Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar pendidikan pancasila peserta didik kelas IV SDN 66 Pontianak Kota, seringnya penggunaan pembelajaran direct instruction (pembelajaran langsung), dan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dari awal hingga akhir tidak terstruktur dan tergambarkan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV SDN 66 Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu ( quasi eksperimental design ), adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu ( nonequivalent control group design). Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas A berjumlah 26 peserta didik dan kelas B 26 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 61,73 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttestnya 79,8. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 63,46 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttestnya sebesar 71,53. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar posttest kelas kontrol. Hasil perhitungan uji t yang menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2- tailed) sebesar 0,038 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis H a diterima dan H 0 ditolak, sehingga model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV SDN 66 Pontianak Kota.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya nilai Matematika peserta didik kelas V di SDN 07 Sungai Raya, terutama dalam soal cerita pemecahan masalah. Dengan merujuk pada teori Polya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis atau mengkaji secara mendalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah Matematika peserta didik kelas V, khususnya dalam perkalian dan pembagian desimal. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan 23 peserta didik kelas VF sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis yang terdiri dari lima soal cerita pemecahan masalah dan dianalisis berdasarkan empat indikator Polya: memahami masalah, membuat rencana penyelesaian masalah, melaksanakan rencana yang telah ditetapkan, dan memeriksa ulang jawaban yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik secara umum masih sangat rendah. Terlihat bahwa hanya indikator memahami masalah yang berada dalam kategori “sedang”, sementara tiga indikator lainnya (membuat rencana penyelesaian masalah, melaksanakan rencana yang telah ditetapkan, dan memeriksa ulang jawaban yang diperoleh) berada dalam kategori “sangat rendah”. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta didik belum mampu menyelesaikan soal cerita pemecahan masalah Matematika secara sistematis. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan latihan dan penguatan secara berkelanjutan pada setiap tahap pemecahan masalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut.

Abstract

The main problem of this study was the low level of student activity, critical thinking, and mathematics learning outcomes, particularly in whole number division. These challenges arose from limited student engagement, underdeveloped thinking skills, and results that fell below the Minimum Mastery Criteria. To address this, the study applied a combination of the Problem-Based Learning model, Realistic Mathematics Education, and Snowball Throwing. The research aimed to describe teacher and student activities, analyze students’ critical thinking skills, and evaluate their learning outcomes.This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with fourth- grade students of class IVB at SDN 5 Loktabat Banjarbaru in the 2024/2025 academic year as subjects. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches were employed. Qualitative data were gathered through observations of teacher and student activities, while quantitative data were obtained from student learning outcomes based on Final Semester Assessment (SAS) scores. Data were analyzed using percentage scales and predetermined indicators of success.The findings indicated that in the final cycle, teacher activity reached the “Excellent” category, student activity was “Highly Active,” and critical thinking skills were categorized as “Highly Skilled.” Furthermore, classical mastery of learning outcomes met the expected criteria. In conclusion, the integration of Problem-Based Learning with Realistic Mathematics Education and Snowball Throwing effectively improved student participation, critical thinking, and mathematics achievement in whole number division. This model is recommended as an alternative for teachers to enhance engagement, foster critical thinking, and improve academic results in mathematics and other related subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of arm muscle strength training on the performance of overhead floating serve in volleyball among extracurricular participants at SMK Al-Ihya Selajambe, Kuningan Regency. The background of this research is the difficulty faced by many students in mastering the basic technique of the overhead floating serve correctly, thus requiring specific training to improve this skill. The research method used was an experimental approach with a one- group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 10 students selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a floating serve skill test conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment, which consisted of push-up training for 10 sessions over 5 weeks.The results showed an increase in the average score from 18.10 in the pretest to 24.40 in the posttest. The normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test using a paired samples t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of arm muscle strength training on the overhead floating serve performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that arm muscle strength training is effective in improving the overhead floating serve performance in volleyball extracurricular participants at SMK Al-Ihya Selajambe, Kuningan Regency.

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of underdeveloped creativity in early childhood and thelack of appropriate activities to enhance it. The purpose is to improve the creativity of earlychildhood children through pattern filling activities using origami paper pieces. The researchwas conducted as a qualitative descriptive study at Pelita Kindergarten, Koto Baru District,Dharmasraya Regency, from April 14 to 17, 2025. Data sources included the principal,group B class teachers, and 15 students. Data were collected through observation,interviews, and documentation. Analysis involved data reduction, data display, drawingconclusions, and verification, with data validity ensured by triangulation.The findings showthat pattern filling activities with origami paper were implemented according to establishedprocedures. Initially, 73% of children’s creativity was undeveloped. However, after theintervention, creativity improved significantly across five indicators. For Fluency (IdeaFluency), 14 out of 15 children (93%) excelled in creating ideas. For Flexibility, the highestsub-indicator was the ability to determine techniques, also at 93% with 14 children.Originality (Authenticity) showed creative ideas at 73% with 11 children. Elaborational(Detailedness) reached 100% accuracy with all 15 children. Sensitivity was demonstratedby 14 children (93%) responding effectively to their own problems. These results confirmthat pattern filling with origami paper is an effective activity to enhance early childhoodcreativity, fostering idea generation, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and sensitivity.

Abstract

An investigation was conducted to examine the effectiveness of traditional musiceducation in improving the fine motor skills of elementary school students. This researchwas prompted by the lack of innovative teaching methods for developing fine motor skills,which are often overlooked in traditional curricula. Traditional music, especially wheninvolving instruments like the gamelan or angklung, requires precise coordination of thehands, fingers, and eyes, making it a potentially effective medium for fine motor skill training.The study employed a quantitative research approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample consisted of a single experimental group that received traditional music education, which was implemented in a series of treatment stages. Datawere collected through direct observation and fine motor skills tests administered before(pre-test) and after (post-test) the intervention. Statistical analysis using a t-test wasconducted to compare the improvement in fine motor scores. The results indicated asignificant increase in the fine motor skills of students in the experimental group. Thisimprovement was statistically higher than that of a control group. The findings suggest thattraditional music education is more effective in enhancing the fine motor skills ofelementary school students than conventional art education methods. Based on theseresults, it is recommended that traditional music education be integrated into theelementary school curriculum as an alternative approach to optimize the development ofstudents' fine motor skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang, proses implementasi, hasil dan kendala yang dialami dalam pelaksanaan adaptasi teknologi Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 pada kemampuan mengoperasikan Microsoft Word Siswa Kelas VI SD Inpres 10/73 Pancaitana Kabupaten Bone. Adapun fokus penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan adaptasi teknologi pada kemampuan mengoperasikan Microsoft Word. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 orang siswa kelas VI, 1 orang wali kelas VI, dan rekan mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar SD Inpres 10/73 Pancaitana. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan pedoman wawancara mendalam dengan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan model iluminatif dan teknik analisis data melalui Tahap Reduksi Data, Tahap Penyajian Data, dan Tahap Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah latar belakang pelaksanaan kegiatan yang berangkat dari kesulitan siswa menggunakan Microsoft Word, proses implementasi kegiatan melalui sesi penyajian materi dan praktek, hasil yang diperoleh bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan adaptasi teknologi program Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 mendukung pengembangan kemampuan mengoperasikan Microsoft Word siswa dan adapun kendala yang dialami yakni dari segi fasilitas laptop yang kuantitasnya tidak sebanding dengan jumlah siswa juga waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan yang kurang efektif.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem of the uneven writing skills of grade 1 students, namely students who still have difficulty writing letters properly, even though letter writing skills are one of the basic skills that students must master to support other science learning. This study aims to describe the effect of the alphabet method assisted by single image media in improving the initial writing skills of phase A elementary school students. The method used is a quantitative method (quasi-experiment) with the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was phase A grade 1 learners in one of the public elementary schools in Tasikmalaya Regency. The sample of this study involved 25 students in the control class and 25 students in the experimental class. The results of the data analysis showed the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 (0.002 < 0.005), which indicates a significant effect of the alphabet method assisted by single-picture media in improving students' beginning writing skills. Thus, the alphabetic method assisted by single image media is worth considering to be applied in learning beginning writing in phase A elementary school students.

The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model with Character Education Integration on the Outcomes of IPAS Class IV Students of UPT SD Negeri 7 Lanne Kabupaten Pangkep Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Kegurusn and Education Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. Supervised by Amri Amal, and Anisa. This research is a Pre-experiment study with a one group pretest-posttest design that aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model integrated with character education on the learning outcomes of IPAS everyone UPT SD Negeri 7 Lanne totalling 69 students. The population in this study were all fourth grade students, and the sample amounted to 21 students selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through multiple choice learning outcome tests and group worksheets to assess the character of students such as activeness, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and questioning skills. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to describe changes in Pretest and Posttest scores and improvements in student character. Inferential analysis was conducted using the N-Gain test, normality test, and hypothesis testing (Paired Sample T-Test). The results showed that the average score of students increased from 51.19 (pretest) to 86.90 (posttest) with an N-Gain of 0.75 which is included in the high category. The normality test shows that the data is normally distributed (pretest = 0.360; posttest = 0.145). The hypothesis test results show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. In addition, the results of group work show an increase in the character of students in terms of activeness, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and asking questions. The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Based Learning model with the integration of character education has a significant effect on improving students' IPAS learning outcomes.

Abstract

The study of this research was to enhance mathematical learning processes and academic performance among sixth-grade pupils at SD Negeri 128/II Pasir Putih by applying the Number Head Together cooperative learning approach. The research motivation stemmed from poor mathematical performance among learners, with roughly 70% of pupils failing to achieve the Minimum Mastery Criteria. These challenges resulted from the extensive reliance on traditional instructional approaches, insufficient use of tangible educational resources including visual materials, and limited student engagement in mathematical learning activities, particularly when grasping abstract mathematical concepts such as fractions and decimals.The research utilized a Classroom Action Research methodology comprising two cycles, with each cycle containing two sessions. Information was gathered using classroom observations of instructional activities, student assignment sheets, and academic performance assessments. The data examination showed substantial enhancement in both instructional processes and mathematical performance following the adoption of the NHT approach. During the initial cycle, student proficiency rates achieved 59%, subsequently rising to 81% in the following cycle, demonstrating that the instruction had reached collective mastery standards. The instructional process similarly advanced from 65% effectiveness in the first session of cycle I to 93% in the final session of cycle II, as observed in both educator and student performance.The research determined that the NHT instructional model successfully promotes student engagement, teamwork, learning enthusiasm, and comprehension of mathematical principles related to fractions and decimals. Consequently, the NHT approach represents an effective alternative instructional method for elementary mathematics education to elevate learning quality and student academic success.
