Abstract

This study aimed to improve discipline and interest in learning Indonesian in third-grade students at SD Negeri 94 Beba through interactive and engaging learning strategies. The results showed an increase in discipline after consistent classroom rules were implemented, as well as an increase in interest in learning through the use of varied media and methods. Both aspects positively impacted student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The transformation of educational administration through digital service centers has emerged as a strategic innovation for enhancing the effectiveness of Guidance and Counseling (BK) services and career guidance in the digital era. This article is a theoretical review that examines the paradigm shift from conventional service systems to more responsive, integrated, and data-driven digital platforms. Through an analysis of recent literature, this paper explores the concept of digital educational administration, service innovation models, and the implementation of technology in counseling and career development. The review findings indicate that digital service centers improve accessibility, service speed, intervention personalization, and data-based decision-making quality. Additionally, digitalization enables real-time student monitoring systems, strengthens stakeholder collaboration, and supports administrative automation. However, challenges such as digital literacy, data security, and infrastructure readiness must be addressed throughout the transformation process. This study concludes that digital service center innovation plays a significant role in enhancing educational administration and improving the quality of guidance and counseling as well as career services in modern educational environments.

Abstract

The graduate profile dimensions are an integral component that every student must possess after completing a learning and education process. The eight graduate profiles emphasize not only cognitive aspects but also the development of character and skills that students will need in their daily lives. The implementation of the change from the P5 program to the 8 graduate profile dimensions has not been fully implemented in various schools. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of the change from P5 to the 8 Graduate Profile Dimensions on elementary school teachers. A qualitative method was used with a case study design aimed at understanding social phenomena descriptively. Data collection was carried out through literature review and interviews with teachers at SD N 1 Sindon. The results of the study explain that the change from P5 to the 8-dimensional graduate profile has an impact on several aspects, such as the implementation process, the level of teacher understanding, and implementation constraints, thus requiring new strategies in the implementation process of the 8-dimensional graduate profile program. Therefore, continuous evaluation and system strengthening are needed so that the objectives of the 8-dimensional graduate profile program can be better achieved optimally at the education level in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics, emotional state, and behavior of a 9-year-old autistic girl at SKHN 02 Kota Serang through observation and interviews. Autism is a neurological development disorder that affects social interaction, communication, and behavior regulation, usually appearing before the age of three. The research uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interview, and documentation, with the accompanying teacher as the main informant. The findings show that autistic children have difficulties in focusing, interacting, and understanding emotions, and often display repetitive behaviors as a way to express anxiety. According to Piaget's theory of cognitive development, autistic children face challenges in understanding abstract concepts and need suitable learning media to support their cognitive growth. In terms of emotional aspects, Daniel Goleman's theory suggests that autistic children often struggle with emotional regulation, which is shown through tantrums and discomfort in certain situations. Teachers manage emotions by giving children opportunities to express their feelings and providing calmness when needed. Meanwhile, according to behavioral theory, behavior change can be improved through positive reinforcement and the habituation of adaptive behaviors in both school and home environments. Overall, this study emphasizes the important role of teachers as facilitators in helping the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development of autistic children through learning strategies and continuous individualized approaches. This study shows that teacher support as a learning facilitator plays a key role in shaping the social, emotional, and cognitive abilities of autistic children. Teachers not only create suitable learning strategies but also provide a safe environment for exploring emotions and behaviors, allowing children to develop according to their own potential. The findings highlight that structured, responsive, and consistent interventions can have a significant impact on the independence and adaptability of autistic children in daily learning activities and social interactions. This emphasizes the importance of collaboration between teachers, schools, and families in supporting the overall growth of children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh lingkungan sosial termasuk kondisi mental ibu hamil dan rangsangan selama masa sensitif Montessori (0-6 tahun) terhadap kemajuan bahasa anak usia dini. Unsur-unsur seperti paparan verbal dari orang tua, rekan sejawat, dan pendidik berperan krusial dalam mempercepat penguasaan bahasa pertama (B1) serta memperlancar beralih ke bahasa kedua (B2). Teori interaksionisme Vygotsky, melalui Zona Perkembangan Proksimal (ZPD) dan scaffolding, menjadi fondasi analisis proses akuisisi bahasa dalam kerangka sosial. Rekomendasi pendidikan dasar menyoroti pembelajaran bersama serta partisipasi keluarga untuk membentuk ekosistem optimal yang mendukung pengembangan bahasa dan kepribadian anak secara integral.​

Abstract

Students’ difficulties in using capital letters and punctuation correctly indicate the need for interactive and problem-based learning media. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the implementation steps of the Pinguin Pintar educational game media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL), and (2) to describe the effectiveness test of this media in improving students’ writing skills, especially in the use of capital letters and punctuation. This study employed a mixed-method Sequential Explanatory design referring to Khabibullah & Sholahuddin’s (2024) theory, beginning with quantitative analysis followed by qualitative exploration. The results show a significant improvement in students’ writing ability, marked by an increase in the average score from 74.5 to 86.1 and a rise in classical completeness from 42.8% to 86.4%. Improvements were also seen in specific writing aspects: initial capital letters (87.5%), capital letters for proper names (84%), accuracy of periods and commas (77.2%), and question marks (82.5%). Based on the two research objectives, it is concluded that (1) the Pinguin Pintar media can be implemented systematically through PBL stages such as problem orientation, investigation, discussion, and solution presentation, and (2) the media is proven effective in improving students’ accuracy in using capital letters and punctuation.

Abstract

This mini research was conducted at Anugerah Kasih Orphanage to identify developmental issues among children, particularly related to their self-confidence and reading ability. Observations and interviews showed that several children demonstrated low confidence in communication and had not yet achieved fluent reading skills at the elementary school level. This study employed a qualitative method through observation, interviews, and the use of educational interventions, including educational videos, interactive quizzes, and pop-up books. The results indicate that these learning media effectively increased the children's learning motivation, improved their self-confidence, and enhanced their reading skills. Therefore, the use of varied educational media is recommended to support children's development in orphanage settings.

Abstract

Numerous studies have demonstrated that students’ scientific literacy remains low, indicating the need for improvement in the learning process. Interactive learning that utilizes technology as a medium to enhance scientific literacy in the digital era is essential, considering the rapid advancement of technology and its inseparable role in everyday life. For science teachers and pre-service teachers, it is crucial to develop the competencies required to teach students in accordance with the demands of the times. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method aimed at comparing the findings of research articles published in Scopus-indexed journals. The keywords used to identify relevant articles in the Scopus database were “interactive learning” and “scientific literacy”, yielding 1,532 publications. After a process of screening and reduction based on inclusion and exclusion criteria (topic relevance, publication year, and article quality), 30 articles were selected for further analysis. The analysis revealed an increase in publications in 2025, with 18 articles published that year. The authorship analysis showed that research on interactive learning is predominantly conducted in Indonesia (60%), with additional contributions from Malaysia, South Korea, Australia, and the United States. The most prolific author identified was Putra. The findings indicate that technology integration is at the core of interactive learning development in the digital era, strongly supported by educational technology, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality. However, challenges remain in effectively integrating these technologies with pedagogical strategies to sustainably improve scientific literacy.

Abstract

Pembentukan kemandirian sejak sekolah dasar merupakan bagian penting dari proses pendidikan, terutama ketika sekolah berupaya menyiapkan peserta didik yang mampu mengatur diri dan bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas-tugasnya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana manajemen peserta didik di SD Kanisius Kalasan dijalankan untuk mendukung tumbuhnya kemandirian siswa kelas IV. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi aktivitas sekolah, wawancara dengan guru, serta telaah dokumen pendukung. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah menata pengelolaan peserta didik secara bertahap, dimulai dari penyusunan aturan kelas dan program pembiasaan sederhana hingga pembagian tugas yang menuntut keterlibatan aktif siswa. Dalam praktiknya, guru tidak hanya memberi instruksi, tetapi juga mendampingi siswa agar terbiasa merencanakan, menyelesaikan, dan mengevaluasi tugasnya sendiri. Berbagai pembiasaan seperti kedisiplinan waktu, kerapian, serta tanggung jawab piket menjadi sarana utama untuk memperkuat kemampuan mengatur diri. Namun, penerapannya tidak selalu berjalan mulus. Perbedaan karakter dan kesiapan siswa, waktu belajar yang relatif singkat, serta dukungan orang tua yang tidak merata membuat sebagian program membutuhkan penyesuaian. Meski begitu, pengelolaan peserta didik yang dilakukan secara konsisten tetap memberikan pengaruh yang terlihat pada perkembangan kemandirian siswa, khususnya pada aspek kedisiplinan dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan sederhana. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen peserta didik berperan nyata dalam mendorong tumbuhnya kemandirian siswa, terutama ketika sekolah, guru, dan orang tua dapat bekerja selaras dan saling melengkapi dalam memberikan pembiasaan yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 007 Sungai Pinang. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes and student activity through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study used a qualitative approach with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The research subjects consisted of teachers and 20 fifth-grade students at SDN 007 Sungai Pinang, comprising 13 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. The study was conducted in two cycles. After the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, there was an increase in student learning outcomes in learning, as seen in positive changes in the learning process, where students appeared more enthusiastic and active in participating in learning activities. These changes in the process also had an impact on improving student learning outcomes, from a satisfactory (C) qualification of 70% in cycle I to a good (B) qualification of 90% in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning in grade V at SDN 007 Sungai Pinang.
