Abstract

This Study was conducted to determine factor of parental roles in supporting high achieving students in the Faculty of Social and Legal Science in 2024. This study aims to determine what the factor of parental roles in supporting high achieving students in the Faculty of Social and Legal Science in 2024. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The result of the study indicate that forms of parental roles in supporting high-achieving students in the Faculty of Social and Law Sciences in 2024 are realized in six main interconnected forms, namely: 1) Physical needs, 2) Social needs, and 3) Psychological needs. Abstract

Globalization and free trade have brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. Islamic education, as an educational system based on Islamic values, faces various serious challenges amidst the currents of globalization characterized by technological advances, economic liberalization, and cross-border cultural exchange. This study aims to analyze the main challenges of Islamic education in the era of globalization and free trade and the strategic efforts that can be made to address them. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, by reviewing various literature in the form of books, scientific journals, and other relevant documents. The results show that the challenges of Islamic education include global competition for the quality of human resources and Islamic education, the response of Islamic education to the development of modern technology, the impact of moral decadence on students, materialistic orientations affecting the goals of Islamic education, and the threat of brain drain. Therefore, Islamic education is required to innovate its curriculum, strengthen character, improve the professionalism of educators, and utilize digital technology wisely to remain relevant and competitive without losing its Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study examines the legal foundation of Islamic education in Indonesia through an integrative approach between Islamic law (sharia) and positive law. The research reveals that Islamic education in Indonesia has a strong and comprehensive legal foundation consisting of two complementary dimensions: sharia law sourced from the Qur'an, Sunnah, and ijtihad methods (qiyas and istihsan), and positive law manifested in the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, and Government Regulation No. 55 of 2007 on Religious Education. Using qualitative methods with normative juridical approaches, this research finds that the relationship between sharia law and positive law is not contradictory but rather synergistic and harmonious. Both legal foundations work together to achieve the ultimate goal of Islamic education: forming insan kamil (complete human beings) who are faithful, pious, noble in character, intelligent, and competent. This study contributes to understanding how Islamic education in Indonesia successfully integrates religious values with national education systems, creating a unique model that can serve as a reference for other Muslim-majority countries. The findings show that this legal integration not only guarantees the existence of Islamic education but also provides space for innovation and development while maintaining Islamic authenticity.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia has developed in various forms and models influenced by social, cultural, political, and national education policy dynamics. This diversity has given rise to differences in the characteristics of Islamic education provided by formal, non-formal, and informal institutions. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the Islamic education system in Indonesia by examining aspects of educational objectives, curriculum, learning methods, and its contribution to the formation of students' personalities. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various relevant scientific sources, including books, journals, and educational policy documents. The results of the study show that Islamic education in Indonesia has advantages in strengthening moral and spiritual values, but still faces challenges in integrating modern science and technology. Differences in approach between Islamic boarding schools, madrasas, and Islamic public schools show variations in educational orientation and learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that strengthening the synergy between Islamic education models is necessary to create an adaptive, competitive education system that remains based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Plastic waste is an environmental problem that has a serious impact on ecosystemsand human health. The low awareness of elementary school students towardsplastic waste management shows the importance of environmental education froman early age. This study aims to analyze the influence of plastic waste hazardeducation on the knowledge and attitudes of SDN Serang 17 students. The studyused a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test controlgroup design. The research subjects consisted of students of SDN Serang 17 whowere divided into experimental groups and control groups. The research instrumentsare in the form of knowledge questionnaires and attitude questionnaires that havebeen validated. The experimental group was given education on the dangers ofplastic waste through interactive learning, while the control group followed the usuallearning. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge andattitudes in the experimental group compared to the control group. Thus, educationon the dangers of plastic waste is effective in increasing understanding and formingattitudes of caring for the environment in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Role Playing learning model in fostering democratic attitudes in students in Civics (PKn) in elementary schools. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-experimental design (One Group Pretest-Posttest Design). The subjects were 11 fifth-grade students of GMIT Kuanino 3 Elementary School. Data were collected using a Likert-scale democratic attitudes questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average score of students' democratic attitudes from 43.00 (Agree) in the pretest to 47.05 (Strongly Agree) in the posttest, representing a 9.88% increase in effectiveness. This increase was confirmed by the results of the Paired Sample T-Test, which yielded a t-value of -5.750 with 10 degrees of freedom (df) and a p-value of 0.000. Because the p value <0.05, it is proven that there is a significant difference between the scores before and after the intervention. It is concluded that the implementation of the Role Playing learning model is significantly effective in fostering democratic attitudes in fifth grade students of GMIT Kuanino 3 Elementary School. Abstract

The Koda Geto ceremony is a sacred tradition of the Leworok Village community that holds significant social and cultural functions in maintaining communal harmony. Based on a literature review, Koda Geto is not only understood as a religious ritual but also as a reflection of social interaction and the deeply rooted value of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) within the community’s life. This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of social interaction and mutual cooperation values reflected in the implementation of the Koda Geto ceremony in Leworok Village. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach, in which data were obtained from various journals, books, and relevant scientific sources. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to gain a deep understanding of the socio-cultural meanings within the tradition. The findings show that Koda Geto plays an important role as a medium for strengthening solidarity, togetherness, and respect for ancestral values through the practice of community cooperation. This study recommends the preservation of Koda Geto through local cultural education and social activities to ensure that the values of unity and cooperation in the Leworok community remain intact amid modernization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar melalui kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya minat baca dan kemampuan literasi siswa, yang dipengaruhi kurangnya fasilitas literasi dan minimnya kebiasaan membaca di sekolah. Program membaca 15 menit merupakan bagian dari Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang menekankan pembiasaan membaca sebagai langkah awal membangun budaya literasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek siswa kelas VI semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes pemahaman bacaan, serta dokumentasi, kemudian ffdianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan membaca 15 menit dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, kedisiplinan, kemandirian, dan fokus membaca siswa. Wawancara dengan siswa dan guru memperlihatkan bahwa kegiatan ini membantu meningkatkan motivasi dan kesiapan belajar siswa. Hasil tes pemahaman bacaan menunjukkan 60% siswa berada pada kategori baik dan 40% kategori cukup. Dengan demikian, kegiatan membaca 15 menit terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca dan perlu dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Studi ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh perilaku bullying terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah Wiyung Surabaya. Studi ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang disupport dari analisis statistik dari uji Paired Sample T-Test dalam menilai prestasi belajar siswa. Data diperoleh dari angket, pretest dan posttest. Temuan analisis mengindikasikan jika skor signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,009 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan dari skor mean pretest serta posttest. Disamping demikian, menurut temuan wawancara bersama guru menunjukkan jika perilaku bullying siswa kelas 5 tergolong ringan, seperti ejekan antar teman dan kata-kata kasar sehingga dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar serta rasa percaya diri. Meskipun perilaku bullying berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar dan berdampak negatif terhadap aspek psikologis dan motivasi siswa. Maka, sekolah perlu memperkuat pencegahan dan mewujudkan lingkungan belajar yang aman serta terjauhkan diantara perilaku bullying.

Abstract

This study aims to describe both the process and outcomes of implementing Pancasila Education in developing primary school students’ character. It employs a descriptive quantitative approach, utilizing online surveys completed by fifth and sixth-grade students at SDN 1 Pasawahan, Cirebon Regency. The research instrument was validated by experts and passed a limited trial phase. The results indicate that students’ understanding and application of Pancasila values are in the high category, with an average score of 75 for aspects such as respectful attitude, discipline, independence, responsibility, and national pride. The implementation of Pancasila Education has proven effective in promoting positive behaviors and reducing negative behaviors among students. Major challenges in the Pancasila character-building program include fluctuating learning motivation and limited teacher training, making innovative experiential and technology-based learning crucial. The research recommends active collaboration among schools, teachers, parents, and the community to strengthen the character education environment, alongside the optimization of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, to nurture a future generation with strong character, creativity, and integrity in societal life.
