Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject of fairy tales. This study was conducted in class IV B of SD Negeri 39 Padang Kalua in the 2025 academic year consisting of 30 students. The data in this study were obtained through observation and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. Improvement in learning outcomes of class IV B students of SD Negeri 39 Padang Kalua in learning Indonesian language material fairy tales through the application of illustrated story media. Cycle II The percentage of completion of fairy tale material using illustrated story media for class IV B students of SD Negeri 39 Padang Kalua in cycle II was 96.67% or 29 out of 30 students were included in the complete category according to the school's KKM, namely 69 then 3.33% or 1 out of 30 students were included in the incomplete category. The activity of student learning outcomes through the application of illustrated story media in learning Indonesian students of class IV B of SD Negeri 36 Padang Kalua resulted in changes in student behavior. This is evident in the student learning outcomes in cycle I, which reached 44.4% in the "fair" category, and increased to 100% in the "very good" category in cycle II.

Abstract

One of the main problems raised by this study is the low critical thinking ability of students while studying in science. Other problems are the lack of various teaching methods and the lack of use of open resources from the surrounding environment. The aim is to determine whether the role-playing method assisted by learning resources from the surrounding environment can affect students' critical thinking ability. The quantitative method used, and the experimental design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. 17 fourth-grade students from UPTD SD Negeri 18 Riau Silip were one of the subjects. The collected essay questions were used to test critical thinking ability. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test and sequential sample t-test were then used to examine the data. The results showed an increase in the average score from 50 in the pretest to 78.2 in the posttest. With a hypothesized p-value of 17.638, which is greater than the t-table of 2.120, and a p-value of 0.001 which is less than 0.05, the data were found to be normally distributed. The pretest significance value was 0.237 and the posttest significance value was 0.210, both of which were greater than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills in science learning are truly influenced by their roles and learning resources from their environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to develop a learning evaluation product using gimkits on norm materials in the customs of my region, to be able to test the feasibility of the product. This research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) development model. This research involved 30 students, one media expert lecturer, one linguist, one material expert lecturer, and one material expert teacher. Based on the results of the validation carried out by the validator, the final results were obtained, namely, the results of the validation of media experts got 100%, the results of the validation of the lecturer material experts got 98%, and the results of the teacher validation got 100%, with an average result of 99.5%, it can be said that the product has the criteria of "Very Feasible". The results of the questionnaire on the students' responses received 93% results and the teacher's response received 96% of the results of which the two questionnaires were classified in the "Very Good" category. The result of the average value of N-Gain value is 0.80 with a percentage of 80.6% which is included in the "High" category. Based on these results, the researcher concluded that the development of learning evaluation using gimkits on norm materials in the customs of my region is feasible and effective to be applied at Pertiwi Elementary School in Bogor City.

Abstract

Interaksi sosial merupakan proses dasar yang membentuk pola hubungan, struktur sosial, dan makna dalam masyarakat. Dalam organisasi publik seperti Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), interaksi sosial berperan krusial tidak sekadar sebagai komunikasi pertukaran informasi, tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme membangun koordinasi, kepercayaan, budaya organisasi, dan pencapaian tujuan kolektif. Studi ini mengkaji implementasi interaksi sosial di Kemenag Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI), sebuah wilayah dengan keragaman sosial-keagamaan yang kompleks yang mencerminkan multikulturalisme Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini memaparkan bagaimana interaksi internal antar Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dan interaksi eksternal dengan masyarakat, termasuk ormas serta tokoh agama, dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Kemenag OKI mengedepankan budaya kolaboratif, komunikasi intensif, dan pembinaan SDM berkarakter, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan efektivitas layanan, pemeliharaan harmoni sosial-keagamaan, dan penguatan legitimasi kelembagaan sebagai bagian yang dipercaya oleh masyarakat. Studi ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana interaksi sosial dapat menjadi strategi penting dalam tata kelola pemerintahan bidang agama yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap dinamika sosial-kultural lokal. Temuan ini juga menyarankan pentingnya internalisasi nilai kearifan lokal dan moderasi beragama dalam mengelola keragaman untuk mewujudkan keharmonisan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the English Day extracurricular activity on character building among elementary school students. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach at SD Negeri 4 Lintong Nihuta. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the implementation of English Dayactivities. The findings reveal that English Day positively contributes to students’ character development, particularly in fostering confidence, responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. Students become more courageous in communicating using English, more responsible in completing assigned tasks, and more disciplined in adhering to school rules during activities. Group-based tasks such as educational games and drama performances also enhance cooperation and respect among peers. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including teachers’ limited English proficiency and a lack of activity variation and learning facilities. Overall, English Day serves not only as a medium for improving English language skills but also as an effective character education program that shapes students into more confident, disciplined, and collaborative individuals. Future implementations should emphasize teacher involvement, creative program design, and parental support to optimize outcomes.

Abstract

Membaca pemahaman merupakan bagian keterampilan berbahasa yang memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil prasurvey yang dilakukan pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2025 di SD Inpres Bertingkat Oebobo 2 terdapat permasalahan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia diperoleh data bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV masih rendah. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Dalam kegiatan pembelajara membaca siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan, menjawab pertanyaan yang berasal dari teks bacaan, kesulitan ketika diminta untuk menceritakan kembali bacaan yang telah mereka baca, dan siswa juga kesulitan dalam menentukan kalimat utama dan ide pokok dari suatuparagraf. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), peneliti bertindak sebagai guru dan mitra kolaborasi sebagai observer. Pembelajaran dilakukan selama 2 siklus dengan 2 kali pertemuan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis, lembar observasi untuk mengamati kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Hasil penelitian dengan penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan metode SQ3R adalah ketuntasan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 54,64 dan pada siklus II sebesar 78,23. Jadi dari siklus I ke siklus II aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat 23,60. Sedangkan hasil tes kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada siklus I sebesar 52,94 dan pada siklus II sebesar 76,47. Jadi dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 23,53. Oleh karena itu dapat diambil kesimpulan penggunaan metode SQ3R dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Bertingkat Oebobo 2

Abstract

The development of education-themed films in Indonesia has shown significant changes. Initially, these films were only used as a means to convey moral values and ethical propaganda, but they have now transformed into reflective media that highlight the psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of students. This study aims to explore the changes in form and content of Indonesian educational films over the past twenty years, with an emphasis on the messages conveyed, character development, and the alignment of the values presented with the learning process and personality formation. The approach used is qualitative through literature review and content analysis of several popular films, including Laskar Pelangi (2008), Negeri 5 Menara (2012), Tanah Surga... Katanya (2012), and the Indonesian version of Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2019). The research results indicate that educational films in Indonesia have shifted from rigid and normative narrative patterns to a more humanistic approach that is relevant to societal realities. Films now not only serve as conveyors of moral messages but also reflect the challenges and issues in national education. This study recommends that films be utilized as learning resources that support the implementation of contextual approaches and character development within the formal education system, particularly in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in the learning process and handling the behavior of autistic children at the Widya Wicara Special Needs Tutoring Institute for Children with Special Needs. The method used is descriptive qualitative through interviews and direct observation of teachers and children's learning activities. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a crucial role in developing children's independence through structured learning, basic skills training, and the use of visual media appropriate to the characteristics of autistic children. Teachers also apply a gentle and empathetic approach in handling tantrums or emotional outbursts, such as providing comfort, diversion, and providing positive stimuli. In addition, the social and interaction skills of autistic children are gradually trained through intensive mentoring. The research findings indicate developments in children's cognitive, social, and emotional regulation abilities after consistent learning. Parental support is an important factor in strengthening the results of the intervention. Overall, the directed role of teachers and the use of appropriate learning strategies contribute significantly to the development of autistic children in special education environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan media Pop Up Book pada materi keadaan cuaca untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas III SD dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan produk Pop Up Book pada materi keadaan cuaca untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas III SD. Penggunaan media pembelajaran memberikan pembelajaran yang efektif dan menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa.Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model penelitian yang dikembangkan adalah model pengembangan 4-D. Model pengembangan ini dimodifikasi dari model pengembangan perangkat yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagrajan, Semmel dan Semmel (1974: 5). Model ini menggunakan 4 tahapan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD. Uji coba terbatas dengan 6 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor postes dan pretes minat belajar yang diperoleh 94% dapat dinyatakan sangat baik. Hasil pretest dan postes respon siswa terhadap produk respon siswa 92% dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Minat siswa terlihat setelah menggunakan media dengan ditunjukkan sikap antusiasme, perasaan senang, memahami pelajaran, dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of peer support influence on the academic achievement of eleventh-grade IPS students at MAS Sumatera Thawalib Parabek. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of regression. The population in this study is 246 students. However, the researcher only took a sample from the eleventh-grade IPS students. The sampling technique used is total sampling, meaning all eleventh-grade IPS students were taken as 45 samples. The data collection technique in this study is a questionnaire about peer support and academic achievement data. To evaluate the research hypothesis, data analysis techniques such as simple linear regression were used. The results of the study show that: there is a negative influence of peer support on academic achievement of 47% and a significance value of -0.062 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that peer support affects academic achievement.
