptakan nilai tambah bagi para pemegang saham.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of social media and popular culture on the behavior of fifth-grade students and explores strategies for strengthening media literacy at SDN 24 Batangase. In the digital era, elementary school students are increasingly exposed to various social media platforms and popular culture trends that shape their communication patterns, learning motivation, and social behavior. The objectives of this research were to analyze the level of social media use among students, identify its positive and negative impacts on student behavior, determine factors contributing to low media literacy, and formulate recommendations for media literacy reinforcement in schools. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative data, using observations, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade students, classroom teachers, and parents. The findings indicate that social media and popular culture significantly influence students’ language use, learning concentration, social interaction, and self-confidence. While some students benefit from educational digital content, many experience decreased focus and tend to imitate viral trends without critical evaluation. The results also reveal that students’ media literacy skills are still limited, particularly in evaluating content credibility, digital ethics, and online safety. Therefore, strengthening media literacy through collaborative efforts involving schools, teachers, and parents is essential. Integrating media literacy into learning activities, utilizing popular culture positively, and providing continuous guidance are recommended to help students develop critical, responsible, and character-based digital behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of school climate and teacher role modeling on elementary school students’ disciplinary behavior. The background of this research is the persistence of disciplinary issues among students, which are assumed to be closely related to the quality of the school environment and the example set by teachers. The objective of this study is to analyze both the partial and simultaneous effects of school climate and teacher role modeling on student’discipline. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational design. The population consisted of elementary school students, with samples selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that school climate has a positive and significant effect on students’ disciplinary behavior (β = 0.312; p < 0.05). Teacher role modeling also shows a significant positive influence on student discipline (β = 0.458; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, school climate and teacher role modeling significantly contribute to students’ disciplinary behavior (F = 28.94; p < 0.05), with teacher role modeling showing a stronger influence. These findings suggest that creating a supportive school climate and enhancing teachers’ exemplary behavior are essential strategies for fostering discipline in elementary school students.

Abstract

Celebrity worship refers to an excessive psychological attachment to celebrity figures, while fantasy proneness describes an individual’s tendency to become deeply absorbed in imagination. The rapid growth of K-Pop fan communities, or “fandoms” has intensified parasocial interactions with idols, which may influences fans’ fantasy tendencies. This study used a quantitative correlational approach with purposive sampling. Participants were 321 K-Pop fans aged 18 to 25 who were active university students (259 females and 62 males). The Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) and the Creative Experiences Questionnaire (CEQ) were used to measure the variables. Spearman’s rho analysis showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.581 with p = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant relationship between celebrity worship are associated with hugher levels of fantasy proneness. These findings suggest that strong attachment to celebrities may increase individuals’ tendency to engage in fantasy. Theoretically, the results strengthen the understanding of how parasocial relationship influence cognitive processes.

Abstract

In the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, this study attempts to assess the efficacy of evaluation and follow-up procedures at SD IT Marhamah, an integrated Islamic elementary school in South Solok Regency. A descriptive qualitative method is used in this study. The principal and three teachers were interviewed in-depth, classroom observations were made, and assessment instrument records were examined in order to gather data. Twelve students served as research subjects. The Miles and Huberman model was used for data analysis. The results show that while assessments (diagnostic, formative, and summative) have been administered in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, there are still differences in the caliber of the instruments and the uniformity with which teachers apply the rubric. Remedial, enrichment, and character-building follow-ups have been conducted, but their documentation is still not organized. While time limits, differences in teachers' IT proficiency, and the lack of consistent rubrics are challenges, the principal's leadership and teacher collaboration are the primary supportive aspects. The conclusion is that while the school's assessment and follow-up procedures are rather successful, they are still not at their best. To guarantee long-term improvements in learning quality, it is necessary to strengthen the technical aspects of instrument creation, increase teacher proficiency in assessment analysis, and create a systematic follow-up documentation system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using digital learning media as instructional materials on elementary school students’ learning achievement in Social Studies. The research employed a literature study approach by analyzing 25 relevant research articles published within the last five years. The findings indicate that digital learning media have a significant positive effect on improving students’ Social Studies achievement. Various forms of digital media, including animated videos, interactive multimedia, digital flipbooks, Android-based applications, and digital quiz platforms, were found to enhance students’ learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and engagement in the learning process. Furthermore, the effectiveness of digital learning media is influenced by teachers’ digital competence, the quality of media design, and the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure in schools. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening teachers’ digital literacy and developing digital learning media that align with the characteristics of elementary school students. Future research is recommended to investigate the effectiveness of specific types of digital media in greater depth, particularly in relation to different Social Studies skill domains.

Abstract

This article examines art as a language without words that functions as a medium of social and cultural communication. In culturally diverse societies, art has the capacity to convey meaning, values, and collective experiences beyond verbal language. This study aims to explore the role of art as a medium of communication from a semiotic perspective, positioning artworks as systems of signs whose meanings are shaped through the interaction of symbols, socio-cultural contexts, and audiences as active interpreters. A conceptual approach is employed to understand how art not only represents social realities but also creates symbolic spaces for reflection and the negotiation of meaning. The discussion reveals that art, as a form of nonverbal communication, possesses affective and reflective power that transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries. Therefore, art plays a significant role as an inclusive medium of social and cultural communication that contributes to more humane social understanding and relationships.

Abstract

The main problem in basic education is the inequality and injustice of access to education, which includes geographical, economic, and facility factors. This study aims to identify contemporary issues related to the equity of basic education at SDN 151 Inpres Kalampa, Takalar Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that although accessibility is physically adequate, there are still gaps in digital facilities and the quality of human resources. Data from the school shows student literacy levels are still in the medium category and several students face distance barriers. This study recommends a more inclusive policy through digital infrastructure optimization and local government support for low-income families.
